Visited Tonkatsu Hyakumeiten on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Noticed a line in front of the building where Agetsuki and Tsujihan are located, so asked the people in line to confirm which restaurant's line it was. It turned out to be Tsujihan, so passed by that line and went down the stairs to Agetsuki. Just as the customer in front was finishing up their meal, they asked me to wait a moment, so I queued up behind them. Shortly after, the customer in front and the customer who came after me were seated at the same time, and I thought we might be sharing a table, but the counter seats were all available, and we were seated separately. The interior of the restaurant has a traditional Japanese design with a nice atmosphere at the counter tables. While waiting, I had already decided on my order, so when I tried to order the Okinawan Island Pork Loin Cutlet set, I was told they were taking orders in the order of the line, so I had to wait a bit. When the customer in front finished ordering, I tried to order, but unfortunately, they had just sold out of the Okinawan Island Pork Loin Cutlet set! Oh no, what bad luck. Maybe that's why they were taking orders based on the line? Although I didn't have to wait long, it seems they can run out of items if you come later in the day. Oh well, I ended up ordering the Matsusaka Pork Fillet Cutlet set and added a side of homemade ground meat cutlet. I thought there were two types of sauce, but the white one turned out to be dressing. The fillet cutlet took some time to fry, so the Matsusaka Pork Loin Cutlet set for the customer who came after me was served first, and my order arrived in about 20 minutes. The miso soup was made with red miso and had seaweed and tofu as ingredients. There were two types of pickles on the table, each in a jar. On the main plate, the three pieces on the right were the fillet cutlet, and the one on the left was the additional ground meat cutlet I ordered. Since the fillet cutlet was also round in shape, it didn't look too different from the ground meat cutlet. I immediately cut open the ground meat cutlet and the fillet cutlet. The homemade ground meat cutlet was white both inside and out, with a tender texture and just the right amount of juices. The fillet cutlet was slightly rare when cut open, but after having the white homemade ground meat cutlet, the fillet cutlet was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy, with a crispy coating, making it delicious. Rice and cabbage were refillable once for free, so I got a refill of half rice and more cabbage. The refill for rice and cabbage was served based on how much you had left in your bowl or plate. The bill came out to 2,400 yen for the Matsusaka Pork Fillet Cutlet set at 1,880 yen and the homemade ground meat cutlet at 520 yen, and they only accepted cash for payment. It was delicious, so next time, I'll try the Okinawan Island Pork Loin Cutlet set.
