Platto, for today's lunch, I explored the area around Tsukiji Station. Exiting from Exit 1 of Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Tsukiji Station, you will come out onto Shiodome Avenue. Turn right on Shiodome Avenue and walk towards the Harumi Street direction for a while. When you reach Harumi Street, turn left and continue straight towards the Harumi direction. Keep going straight until you reach the first traffic light, cross it, and continue straight. After a short walk, you will find "Beef Cutlet Nikugaki" on your left, where I visited today.
I arrived at the restaurant around 12:20 pm on a weekday. The first floor of the restaurant is small, with only counter seats. There were two men and one solo customer inside. Since the seat at the far end of the counter was available, a male staff member guided me there. I checked the menu, which included options like Beef Cutlet Set, Sirloin Cutlet Set, Harami Cutlet Set, Pork Fillet Cutlet Set, Fried Chicken Set, Kalbi Steak Set, Hamburger Set, Beef Cutlet Curry, Sirloin Cutlet Curry, Harami Cutlet Curry, Pork Fillet Cutlet Curry, Fried Chicken Curry, Kalbi Steak Curry, Hamburger Curry, etc.
Seeing a large sign above the entrance saying "Fall in love! Beef Cutlet Nikugaki," I decided to try the recommended Beef Cutlet Set. I placed my order with the male staff member and waited for about 9 minutes. The Beef Cutlet Set was served, consisting of Beef Cutlet, shredded cabbage, potato salad, demi-glace sauce, rice, and miso soup. There were condiments like Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, dressing, and salt on the table.
The Beef Cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a slight pink hue. I tried it with salt first and then with various sauces and wasabi. It was delicious and well-matched with the seasonings. I enjoyed the meal, especially with the complimentary rice and cabbage. After finishing the meal with miso soup, I left satisfied. It was a delightful experience at Beef Cutlet Nikugaki. Thank you for the meal.
