The restaurant has been open for 16 years and is located just a few minutes' walk from Shibuya Station. It specializes in Hawaiian beer and cuisine, and has a great atmosphere. I spent about 2 hours there, and was able to relax and enjoy a nice meal in a good atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of canned beers as well as craft beers, so you can choose a beer that suits your taste.

Visited Wai'elele again last night for our second stop. Had a Kona beer, Hanalei Island IPA. This IPA uses orange and passion fruit, giving it a tropical flavor that is delicious. Also tried Fort Point Animal Tropical IPA, which goes down smoothly and is easy to drink. Both are perfect for enjoying on a summer beach. Delicious!

The other day, when I happened to visit a certain store in Kanda, I saw this person here, so I decided to go back after a long time and went to Shibuya after work, which is rare for me. Honestly, no matter how many times I go to Shibuya, I never get used to the atmosphere. Even though I should have been able to go straight to the exit, I still got lost (bitter smile). However, since I arrived early, I was able to be seated without waiting. Last time, they had shortened hours due to a certain emergency, so I only stayed for less than an hour, but I still felt that the atmosphere created by this couple was really nice. The same feeling continued during this visit as well, with them leaving me alone when I was on my phone, but gently engaging in conversation when I was just drinking. I found their natural gestures to be really nice. The beer selection includes international options, but they also have lagers and a good variety of canned beers, so you won't have trouble finding something to drink. The draft beer comes in small (200ml: 700 yen) and large (400ml: 1000 yen), and the canned beers are priced at 1000 yen for 355ml and 1500 yen for 473ml, which is easy to understand. To be honest, I don't really like Shibuya, but I'm willing to endure it a little to come here... It's a cozy place that makes me feel that way.

The other day, I had a job outside for the first time in over 2 years! The job went well, so I decided to sneak off to Shibuya for a beer. I went to Wailele, a place that specializes in American craft beers. It's a bit hard to find since it's on the second floor of a building in a crowded area near the Inokashira Line. They have 5 types of craft beers on tap, and I tried the Kona Brewing Hanalei Island IPA first. It was light and easy to drink at 4.5% alcohol content. I also tried the Belching Beaver Brewery No Worries IPA, which had a stronger taste at 6.2% alcohol content. I planned to stop at two drinks, but ended up trying the Beachwood Cosmic Lottery as well. It was 7.1% alcohol but surprisingly easy to drink. I had a great time enjoying the beers, and even had a chat with the owner who started the business 15 years ago. Overall, it was a perfect choice of beers for the night. It's not often that I get to drink beer outside, but when I do, I want to go to a place like this. Highly recommended.

Visited Wairele last night for the second round. Started with Full Sail Amber Ale, which has a nice lingering malt finish. Next up was Hagi Yuzu Ale from Yamaguchi Craft Beer. The punch of yuzu is strong, with a harmonious blend of yuzu peel bitterness and hops. Absolutely delicious. Cheers!

2020.11 Revisited Last night's second stop was here, also in Shibuya at Wairele. It's been a while since my last visit. They have 5 types of draft beer. I started with Fullsail Brewing / Amber Ale. It has a pleasant roasted flavor and a gentle taste. Delicious! Next was Blue Moon Brewing / Blue Moon Belgian White. The lingering taste of wheat is pleasant and refreshing. Yummy! Cheers!

Located at the foot of Shibuya Dogenzaka, Wailele is a favorite craft beer shop of mine. The owners, Naosan and Rie-san, always warmly welcome guests, creating a very cozy atmosphere. For my first drink, I had the Revision IPA, followed by the After Hours Wild Ale IPA for my second. Both beers are not commonly found in Japan, and the second one was particularly unique - a sour porter that was surprisingly addictive! Both drinks were delicious. #Wailele #HawaiianBeer #CraftBeer #Beer #DraftBeer #Shibuya #Dogenzaka #Porter #DarkBeer

Visited Maui Brewing in Shibuya last night, had a great time. Tried the Chopsuey Spelltrigger, it had a soft and natural taste with a grainy feel. Delicious! Also had the Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake, I love cheesecake and the raspberry added a nice touch of acidity. Yum! Next, tried the Coconut Biwa Porter, the combination of coconut and biwa gave it a unique Hawaiian vibe. Well-balanced and tasty. Overall, it was a great experience!

Visited the same chain restaurant Wairele located near Wasafaru, the second bar I went to last night. Had the Coronado 23rd Anniversary Double Hazy IPA, which was a strong 8% IPA. It was a great, relaxing experience where I could enjoy it slowly. It was delicious! Thank you!

Visited Wailele in Shibuya again in October 2019. Congratulations to Cerveza Gym Group on their 12th anniversary! Had a refreshing Konablue Brewing Big Wave Golden IPA first. It was delicious! Second drink was Blue Moon Belgian White, which I tried for the first time. It had a subtle citrus flavor.

It's about a 1-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the Inokashira Line. This Hawaiian and American craft beer bar is popular for its relaxed atmosphere. They have 5 craft beers on tap, as well as a variety of bottled and canned beers. Despite the second-floor location being almost full, you can still enjoy a leisurely drink with a sense of openness and playfulness. I enjoyed sipping beer while snacking on nuts. I really like the Blue Moon Belgian White Ale they offer. I can't remember what I had for my second drink, but I had a good time overall. The payment was also accepted through PayPay. Located a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Shibuya Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, is the beer bar "Wairere" where you can enjoy a Hawaiian atmosphere and delicious craft beer. They offer 5 taps of American craft beer, mainly from Hawaii, as well as a variety of bottled and canned beers. The signboards and menu boards have a Hawaiian theme, and you can go up to the 2nd floor of the building via the stairs to enter the store. The lively atmosphere inside is almost full, and the interior is brighter and more comfortable than expected. There is a figure of the owner at the counter. The beers we tried were the Mill Haze IPA, which had a moderate bitterness and a refreshing and rich hazy IPA flavor, and the Blue Moon Belgian White Ale, which had a Valencia orange aroma and a coriander spice flavor, making it very fruity. We also had some nuts as snacks. The Hoppy Tropical Pale Ale had a passion fruit aroma but had a dry impression. In this cozy space, we enjoyed delicious Hawaiian beer and left feeling refreshed. Thank you for the meal. Wairere 070-6987-1981 2F Arai Building, 1-7-8 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

I stopped by here for a second party. I've been here a few times, but I'm usually pretty drunk and my memory is fuzzy or I forget to take photos (lol). This time, I was relatively sober, so I was able to remember more clearly. I received a card and a sticker for the KONA BEER event the next day. The Hibiscus BRUT IPA caught my interest. I tried the next two beers on tap: Modern Times' Happy Tropical Pale Ale and Smog City Coffee Porter. I had been curious about Smog City for a while. Pizza Port had a stronger coffee flavor. The place was quite lively and had a nice atmosphere. It's better to go with a small group of close friends.

I went to a beer bar in Shibuya called Wailele for the first time in a while. This place mainly serves American craft beers, and on this day, they had a lineup of five different beers from Cigar City Brewing, which have recently started coming to Japan. I started with a Lager in a small size (700 yen), which had a clean and refreshing taste, perfect for easy drinking and moving on to the next beer. Next, I tried their flagship beer, JaiAlai, in a regular size (1000 yen). It had a citrusy flavor, like grapefruit or orange, with a good balance of hop bitterness. The juicy orange taste made the bitterness less intense, which was nice. I also enjoyed some caramelized mixed nuts as a snack, which paired well with the IPA. I then ordered a West Coast IPA from Green Flash, which had a great bitterness. The chips and salsa were a classic choice to go with beer, and the macaroni potato salad had a hint of truffle aroma. Another beer from Cigar City Brewing ran out, so I got an IPA from Stone Brewing, which was sharp and bitter. The bacon steak was a recommended dish, and I tried it with four different sauces, but I preferred it with just salt. I ended the night with some unique canned and bottled beers, including NE style IPA, Imperial IPA, and a limited edition IPA. I had a great time trying different beers and dishes that complemented them well. The variety of draft beers, as well as rare canned and bottled beers, made the experience enjoyable. I recommend this place for beer lovers.

In Shibuya, I was taken to a craft beer bar called Wailele by a beer enthusiast. Located in the Mark City area, this hidden gem on the second floor offers a great selection of Hawaiian and American craft beers. They have 5 types of draft beers, all looking delicious. I sipped on an IPA, pure bliss. The chips & salsa were perfect beer companions, along with macaroni & potato salad. And then, the famous bacon steak BBQ. Thick and huge!!! You can choose from 4 spices and sauces. The beer just keeps flowing. After enjoying the craft beers on tap, my beer-savvy companion selected various canned and bottled craft beers. All unique brands, all new to me. The world of craft beer is fascinating! The packaging is stylish too. From start to finish, it was a craft beer festival. I drank a lot. I went beyond tipsy to drunk (laughs).

It was a long time since my last visit. This time, I had 2 beers and 1 dish, and the total came to 3200 yen. Maybe the reason they didn't have dark beer on the menu is because they focus on Hawaiian cuisine? It was quite light. The fried chicken had a Hawaiian or tropical sauce on it, giving it a taste of the tropics, but the portion size was quite large. It was 1200 yen for about 10 pieces, so it was pretty filling.

2018.2 revisited the second bar from last night, which just celebrated its 4th anniversary. We visited Wailale-san. I had a Longboard Island Lager beer. The bitterness is mild and it has a refreshing taste. Delicious!
