Since then, I have been visiting Jade5 frequently in the mornings. Every time I visit, the friendly staff warmly welcome me, making my week always better. When I had tried almost all the takeout menu items, I finally gathered the courage to dine in. Eating inside, I could feel the familiarity of the place. There are only four tables inside, so the distance between the staff and other customers feels very close. The Eggs Benedict, only available on the dine-in menu, was incredibly delicious. The eggs were rich and creamy, perfectly complementing the sweet scone-like biscuit underneath. The pancakes were even more delicious than the takeout ones. I highly recommend the Banana & Walnut Pancakes. The moist pancake batter mixed with sweet bananas, topped with walnuts and powdered sugar, was a perfect combination. Everyone loves Jade Five. I always think that if I can eat breakfast so deliciously, I want to come here every day. The banana bread and toast are crispy. The outside of the eggs is crispy. The bacon and potatoes have a good salty taste and are crispy on the outside. They always meet my expectations. It's a foreigner-friendly, pet-friendly place that I love.

After exercising in Hiroo, I wanted to have brunch, so I chose a highly rated brunch place nearby. The restaurant had only four tables and was quite small, but luckily it wasn't crowded that day, so I waited a bit and got a table. The menu wasn't very extensive, but everything looked delicious, so I chose the pancake and burger set. I sat by the roadside and enjoyed my brunch in a very nice atmosphere.

Within a 10-minute walk from Hiroo Station. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk from exit 2. We arrived at 12:30 and there were already 4 groups ahead of us. We probably waited less than 30 minutes for a table to open up. Honestly, it was a mistake to come with 4 people. The restaurant had mostly tables for 2 people, with only one table that could seat four. However, there were benches in the park across the street, so we didn't feel like we waited too long. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. There were many brunch-like options on the menu, but I wanted something a bit more American, so I chose the sandwich. The taste was perfect. The dressing was not too heavy, giving it a refreshing flavor. The coleslaw on the side was tangy and slightly sweet. I personally liked it, but I wish it was a bit bigger. It was hard to gauge the size when ordering, and ordering more later felt a bit inconvenient. Well, next time I'll order more in advance.

I went to Hiroo after my hospital appointment. I arrived a little early, so I had some time to kill. There are a few bakeries and cafes in Hiroo that open early in the morning, but some are far from the station or have long lines. One of my favorite cafes near the station is here. This is where I first tried Eggs Benedict. The name always makes me think of Benedict Cumberbatch. I also love their burritos. Their cakes, like the carrot cake, have a charming American feel to them and are delicious. However, this place is also popular and often has long lines. Today, I was lucky that there was no line, but it was full inside, so I opted for takeout. I got a hot coffee and an oatmeal cookie. The staff here is friendly and welcoming. Being treated so nicely in the morning makes me feel motivated for the day ahead. I took a break at a nearby park. The coffee they served had a mild acidity and was easy to drink. The slightly strong bitterness went well with the sweet oatmeal cookie. The cookie had a chewy texture and felt like it was homemade by a mom, but it's actually made by a cheerful young man or a lovely young lady. Next time, I'll take my time and enjoy the ambiance inside the cafe.

After reheating, the crumble was even more crispy, and the apple filling inside was juicy and sweet-sour. The nuts in the crumble added a nice touch. It was delicious on its own and paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. I always leave satisfied with the delicious food here. I went to the most American-like café in Hiroo to buy a Thanksgiving Day pie! The café in Hiroo serves American dishes and sweets from the morning. The staff is very kind and friendly. I love this café and I'm completely hooked. They have a Thanksgiving Day menu until November 27th. I went to buy a Thanksgiving Day pie. From November 23rd to 27th, they have a special menu for Thanksgiving Day, including dishes and sandwiches using turkey, as well as limited edition pies. I tried the pumpkin custard pie last time and it was delicious, so this time I got the limited edition mixed nuts pie. The café was packed despite the rain, showing how popular it is. I got the pie to go and enjoyed it at home. It came with a generous amount of cream, just like the American-sized portions. It was delicious with a rich nutty flavor and plenty of cream. It has a homely atmosphere! There are regular customers who bring their dogs. Everyone seems to know each other, or at least everyone has a dog with them. There was a short wait outside (with dog companions). I ordered Eggs Benedict (¥1180) and an iced tea (¥250). The total came to ¥1430. The bread for the Eggs Benedict was not a muffin, but a scone! The combination of cheese, salt, and the sweetness of the scone was exquisite. The baked potato was fluffy and crispy on the outside, soft inside, just the way I like it. Ketchup and salt & pepper were on the table, so I could adjust the flavor as I ate. It's quite a substantial portion for a woman to have in the morning, but I prefer that to too little. I'd like to try their pancakes and since they also sell muffins, I plan to come back again next time.
