I love this restaurant. I have visited multiple times for their meat rice bowl! I had the Extreme Hormone, thick-cut beef tongue, harami (salt), kalbi (sauce) and namul assorted plate, and of course, the meat rice bowl. I have been to the main store, Sakura Street store, and East Exit store, and each has its own charm. The main store is great for a lively atmosphere, Sakura Street store is good for a relaxing private room, and the East Exit store is suitable for dates or families, I think. The seats are slightly spaced apart, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying too much about the surroundings. Ordering is done through a button system, and the staff comes quickly. The service is fast, and all the staff are very friendly and approachable. When I struggled to cut the thick-cut beef tongue with scissors, they advised me to cook it a little more, and then efficiently guided me through the process until I could enjoy it! They also have a wide variety of drink options, so both drinkers and non-drinkers can enjoy. I look forward to visiting this restaurant for different occasions in the future.

The food was delicious as always♪ Today, I also ordered extra premium hormone and harami. It wasn't as crowded as usual for lunch, so I was able to eat slowly. I ate a lot and I'm satisfied. I will come back again soon.

The staff were friendly, the store was clean, and I want to go back again. Next time, I want to try the charcoal-grilled main store! Unfortunately, they didn't cook enough of the stone-grilled bibimbap, so they couldn't make the burnt rice. We had 2 draft beers, 1 hoppy, 2 medium glasses of wine, thick-cut tongue with green peppers, ultimate hormone mix, upper mino, seseri, yagen, cartilage, kimchi platter, small huts sashimi, and stone-grilled bibimbap. The total was ¥12,815.

■My personal No.1 for yakiniku in Shinjuku! (Although I prefer the main store...) -Location- The Shinjuku Higashi-guchi store is located in a relatively new building near the entrance of Kabukicho's 1st street. -Atmosphere- This store is cleaner and brighter than the main store, with a wide range of age groups. -Review- The premium hormone here is just amazing. You can get one plate for free with a LINE friend coupon. It's incredible. Since two of my friends were visiting for the first time, we got a total of two plates for free. (Sorry for being a bit greedy, haha) Of course, the other meats are delicious too. The beef tongue, in particular, is perfectly thick and just to my liking. So, if you ask me for a recommendation, I would say go for the premium hormone and the grilled beef tongue with green onions.

I have been to the main store before, but this was my first visit to the Shinjuku Higashi-guchi store. The interior of the store is cleaner and less smoky compared to the main store. I prefer the atmosphere of the main store. The beef tongue and yukgaejang soup were delicious. However, the harami (skirt steak) and wagyu kalbi were a bit mediocre. The sauce for dipping wasn't very tasty... it felt a bit thin. When dipping fatty meat into the sauce, the fat drips off and dilutes the sauce even more. Maybe the salted meat would taste better. I was happy to see they had kkaennip (perilla leaf) for wrapping. It was only 700 yen for a half size. Affordable! Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 3pm on a weekday. The restaurant is open all day, which is convenient. It is located on the 8th floor with almost half of the walls being windows, providing a great view and a beautiful interior. It was not crowded and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly and provided good service with a smile. I would like to visit again in the early afternoon in Kabukicho. Thank you for the meal. ☺️ Highly recommended. ❤️❤️

I used it on my way back from shopping. This shop is located in Kabukicho 1st Street, and I had visited the store in Higashi-Shinjuku before because I couldn't forget how delicious it was. The Higashi-Shinjuku store was somewhat small and had a typical horumon yakiniku restaurant atmosphere, but this shop has a very clean interior with a chic black color scheme. I sat down and ordered a draft beer first. The draft beer was Premium Malt. The glass was well chilled and the beer was delicious! And the service was quite fast! I ordered cuts like Gokumi Horumon, Yagen Nankotsu, chicken thigh, and seseri to grill slowly, and it's delicious when it's slightly burnt... The meat here... The momi-dare sauce is slightly thick, but the sauce to dip in after grilling is fresh and goes very well with it, making the alcohol go down smoothly! The chicken thigh meat has a juicy and bouncy texture, and the Yagen Nankotsu has a unique texture that is enjoyable! The famous Gokumi Horumon is firm and addictive, making you get into an endless loop of eating horumon and drinking alcohol. I ended up ordering a lot, so the total came to a little over 5000 yen, which was quite pricey, but I have no regrets at all, and I actually want to go again. Thank you for the meal!

If you're more interested in delicious meat than atmosphere or Instagrammable settings, this yakiniku restaurant is perfect for you. It's suitable for various occasions like dates or meals with friends, and is sure to be well-received. With plenty of seating, you can usually get in without waiting if the timing is right. However, making a reservation in advance would be smoother.

I came here for the first time to have yakiniku in Shinjuku. I made a reservation a few days ago because everyone was saying that it's necessary based on reviews. When I asked if I could change the time on the day of, they said the reservations were full and changes were not possible. It was definitely a good decision to make a reservation at this restaurant. The rib meat, pork belly, and offal were delicious. However, some other dishes were too salty and disappointing. Maybe because I made the reservation early, we had a seat with a very nice view. Thank you for the meal.

[Overview] Located in Shinjuku Kabukicho, the famous yakiniku restaurant "Hormone Yaki Kohei Shinjuku Higashiguchi Store" has been loved for a long time in the competitive yakiniku area of Shinjuku. The location is great, right at the entrance of Kabukicho. While the main store has a casual atmosphere, the Higashiguchi store has a clean and stylish interior, offering a different vibe.

- Raw Green Onion Tongue Salt 1,600 yen: Plenty of green onions, delicious tongue salt, and the special green onion salt sauce is amazing. It's a dilemma when to add the large amount of green onions, but I enjoyed it by putting them on while grilling and wrapping them up.
- Extreme Hormone 900 yen: The popular "Extreme Hormone" is a must-order item. Large cut, incredibly tender, sweet fattiness, chewy texture, and the umami of the spicy miso sauce... everything was perfect! Thank you for the feast!

I was wandering around Shinjuku on a Sunday afternoon and felt like having yakiniku. We were able to leave one baby stroller at our table and fold up another one to store it in the balcony. The restaurant had mostly sofa seats and a spacious interior. There were some steps but they were manageable. Despite it being around 3 pm on a Sunday, the restaurant was about 60% full and lively. There was even a family of five with three young children. I only managed to take photos of the dishes we ordered at the beginning. My personal favorite was the "Negi Shita," which had three types of grilled green onions and was delicious. The remaining three dishes were salted hormone, pig's head meat, and salted tongue, all of which were tasty. The "Goku Hormone" (miso-marinated hormone) was generously cut and flavorful. The namul platter and salted salad were as expected. The kalbi and loin were also delicious. We went in without high expectations, but the food was so good that I ended up overeating. I couldn't resist ordering one more round of meat and rice, which pushed the total bill to just over ¥6000 for one person. However, I would have been satisfied even if I had kept it under ¥5000. They also served corn silk tea, which was a nice touch. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to horumon in Shinjuku, Kounaga is the best choice. This day, we went to a bar first and then to a horumon restaurant. It's like the second starting pitcher for the WBC Japan team. Kounaga is located in the Suzuya building along Yasukuni Street. Take the elevator to the 8th floor. Unlike the main store, this branch has a smokeless roaster. We ordered 3 servings of premium horumon for two people, one serving of spicy horumon, and thousand-layered sashimi. We also shared a large bottle of makgeolli. The premium horumon was tender, with sweet fat spreading in the mouth, it was amazing. It's been about 8 years since I first encountered addictive horumon at Kounaga. Still delicious. The spicy horumon and regular horumon have a lot of fatty parts, so they are grilled over charcoal fire, but since it's a smokeless roaster, there is no heavy smoke. The makgeolli is served in a jar. Kounaga is a well-known restaurant for horumon, so if you avoid premium cuts and rare parts, it's quite reasonable. In extreme cases, just having the premium horumon is enough. You'll definitely want to come back for more.

I wanted to eat hormone yakiniku in Shinjuku, so I went to the new store that I had been curious about out of the four stores. I ordered "Jou Tan Shio" (premium tongue with salt), "Jou Karubi" (premium short rib), and "Kiwami Hormone" (premium hormone). They were all delicious and had great value for money. The "Yukkejang Ramen" I ordered as a finale was incredibly delicious. It was not too spicy, so even though I'm not good with spicy food, I could enjoy it. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, the interior is spacious, and the cost performance is great, making it very user-friendly.

I came back again! I felt like eating meat for lunch, and since I love spicy food, I'm eating grilled meat with green chili peppers. There seem to be more customers than before, and I noticed that there are more foreign staff members now. But they are working hard and providing great customer service.

I went to this restaurant with friends. All the meat was delicious. It has a real yakiniku vibe. The interior is bright and the seating is spacious, making it very comfortable. The yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was also delicious. I love beef tongue, so I'm happy to find a place with delicious beef tongue. Thank you for the meal. #meat #yakiniku #Shinjuku #Kabukicho #delicious #full #food #foodstagram #delicious #delistagrammer #tasty

Today, I had a year-end party with my friends at a convenient location in Shinjuku Kabukicho. The 6,600 yen all-you-can-drink menu was reasonable considering the location. The quality of the all-you-can-drink options was high, including Maker's Mark highballs. They served a variety of meats such as harami, rib roast, hormone, tongue, and kalbi, with rice, soup, and dessert included. I'm so full now. Thank you for the meal!

I sometimes go to the Okubo branch, but it was my first time at the Higashi-guchi branch. Being on the 8th floor, the view was great. The interior of the restaurant was also beautiful. I enjoyed comparing different cuts of beef tongue and eating the seared wagyu beef. The rare cuts were delicious too. I learned something new this time - I always thought that you should put out a fire on the grill with ice, but apparently you can use lettuce instead.

Once you taste the flavor of Yakiniku Sukiya, you'll become addicted. The Shinjuku Higashi-guchi branch is conveniently located near Seibu Shinjuku Station. Lately, whenever I crave yakiniku, this place has become my top choice. The taste is like a typical yakiniku restaurant, and the cost and accessibility are just right. Recommended menu items include thick-cut tongue steak, jumbo harami steak, classic sirloin, premium hormone, wagyu tataki, beef tendons, cold noodles, and assorted namul. The sauce is the highlight, especially the sauce recommended on the menu. The salt is recommended for the beef tendons. However, it's the addictive taste of this sauce that stands out. It has a mysterious spice flavor that makes you want to pour it over rice or enjoy with an oolong highball. The hearty tongue steak and harami steak have decent meat quality and a rough but not typical chain restaurant taste, which is appealing. In other words, you'll be satisfied no matter what you order. If you want to enjoy a proper yakiniku experience, this is the place to go. The view of Shinjuku from the 8th floor of the building is also nice.

I went to Sukiya! I usually went to the Seibu Shinjuku store, but it closed down, so I visited the Shinjuku Higashiguchi store for the first time. The interior was very beautiful, and the seating was spacious and comfortable. It is located in Kabukicho, but it is almost facing Yasukuni Street, making it easy to enter. The recommended meats were tongue, harami, and kashira. I tried kashira for the first time, which is said to be the cheek of the cow. It was meaty for a hormone, with a mild taste. Personally, I recommend eating it with salt. The sauce is also delicious, but it is spicy, so it may be a bit difficult for those who are not good with spicy food. The prices are not too high, and overall, it is a very cost-effective restaurant. I would like to visit again.

Shinjuku Yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Koen Nagae Shinjuku Higashiguchi" is located in a building at the entrance of Kabukicho and Theater Street (Kabukicho Ichiban-gai) in Shinjuku. Known for its Shinjuku Yakiniku, Yakiniku Koen Nagae is a popular chain in Shinjuku. Although it is located near Seibu Shinjuku Station, this branch uses gas instead of charcoal. The interior of the restaurant offers a view of the Unika Vision screen at Alpen TOKYO.
We ordered the following dishes:
- Tongue assortment
- Sakura Yukhoe (Korean raw beef)
- Top Harami (skirt steak)
- Geta Kalbi (short rib)
- Ultimate Hormone (intestines)
- Sanchu Set
- Aoyama Salad
- Stone-grilled Bibimbap
The Tongue assortment was a popular choice with thick slices of tongue steak and thick slices of top tongue with salt. The meat was marinated in sauce, which had a classic Korean BBQ flavor that goes well with rice and sake. It was a delicious taste. Eating Sanchu with Aoyama Salad was also tasty, although the Aoyama Salad was quite spicy.
I haven't had many options for Yakiniku in Shinjuku before, but visiting Yakiniku Koen Nagae reminded me that there are good Yakiniku restaurants in Shinjuku. They seem to focus more on the seasoning than the quality of the meat, but the prices are reasonable. I would like to visit again.
