On July 29, 2023, during the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, I booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, with a room for viewing the fireworks. The dinner started at 4:00 pm, but check-in was from 3:00 pm. When I arrived at 2:45 pm, the lobby was crowded and I was told, "I'm sorry, you can't check in right now." I had to give up and leave my luggage with a young female staff member who seemed quite grumpy. I understand they were busy, but the attitude was really unacceptable. Maybe it was because I am a foreigner? This kind of behavior is not fitting for such a prestigious hotel. Perhaps that staff member should consider leaving. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was finally able to check in. I arrived just in time for the dinner start time. It felt like New Year's Eve with the rush. The banquet hall was spacious, but it took a while to get the food. The staff in the banquet hall were top-notch, very kind and attentive. The food served was a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. Some items needed to be replenished, and there were no refills for fruits or desserts. However, all the Chinese dishes were delicious, and the Japanese side dishes were also tasty. I stayed in a room on the eleventh floor, which was slightly lower, but still had a good view of the fireworks from both the first and second viewing rooms. I will definitely visit again next year.

Lunch buffet at Musashi-san on the 26th floor. They were having a Niigata Fair, with grilled Niigata beef thigh meat, peach mousse, and Yokoze Mountain ice cream as premium dishes limited to one plate per person. I wanted to eat more thigh meat. The menu was rich and the dishes were constantly replenished, so it was very good. The kiwi juice was delicious and I got hooked on it. Many people were receiving anniversary plates at the window seats. Maybe it's a different reservation method.

I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to Tokyo. The 28th floor "Ice House" is a dedicated afternoon tea floor with a wonderful view and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy afternoon tea while overlooking the Skytree. The afternoon tea, themed in shades of green for early summer, was like a small garden. The drink was a refreshing melon-flavored concoction with chopped chocolate on top. The sweets plate was delightful with melon blancmange, melon roll cake, bergamot chocolate, matcha tart, Earl Grey macaron, and pistachio mousse cake. The fondue plate featured a warm matcha fondue with dango, gyuhi, fruits (strawberries, oranges, blueberries), and red bean paste, cream, and matcha ice cream. The savory plate was a luxurious version of a complete lunch, with soba noodles, green pea cold soup, octopus, okra, and grapefruit carpaccio, green soy bacon bread, avocado and shrimp spring rolls, edamame and tsukune fritters, and onigiri (tarako seaweed and ikura perilla rolls). The green asparagus bruschetta with prosciutto and camembert cheese was also delicious. Overall, it was a fulfilling afternoon tea experience where I enjoyed the flavors of early summer.

While looking at the Skytree, we enjoyed a buffet with various dishes. In particular, the cream croquette was delicious! We also had a cheese platter, aqua pazza, and enjoyed beer and whiskey.

Attended a New Year's party for work. It was held at a round table in the banquet hall. It had been three years since the last one due to the impact of COVID. However, it was good that each dish was served separately for safety reasons. Well, it's banquet food, so it's to be expected. I don't think the food is the main focus... I wouldn't choose it for a private event. Thank you for the meal.

This is a city hotel located right near the TX Asakusa Station exit. I had a kaiseki meal at the soaring banquet hall on the 4th floor of the hotel. The beautifully arranged appetizer was not only visually appealing but also delicious. The mushroom soup in the bowl had a perfect thickness and was very tasty. The tiered box contained sashimi, grilled dishes, simmered dishes, and a main dish, all colorful and vibrant. The beef steak, in particular, was thick and very delicious. The rice was cooked with salmon and went well with the fragrant items. After finishing the dessert, I was full and completely satisfied with the kaiseki meal.

I went to enjoy my first afternoon tea with the return gift from Furusato Tax. I was very happy to see the view of Asakusa from a nice seat. There are not only sweet treats but also savory ones, so I recommend it to men as well. The photos look really good, haha.

We visited the hotel with a stay plan that included access to the top bar Ice House on the 28th floor and breakfast buffet at Sky Grill Buffet Musashi on the 26th floor in the fall of 2022. Thanks to the national travel support, the cost was about 30,000 yen for 2 people in 1 room. We stayed in a non-smoking Executive DX Twin Sky Tree view room (for 2-3 people) with glass counter seats at foot level, where we could enjoy the views of Asakusa and Sky Tree. The stay plan included free drinks in the fridge, but we regret not drinking them before leaving. Despite a few hiccups, we had a fun 2 days. Thank you for taking care of us.

It was a morning buffet restaurant, but during the pandemic, you could choose between Japanese or Western food. I chose Japanese food. Everything, including dessert, was delicious. The service was a bit slow in terms of being seated and receiving the food, so I recommend going with plenty of time. Drinks were brought before the meal.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The view is amazing, there weren't many people, so my family and I could relax and have tea. The sweets and tea were delicious, and it was cute that they served rice cakes with the drinks, which felt very Asakusa-like. The hotel staff were friendly and casual, and the atmosphere was just right. The view and relaxed feeling were priceless. I imagine it must be tough with so few guests, but I hope they keep up the good work. There are not many tea spots left in Asakusa with a proper sense of style.

Visited for lunch on a holiday. I made a reservation for the first session (11:30~) of the lunch service. The restaurant is located on the 26th floor of Asakusa View Hotel, offering a great view including Tokyo Skytree visible through the window. The buffet service is not self-serve, instead, the food is brought to your table either on a wagon or by order. Each seat had original mineral water prepared in advance, and we were served with a trio of appetizers as soon as we sat down. Following that, wagons with salad, fish dishes, and meat dishes came one after another, all within the 90-minute time limit without any long waits. We then ordered items like corn potage, gratin, steamed shrimp dumplings, crab cream croquette, tempura with shrimp and seasonal vegetables, and chirashi sushi. Everything was delicious, but the crab cream croquette left a particularly good impression. The tempura made with the tender tips of bamboo shoots was also very tasty. We were also served homemade jam with bread, and the white peach jam was excellent. Desserts were brought on a wagon, offering a variety of small-sized treats including cakes and fruits, allowing us to enjoy a little bit of everything. The menu items were intentionally made in small portions, allowing us to try a variety of items with ease. Despite the 90-minute time limit, the staff made sure we were not kept waiting, and I would definitely like to visit again when the timing is right.

First visit on a Saturday, entrance time 7:00, moderate crowd, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great as you can see the Skytree and Asakusa town. It is very clean, bright, and has a sense of cleanliness. The staff are very polite and even escorted us to the elevator. They were attentive, even offering water during the meal. Ordered both Japanese and Western set meals, arrived in a normal amount of time, around 10 minutes. The taste was exquisite, with well-seasoned dishes. The fish was fatty and the side dishes like pickles had a hint of yuzu, very elaborate. Overall rating is A.

I stayed at the Asakusa View Hotel, which is blessed with a super location right in front of the Skytree, for one night. The thing I was most looking forward to was this breakfast buffet. When I was led to my table, it was by the window and the view was amazing. I could see the Skytree perfectly from my room, too. Now, onto the breakfast buffet - it was a fantastic mix of Japanese and Western dishes. Everything I tried was delicious, especially the fluffy omelettes which I went back for seconds. The white rice was also tasty, so I had seconds with grated yam on top. And the hotel curry was quite spicy and delicious. Why are hotel rice dishes so tasty? This time, I focused more on Japanese food than Western food, so I have fewer comments on the Western dishes, but I heard the bread was also delicious. I wonder when I will be able to come back to Asakusa again... I hope the coronavirus situation gets better soon! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This time, I stayed at Asakusa View Hotel. It's a great location for exploring the downtown area. It seems suitable for staying before or after using the airport. The price is reasonable, which is nice. It's also close to Ueno station for Shinkansen users. I was satisfied with the variety of breakfast options, and the quality was good for the price. The grilled fish was particularly delicious. There was also an egg station. The room felt a bit old and musty due to aging, but it was acceptable. The staff was also good.

The sea bream carpaccio was delicious and the steak was tender, I highly recommend it! I ordered the 400 gram sirloin steak and it was so tender and flavorful, it literally melts in your mouth! The head chef and staff are all very kind. Please come and try it for yourself!

Asakusa View Hotel 6th floor, Sugoroku, open only on Tuesdays to Fridays. It is from 5:30 pm. Tuesdays are a hidden gem. The Japanese and creative dishes are delicious, and I like the freshness and taste of the ingredients. The staff is also friendly and fun. ✨

We will be having our Christmas party on the 27th floor again this year. We enjoyed a pre-dinner meal, and the new chef's dishes were warm and delicious! We are looking to gather around 60 to 70 people. We are looking forward to having a lively time again this year.

The dinner in the room with a view of the night scenery at Asakusa View Hotel was wonderful. Being able to enjoy the meal while looking at the beautiful night view was truly amazing. Plus, it came with champagne, so we could continue to enjoy the view with a drink after finishing our meal. The dinner itself consisted of soup, appetizer, main course, bread, and dessert. The salmon appetizer and the meat dish for the main course were particularly good. Although it was room service, the quality was as expected. The staff even took a photo for us as a memento. I would love to come back again for the great view. Thank you for the meal!

After eating at the eel restaurant, we came here for dessert. My friend didn't have high expectations for the cake here, but it was actually quite delicious! We had the rare cheesecake (the name was more charming) and some tea (served in a pot). The cake was light and not too sweet.

Family visit to the 26th floor Musashi Buffet for the first time. Originally, we were supposed to have a view of the Skytree, but due to the middle of the rainy season, we could only see the lower part. The lunch session was divided into three parts starting from 11:30 am and was a 90-minute limit. We have been to several buffets in Tokyo, and as expected, the variety of dishes was abundant and we couldn't finish everything. However, it felt like there were too many customers for the size of the floor, and the seating areas were a bit cramped which made it a bit dangerous to move around. There were also many groups which made it a bit noisy. It was a bit rushed to wait in line for the grill section, but the roasted pork and steak were tender and being able to enjoy them freshly made was great! Overall, we would definitely like to visit again.
