Hanasaki Tan is beautiful ✨ They have 8 types of Tan. This is a convenient place because they don't run out of Tan. The Zabuton, Harami, and 3-second loin are delicious and highly recommended! This long-established restaurant was founded in 1986, the same year I was born, haha. They handle Miyazaki beef, Kobe beef, Tanagoku beef, and Miran beef, which are rare in Tokyo, so you can enjoy a variety of options. A definite repeat visit place. Google Maps: 4.1 Recommended menu: Thick-cut Tan shio of domestic beef, Hanasaku Toro Tan shio, Special Wagyu Zabuton, 3-second loin Recommended seat: Completely private room with smokeless roaster Nearest station: 1 minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nikusta.toya/

I felt that the meat was being properly managed at the right temperature (there were no meats that were frozen or served too cold). The meat was thick, had a good chew, and was very delicious, making it a fun time. However, I was a little disappointed that the curry served at the end of the course was not heated enough and remained cold, and personally, I found the seasoning to be too spicy. Despite these points, it was still a very satisfying restaurant. I will definitely visit again, so thank you in advance. (I have already started coordinating schedules with another friend)

Kabukicho Yakiniku Sakaba Rien is located along Meiji Street in the back of Kabukicho. The restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is located in the basement of a mixed-use building with few other dining options nearby. I stopped by this restaurant on a whim after feeling a bit hungry on my way home from drinking. Despite the late hour, most of the seats were occupied by customers. I ordered the salt-grilled loin, grilled shabu-shabu, and rice. First, I tried the grilled shabu-shabu. The staff grilled the thin, high-quality meat for me, and I enjoyed it with egg yolk and rice. It was delicious and had an excellent flavor. Next, I had the loin. I prefer my meat cooked rare, so I had it grilled to a tender, slightly rare texture. The meat was perfectly seasoned with salt, and it was so tender that I could eat as much rice as I wanted with it. Although my visit was short, I left satisfied. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal. This place is delicious!! I definitely want to come back again!! While I feel that high-end and delicious places are worth the price, I really appreciate restaurants with good value for money. I especially like the tongue and marinated kalbi. It's also great that they have a wide variety of drinks. It was a satisfying dinner.

I visited the restaurant on a regular night. It was my first time there. It is located a short walk from Shinjuku Sanchome underground. It was relatively quiet and seemed like a hidden gem. I ordered the grilled beef tongue wrapped in cabbage. Unlike the usual burnt green onions, this one was delicious and easy to eat in one bite without dropping anything. The beef tongue with salt was amazing. They also had a variety of beef tongue dishes for comparison. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I had the course menu. The portion was generous and the meat was very delicious! There was also a decent selection of drinks. However, I felt like I wanted to order what I wanted to eat individually instead of the course, so choosing the course was a personal mistake for me lol. This does not affect my rating.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant near Shinjuku Sanchome Station because I wanted to eat grilled meat! It was a bit smoky and the ventilation seemed poor, but the meat and salad were delicious! I forgot to take a picture, but the green chili pepper pancake was spicy and tasty!

I ordered the welcome party course with all-you-can-drink for 6,000 yen. Ordering drinks through a QR code was a bit confusing, especially distinguishing between regular orders and all-you-can-drink orders. However, the variety of appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and drinks was very satisfying.

On a Friday night, I left the restaurant feeling slightly rushed but still satisfied with the delicious meat I had. I was looking for a restaurant in Shinjuku with private rooms and found this place. I made a reservation for a private room. When I arrived, I was guided to a cozy private room where you have to take off your shoes (I always wonder if I'm wearing holey socks at times like these). They asked us to order through the smartphone, which had an easy-to-read menu and you could also order condiments from there. Drinks came out in seconds after ordering. The meat also came out quickly. I couldn't help but say "so fast!" The dishes we ordered were kimchi assortment, kimchi cheese jeon, premium tongue, premium kalbi, and premium skirt steak. I went with my married friends, so they made a birthday plate into a happy wedding plate for us (I was surprised because I asked over the phone and they said it was possible). All the meat dishes were delicious and quite generous in portion size. The tongue was so tender and flavorful (you can tear it apart with your teeth). The lemon goes well with the tongue fat. The kalbi was just...sweet fat! It went perfectly with beer. If it wasn't nighttime, I would have wanted to eat this kalbi with a large serving of rice. The skirt steak was also tender and tasty. The kimchi cheese jeon we chose from a few options was a sure bet. It was incredibly voluminous, and even though I was full after eating two pieces, I wanted to order more. The crispy cheese around the jeon was fantastic. I didn't really like the sauce that came with the jeon, so I ate it without any sauce. Considering the quality and portion size for the price, I think this place offers good value for money in Shinjuku!

Ordering at this restaurant is done through your own smartphone. It is said to be for preventing the spread of the new coronavirus, but there are various reasons such as lack of staff, work style reform, cost reduction, etc. The upper harami (skirt steak) was delicious. What was surprising was that there was no sauce provided. Maybe it was possible to order with a smartphone (laughs). It's a restaurant where you can enjoy yakiniku alone. Thank you for the meal.

Delicious kimchi is all-you-can-eat at this affordable yakiniku restaurant during weekday lunch time. I went when it was not crowded and the staff greeted me warmly. I ordered the Li Garden set for ¥1,350, which allows you to choose two types of meat from tongue, kalbi, loin, and harami, served with rice, soup, and salad. The kimchi on the table was all-you-can-eat, adding to the value of the set. I chose tongue and kalbi. The tongue had a good balance of fat and a satisfying texture, while the kalbi had a bit too much fat for my liking. The sauce was not too salty and had a nice sweetness that complemented the meat well. The kimchi helped cut through the richness of the meat and made the meal even more enjoyable. The rice was a bit on the softer side. The kitchen had a motherly figure working hard, and the friendly staff provided great service. The restaurant is not very spacious, located underground with a narrow staircase, but I had a great and affordable yakiniku experience for lunch.

In the midst of the scorching heat and ongoing shortage of staff, I treated myself to a well-deserved meal at the newly visited restaurant "Yakiniku Sakaya Rien" in East Shinjuku. Located in a basement of a mixed-use building, the interior is a bit cramped and cluttered, but I was led to a private room that felt like a hidden treasure trove. However, it was not a sunken hearth, so my feet felt a bit cramped. I started with the specialty thick-cut wagyu tongue (unlike any I've seen at other beef tongue restaurants, it blooms like a flower when grilled), followed by marinated kalbi in a pot (paired well with a fruity sauce), wagyu harami (tender and easy to eat despite being harami), and divine hormone (known as "teppanyaki"). For dessert, I opted for Yukkejang Kuppa, a stamina-boosting dish in a small bowl that was just the right size for one person. Alright, I've had a perfect stamina-boosting night!

Shinjuku Sanchome station is a short walk from the yakiniku restaurant Lee En. I happened to pass by and felt like eating meat! So I decided to go in! The interior of the restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly, creating a great atmosphere. The yakiniku was delicious with tender meat! The sauce was refreshing and I could eat as much as I wanted! Apart from yakiniku, I highly recommend trying the kimchi cheese jeon. It's full of melty cheese and goes well with drinks.

Shinjuku Sanchome is a bit of a walk from Shinjuku, but this place was so delicious and made me want to come back again! I went with 2 people and we were full right away, so next time I want to go with about 4 people and try more dishes. It's a bit far from the station and we went on a weekday, but the seats were full. I could see why it's so popular! It's not impossible to make a reservation, so I recommend making one just in case before going!

The yakiniku restaurant recommends eating yakiniku with sauce. Among them, the beef tongue has various menu options. Especially, dishes where green onions are wrapped in beef tongue are exquisite. Other dishes eaten with sauce are not too heavy and go well with alcohol, making them delicious. The explanation of the dishes by the staff is polite and calm, and I had a very good time.

My first visit to a yakiniku restaurant in 2022 was at "Rien" located within a 5-minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station along Meiji Street. There is another yakiniku restaurant named "Rien" in Nakano Station, but it is completely unrelated to the one in Shinjuku. The atmosphere at this place gives off a Korean vibe. I ordered the 1,350 yen lunch set with domestic beef kalbi and harami. The taste of the meat was good, although the kalbi was a bit tough when grilled, the harami was tender and delicious. The salad that came with the set had a great seasoning with a nice sesame oil flavor that left a lasting impression. Additionally, the kimchi was all-you-can-eat and it was homemade with a perfect balance of sourness and spiciness that made it quite addictive. It was so delicious that I ended up having several helpings of the kimchi.

【Received Dish】 - Jidori Chicken Saute Donburi for 1,280 yen Overall, the flavor was on the sweeter side, but satisfying when you're hungry. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, making it a perfect match with the rice. The portion size was just right for a special serving (equivalent to a regular large serving, I would say). Additionally, there was a soft-boiled egg, bean sprout namul, and kimchi on top, enhancing the rich flavor that soaked into the rice. The sweet and spicy combination of flavors provided a high level of satisfaction from start to finish.

It's been about half a year since my last visit. When my friend, who loves yakiniku, said "I want to go eat yakiniku!" I immediately thought of this restaurant. This time, we compared the "thick-cut tongue" and "sliced tongue" as shown in the picture. It's hard to choose a winner... but if I had to choose, I'd say the "sliced tongue" won. I can't really explain why, it was just a very close call. We also had "harami," "ichibo," "upper kalbi," and "special kalbi." It's hard to say which one was the best... it's really a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer the lean cuts. We finished off with cold noodles and had to make do with "hige-cha" since alcohol wasn't available. Once again, the meal was delicious. Thank you for the feast!

Located in the basement of a building along Meiji Street, heading from Shinjuku Sanchome to Higashi-Shinjuku, is a yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy lunch. Established in 1986, this restaurant has been passed down through generations, known for its special Omoni sauce. The menu seems unchanged, offering rice bowls, bibimbap, daily specials like tan curry, and of course, yakiniku set meals. The kimchi in the pot on the table is unlimited during lunch, with a crispy and spicy flavor. The lunch set includes salad and wakame soup. I tried the Kalbi rice bowl, generously topped with tender and juicy Kalbi coated in a sweet sauce. The combination of Kalbi and Harami seems to be the most popular choice. The salad, soup, and unlimited kimchi on the table complement the meal perfectly. The rice, made with Ibaraki-grown Koshihikari rice, is also very delicious. If you register on their Line app and complete a survey, you can receive a special coupon. I think I'll try the Tan or thick-cut Tan next time. Bon appétit!
