We thought we would get in after about 20 minutes, but we actually got seated at 6:35‼️ I don't usually wait in line for food, so I was excited to see if it would be worth it! We started with a toast with beer!! Since there were three of us, we ordered a variety of dishes that caught our eye without taking notes! One person joined us midway, so we had to hurry and eat quickly towards the end, but it was still very delicious! I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or smelly when visiting this restaurant. As we left, we saw several groups of customers waiting outside! It's definitely a popular spot! I received a service voucher last time, so I came to the restaurant before it expired! When I arrived at 4:00 pm, just as they opened, a sudden heavy rain started, and I was able to enter the restaurant right away. We ordered beer, lemon sour, shochu highball, oolong highball (3), hormone, umegatsu, daichan, kimchi, moyashi namul, gyutan, harami, gyuhatsu, simmered stew, and cold noodles one after another, and ate until we were full♪ The hormone and meat were both fresh and very delicious! Especially the hormone, which is often difficult to chew or swallow, but the meat at Horumon Aoki can be chewed and swallowed properly, so I recommend it even for those who are not fond of hormone! I visited after a long time! I went for a meal on a weekend afternoon at a somewhat odd time, so I was able to get in without much of a wait. First, I toasted with a beer and a lactic acid bacteria highball! What I ordered was: Hormone (salt), Oochan (sauce), Sekisatsu loin, Tanshita (salt and pepper), Sazae (salt), Hatsumoto (sauce), Maruchou (salt), Bibim noodles, and Kimchi. On that day, they were sold out of mino sashimi and Wagyu kalbi. Among what I ate, the hormone and hatsumoto were especially delicious! The Sazae was also good with its unique crunchy texture. The Sekisatsu loin probably didn't need to be cooked much given its name, but it would be helpful to have a bit of explanation when it's served, as I grilled and ate it somewhat blindly. I received a service voucher valid for 2 months at the time of payment, so I want to come back before it expires. Thank you for the meal!

I don't even know how many times I've been here! Every time I pay, I get a coupon that makes things like horumon only 400 yen, so it's too good of a deal to pass up! I come about once every 2 months to renew my coupons. I usually order beef tongue, marbled beef, horumon (miso, salt), seared beef, rice, bean sprout namul, cucumber, cold noodles for dessert, and a drink, and it's all for less than 4000 yen per person, which is just too cheap! I'll work hard for the next 2 months just to eat these thick, tender meats again. On Sundays at 5 pm, there was a wait for one group. Sometimes you have to wait for 2 hours, so I recommend making a reservation! (I made a reservation a month in advance with my fixed group of 4 people)

Today, we had horumon, tan, chita, hatsumoto, and maruchou, 2 servings each. As a side, we had kimchi, cabbage, and extra rice. I didn't drink alcohol today, just had oolong tea. The meat was delicious as always. It was my first meal of the day, so the fat really hit the spot. The horumon here is best enjoyed with ponzu sauce for a light taste. The rice was also very satisfying. The tan shita was especially delicious today. The maruchou was great with the sauce. However, I do feel like the fat content is getting stronger over the years. I wanted to eat more, but decided to stop at a moderate amount. The total bill was 10,000 yen, which made me realize once again that the taste and cost performance here are excellent. Today, I visited a popular hormone restaurant in Kameido with my usual colleagues. This place is known for its delicious hormone dishes and has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. I found out that the restaurant was previously operated by Sugei Shoji Corporation, but was acquired by Amiyaki Tei Corporation in 2019, a barbecue chain based in Aichi Prefecture, for the purpose of expanding into the Tokyo metropolitan area. It seems that mergers and acquisitions are common in the food industry. The restaurant also has branches in Ueno, Akabane, and Shimokitazawa. I arrived at the restaurant around 5:40 PM. The exterior of the old building had air conditioning and ventilation equipment, giving it a somewhat imposing atmosphere. However, the entrance was welcoming with a traditional noren curtain. The room next to us was busy starting the charcoal fire for the barbecue, creating a steamy heat. Despite arriving early, the restaurant was already about 80% full. We ordered kimchi for a light appetizer, and the recommended top 5 dishes from the menu. The kimchi had a moderate level of spiciness and served as a good chopstick rest. The hormone dish, a classic choice, was delicious with its sweet and savory sauce. The shima chou (large intestine) was tender and fatty, providing a unique texture. The tanshita (tongue base) had a good chewy texture with a simple salt and pepper seasoning. The daichan (pig large intestine) had a spicy miso flavor that complemented the meat's sweetness. It was said to be a rare cut from the pig's nose, offering a new eating experience. Grilling the hormone dishes over charcoal fire really brought out the flavors, and the prices were reasonable. I appreciated the nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant and the hardworking female staff members despite the heat. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

The other day, I visited the famous restaurant Horumon Aoki in Kameido, which was introduced on a TV show. I happened to be near Kameido Station during opening hours, so I decided to stop by. There was a long line at night, so I made sure to go when I was a little hungry to avoid overordering. The amount of meat and horumon I ordered was just right. The taste of the horumon was consistently delicious. I highly recommend the salt-seasoned mino.

The other day, I saw it being introduced on Ad-machi, and I lined up with 4 people before the 16:00 opening time, but it seemed that only reservations for 4 people were available. Looking at reviews, it seemed that lining up 20 minutes before opening might work, but when I arrived 30 minutes early, there was already a couple waiting, so I became second in line. After that, more people lined up, and there were about 20 people in line. The lining up spot was not right in front of the store, but a little further away. The staff announced that today there were many reservations, so there might be a wait of over 1 hour and 30 minutes. Even though I was second in line, I was nervous because it was my first time. At 16:00, the people who had made reservations and were waiting in front of the store were called in first, and only 3 groups were called in the first round. I barely made it in the first round. Today, I had salted hormone, salted shima chou, salted beef tongue, tan shita, upper mino, spicy shima chou miso, bibimba noodles, bean sprout namul, and kimchi. For some reason, there was no lemon sour today, so I had draft beer, hoppy, and makkoli. The mino sashimi and seokusan roast were not available, but the shima chou and hormone were especially delicious, and the alcohol went well with them. The spicy bibimba noodles for the finish were spicy and delicious. The service was fast, and the satisfaction level was high. One of the famous restaurants in Kameido Hormone. I went there on Friday around 6 pm and there were a few people waiting in line, but we were seated on the second floor within 10 minutes. I ordered beef tongue for 1300 yen, hormone with ponzu sauce for 600 yen, the elusive Shibire for 600 yen, Tan Shita for 680 yen, upper mino with spicy miso for 890 yen, and a large bowl of rice for 330 yen. The beef tongue was quite thick and delicious. You can choose different flavors for the hormone, and I went with the recommended ponzu sauce which was refreshing with the rich fat. Shibire was also really good after a long time. The upper mino was also very tasty. After we finished, the staff recommended trying a sour drink with lactic acid bacteria, so I'll aim for that next time.笑

The restaurant had a smoky interior with individual grills for cooking meat. I was excited even before eating, thinking this must be delicious! I ordered various items such as bean sprout namul, marinated beef tongue, beef tripe, and quick-seared loin. The meat was incredibly delicious! I could easily eat the offal! I think the most delicious yakiniku in Kameido. I love beef tongue and raw loin. The best value for money yakiniku in Japan! I highly recommend beef tongue with green onion sauce and raw loin with raw egg. For drinks, I recommend lemon shochu. Unlike other shops, they have a salt option that pairs well with the lemon's acidity, making it my favorite lemon shochu I've ever had!

The popularity of Kameido Horumon rivals that of another famous restaurant, and our establishment has two locations with a large seating capacity. I visited on a Sunday around 6 pm and was lucky to be seated within about 5 minutes with no wait. We ordered Horumon (x2), Gyutan (beef tongue) (x2), Kalbi, Shimachou, Kimchi, Korean-style appetizers, stew, and alcohol, and everything was consistently delicious. The firm texture of the Horumon is addictive, and the stew was rich and creamy from being simmered. This time, the Gyutan had beautiful marbling that glistened. A must-try dish. Despite eating to our hearts' content with my companion, the bill came out to around 5,000 yen per person. About a 1.5 km walk away, you can find Kogane-yu and New Wing for a relaxing day out. I was taken to a restaurant that I wanted to visit by a friend. It's a place where you can eat fresh and delicious hormone. It was chosen as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog in 2022, and it can get crowded even on weekdays. Luckily, we didn't have to wait this time. The prices were reasonable and I found a dish called "Oppai" that I was excited about, but unfortunately they were sold out. I ended up ordering some delicious beef tongue with chopped green onions and garlic soy sauce on the side. The fatty part of the beef was so good, and there was a special delicacy called "Shibire" from the thymus and pancreas that was soft and sticky. It's like pork foie gras. I wanted to eat more, but we ended up going to a second restaurant and I couldn't eat anymore. I will definitely come back here again.

I recommend a yakiniku restaurant that I have visited several times! When you dine there once, you will receive a discount coupon valid for one month, making it a good deal. Although I visited after a long time and found that the prices had gone up and the taste had slightly declined, the lemon sour and namul are highly recommended! Everything was reasonably priced, so we could eat to our heart's content. The hormones were especially delicious, large, juicy, and irresistible! The daichan and flower pork were new to us, but they were also very tasty. Some of the more standard yakiniku menu items like loin and top mino were a bit pricier, so we could save more by skipping those and ordering other items. We drank around 6 beers and lemon sours each, so the total bill was not in the 3,000-4,000 yen range, but still, it was cheap! We will definitely come back!
