[Tiger Gyoza Kaikan] @Shibuya, Tokyo, a short walk from Shibuya Station.
- Mapo Tofu and Pan-Fried Gyoza Set ¥1000
This restaurant has a retro atmosphere where you can enjoy a wide variety of gyoza. They offer pan-fried gyoza, boiled gyoza, bite-sized gyoza, as well as beef gyoza, vegetarian gyoza, tantanmen gyoza, black vinegar gyoza, and more. The set I ordered was a lunch set, which came with rice, soup, and pickled vegetables in addition to the main dishes. Both the gyoza and mapo tofu had an authentic taste, and it's great value for the price! If you're interested, be sure to check it out! Thank you for reading until the end. I love dumplings, so I went with a friend to try different kinds of dumplings! Not only the dumplings, but other dishes were also delicious. We tried a variety of dumplings, and while the regular ones were tasty, I personally liked the ones with shiso leaves and the tomato dumplings because they were easy to eat and delicious.

I wanted to try various types of dumplings, so I chose this place! And it was the perfect choice!! There were so many different types of dumplings that I couldn't finish them all. Of course, the menu had other great options as well. I'm glad I chose this restaurant! I haven't tried all the types of dumplings yet, so I definitely want to go back (lol). The large dumplings with shiso as an accent were delicious and I could eat them endlessly. ✨

The drinks gave off a slightly expensive impression. They had a wide selection of beers, including craft beers and Tsingtao beer, with about 30 types to choose from, making it fun to try different ones! There were also many varieties of dumplings, whether fried, steamed, or boiled, all of them were delicious!

On Sunday in Shibuya at 1:30 PM, it's bustling just like on weekdays. I was looking for a quiet place to have a meal alone, and I found one. The restaurant is spacious and not too crowded. They offer affordable set meals and noodles, but I opted for a beer with "big dumplings" and mapo tofu for ¥2050. The beer servings are small, which is perfect for slowly enjoying it. The dumplings were average, but the mapo tofu was delicious. However, it wasn't served piping hot, which was a bit disappointing. I wonder if something other than the tofu was frozen? It's unclear if the dishes are freshly made by a skilled chef in the kitchen. Despite these concerns, the food was tasty. The menu was labeled as "WEEKEND MENU."

I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time. I went around 1pm but it was full. I had the sweet and sour pork with pineapple and it was delicious. Next time, I want to try the tantanmen without soup. I will definitely go back. Thank you very much.

The spacious interior with high ceilings gives off an exotic restaurant vibe. The staff are efficient and friendly, making it a comfortable place to dine. Today, I had a hard time deciding but ended up ordering the sesame chicken and dumplings set. It was quite filling but delicious! The set meal was also very generous in portion. It's no wonder this place is popular among young men. Overall, the food was delicious.

I went to Tiger Gyoza at Benihora Gyoza Bo. Recently, gyoza has become popular again for me, so I decided to try Tiger Gyoza, known for their Benihora Gyoza Bo. The restaurant is located in the backstreets of Shibuya, and it is probably the highest-rated restaurant on Tabelog. I arrived at 6 pm when they opened and was the first customer. The interior of the restaurant had a trendy Chinese-Hawaiian fusion vibe, and I was seated at a table. I ordered a beer, which turned out to be Asahi beer. The portion was a bit small, but I went ahead and ordered all types of gyoza, as well as black pork shumai. The service was quite fast. The first gyoza I tried was the spicy Szechuan gyoza, but it seemed like they had mistakenly boiled the pan-fried gyoza? It felt like maybe this is what happens when a restaurant becomes a chain. The spinach water gyoza, on the other hand, was delicious! The skin was chewy and perfect. It made me wonder if there are handmade gyoza and factory-made gyoza in the restaurant. The "drooling chicken" was a bit different from the authentic version, with a saucy topping. The chicken was a bit dry from being cooked too much. The shrimp in the spring rolls was tasty, but the "five ingredients" seemed like it was pre-made. I was waiting for the shumai, but there was confusion in the kitchen. Finally, the shrimp gyoza arrived, but it turned out to be the shumai. The staff had made a mistake. After waiting for 15 minutes, the black pork shumai arrived, but to my surprise, there was no meat inside, just sticky rice. It turned out they had run out of the original shumai and served me sticky rice shumai instead. I couldn't eat it and decided to pay the bill. Overall, it was a learning experience. Thank you for the meal.

This shop is perfect for those looking to kill some time during the day with a light snack and a beer. Located in the back of Shibuya Center Street, the shop is not crowded even during lunchtime and it's too early for dinner, creating a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the "Large Gyoza" which had shiso leaves mixed in, making it juicy yet refreshing. It's amazing how adding shiso leaves to a meat dish can suddenly make it feel so refreshing. The variety of beers available is enjoyable to choose from. (Although I ended up being too timid to try something unusual...)

For lunch today, I went to Tiger Gyoza Hall in Udagawacho, Shibuya. I ordered the basic "Standard Gyoza Set with 8 pieces for 900 yen including tax" at the gyoza and Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor called Gyoza Kaikan. The restaurant was almost full during lunch on a weekday. The gyoza were small but quite juicy and tasty. They are easy to eat in one bite. The price is reasonable at 800 yen for 6 gyoza. Good value for money. Thank you for the meal.

I have used this restaurant for lunch several times. It's a spacious place for Shibuya, so I can often find a seat even during lunchtime. One of my favorites to order is the stir-fried pork belly with cabbage set meal. I like the slightly spicy sweet bean sauce flavor. My companion ordered the dumpling set meal, and the dumplings were quite large with a chewy skin. It seemed very satisfying to eat.

Hi everyone, this is Adaringurume. Recently, I've been hearing more and more people say things like, "I saw it on Shibuya Gourmet!" It makes me really happy. I will continue to work hard to pursue delicious Shibuya area gourmet. Today, I want to introduce a trendy and delicious Chinese restaurant in Shibuya where you can casually boast about. The name of the place is Tiger Gyoza Kaikan. They offer a variety of beers from around the world, and you can enjoy endless gyoza and Chinese cuisine. My recommendations are the "Plump Shrimp Mayo" and the "Vegetarian Gyoza." Even if you're short on money, feeling unwell, or pressed for time, make sure to try these two dishes. You won't regret it, they are 190% delicious. The restaurant is located in Udagawacho, a bit further into Center-gai, where you can relax and enjoy a quick drink. I will continue to work on creating posts and strategies, even though it's difficult to post on weekdays. I will do my best to reach 10,000 followers.

The restaurant we visited with three people was spacious and had a cozy atmosphere. The foreign staff made a few mistakes with our orders, but they seemed to be trying their best and were very friendly, so we looked at it with warm eyes. We ordered dumplings (classic, with leeks and ponzu sauce, beef tongue), xiaolongbao, oil-drizzled chicken, chilled cucumber, tuna carpaccio, Qingdao beer, and Tiger beer. The total came to 9000 yen for the three of us, which was a good value for money. The food was delicious, so it's definitely worth a visit!

This is a thriving restaurant. I visited here with acquaintances for our regular meal gathering. We ordered various dumplings, all of which were delicious. The shrimp lettuce fried rice was also tasty. The almond jelly had a nice aroma. On this day, there was only one female staff member serving, with one person in the kitchen and what seemed to be the manager, totaling three staff members. With only three staff members, the restaurant was clearly struggling to keep up. There were two order mistakes.

I met up with a college senior who was back in Japan from New York and we decided to go out for dinner. I initially thought of going for sushi, but she mentioned that she didn't like raw fish, so I searched for a dumpling restaurant and found this place by chance. I made a reservation online about a week in advance. The restaurant is located about a 7-minute walk from Shibuya Station, at the entrance of the Okushibu area. The interior is spacious with a high ceiling and a design that gives an open feeling. There is a large tiger painted on the wall, which is also the name of the restaurant. While there are many small bistros and standing bars in the Okushibu area, this place stands out with a wide variety of menu options. The staff, especially the friendly female waitstaff, welcomed us and we sat at a table. Here is what we ordered:
- Drinks (craft beer, highball, etc.)
- Jellyfish cold dish with chili oil
- Addictive grilled dumplings
- Black vinegar spicy dumplings
- Yuzu onion sauce dumplings
- Stir-fried shrimp and broccoli
- Seafood ankake fried rice
- Crab and lettuce fried rice
The food was delicious, with a good balance of flavors and a generous portion size. The restaurant offers a wide range of options from appetizers to meat dishes and even desserts. The prices were reasonable, and we left feeling satisfied. The restaurant is recommended for its authentic Chinese cuisine that is tailored to suit Japanese tastes. It is a great place for lunch or dinner with a variety of options at affordable prices.

I'm thirsty! How about some tea? No, when I'm this thirsty, it's time for a delicious beer! I walked around the building with the words "Udagawa Beer Hall" on the wall that I saw earlier. Huh? It's not there. I googled it and found out that it's now a dumpling restaurant. Since I can still have beer, let's go in here. It's a spacious, classic-looking restaurant. The staff seems tired and lacking energy. The draft beer I ordered was Asahi Dry Premium Enrichment (800 yen). It's crisp and dry with a good aroma. It's delicious, but I was hoping for a larger glass. As a fun choice, I ordered the Black Beef Tongue Dumplings. The true identity of the black skin's color remains a mystery. The filling is definitely beef tongue, with a unique chewy texture, making it a tasty dumpling. The thick, chewy skin is also nice. As it's just an appetizer before dinner, I enjoyed it with a drink and then left. I don't feel like cooking dinner when I'm full, you know.

Located slightly off the bustling restaurant district of Shibuya, this place was surprisingly quiet. The server referred to the dish as "Pakuchi Tanmen" (cilantro sesame noodles) and was attentive, constantly refilling my water. The dish had a strong sweetness to it, but as the herbs melted and spread, the flavors gradually changed. I found myself wanting a hint of lemon flavor, so I added some vinegar for a fun twist.

- Stayed on a Saturday around 5 pm. There were only two groups of customers, including us, which made us worried.
- The atmosphere is like a hidden gem in the backstreets of Shibuya. The restaurant is spacious but with few people. The staff seemed unmotivated and there was a lack of energy.
- We ordered various dishes besides dumplings since it's a Chinese restaurant, but overall, it was expensive. The taste was average, like typical Chinese food made by Japanese. The portions were generally small. Even the beer was pricey, starting from 700 yen for a glass, which didn't seem like prices you'd expect at a Chinese restaurant.

I had never been to "Tiger Gyoza Kaikan" for lunch, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor and has large windows, making it bright and spacious. Even though I was alone, I was seated at a table for 4 people. For lunch, they offer a variety of noodles, stir-fries, gyoza, and a weekly special menu. I was torn between choices but ended up ordering the gyoza set, which is one of their specialties. Lunch prices range from around 800 yen to 1,000 yen. You can also order gyoza and other items separately. I ordered the Spicy Gyoza Set (8 pieces for 850 yen) and an iced coffee for 200 yen, bringing the total to 1,050 yen. The gyoza set arrived after a short wait. I asked for a smaller portion of rice. The egg soup had a gentle flavor and was delicious. The gyoza had a generous amount of spicy sauce, making it look very spicy! It was hard to tell if the gyoza was pan-fried or boiled, as the spicy sauce was quite prominent. It had green onions, garlic chives, and nuts, but it was not extremely spicy, just a bit spicy. The flavor was enhanced by the presence of Sichuan pepper, and it went well with the rice. I ordered an iced coffee for 200 yen, and it was a nice way to relax. I would like to try other items on the menu next time. I was able to pay using Merpay.
