During the Bon holiday, instead of going back to my hometown, I went on a yakiniku date in Roppongi ❤ We went to "PONGA PREMIUM," where you can enjoy delicious yakiniku in a luxurious space with private seats and private rooms that offer a view of Tokyo Tower. We started with Kirin Ichiban Shibori Premium (draft beer) for a toast. We ordered dishes a la carte based on our cravings. - Assorted Kimchi (3 types) - Assorted Namul (5 types) Both were homemade, and the white kimchi was especially delicious. - Thick-cut Assorted Meat (on the visit day, thick-cut Harami, Lamp, Special Filet, Tongue Steak) Each bite was filled with juiciness! The staff cooked and served each dish one by one, so we could enjoy them at the best state. With 2 pieces of each, it was perfect for people like us who wanted to try various types! - Fresh Liver It was very fresh, as it was a carefully selected ingredient of the day. We quickly seared it and dipped it in sesame oil and salt. It was tender, sweet, and made me feel energized. - Aomori Garlic Oil The garlic, slowly heated in sesame oil, had a crispy surface and a soft inside, like a sweet potato. - Korean Avocado and Tomato Salad It was a refreshing palate cleanser, with Korean seaweed adding a nice accent. - Special Kalbi, Mushrooms, and Reduced Pesticide Lettuce Set (with Miso, Flavored Green Onion, Garlic Oil) The vegetables were directly delivered from a contracted farm. I love perilla seeds, so I was delighted. It was a great deal with plenty of green onions and garlic oil. The Kalbi was also delicious. When grilling the mushrooms, place them with the gills facing up and wait patiently for the mushroom essence to come out without rushing. - Ichibo It is a rare lean meat selection. Even though it was lean (thigh), it had a moderate marbling, similar to sirloin. We dipped it in egg, and it didn't require much chewing. It had a deep flavor. - Upper Mino You can choose between salt and sauce, and the crunchy texture was pleasant. The staff proactively replaced the grill, and their consideration for plates and chopsticks made it stress-free. - Fresh Grapefruit Sour, Fresh Lemon Highball, Red Wine (by the glass) We also had these. - Half Cold Noodles, Tail Soup (served individually in a bowl) Both were flavorful but not heavy, and they settled smoothly in our stomachs even when we were full. For dessert, we had Homemade Almond Tofu and Coffee Jelly, both of which were elegant and delicious. There were also gelato, vanilla ice cream, and affogato available. After the meal, we were offered green tea (cold) or coffee as a service, and I chose green tea. The sky was bright when we entered, but by the time we left, the sun had set, and the night view was beautiful. The restaurant is located on the 9th floor of GEMS Roppongi, and there was a beautiful projection mapping, so if you visit at night, be sure to check it out. There is an elevator hall beyond the automatic door. Highly recommended for dates, girls' nights out, or when you want to prioritize both taste and atmosphere! I would love to go there again.
