Second visit in about half a year. When craving delicious sushi in Roppongi, this place is a reliable choice without hesitation. Couldn't get a regular table this time, but was able to make a reservation the day before. It's amazing that it's so delicious, convenient, and easy to reserve. This is my second visit, so I'll keep the review short. The appetizers are tasty, but the sushi is the best. I could eat it all day. The staff are all friendly, and it was an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

I had incredibly delicious sushi starting from the course's beginning to the end that made my knees weak, even though I couldn't take photos of the hand-delivered sushi. Favorites included: - Finely chopped squid with a fluffy texture that was irresistible - Medium fatty tuna that packed a rich punch before smoothly disappearing, leaving a lingering aroma - Summer yellowtail that spread the intense flavor of the fish delicately rather than through fat, bringing pure bliss. Surprises that left me speechless: - Horse mackerel that not only tasted great but also made me question, "Is this really horse mackerel?" - Gizzard shad with an amazing balance between the seared gizzard shad and the sushi rice, making me wish I could eat about five more pieces. The chef served the sushi with white and red vinegar rice according to the toppings and was very friendly, making the restaurant very welcoming.

I visited with two overseas guests on a weekday with a total of three people. There are two tables separated by curtains resembling semi-private rooms (each for 4 people), and about 10 counter seats. The sushi was very delicious, especially the otoro served at the beginning and the toro-kama served towards the end. There was a knowledgeable sommelier who spoke English, and our guests were very pleased. Thank you very much.

My friend and I sat at a table seat. We enjoyed delicious sushi dishes in a great atmosphere. There was a wide variety of sake, all of which paired perfectly with the sushi. The head chef was very friendly, and our conversation was enjoyable. Next time, we will make a reservation at the counter. Budget: 35,000 yen per person (including drinks).

A few years ago, I heard about aged sushi on TV or the internet and had been wanting to visit this restaurant. It seems that aging sushi is not a rare technique anymore, and it is served in certain restaurants, but this was my first experience, I think. Honestly, I can't clearly explain the difference between aged sushi and regular sushi, but it had a strong umami flavor with a slightly unique aroma. I liked it, but it might be a matter of personal preference. Regardless, I was impressed by the meticulous work supported by the exceptional skills of the artisan. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. The location is also good.

I had made a reservation at Sushi Edomae Su Suitsu Table Check, but I accidentally got the timing wrong. Despite the rush, they welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed some tea while chatting with our companions when the head chef overheard us and added some shinko to our order. It seems the market season for shinko has started early, and since my partner is a fan, we requested it. The meal included kohada, chutoro, tai, squid, shinko, sweet shrimp, marinated tuna, otoro, sea urchin, black snapper, conger eel, negitoro roll, miso soup, and warabi mochi. The shinko was delicious, prompting us to order more, along with some squid sushi seasoned with kabosu and salt, which was superb. It was fun that the vinegar used in the rice varied depending on the topping. The head chef was friendly, making it a very cozy place to dine. I didn't take photos of everything, but it was my first time visiting for a weekday lunch. The lunch didn't include small dishes, it went straight to sushi. Even though it was a weekday, the counter was full. There were many foreign customers as well. They had a sommelier who was particular about the glass of champagne and wine. Each sushi was carefully made, and the rice was separated by red and white depending on the topping.

The sushi was all delicious, and they were able to prepare seasonal fish in a tasty way. They even offered a comparison of sea urchin, and the last miso soup was rich and very good. However, I ordered a wine and sake pairing, but it was not good. The pairing with the ingredients was not done in time. They told me to try it with the ingredients, but by then I had already eaten them. Maybe it's difficult because there are private rooms, but I would like them to improve the coordination between the head chef and the sommelier.

Having sushi in Nishi-Azabu on a hot summer day at lunchtime. I enjoyed delicious nigiri in front of the head chef at the almost center of the large counter. Started with a draft beer for survival. Omakase nigiri included: Higoishimachi's karei, Kumamoto's koboshi, seared scallop, aged 22kg ara from Kagoshima, golden eye snapper from Choshi, bigfin reef squid from Mie, striped shrimp from Masuhou, horse mackerel from Shimane Hamada, medium fatty tuna, seared blackthroat seaperch, horse dung from Rebun, conger eel, torotaku tamago, and miso soup, totaling 13 pieces. They didn't have new season fish yet due to the high price. For dessert, vanilla ice cream. The lighting on the cutting board was just right, making the ingredients look even more beautiful and delicious. The balance between the ingredients and shari was to my liking. The craftsmanship on the ingredients was also very good. It was sushi that suited me perfectly in every way.

I visited this famous restaurant in Azabu for lunch. It's a place that has even won the prestigious bronze award in the past. It's conveniently located near Roppongi Hills and has many private rooms. Of course, I sat at the counter. They adjust the ratio of red vinegar and white vinegar depending on the topping, which is appreciated. It would be nice if they could adjust the sourness depending on the fattiness of the topping. The sushi was spot on and delicious. The highlight was the nodoguro (blackthroat sea perch) sushi, which was superbly crafted. The head chef's knife skills were amazing, with precise and rapid movements, further enhancing the perfection of the sushi. It was a wonderful dining experience that definitely calls for a repeat visit.

This restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from Roppongi Station. I made a reservation to have lunch with a friend and visited. Since there are many foreign customers and it tends to be crowded, it's better to make a reservation. The omakase course costs 15,000 yen and includes various dishes like sea bream, scallops, squid, horse mackerel, tuna, shrimp, sea urchin, blackthroat seaperch, fatty tuna, and bonito. The meal starts with sushi rather than appetizers. I wasn't very hungry due to summer fatigue, but surprisingly, I was able to eat once I started. Everything was delicious, but personally, I preferred the sea bream and squid. The chef's service and the atmosphere of the restaurant were great, allowing us to have a pleasant time. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

It's been a while since I visited this sushi restaurant... The sushi chefs and staff have all changed... I wonder how much has changed. The sushi rice seems to have reduced quite a bit... Other than that, it's still delicious as usual. I've always loved the miso soup here, it's my favorite shrimp dashi in Tokyo. I also like that it's relatively easy to make reservations here.

When I had some business in Roppongi and felt like eating delicious sushi, I visited Sushi Tsu-san for lunch after a long time. It's located near Hills, so the location is quite good. It was delicious as always!! Personally, I loved the cute style of the conger eel sushi. It was great to have delicious sushi for lunch. I would like to visit again if I have the chance!

I was considering making a lunch reservation this time, but surprisingly, the prices had gone up a bit. Well, everything else in the world seems to be getting more expensive too! Oh well, can't be helped! More importantly, I'm looking forward to enjoying Sushi Tsu after such a long time. Let's go with enthusiasm! In the past, it used to be a 5,500 yen lunch, then it went up to 12,000 yen, and this time it's 16,500 yen! The prices are steadily increasing. It might be a good idea to come and eat here sooner rather than later! ●Starting with the Sakura course for lunch. It's so delightful! Each bite has a firm and satisfying feel to it. - Choshi's Hirame First up is Choshi's Hirame, lightly seasoned with salt. It melts in your mouth... so delicious! It's delicate but packed with flavor, and the salt gives it a nice edge. - Kumamoto's Kohada Perfectly balanced with vinegar. A sushi restaurant that serves quality shiny fish can be trusted! - Kochi's Kue Next is Kochi's Kue. It's been aged for 14 days, resulting in a rich and fatty flavor. It's tender, and the umami spreads in your mouth... so tasty! - Sakuramasu Sakuramasu. Nowadays, salmon varieties are quite common even in high-end sushi restaurants. The fatty, silky texture of this fish is delightful. I want more of this Sakuramasu! - Choshi's Kinmedai Choshi's Kinmedai. It's marinated in kelp and left to soak for about 8 hours. When you taste it, you get a subtle kelp aroma. - Swordfish Swordfish. It's lightly marinated. This swordfish has been aged for an impressive 25 days. They use the core part with remaining texture. Aging can easily go wrong, but they experimented and succeeded. The aging process pays off, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Was swordfish always this delicious? The aging process is impressive. - Botanebi Next up is my favorite, shrimp. It's fluffy and melts in your mouth with incredible flavor. It's irresistible! Shrimp is so delicious! - Marinated Tuna This marinated tuna uses the lean part of the tuna belly! When it comes to lean tuna, it's the leanest of the lean! It's a rare part that's not often served. Naturally, it's delicious. It's so impressive! - Tuna Chutoro Next is tuna again. This time it's from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture! Thanks to the hidden blade technique, it's incredibly fatty. It pairs perfectly with the red vinegar rice. So delicious! - Nodoguro Next is the grilled nodoguro with intense fat content. It's delicious, a new level of flavor. Despite the richness, it's not overpowering at all. It melts in your mouth effortlessly, leaving your mouth full of flavor. Nodoguro is truly amazing! - Uni This uni is caught in Tsushima. Today I came to Tokyo alone for a meal. I decided to relax a bit and have some sushi. Since it was a Saturday, I thought it might be difficult to make a reservation, but I was able to book a table around 8 p.m. on the day. It was my first time here, but I didn't feel out of place at all. I chose the chef's special course and the sake pairing course. I enjoyed the balance of each ingredient with the vinegared rice. I started to feel pleasantly tipsy from the sake pairing halfway through and ended up chatting with a couple from Singapore at the next table. It was fun to talk and I felt like I was being released from the grip of the pandemic. I will definitely visit again next time. (^^)

I arrived at 12 o'clock and waited for about 30 minutes until the first dish arrived. The restaurant's operations seemed a bit slow, but the service from the staff and the head chef was impeccable. I ordered the premium sushi course with a sake and wine pairing. The pairing included 8 drinks, and I got quite tipsy for lunch! The sushi ingredients were carefully prepared, and the rice had a perfect texture that crumbled in the mouth.

I recently visited Edomae Sushi Tsu-san in Roppongi for the second time after luckily securing a reservation. It's a sushi restaurant known for its aged sushi. As I mentioned in my previous review, the food is delicious, and I really like the head chef. What stood out to me this time was the ikura (salmon roe) sushi.
