Lunch with stone-grilled cheese tteokgalbi bowl. 900 yen. Lunch comes with seaweed soup, salad, kimchi, and boiled egg, which is very generous! Tea is also included, corn tea, a nice touch. It's a bit light, though. The main dish, stone-grilled cheese tteokgalbi bowl, is sweet and savory with a hint of saltiness, and the mildness of the cheese. The aftertaste gradually becomes spicier, and it's quite hot, so you end up sweating while eating. The portion is quite generous, so towards the end, you might crave some flavor variation, a luxurious dilemma. The slight oiliness might be a concern. The side dish of boiled egg has a strong flavor with the seasoning and sesame, and it's a taste that could become addictive. The salad feels a bit dry, but it's good to have some vegetables in the menu. The kimchi is quite spicy, a bit salty, so it might be tough to eat alone without rice or stew. The daily lunch special is 50 yen off, so the stone-grilled cheese tteokgalbi bowl on Thursdays is 850 yen, a great deal! Visiting at 12:30 on weekdays, you can barely make it in time to get the last tteokgalbi bowl, which is very popular. There are almost no customers, so you have to aim for lunch specifically, or you might miss out. Also, lunch is cash only, so be careful.

There are many Korean restaurants in May 2023, but I feel like there aren't that many that serve Takkal Mari properly. That's just my personal opinion, so please don't take offense. I came to this restaurant because I wanted to eat Takkal Mari. We had made a reservation, so we didn't have to worry about seating and headed to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant, it felt more spacious than I had imagined. The staff seemed to be Korean, and our companions were conversing in Korean... come to think of it, we made the reservation in Korean too. We quickly ordered the Takkal Mari we came for! We also ordered a dish of spicy stir-fried squid with a rich flavor (I don't remember the name of the dish), and we had seafood pancake as our main dish. We ate it with kimchi and spicy squid as side dishes. Finally, the star of the show appeared! The staff took care of a certain process, so we didn't have much to do. Once it was ready, we just had to eat it. It's here! I will start with the chicken. It's delicious, tender, and truly satisfying! Without a doubt, it was "mashissoyo," and the choice of this restaurant was definitely the right one. As for the cold noodles at the end? Not needed, not needed. My stomach was satisfied with the Takkal Mari. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant for lunch with people from the company. It was cold and windy outside, so I didn't feel like going out, but I endured and visited. I tried the Pure Tofu Ramen with rice for 1000 yen for the first time, and it was delicious! As a ramen lover, I felt it was similar to Chuka Soba. It's great that it comes with kimchi! Even though the ramen is spicy, the idea of having kimchi separately is good! I will definitely order it again!

I visited the company with colleagues for lunch. Luckily, there was a table available and I was able to sit down. I ordered the Bulgogi Tofu Stew for 900 yen. The stew was moderately spicy and delicious, but it was too hot for me as I have a sensitive tongue. I ended up burning my tongue at the beginning but managed to finish the meal. I struggle with dishes served in sturdy hot containers as the heat doesn't dissipate quickly. It's tasty though!

This was my first visit to this Korean restaurant. It was the first time I had been to a place where various side dishes weren't served. The Samgyupsal wasn't as thickly cut as I had expected. The Seafood Cheese Jeon felt a bit mushy. I prefer a crispy and chewy texture, so it was a bit different. Overall, I didn't have a good impression of the service. When I tried to change the table arrangement because it was inconvenient, it was fixed back to its original position. When I asked for the receipt, I was told "No!" The restaurant looked nice, but I won't be going back.

On this day, I had plans at Shin-Nihonbashi station with a friend for another matter, so we searched for a nearby restaurant. The entrance to this restaurant was a bit hard to find. We ended up going back and forth while looking at the map. I chose this place because it was close to where we needed to be and I was craving Tteokbokki, which I've been into lately. I was a bit worried because the heart in the menu photos looked suspicious. However, the food turned out to be delicious. The complimentary dish was Korean seaweed, which I personally enjoyed more than kimchi. The Tteokbokki was made with care by the staff, so they kindly asked us not to add ingredients on our own! I got scolded for adding noodles without permission, haha. By the way, I actually liked the character of the staff member. I think he just wanted us to enjoy the food! We also ordered Chapchae, which I didn't know much about, so I can't give an accurate review, but it was also tasty. The spacious seating and the not-so-crowded atmosphere made us stay longer than planned.

Arrived a little after 12:10 and was able to enter without waiting as some customers were leaving. The restaurant was almost full. I ordered the seafood tofu stew from the lunch menu under the stairs. I asked for it to be made spicy and they kindly obliged. It was served in less than 10 minutes, bubbling hot and quite delicious. The seafood flavor was not as strong as in more expensive restaurants, but in terms of cost performance, I was satisfied. The spiciness level was around 1.4 on the spiciness scale. The radish simmered dish was tasty, and I liked the garlic-flavored kimchi. The salad portion was quite generous. The staff's service was good, and I would like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal!

After 12 o'clock, the seats quickly filled up.【Menu】Stone bibimbap ¥900. The daily lunch special is ¥50 off the regular price!【Food】Salad, soup, side dishes, and kimchi are included. For bibimbap, mix well with gochujang. Is bibimbap a dish where you season it yourself? Is the lack of saltiness my fault? Personally, I prefer stone bibimbap with a bit of crispy rice.【Service】The staff were busy but moved quickly. It only took about 5 minutes from ordering to serving.【Others】After watching a Korean drama, I always crave Korean food. It was a chilly day, so I felt warm and cozy after eating!

Located in a side street next to the Honjin room on Bank of Japan Street, is the Tandoor Maru at the second floor of SETOUCHI Lemon Restaurant. It's about diagonally across from the yakitori stew Tsuruta. On this day, as I was looking around to have lunch somewhere in this alley, a group of women who had just finished their lunch came down from the second floor of Tandoor Maru. One of them said, "It was delicious♪," so I thought since a table had just opened up, I would go to the second floor. Be careful not to hit your head as the ceiling gets lower on the stairs. The restaurant has about 30 table seats and a private room in the back right. I sat at the table next to a group of four women. Lunch menu starts from 850 yen. There is also a menu that is 50 yen off on the daily special. I chose the Pure Tofu Ra-men (900 yen). You can add rice for an additional 50 yen, but I decided to wait and see. The meal comes with salad, Chinese cabbage kimchi, and pickled radish namul. The Pure Tofu Ra-men is a red soup with large white tofu. It contains clams, scallops, oysters, shrimp, shimeji mushrooms, onions, green onions, and more. The curly thin noodles are well coated with the soup. The soup, rich with the umami of seafood, is delicious. I wondered if I needed the rice, but before I knew it, I had finished the soup while slurping it up. It warmed me up.

I went to lunch with my colleagues at a company on a regular day! We went to "Tokudaimon Takkamari" This restaurant is a popular place that gets crowded during lunchtime! It was just past 12 o'clock in the afternoon! The inside of the restaurant was full, but we managed to find seats! We ordered the Pure Tofu Ramen for ¥900. A few minutes later, it arrived! The ramen! It looked spicy with its red color, but it had a gentle spiciness! Even though I'm not good with spicy food, I was able to eat it. The seafood sundubu had noodles in it, and the clam and shrimp broth mixed well with the noodles. It was delicious! Sundubu goes well with noodles! The ramen is full of tofu, vegetables, and other ingredients, so one bowl is satisfying! Thank you for the meal!

When I visited Nihonbashi, my mother wanted to eat Takkalmar, so we went to this nearby restaurant. We ordered a set of kimchi and namul, and Takkalmar. The appetizer was Korean seaweed. The kimchi was slightly sweet, which even children could eat. I prefer it a bit spicier though. The pot contained a whole chicken, cute heart-shaped potatoes, leeks, green onions, and rice cakes, which the staff cut for us once it boiled. The sauce was pre-made, which my mother seemed dissatisfied with. Apparently, in Korea, you blend vinegar, soy sauce, mustard, and chili pepper to make your own sauce. I found the sauce provided to be delicious enough. Lastly, we added noodles called Kalguksu to finish the meal. I was too full to eat much of it, but it was very tasty. However, one whole chicken for two women was too much.

New Year's party. A fun night with friends. We went to "Dongdaemun Takkalmaru Kanda Store", a Korean restaurant. Let's eat Takkalmaru! The main dish is their proud course with the famous "Takkalmaru (Korean-style hot pot)". [1] Assorted Kimchi [2] Assorted Namul [3] Chorogi Salad [4] Beef and Vegetable Japchae [5] Jeon (A) Kimchi Jeon and (B) Seafood Jeon half & half [6] Takkalmaru [7] Korean fresh noodles or porridge [8] Dessert (Ice cream) Total: 4000 yen (from the HP menu) First, cheers with draft beer. Kimchi goes well with beer. Japchae also goes well with beer. And then the main Takkalmaru. It's garlicky but light broth. The chicken is delicious. Please give me some Makgeolli. I chose the daily lunch special, which was stone-grilled cheese dakgalbi without hesitation! The daily special was 100 yen off, so it cost 800 yen. It came with seaweed soup, tofu, salad, and kimchi (which was delicious!). The quality for this price was excellent. I usually eat the seafood stew here, and it is also very tasty with flavorful broth.

During lunchtime, the restaurant is always quite crowded. It's not a place where you can eat quietly. However, the Bulgogi Harumaki Bibimbap and Cheese Dakgalbi are delicious. The gochujang is not too spicy and sweet, making it tasty. I always end up eating until I'm full, but it's so delicious that I can't help it. I would be even happier if it were 100 yen cheaper.
