I went to a yakiniku all-you-can-eat restaurant in Ikebukuro with a friend who works there. It's located just a 2.3-minute walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station, in a building behind Can Do along Meiji Street. We made a reservation for the all-you-can-eat yakiniku, which costs 2,990 yen (excluding tax) for 90 types of food and all-you-can-drink alcohol from Monday to Thursday. The selection of meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and offal, was quite extensive. In addition to meat, there were also kimchi, namul, salads, side dishes, soups, and even a dessert to choose from. The only downside was that there was no beer included in the all-you-can-drink option. However, considering the price, I couldn't complain. We started with a lemon sour for a toast, which paired well with the yakiniku. The recommended assorted plate included various cuts of meat such as misuji, harami, kalbi, and more. The portions were generous and the misuji had a great presence. It was easy to eat and had a nice balance of meatiness. The namul assortment and kimchi assortment were also delicious and complemented the meat well. We also tried the negi gyutan, Korean-style fried chicken, chapchae, and finished with a small serving of kinako ice cream. Overall, I was very satisfied with the all-you-can-eat option as it offered a variety of choices beyond just meat. The restaurant was bustling with customers, and I highly recommend making a reservation, especially since it is a GoToEat campaign participating store. I had a great time enjoying the food and drinks, and left feeling happy and full.

I met my daughter for the first time in a while and we had yakiniku together. We went to "Sumibi Doraku Ikebukuro Honten" located on the 2nd floor of Bronzeville in Minami Ikebukuro 1-23-11, Toshima-ku, Tokyo. We had hormone (offal) dishes, which were fantastic. The restaurant is close to the Seibu side east exit of Ikebukuro Station. We opted for the 120-minute all-you-can-eat course, which costs 3,280 yen per person including tax. The course includes beef, pork, hormone, chicken, vegetables, and meat. Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted for the all-you-can-eat course, but you can pay with PayPay. The course also includes salad, fried foods, soup, appetizers, rice, and dessert. We ordered drinks separately, and the all-you-can-eat course operates on a one drink order basis. We enjoyed dishes like pork kalbi and pork loin as well as beef tongue and beef skirt. We also had Chorogi salad, namul, kimchi, and kakuteki. Everything was delicious cooked over charcoal. It was nice to see my daughter after a long time, even though we live in the same city but quite far apart. We had a great meal. Thank you.

I used it for lunch. The lunch menu has a very good cost performance. The Harami set meal is very satisfying for 1,480 yen, with a good amount of food, and the Harami meat was very tender and easy to eat. It is very close to Ikebukuro Station and this cost performance is excellent.

The meat at Douraku Lunch was kalbi and harami. They serve lunch until 5:00 PM! It's a simple restaurant that focuses more on quantity than quality. If you're not too picky about quality, you can get full for 1000 yen, and it's nice that they serve lunch until 5:00 PM. I didn't have high expectations since they also offer all-you-can-eat options, and the taste was just okay (personal opinion). The staff were friendly, so I would recommend it to those who can compromise on taste for good service.

I was looking for a delicious restaurant and came across a weekday-only affordable all-you-can-eat and drink option at Yakiniku Charcoal Do-Raku. I immediately made a reservation! I love yakiniku, so I was hoping to eat some delicious meat. When the day arrived, I went to the restaurant and was seated. I received an explanation about the all-you-can-eat and drink option. I saw on the reservation note that you could upgrade to a meat sushi set, so I asked about it, but unfortunately, they said it was no longer available. I started with the regular all-you-can-eat and drink option. The first dish that arrived was a platter of assorted meats along with the drinks, and from there, we placed additional orders. The platter included tongue, thinly sliced kalbi, samgyeopsal, pork kalbi, and more. I ordered tongue, harami, nakaochi kalbi, chicken thigh, and sasami, which are my usual choices. But I tried sasami for the first time, and it was incredibly delicious! It was a fatty cut that was juicy and tender. The other meats were also satisfying as each piece was large. The side menu had all the classic items, and my favorite was the potato salad! I ended up ordering it three times. The kakuteki and oi kimchi were not too spicy, especially the oi kimchi, which was surprisingly sweet. I asked my partner if they also found it sweet, and they agreed. We also ordered pork belly and hormone, enjoyed some rice, and had a great time eating yakiniku. For the last order, we got yukkejang kuppak and dessert with drinks. The dessert was limited to one per person, and the ice cream was perfectly chilled, a great palate cleanser. My partner's almond jelly was also delicious, with a gentle milk flavor. When we saw the bill at the end, we were pleasantly surprised. It was just a little over 6500 yen for the two of us. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the portion size was generous. We were amazed by the value for money and the satisfaction we got from the meal. This place is definitely a must-visit, with its convenient location near the station and the happiness you feel when leaving. Thank you for the wonderful meal, we will definitely be back!

I was planning to just go home, but then my colleague said, "Are you hungry? Shall we go somewhere to eat?" So, I thought it would be a good opportunity to celebrate her promotion. We decided on either yakiniku or sushi, but there weren't many places open after 9 pm. We ended up at this restaurant. My colleague doesn't eat much, so we avoided getting a course meal and just ordered delicious meat. I'm really happy for her promotion. We had a great time chatting and I hope we can continue working hard together this year. By the way, the restaurant was supposed to have private rooms according to the reviews, but we only saw semi-private rooms. I wonder if they would have shown us to a private room if we had asked? Well, the food was delicious and it was a great way to celebrate her promotion!

I made a reservation for a 3,990 yen course with a coupon discount for 2,990 yen. In the end, it cost 3,800 yen per person with additional charges, but it was worth it as we could enjoy a wide variety of dishes including beef tongue in the all-you-can-eat course. My friend and I had to ask the staff because the meat platter, which was supposed to be served first, was forgotten. They started the time from when the meat platter arrived. Even though we ordered more food than we could eat within the 30-minute last order limit, the staff kindly brought us water, extended the time without charging extra, and overall provided great service. There are rules for the all-you-can-eat course such as ordering a drink separately, ordering dessert within the course, a fee for leftovers, an extension fee for 30 minutes, and a charge for changing the grill, so if you read them carefully and be mindful, you can enjoy your meal.

Just visited a restaurant near the east exit of Ikebukuro Station, with two entrances on different streets. The lunch menu is available until 5 pm. The staff welcomed me with a lovely smile and directed me to my table. The entrance has two sides, one leading to the kitchen area. The seating area has 8 tables, mostly occupied by female customers. The staff serves warm towels and self-service water. I ordered the large portion of marbled kalbi beef (240g) and iced oolong tea. The food was delicious, with the beef being tender and slightly sweet. The rice, miso soup, white kimchi, and almond tofu were also enjoyable. The charcoal grill added a nice touch to the meal. Despite a slight increase in prices, the quality and value were still excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience pleasant. Overall, a great place for lunch with a variety of meat options and a welcoming atmosphere.

It was a yakiniku restaurant with a lot of young people because they had all-you-can-eat option. However, I chose to order a la carte this time. The sirloin sushi at the beginning was quite delicious and I wanted to eat more, but I held back. I ordered selected top loin, thick-cut tongue, and zabuton, which all looked appetizing. Overall, I was satisfied, but not sure about the cost performance. The Hakushu highball was a bit light, but the Kakuhai highball was normal.

I visited "Sumibi Douraku" at the east exit of Ikebukuro Station for lunch for the first time. The interior of the restaurant is memorable with a nice atmosphere. I chose the Variety Lunch for 980 yen and added a soft drink (oolong tea) for an extra 100 yen. The lunch came with rice, wakame & egg soup, salad, kimchi, and almond jelly for dessert. The meat included US tongue, domestic beef harami and chuck flap, and two types of hormone, totaling 5 types for 980 yen, which is quite reasonable. The quality of the meat was good for a lunch, and the freshness of the hormone was also good. For a little more money, you can double the amount of meat, but the portion was sufficient. All the waitstaff were foreigners, but they provided good service. They also have a lunch menu with Japanese beef, making it a cost-effective and casual dining option.

I entered the restaurant from the second-floor entrance. I confirmed my order and started with the all-you-can-drink option, beginning with a draft beer. The course meal was the second from the top, so the quality and quantity of the meat were good, and the taste was also great. They didn't have sirloin, but the kalbi, tongue, and hormone were delicious. However, among the staff, there was one person who seemed like a newcomer, with various issues in their service, perhaps due to their personality rather than a language problem. But since the food was delicious, it's a restaurant I would like to visit again.

From the west exit of Ikebukuro Station, the background music inside the restaurant is a bit quiet and hard to hear. I ordered the "Harami Lunch" with extra rice. It was served in about 5 minutes. The dish came with 8 slices of tender harami meat. The rice was cooked to a firm texture, which paired well with the meat.

Ikebukuro Charcoal Grilled Restaurant - Ikebukuro Higashiguchi, near Don Quijote! The entrance is a bit hidden, located just behind Don Quijote. They offer all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses, as well as a la carte options including wagyu beef and meat sushi. This time, I tried the most popular all-you-can-eat course which included a variety of meats like marbled kalbi. The meat dishes were served in portions of four slices, allowing you to enjoy a variety of options. They also had a good selection of chicken dishes. I particularly enjoyed grilling the chijimi on the grill until crispy, the spicy sauce was delicious. The bibimbap we had as a finale was also excellent with plenty of ingredients. I don't usually go to places like this with charcoal grills so it was a fun experience. The lunch menu looked tempting too, so I'm looking forward to trying the wagyu beef next time.

At the end of the year, three of us made a reservation for a buffet (about 4000 yen, with a 1000 yen discount using a coupon). The staff was not Japanese. At the buffet, a platter of meat is served first without any explanation of the types of meat. Also, there is a one-drink policy, so you need to order a drink. The experience was terrible for the following reasons: 1) No matter how many times we pressed the call button, no staff came. When we were running out of meat, we rang the call button, but no staff showed up. Eventually, we ran out of meat and the ordered items never arrived, leaving the table empty for about 20 minutes. 2) Ordered items did not arrive. Not even water was served when ordered. We had to call three times before anything arrived. The kalbi we ordered after the initial meat platter never came for 90 minutes, and only one serving arrived after we ordered it again during the last call. 3) The service was terrible. The staff did not respond when called, and when they did come to our table, they had a displeased look on their face. It seemed like they were prioritizing other tables over ours, making it seem like they were trying to prevent the restaurant from losing money due to customers eating too much during the 2-hour limit. 4) Being charged ¥50 just for changing the grill made no sense. The taste of the food was nothing special, with all dishes having a similar flavor. Despite it being a 2-hour limit, we did not feel full at all. This was our first time at such a restaurant, and we hope others do not have the same experience. Be cautious.

I had a solo yakiniku lunch in Ikebukuro. I'm on a low-carb diet, so I ordered a la carte. I got a Namul assortment (480 yen), a Douraku assortment (1980 yen) with wagyu kalbi, wagyu kalbi, hirerose, and a pot-pickled kalbi (780 yen). The kalbi and hirerose were quite tough. The kalbi was quite large and not a portion for one person to eat alone. The quality of the meat was not the best. In total, it cost 3500 yen, which is a bit pricey for lunch, but I left feeling full.

It was a pretty popular yakiniku restaurant where two pairs of two people shared a table of six. The atmosphere was more lively than romantic, with same-sex groups enjoying themselves. The meat was all decently delicious. The tongue had a good amount of fat and was tasty. The marinated harami was quite tender. We only ordered grilled squid for seafood, but it was different from what we expected, haha. It was a large cut of squid on foil with squid legs, butter, and soy sauce, similar to sushi toppings! It lacked elasticity and the flavor was just okay. You can't expect much from the seafood here. The vegetables were okay. Considering the price, there are plenty of other delicious yakiniku restaurants out there, so I think I'll just go once. Thank you for the meal.

Premium course 2,980 yen, all-you-can-drink 1,500 yen, both excluding tax. The meat was delicious♪ The assorted meat platter served at the beginning... the Wagyu kalbi in it was absolutely delicious! We used this restaurant for a year-end party. It is located about a 2-3 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. We booked a course with a 2-hour all-you-can-eat and drink option. We added 500 yen for all-you-can-drink beer. The staff in the hall were mostly non-Japanese, so it was difficult to get our orders through. There were delays in serving the food even though it was a time-limited plan. Also, we found out that changing the grill was an additional cost. The alcohol was overall weak, and the beer was lukewarm. The meat, such as loin and kalbi, had a rubbery texture. The sauce was thin, almost diluted. The heat was weak, making it hard to cook the meat properly. The portions were small and lacked substance. The slow service and weak heat seemed to be intentional to prolong the dining experience, which was disappointing. There were no positive points we could find in any aspect. We definitely won't be revisiting. Thank you for the meal.
