I always order the Golden Azuki Milk Tea with no sugar and no ice. I love azuki and milk tea, and this choice is great for people with weak stomachs and poor circulation. Koi is not well-known in Japan, but it's very popular overseas with many stores. I first tried it when I was a sophomore in high school. It's nostalgic. I think the Japanese-exclusive azuki milk tea is really delicious. I want to drink it every day. Recently, they have been selling sweet potato milk tea as well. I'm already planning my next visit.

Tokyo Trip Part 1: Harajuku. The tapioca shops are still booming in Harajuku. There was one with red beans in it. My child chose that one. I went for a simple milk tea. It's been a while since I had that chewy texture. The red beans gave me a bit of a strange feeling. When it comes to tapioca, I think I prefer milk tea. I like red beans, so I thought maybe I'd like to eat them as they are. Oh, it might have been too sweet. By the way, I'm not sure how much I should chew tapioca...

A few days ago, I visited this newly opened place. There was a line sometimes, but this time I got lucky and didn't have to wait. I ordered a Passion Fruit Yakult juice, and they asked if I wanted tapioca or nata de coco as toppings. I thought it was included by default, but it was actually an additional charge. I chose both toppings and it made the texture quite busy. The tapioca was chewy, nata de coco was jelly-like, and the passion fruit seeds were crunchy. It was a bit overwhelming. Maybe next time I'll skip the toppings for the passion fruit flavor. The taste was delicious though! You can adjust the sweetness and ice level. There is no seating area. Also, they only accept cash for now.
