Finally, on my fourth attempt (lol), I was able to visit the popular yakitori restaurant that is always crowded. A local regular customer kindly made a reservation for me. Grateful for that. The place was fully booked even with reservations, and I was surprised by the extensive and diverse menu. The owner, seemingly handling all the cooking almost single-handedly, had great organization skills. The charcoal-grilled yakitori was outstanding, and the side dishes offered a variety of styles - Japanese, Chinese, Western, and Korean - all delicious. It's a great restaurant that lives up to its popularity, and I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Assorted skewers with 10 pieces, 4 types of cheese, macaroni, and kabocha tempura, as well as yam and cabbage tempura, all delicious. Especially the cabbage tempura and yam tempura! The cabbage tempura has a charcoal aroma and goes well with salt. The yam tempura is fluffy and not heavy. The staff were also friendly. We made a reservation before going, and the restaurant was full, so it seems like a reservation is necessary if you plan to visit.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Nagafukucho, this restaurant is a bit small and typically requires a reservation for parties of 4 or more. The head chef and staff are very attentive and notice things you may not even be aware of. I made a reservation for a Saturday night and by 7pm, the place was fully booked. The menu offers a variety of interesting dishes, perfect for pairing with drinks. The skewers are exceptional, with options to choose a set number and then add on as you like, offering great value for money. Each skewer is substantial, and after ordering 8, along with some other dishes, I was quite full. The grilling is done perfectly, leaving a slight rareness that enhances the flavor. The service is quick, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. I look forward to returning to try more dishes and explore the interesting drink menu, especially the highballs and wines. It's no wonder this place is always busy.

I was recommended by a friend to go here. The interior is small but stylish, and I thought it was nice as soon as I entered ☺️ The yakitori was delicious, but the fresh vegetables and Iburi Gakko cheese were also tasty~ The chicken liver teppanyaki was amazing too. We ordered the yakitori course, and it was so juicy and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On February 24, 2020 (Mon) (Holiday), dinner with my partner. Weekend dinner on the Inokashira Line. Tonight we went to Nagafukacho. We tried this yakitori restaurant on Inokashira Street. We were able to sit down as there were vacant seats. I ordered a draft beer and my partner ordered a lemon sour. We got the Nagafuku (six skewers course for 1380 yen) for two people and also ordered the recommended coarsely chopped mekabu (530 yen). We started with a salad appetizer followed by mekabu, which was slimy and delicious. It was labeled as being from Sanriku, probably one of the early signs of spring. Then came the yakitori. We had chicken breast, neck, thigh, heart, gizzard, and liver. The meat was thick, juicy, and crunchy, and very tasty. I drank my beer quickly. My partner wanted to try the Japanese curry udon (680 yen) at the end. The broth combined with curry was delicious. The background music was modern jazz, with many saxophone songs playing, and just before we left, a young Art Pepper performance came on. The total bill was 7200 yen. It was a great restaurant. I would like to come back again.

On a certain day in July, I took a walk around Omiya Hachimangu Shrine♪ It was my first visit to this charming place.
- Highball 380 yen
- Duck Tataki 1380 yen
- Eifuku 6-piece course 1380 yen, etc...
First, the dressing on the salad served as an appetizer was delicious. The Duck Tataki showcased the high quality of Torimasa's dishes. And all the yakitori dishes were delicious. What's more, the quality of the food and service didn't feel forced, but rather exuded a gentle kindness. It was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to trying more items on the menu. It was a delightful place where I could enjoy a happy time. Thank you for the meal♡

A refined quality restaurant where you can enjoy high-quality food and drinks. The atmosphere and location are very appealing. The grilled chicken skewers are delicious, and there is a great selection of side dishes. It's a delight to enjoy wine with the grilled chicken. It's great to have a place like this!

The counter is small, but I love yakitori and wine, so I really liked Torimasa. This time, I visited with my partner. I was worried if we could make a reservation on the same day, but it was fine since it was a late hour. Last time, we ordered a lot of snacks, so this time we decided to enjoy yakitori and wine! The wine that the staff recommended was at a surprisingly good price, so we chose it for our first bottle. Even if we drink two bottles, it's a very cost-effective place. Let's go again sometime.

I love yakitori and wine. Many yakitori restaurants have mediocre wine selections, but this place was different. Lately, I've been enjoying natural wines due to my age, and this place was perfect for me. The food was not just yakitori, but also had many other attractive options, and they let me choose my favorite wine from the fridge. The counter felt a bit cramped, but this time I sat at a table and was able to chat with my friends comfortably. I would love to visit again.

You can also enjoy natural wine and craft beer. The style is to order skewers as a set. The skewers are delicious, probably because of the good quality of the chicken. The place is always crowded with customers, and it has a lively atmosphere. Last Christmas, I ordered a takeaway roast chicken from this place.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the company's performance was significantly revised downwards. To lift my spirits, I went to see the night cherry blossoms at Omiya Hachimangu Shrine, then met up with my wife and headed to Torimasa, a restaurant I had been curious about. The exterior has a traditional Japanese house feel. Inside, the atmosphere is a bit dim with a bar-like vibe and jazz music playing. I ordered something called apple beer. The appetizer was a salad, quite substantial and all-you-can-eat. It was quite tasty. The beer came in a thin glass, which I like, but I'm hesitant to buy it for home use as I might break it. Drinking from a thin glass somehow makes it taste 30% better. The apple beer had a hint of apple flavor and was delicious! We ordered a chef's selection of 6 yakitori skewers and some fresh vegetables. The yakitori pieces were quite large. We also added a simmered kinkan (kumquat) dish. Not many places serve kinkan, so my expectations were high, and here they were served semi-ripe. Delicious! I was reminded that kinkan is like a little egg. Tasty but also a bit guilty. I ended up getting full. There were so many dishes that caught my eye! Leftover dishes can be taken home. I took home the wine I couldn't finish. I definitely want to go back!

This is Torimasa in Nagafuku-cho!! The taste of the grilled chicken here is very delicious because the flavor of the chicken itself is clear (*´ω`*) However, you need a strong type of alcohol to go with the grilled chicken, otherwise it will be overpowered (;^ω^) I tried the skin, tsukune, and chouchin and they were all delicious☆

A yakitori restaurant that only serves food carefully selected by the manager. The yakitori is incredibly delicious, unlike anything I've ever had before, with rich flavors of the meat itself. In addition to the yakitori, the fresh raw vegetables are also delicious, and the homemade miso that accompanies them is very tasty.

The yakitori here goes really well with the food. I've tried yakitori in various places, but the way they cook it here is just to my liking. Before talking about the food, let's start with the reservation. When I mentioned that I use a wheelchair, they said it wouldn't be a problem. When I actually visited, it wasn't completely barrier-free, but they managed to seat us at a table in the back. They were very kind and helpful in that aspect. We tried a variety of dishes, but I highly recommend the 6-piece course. I'm not a fan of organ meats, so I avoided those, and they served us delicious yakitori at a pace that suited our eating speed. I was particularly surprised by the bonjiri. I don't usually eat it, but since it was served, I had to try it. The cooking was just right, masking the greasiness typical of bonjiri and bringing out its delicious flavor. The other dish, the Momo-ya chicken breast tenderloin, had a perfect cooking level that concentrated the meat's umami flavor. It was delicious. They also had a variety of wines to choose from, giving off a more sophisticated vibe compared to your typical yakitori restaurant. My friends and I ended up opening three bottles! I will definitely be going back.

I came back again. This restaurant is always fully booked. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, making it easy for a woman to dine alone without feeling out of place. The skewers, grilled one by one by the young chef, are juicy and flavorful. The skewers range from 230 yen each, which may seem a bit pricey, but it's reasonable considering the quality. I always order the grilled liver as a side dish. The aroma of green onions and sesame oil is irresistible, and the perfectly cooked liver is addictive. The vegetable side dishes are also recommended. On this day, I had the winter chicken and shiitake mushroom stew. The depth of flavor from the vegetables is amazing. Each dish is carefully crafted, and you can't go wrong with anything you order. They also teach you the best way to enjoy each ingredient. Getting to eat such delicious seasonal food at this price is quite a bargain. I'll definitely be coming back next month.
