Recently, I was craving the popular Ebiroru Samgyupsal that has been trending on social media, so I went to Makgeolli Monogatari in Shin-Okubo's Ikemen Street for a girls' night out. I love shrimp, so I ordered the Ebiroru Samgyupsal set. It comes with Kanjangseu, seafood pancake, Yan Nyom chicken, and Sancho salad. For just 4980 yen per person, it's really worth it. - Kanjangseu has a sweet soy sauce flavor, not fishy at all, and the sweet and salty taste is really delicious. - The seafood pancake is full of seafood, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's quite a luxurious dish with plenty of shrimp and squid. And now, the highlight - the Ebiroru Samgyupsal. Shrimp cooked with pork belly arranged neatly in a circle on a hot plate. It's cooked thoroughly, then torched with a gas burner. The juicy shrimp, generously coated with cheese and garlic sauce, is simply delightful. The combination of juicy shrimp, gooey cheese, and the savory aroma of the butter is excellent. You can either dip the shrimp in cheese and eat it as it is, or wrap it in the tortilla provided in the set. The tortilla is all-you-can-eat. Personally, I find regular samgyupsal heavy, but this Ebiroru Samgyupsal is light and not greasy, making it a great recommendation for women on a diet. No bloating afterwards! It's really delicious. It looks great too, definitely worth trying. For drinks, I ordered the Bath Tub Muscat. It's a bathtub filled with two bottles of Chamisul and floating muscat grapes. It's incredibly impressive! The muscat grapes enhance the sweetness, making it very easy to drink and quite potent, so be careful not to drink too much! My friend passed out from drinking too much, haha. They also have a strawberry flavor! I visited on a weekday evening and the place was quickly fully booked, so reservations are a must. It's a great place for a group gathering, date night, or girls' night out. Highly recommended!

I went to enjoy Korean food with great cost performance. I had the thick-cut samgyeopsal set and a bucket of muscat wine. I toasted with the muscat while soaking in chamisul. The muscat was sweet and easy to drink, making it perfect to enjoy while eating. The thick-cut samgyeopsal, which was 18mm thick, was very satisfying and filling. They served a lot of side dishes, so I enjoyed wrapping the pork in lettuce. The combination of vegetables, juicy pork, and grilled kimchi was absolutely delicious. Personally, I loved the soft tofu and cheese jeon with its gentle flavor. It was a high cost-performance course, so I headed to Shin-Okubo with a full stomach!

The shrimp samgyupsal was a dish I wished I could have eaten more of! The taste of the kangjang geotjeori was just right, not too strong. It's great that it's close to the station. I came after seeing it on TV, but it was almost full from around 11 am. The seats are a bit narrow, so that's something to be aware of.

- Chukumi Samgyeopsal: Chukumi and Samgyeopsal are delicious on their own, but together they were even better than expected. The sweet and savory seasoning, the firm texture of the squid, and the juicy meat and vegetables combined perfectly. It was incredibly delicious and went well with both seafood and meat. - Seafood Pancake: The seafood pancake was quite filling with a crispy cheese topping and plenty of chives. The small cuts made it easy to eat without even realizing it. - Yangnyeom Chicken: A classic Korean dish, the Yangnyeom chicken was a delight. The fried coating and the flavorful seasoning were a great combination. It was also included in the set, which was much appreciated. - Self-made rice balls: Even though I frequent Korean restaurants, it was my first time making my own rice balls. My friends who were more experienced helped me out, and the final result was delicious with the seaweed, pickled radish, and texture. - Sanchu Salad: The salad had a generous amount of vegetables, a nice presentation, and a dressing that I personally enjoyed. It seemed like a well-balanced combination of flavors and textures.

I used to be obsessed with this place for a while but it's been a while since I last visited. It was late at night and not crowded. I knew that this place was good for dinner in the Shin-Okubo area, so I came here! The pork belly was still delicious! The shrimp and pork belly combo was also delicious! Just be careful because the shrimp portion is small for one person, as shown in the photo with three portions! I wish they would improve on serving water in paper cups when requested, it's a bit off-putting haha.

I went to "Makkoli no Monogatari," located a short walk from Shin-Okubo Station. I was surprised to find out that you can watch YouTube from tablets provided at each table in the restaurant. I ordered the Ebi Sam Set for 4980 yen, the Furotsubo Muscat for 1980 yen, and the Bonbon Sour for 480 yen. The Ebi Sam Set was a generous course with Ebi Gyopsal as the main dish, along with three types of kimchi, salad, jeon, yangnyeom chicken, and ganjang seuw. The Furotsubo Muscat was filled with delicious muscat grapes, which I enjoyed sipping from a shot glass.

Two of us had lunch on a weekday and the restaurant was crowded. The tteokbokki was spicy and delicious. The cheese balls were calorie bombs but tasty. If you want to enjoy Korean cuisine, this is the place to go. They have a wide variety of dishes which is great. I would like to visit again.

The lunch buffet of samgyupsal was only 1700 yen with unlimited refills of side dishes like lettuce and kimchi (plus 200 yen), making it a great deal! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the drinks were tasty. It's hard to find such a cost-effective samgyupsal buffet elsewhere! My friends were also satisfied with the meal. The restaurant has two floors, and we dined on the first floor this time, but the basement with neon lights has a different atmosphere that would be enjoyable for a date. I will definitely visit again.

I had lunch at the popular restaurant "Makori no Monogatari" in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo. The course included Chuukumi Sam set (for 2-3 people), Chuukumi Samgyeopsal (for 2 people), seafood jeon, yangnyeom chicken, self-serve onigiri, and sanchu salad, among others. We also enjoyed a muscat chamisul in a beer barrel, which felt like a summer tradition. Even if you're not a fan of chamisul, you might find it surprisingly drinkable with fruits. I have been eating Korean food since I was young, so I can be a bit picky, but the jeon here was excellent with a chewy inside and crispy outside. Adding kimchi and dipping sauce made it even more delicious. The highlight was definitely the Chuukumi Samgyeopsal - eating meat and good octopus together in the summer gives you a boost of energy. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying, with great value for money. The restaurant allows solo diners, and the back seats seemed to have a high percentage of women, creating a lively atmosphere. I visited around 12:30 on a Sunday. I thought it would be crowded because it's a popular place. When I arrived, the inside of the restaurant was full. However, there were seats available downstairs. It was spacious and surprisingly clean. There were many foreigners and older ladies inside, not many Japanese families. I ordered Samgyupsal, Japchae, Kimchi pancake, and Cheese Kimbap. The food was even more delicious than I imagined, and the young staff members were working hard and provided excellent service. The food was served quickly and tasted great. I will definitely come back again.

Visited the restaurant after seeing it featured on "King's Brunch". It was past 9 PM, but the place was almost full and bustling with young women and couples. The dish I tried, "Ebi Roll Samgyupsal", was prepared by the staff. It consisted of shrimp wrapped in pork belly, covered in plenty of cheese, wrapped in a tortilla, dipped in a herb-scented sauce, and eaten in one bite. It was delicious! I initially thought of ordering Makgeolli, but opted for Korean beer "TERRA". It had a low foam and was quite light with a subtle malt flavor. It paired well with the greasy dish! I was guided to an underground restaurant area, which was spacious and clean. The food was typical Korean cuisine found in Shin-Okubo, so I would rate it a 3.0. However, the cute staff member who grilled the samgyupsal for us added an extra 0.5 points, making it a 3.5 in total!

It was very crowded and fully booked, with a 2-hour time limit. I ordered the Ebil Roll Samgyupsal. The shrimp was thinly wrapped in meat, mixed with cheese, rolled in a tortilla, and dipped in cheese garlic sauce. The combination with this sauce was incredibly delicious. There were a variety of Makgeolli and cocktails to choose from, and the Makgeolli went down smoothly.

I visited around 8:30 pm without a reservation and there were about 3 groups ahead of me. I wrote my name and was called in about 15 minutes, so I didn't have to wait long to be seated, which was nice! I had the shrimp roll and pork belly set with a friend, and it was very delicious with just the right amount of food! The staff were also very polite! There was also a woman dining alone, so I think it's good for solo dining too! (^^)

The fire was put out immediately after it started, so the cheese quickly hardened, which was a problem. The shrimp wrapped in meat was delicious. It was cooked on a buttered iron plate. There were both first and basement floors, and the basement was spacious and nice. It was hot outside that day, so the air conditioning was too cold.

On weekends during lunchtime, reservations are a must. When you make a reservation, they will secure a spacious table in the back for you. The service is fast, and most importantly, the prices are cheaper and the food tastier compared to other Korean restaurants nearby (they have unique items on the menu). There is a clean restroom for both men and women.

I visited this place specifically for the shrimp samgyupsal. It's located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station, down a side street. I arrived around 6pm on a weekday without a reservation and it was crowded. The shrimp samgyupsal is best enjoyed while the cheese is still warm. I also tried the mandu and chijimi, which were delicious. The restaurant is small and seats are close together, so there isn't much space for a lot of dishes.

The combination of shrimp and delicious cheese is amazing. Two servings might not be enough for three people. The seafood pancake is the best as a snack! It's crispy and fluffy with a good thickness. It was delicious. I want to go again.

Visited with a friend who is starting to get into Korean (Shin-Okubo) culture. The restaurant is located about 5 minutes from the station on a street filled with good-looking people. The atmosphere inside is lively with K-pop music playing. We enjoyed unique Makgeolli cocktails and original Makgeolli. We snacked on seafood pancakes and kimchi while having a fun time drinking. We didn't plan to eat a lot, so there are still menu items we want to try. We want to come back with an empty stomach. Thank you for the meal.

I used the all-you-can-eat samgyeopsal and all-you-can-drink alcohol for lunch. When I made a reservation, I was seated in a private room-like area (with two tables inside, separated from the other regular seating), so it was quiet and nice. However, the restroom was nearby and sometimes the scent of air freshener would waft over. The food was brought to us quickly when we ordered, and drinks were on a glass exchange system. The only thing I didn't quite understand was that they would take away our glasses before bringing us a new drink.

I came to the restaurant because I wanted to eat Ebi Roll Samgyupsal! It was even more delicious than I imagined! The shrimp was just the right size, not too small or too big! I ordered the Ebi Roll Samgyupsal and a few side dishes, and it was just the right amount! It was delicious! If I had to say one thing, I ordered the cow's intestines sashimi, but I think it would have been better without the green onions, just simple with the cow's intestines!
