The chicken thigh meat roulade was 880 yen. The coriander herb salad was 880 yen. The nikujaga (meat and potato stew) was 1320 yen. The umesuisho (plum jelly) was 500 yen. Today, I went to "Gaigai" in Azabu-Juban for the first time with my senior at a high-class gathering. It was my senior's favorite restaurant. Here is a photo of the menu: - Junmai scooped tofu - Chicken sashimi - Lightly smoked oysters - Miso-marinated cream cheese and egg yolk - Corn tempura - Liver (Koshu Akadori chicken) - Gizzard (Koshu Akadori chicken) - Thigh meat (Nagoya Cochin) - Tsukune (Hinai-jidori chicken) - Handmade zaru soba. Thank you for the delicious meal, senior!

I had Hatsu, baby bird's thigh, liver sashimi, sasami umeshiso, and wasabi. The sasami umeshiso was the best. It was chewy and delicious! My favorite is usually slightly raw, but the umeshiso was just right for me. The atmosphere is dark and perfect for a date night.

Everything was delicious. The avocado and shrimp tartare was cute and tasty, the seafood marinated in vinegar looked like a jewelry box, the grilled chicken was delicious, the soba noodles were delicious, and there was a wide variety of drinks. The atmosphere was nice, and the counter seats are perfect for a date. The private rooms also looked nice. I want to go back again. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!

First visit. I made a same-day reservation, so I got a private room. The private room was narrow and cozy, with a secretive atmosphere that surprisingly made it quite comfortable. However, the counter looked very inviting and I would like to sit there next time. The dishes were all creatively prepared, giving off a chic and stylish izakaya vibe. The Karasumi Daikon was especially delicious...perfect for a sophisticated date night in Minato-ku. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Everything was delicious, especially the sashimi. The Hokkai octopus legs for 1760 yen and the chicken liver sashimi for 880 yen were outstanding. The chicken breast and komatsuna appetizer, as well as the grilled chicken, were also very tasty. While the grilled chicken was not my favorite, I still enjoyed it. The variety of chicken sashimi options at reasonable prices was a pleasant surprise. The sake was a bit pricey, so I opted for the Kuzuryu Junmai which was reasonably priced at 1000 yen for a 150ml mini bottle. I really wanted to try the fresh sea urchin sashimi, but I was too shy to ask because it was listed at 4180 yen. We had two draft beers, two mini bottles of Kuzuryu sake, one highball, and various dishes for a total of just under 20,000 yen. The female staff was very pleasant. If I had a sponsor, I would definitely revisit this restaurant and recommend it to my friends.

The restaurant offers grilled chicken skewers from all over the country. You can enjoy a leisurely meal in a private room. The refined seasoning allows you to savor the original flavor of the ingredients. The salad made with seasonal vegetables has a slight bitterness that enhances the sweetness of the vegetables. The sashimi was fresh and fatty. The yakitori selection may vary depending on the stock, but I tried the liver and tsukune, which were juicy, sweet, and refreshing. I would love to visit again if the timing is right.

I think it's very delicious among the shops that are open until morning. Personally, I might prefer snacks over yakitori. If you use it as an izakaya, it's convenient, delicious, reasonably priced, and very good! The atmosphere was also nice, with a casual feel.

We visited the restaurant with two people! Since we went during the evening, it seemed a bit crowded! [Atmosphere of the restaurant] It had a cozy, hidden gem atmosphere which made it easy to relax! We ordered drinks and appetizers. [Food feedback, staff's response and attitude, etc.] The presentation and taste of the dishes were all excellent. Everything was delicious so we will definitely visit again!

Surprisingly crowded, but the small private room in the back is delicious for yakitori. The tofu is also tasty. The seasonal seaweed menu is very extensive. They even gave us rice with the tsukune. There is a wide variety of alcohol options. The sashimi platter was generous. Thank you for the feast.

At Azabu-Juban, a hidden retreat for adults to forget the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy Japan's top three brand of grilled skewers - "Gaigai", "Nagoya Cochin", "Akita Hinai Jidori", and "Satsuma Wakashamo". They also offer high-quality Echizen Wakasa beef, known for its marbled texture. The restaurant features a selection of Kyoto, Kaga, and Miura vegetables, allowing guests to experience the beauty of Japanese ingredients. With a wide selection of sake, wine, and English menu options, it is popular among foreign visitors as well. I have been a regular here for 10 years, and when it comes to grilled chicken, this is the place to go.

Arrived at the restaurant at 10:20 pm on Friday. This time, I was led to a private room in the back, which I didn't know they had. Ordered: - Otoshi (appetizer) x2 for 600 yen each - Kyoto yuba topped with sea urchin for 1,200 yen - Hakushu highball x6 for 1,200 yen each - 5% service charge. We were in a rush during the first round, so we quickly ate the food and drank the wine, and ended up quite full. I really wanted to try blowfish this time, but had to give up. I'll make sure to come prepared with an empty stomach next time so I can enjoy the meal properly. Thank you for the meal!

It was my first time in about half a year. There were a lot of people, so sometimes I could take photos and sometimes I couldn't. The inside of the restaurant was dark, so the pictures didn't look very appetizing. I was disappointed that the chicken sashimi I was looking forward to was almost sold out from the beginning, but everything I ate was delicious and I ended up very satisfied when I left. The quail and liver skewers left a strong impression, especially the liver was tender and cooked just right. It's easy to make a reservation, they are open until 5 o'clock, and when skewers of this level are served, there's nothing to complain about. Everyone was full from the appetizers, but we also had handmade soba noodles for the finish. The soba noodles alone are delicious enough to come back just for them, and the rich soba broth was very satisfying. There are few late-night restaurants that are as delicious and convenient as this one. The atmosphere of the restaurant is stylish and it might be a good choice for a second date. I definitely want to visit again!

Tokyo Azabu-Juban Gourmet! Delicious chicken dishes✨ The variety of chicken sashimi is abundant, and the liver sashimi is so tasty that you'll want seconds (lol). The main grilled chicken is Koshu Akadori, with three types of thigh meat available for comparison - Koshu Akadori, Nagoya Cochin, and Hinai-jidori. Personally, I like the fatty Nagoya Cochin the best. The selection of shochu, such as "Tenshi no Yuwaku" and "Cool Mint," is great✨ There are also private rooms available, so you can enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace. #Wine #AzabuJuban #AzabuJubanGourmet #AzabuJubanBar #Izakaya #Yakitori #JapaneseCuisine #HinaiJidori #NagoyaCochin #Shochu #TenshinoYuwaku #Sake #NewPolitics #Whisky #Gaigai

I came to this restaurant with three friends, led by an acquaintance. It's tucked away in a quiet spot off the main street, so you might miss it if you don't know about it. We started with chicken sashimi, then had simmered beef tendon with daikon, jumbo mushrooms, tempura enoki mushrooms, and yakitori. We finished with soba noodles and dessert. Even though we were quite full before the soba, we managed to finish everything. The texture of the chicken liver sashimi and the tenderness of the beef tendon were exceptional. The mushrooms were so thick and juicy, it was amazing. The tempura enoki mushrooms were crispy, and the yakitori (chicken skewers) were delicious, especially the sand gizzard, thigh (Hinai), and tsukune (chicken meatballs with peppers). The sand gizzard was crunchy, the thigh had crispy skin and tender meat, the tsukune was juicy and flavorful with a perfect balance of sweet and salty sauce and egg yolk. Everything was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. The soba noodles were thin and smooth. For dessert, the chestnut and pistachio combination was rich and intense, but the gelato added a refreshing touch. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant, and I would love to visit again.

This restaurant was on my list of places to visit. I found out about it through the TV show "The Best Restaurant in Life" where Shigeru Izumi introduced it. It's a hidden gem with a great atmosphere. The dishes I tried were: Grilled chicken thigh for 500 yen, Chicken breast sashimi for 500 yen (small portion), Grilled liver (with sauce and salt) for 350 yen each (very fresh and delicious), Chicken heart for 300 yen (tasty), Chicken meatball for 500 yen (rich sauce with a good egg yolk flavor), Tomato wrapped in bacon for 300 yen (sweet tomato that even a tomato hater like me enjoyed), Chicken wings for 500 yen (crispy and flavorful), Jumbo mushroom grilled over charcoal for 800 yen (delicious but pricey), and Grilled Saga lotus root for 400 yen (crispy and great texture). We also had 4 beers for 800 yen each and 2 appetizers for 600 yen each. Overall, the cost performance was not great, but the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It's fine to be number 10, isn't it? No, actually number 10 is the best! Yes, that's how it became known as Azabu-Juban, inspired by the way Azabu-Juban Saeimon Renho lived. That is a big lie, as big as a giant squid. Azabu-Juban did not become known that way. It is filled with honesty and kindness. Azabu-Juban is a town where nice people gather, so I must confess! I rated it all 3.8 points this time because I haven't been there and don't know much about it. But I really, really love Azabu-Juban. I shed a tear and I am convinced that this is how Meguro's Sanma was born.

Located in Azabu-Juban, Gai Gai is a famous restaurant where you can enjoy yakitori made from one of Japan's top three local chickens. This place is known for being frequented by the late Ken Shimura. While yakitori is the main focus, they also offer a variety of seasonal dishes. The entrance exudes a hidden gem vibe, so if you're not paying attention, you might walk right past it. I wanted to try Shimura's way of drinking whiskey, but the 21-year-old Taketsuru whiskey recommended by him was priced at a whopping 28,000 yen, so I settled for the 12-year-old Yamazaki instead. As it's already autumn, there were plenty of matsutake mushroom dishes on the menu, such as matsutake dobinmushi. The gentleman next to me, who seemed like a regular, ordered a parade of matsutake dishes, but being a first-timer, I stuck to ordering chicken dishes. The sand liver sashimi was particularly delicious with a great texture. The ambiance inside the restaurant is dimly lit and has a fantastic atmosphere. The clientele seemed to consist of older men and young women exuding a water business vibe. I feel like I need to learn from the lively spirit of the Azabu gentlemen. The bill came out to around 10,000 yen per person, which I think is a good value for eating and drinking to your heart's content in this Azabu-Juban location.

Hidden yakitori restaurant in Asakusa, open every Sunday until 5 am. The atmosphere is great and I had the place to myself when I visited on a late Sunday night. The food was delicious and the hospitality was excellent. Thank you for reading until the end! Your support with follows, likes, and saves means a lot to me. The slightly dim lighting created a cozy atmosphere that I personally enjoyed. Although it's a yakitori restaurant, the variety of yakitori was limited. However, each skewer was delicious, and they also offered sashimi which was satisfying. The fish, vegetables, and soba noodles were all of the same high quality and tasty. They had a wide selection of drinks, and I ended up drinking quite a bit that day.
