I went to THEMOON, a French restaurant in Roppongi Hills, after deciding to take a sudden day off. I had been searching for a restaurant the night before, but couldn't find any available reservations. However, when I searched on Tabelog in the morning, I easily found this restaurant. The restaurant is located on the same floor as the observation deck, and you can purchase a ticket for the elevator to the restaurant. The view from the 52nd floor was amazing, with Tokyo Tower standing prominently in front of us. I chose the 4,000 yen course for lunch, which included delicious dishes like foie gras and Tasmanian salmon. The main course was a ballotine of Hachiken chicken from Kochi Prefecture, which was also exquisite. For dessert, I had a plate with apple sorbet, vanilla siboust, and citrus jelly, topped with frozen olive oil and shiso powder. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I highly recommend it for a special occasion or a date night.

I ordered the MOONLight High Tea which came with a choice of main dish and dessert for 15,700 yen. We went on a Sunday night at 6 pm with a guaranteed window seat. The restaurant is located on the top floor of Roppongi Hills, offering a fantastic view from 250 meters above ground. The atmosphere is stylish and perfect for a date. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but it's a great place to enjoy after visiting the art museum. I recommend the window seat, even though it comes at a higher price.
The high tea was a delight to behold when it arrived, and the view combined with the tea was stunning. The portions seemed generous at first glance, but each item was small and easy to finish. My favorites were the chicken liver pate eclair and the morel mushroom cake. I chose the fish of the day for the main dish and a Charlotte for dessert. The Charlotte was beautifully presented and colorful, while the Mont Blanc dessert with a butterfly on top was too cute!
[Appetizer Stand]
- White asparagus blancmange
- Chicken liver pate eclair
- Princess sazae bourguignon with pastis flavor
- Country-style pate and bread
- Fried young ayu with semolina flour
- Cherry shrimp dumplings with Americaine sauce
- Homemade fermented vegetable assortment
- Smoked salmon mousse in pie form
- Soft-boiled egg with truffle
- Lamb Navarin-style croquette with mint sauce
- Morel and trumpet mushroom cake

A French restaurant located on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Building. I enjoyed dinner while gazing at the city night view. Every dish was delicious, with ingredients well utilized. It wasn't fully booked, but there were customers who didn't have a reservation and were turned away. I recommend making a reservation before visiting.

I visited on a weekday for the free-flow option. We were three women seated on a half-circle sofa, which was very comfortable and allowed us to relax. Although there were no window seats for the free-flow, we could still enjoy the view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The timing for refills during the free-flow was good, and the staff were friendly and made our time there pleasant. The variety of appetizers was good and just the right amount. It's not easy to find friends available on weekdays, but I would definitely like to visit this place again.

I made a reservation for lunch on a regular day and used it. The restaurant was empty, so I could enjoy my meal leisurely. I ordered the lightest lunch course. It started with a soft-boiled egg, mashed potatoes, and truffle in a glass, followed by tuna wrapped in pastry for the appetizer, Provencal-style Hinai-jidori chicken for the main course, and peach mille-feuille for dessert. The tuna had a slightly noticeable sinew, but it was an interesting dish wrapped in crispy pastry like a spring roll. The chicken for the main course had thick skin and filled me up. The sauce was elaborate and delicious. The dessert was as delicious as it looked! Each dish was meticulously arranged, and I felt very elegant. Many people were enjoying the afternoon tea served on a high stand. The staff were polite and provided a gentle service, making my time there very pleasant. The view from the high floor, where Tokyo Tower looked small, was also amazing. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a special occasion. The view is amazing! Located on the 52nd floor, you need to get a ticket for the private elevator at the reception for the art museum. It might be a bit confusing to find your way, but keep trying. The tables are well spaced out, so you can relax and enjoy your time. The course menu costs around 5,000 yen for 4 dishes. Started with a glass of rosé sparkling wine for 1,200 yen. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful and the portion size is just right for lunch. The timing of the dishes being served is also good. Afternoon tea seems to be popular, and there are also options for the bar hours, so I would like to come back next time to enjoy this while looking at the night view! This place is like buying time, and if you think of it that way, you can have a luxurious and satisfying time.

It was a wonderful evening enjoying the beautiful night view, a very elegant moment. The table setting was also very nice! The food and drinks were delicious. The portion size was a bit small, but with free-flowing drinks included, I think 7,000 yen is quite reasonable.

I visited the "Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea" for the second time, following last year's visit. This time, I opted for the High Tea with free-flowing drinks. I booked through a Time Sale on One Harmony for a discounted price of 5,600 yen. The restaurant is located next to the observation deck in Roppongi Hills, known for its views. Despite concerns about the typhoon, everything turned out fine. I was able to enjoy the night view to some extent.

Located on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, this restaurant offers dining with a view of Tokyo at an altitude of 250m. (An additional charge of 500 yen is required if you do not have an observation deck ticket)
The interior is decorated with plenty of plants, creating a calming forest-like atmosphere in the sky.
I tried the weekday limited lunch course. The dish served in a glass as a little something to start had a rich aroma of truffles and was like a thick soup with mashed potatoes and eggs as soon as it arrived at the table. The marinated tuna came with grated yam underneath, making it a salad-like dish. The chicken had a strong lemon flavor that I really enjoyed, perfect for those who love lemons. Two types of bread were served, both delicious. The blancmange dessert with coconut ice cream and fluffy mango mousse was a perfect combination, and the fruits and jelly added a refreshing touch to cleanse the palate. All the dishes were delicious, and the staff were very kind, so I was very satisfied. I ended up staying longer than planned chatting with my friends, but the staff were considerate and made us feel relaxed.

Located on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, this elegant space offers a breathtaking view where you can see both Tokyo Tower and Skytree. The MOONLight High Tea -2023 Summer experience was luxurious, with high-quality ingredients and flavors. It felt more like enjoying a rich apéritif rather than a dinner. My favorite was the Princess Turban Shell Bourguignon. I forgot to take photos, but the Angus beef was tender and delicious, especially when paired with wine. It was a lovely place to savor the essence of Roppongi.

To celebrate a birthday, we went to a restaurant with a view of the night sky on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills! We could see Tokyo Tower and Skytree well! During this time of year, we could also see multiple fireworks in the Sumida River area. The food was delicious too. Thank you for the meal!

I chose the restaurant over the cafe when art museums and events were held at Roppongi Hills. Today, I had an afternoon tea dinner with free flow. It was just in time for the Disney immersive experience, so I went there. It was good that I made a reservation. I got a discount and enjoyed all-you-can-drink with a great view while eating delicious food.

We went on a date to this place. It's a course menu. The atmosphere is nice, you can see both Tokyo Tower and Skytree, and there are lights and plants hanging from above, which is stylish. The most delicious dish was the mango and seasonal fruit blancmange! I want to try making it at home. ✨

I stopped by at THE MOON café at the Roppongi Hills Art Museum ☕️ It was a nice break after walking around quite a bit. There were a few people having afternoon tea around me. I decided to order a cake set to share with my partner, as just coffee seemed a bit lacking. The view overlooking Tokyo was refreshing. The service from the staff was also good. #RoppongiHillsObservatory #RoppongiCafe #RoppongiHillsArtMuseum #RewardForTiredFeet #GreatService #coffee

You shouldn't think that expensive means delicious. The appetizer looked a bit gross as it seemed like swallowing a whole egg, both my friend and I didn't like it. The tuna fritters were really delicious. The soup had vanilla ice cream in it, which I personally didn't like. The soup itself was tasty without any strong flavors. The main dish had 30-40% fat which made it hard to eat. The dessert had a simple and easy-to-eat flavor. It felt a bit overpriced. We had reserved a table by the window, but we wished we were seated further inside instead of near the entrance. The view was nice, but if you want to see the night view, it's better to check the sunset time beforehand.

A summer-themed afternoon tea set featuring an abundance of fruits such as mango, banana, and melon, beautifully arranged on a sunflower decorated stand. For my birthday celebration, I convinced my husband to take me to a museum I had been curious about, followed by an afternoon tea (which was actually my first time!). We enjoyed the casual restaurant on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills, where we could admire the Tokyo skyline. We ordered the Rose Moon and Rainy Moon cocktails, which were part of the rose-themed concept. After a short wait, a cute 6-tiered stand arrived, and the server sprayed a mist of rose scent for a lovely touch. There were 8 types of sweets and 4 meal options. As we savored each item, they were surprisingly delicious, and we ended up quite full. The theme changes with the seasons, adding to the special experience. It was a delightful and elegant moment!

The customer service was extremely polite and left a favorable impression. The quality of the food did not disappoint, matching the great view and location. I had the lunch course, which was enjoyable from the appetizer to the main dish. The plating was visually appealing and the dishes were served with a casual yet lovely touch. The attention to detail was evident throughout. The use of seasonal vegetables in their natural flavors or incorporated into mousses and sauces provided a variety of tastes to savor. Whether with close friends or loved ones, this restaurant offers a relaxing lunch experience with a stunning view in the heart of the city.

I was taken to this restaurant for my birthday celebration! The night view was beautiful and the restaurant was very elegant. All the food was delicious, but the salmon in particular had a sweet taste that I really liked! I would love to visit again on a clear night to enjoy the night view. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The view from the 52nd floor is amazing. Luckily, I was able to sit by the window and enjoy the scenery. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also lovely, with a beautiful stand of six roses arranged. The drinks are plentiful, and the staff is quick to refill them when they run out. It was a elegant and wonderful experience.
