I visited a shop in the underground of Hulk that operates continuously throughout the day. They also offer izakaya menu from lunchtime, and I was asked upon entering if I wanted to have the lunch menu. I chose the sashimi set lunch for 1300 yen. Both the sashimi and miso soup were delicious. Having either salad or pickles as a side dish would have created a more balanced impression for the main dish.

When I want to have a casual drink in Shinjuku, I always end up coming here. It's located in the basement of Odakyu HALC, with a great atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a quick drink. It was packed during Saturday lunchtime. They offer reasonably priced options like seafood bowls and sashimi sets. I'm curious about those as well. I ordered potato salad, a sashimi platter with five varieties, and a seafood roll. Everything was delicious and satisfying. It's nice to be able to enjoy fresh fish. I wanted to try the tempura of young ayu, but unfortunately, they only serve fried dishes after 4:00 PM. I'll definitely come back for another casual drink or lunch. It was delicious. I didn't have high expectations when I entered the store due to its location, but the food was surprisingly delicious. The seafood salad had double the amount of seafood I expected, which was great. The negitoro roll was a thick roll with lots of filling and a good seaweed flavor. The open kitchen allowed us to see the chefs preparing the food carefully, and we could also interact with them at the counter.

I thought the underground area of Shinjuku Halc was a bit dirty, but I was wrong. It was a very clean space with many shops like a food court. I wanted to eat sashimi this time, so I chose this place. The salad was pretty good. I ordered 5 types of sashimi, and the blue fish was especially delicious.

We revisited with two people because we had a delicious and enjoyable experience last time. We ordered a sashimi assortment, meat tofu, flounder sashimi, and white shrimp tempura. Everything was delicious and perfect for accompanying drinks! The sashimi was fresh, the meat tofu had just the right flavor for my taste, and the white shrimp was crispy. I discovered a hidden gem space underground in Nishi-Shinjuku called "Haruchika". Located on the basement 3rd floor of Odakyu HALC, this lively space features around 10 food and drink establishments. It's not too crowded or noisy, making it a great recommendation for those tired of the crowded streets above. Despite being during Golden Week, Haruchika was surprisingly empty, perhaps because it's not well-known. Among the establishments, O-Sashimiya is located in the back left corner and offers a very calm atmosphere where you can relax. The prices are reasonable for the location, making it a super recommendation for those who want to enjoy seafood dishes in a clean and calm space near the station.

I stopped by for a casual drink. It was a great decision. The delicious sashimi was all fresh and I especially loved the raw baby sardines. I also had tempura of young ayu and white shrimp. Finished with a seafood roll. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a delicious restaurant by chance. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal.

I tried the sashimi of nodoguro and iwashi at "Haluchika" in Odakyu Halc B3 in Shinjuku, which was surprisingly delicious. The tai kama (red snapper collar) for 440 yen was also amazing. The restaurant is actually a branch of Asahi Sushi in Takaido, known for its high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended! Thank you for the delicious meal.

On May 3, 2022, a sunny day during Golden Week, I met up with a friend in Shinjuku for drinks after a long time. We visited three different places and were treated to delicious meals. The first place we went to was a place where you can have a few drinks in the afternoon, which was a new experience for me. It's a popular spot for sashimi and other dishes. We started with a toast of draft beer (Sapporo) at "Osashimiya," which is the name of the restaurant. Then we moved on to the next place for bottled highball drinks and let my friend choose the sashimi and other appetizers. It was a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.

This restaurant is a seafood izakaya run by Asahi Sushi Sohonten, a sushi restaurant often found above department stores. Every time I go to HalC in Odakyu, it's always crowded, so I've been curious about this place for a while. On this day, we visited without a reservation, but it was the first day of Golden Week and HalC itself was already packed with people from early hours. Fortunately, we were able to get in at just the right time as a group left, but by 5 pm, it was already full. We were lucky to get a table, so we could relax and enjoy. Everything we ordered that day was delicious, especially the sashimi which was very fresh (mackerel sashimi, horse mackerel tataki, amberjack sashimi, negitoro pickled daikon), as well as the conger eel tempura (with wasabi salt), white shrimp tempura, and grilled chicken with miso and leeks. Both my husband and I were very satisfied! The chicken nanban tartare had moist and juicy meat, the clam soup had plenty of big clams, and the smelt roe with grated yam and wasabi pickle were perfect accompaniments to the drinks. They also had a wide variety of drinks, including sake such as Den 7 from Fukushima (my husband got hooked on their Minowa Mon), and various plum wines. This restaurant is located in HalC's underground area, HalC, making it easy to stop by and with good access. The staff were friendly, and above all, all the seafood dishes were delicious, so I would definitely like to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

The open store, like a food court in a department store basement, surprisingly had good food. The eggplant pickles were interesting when eaten with charcoal salt, and the sashimi of sea bream exceeded expectations. They had a decent selection of Japanese sake, making it a good place for a quick drink.

I went to Shinjuku at the end of the year to have New Year's Eve soba, but I changed my plans and ended up at this seafood izakaya in the food court of Odakyu's Halutika. I decided to have a late lunch there. It was my first time using Halutika, and they had various lunch options like donburi and set meals, but I ordered the sashimi set meal (1080 yen tax included). After a while, it arrived. It included rice, pickles, salad, miso soup, and sashimi. The rice was shiny but slightly soft. The salad was nothing special, I would have preferred a different side dish. The miso soup was clam soup. The sashimi included tuna, amberjack, and mackerel, among others. The freshness was decent. It's a great place for seafood lovers. There were even people drinking during the day. I finally got the chance to visit.

I had the lunch set with Saikyo grilled cod and sashimi. The Saikyo grilled cod was small but well-seasoned and delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a nice, plump texture. The sashimi platter had three varieties, all of which were tasty. The price was a bit high, so I wished there was one more side dish included.

On this day, a Sunday which is known as "Good Meat Day", I went on an expedition to Shinjuku with some close friends led by my acquaintance, K-kun. But before that, we needed to adjust our stomachs, so where should we go? Since we're going to have meat later, how about some fish first? Oh, it's been a while, let's go there! And that's how we ended up visiting after 6 years - when we arrived, we noticed that the name of the restaurant had slightly changed. - Assorted sashimi platter (3 types) for 580 yen (excluding tax): Tuna, horse mackerel, and flathead fish. The slices were thin for this price. As for the taste, the tuna was average, not exceeding expectations. The horse mackerel was delicious and the flathead fish had the most flavor, which was great. - Appetizer for 200 yen: Simmered eggplant. Pretty standard. - Nara's Junmai Ginjo Sake "Shinomiya Jyojyo" 90ml for 360 yen: I wasn't expecting much, but the taste was distinct to Junmai and easy to drink! The price was reasonable, so it was easy to order and had a good feel to it. - Pacific saury sashimi for 380 yen: Not a recommended dish, but found it on the regular menu. Thinly sliced but with a good amount of fat, very delicious! Even better when paired with green onions. I really like oily fish. - Tomato Highball for 450 yen: Still had time before the next restaurant reservation, and felt like having a drink, so I ordered this. There were no customers when we entered, but soon after, 4 groups arrived. In the past, it used to be fully booked on weekends, so having this many empty seats was surprising. Overall, the restaurant here in Haruchika has a good selection of appetizers and Japanese sake. It's a place where you can casually drop by, and it's nice that there are seats available now. I have visited a few times. This izakaya near the station is recommended for sashimi! My favorite is the blowfish tempura. I eat it every time. I also love the taro tempura, although it wasn't available this time. Thank you very much. I will visit again.

Located in Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo. "Shokudo Sakaba ☆ Harchika" is one of the eight dining and drinking establishments on the MB3F floor of the Shinjuku West Exit HALC building. Established in Showa 20, it is a seafood izakaya under the Asahi Sushi Group. The nearest station is Shinjuku Station, the world's largest terminal. Harchika is very convenient and user-friendly (*^ω^) I used it for the second party of a yakiniku party organized by Mr. K in Gotanda. Initially, it seems that they were looking for a second venue in Gotanda, but it wasn't open maybe (-ω- ?) Everyone headed to Shinjuku, a transit point. I was still hungover from the previous day's excessive drinking at another meetup, so I left it to everyone else. I'm sorry (´。・д人)゙ Harchika is convenient, isn't it? I have been to a Korean izakaya with Mr. K, Mr. I, and Mr. P before. Today's orders: Delicious tuna sashimi 980 yen, Thick-cut ham cutlet 480 yen x2, Grilled gizzard with pepper 480 yen, Tomato juice, and appetizer. Excluding tax. Only my drinks are listed. I wasn't feeling sick, but I was sweating from the previous day's drinking and the alcohol (mixing makgeolli with wine) at the yakiniku party, so I focused on lowering my blood alcohol level by chugging tomato juice and water (〃ノωノ) I vaguely remember eating one gizzard...I wonder if I stayed for about an hour and a half? After a New Year's party with friends, we all headed to Shinjuku by train with our stomachs about to burst. I couldn't believe there was a drinking district like this at Odakyu HALC! And you can even drink during the day. This kind of space is just perfect ❤️. We ordered tuna, chicken gizzards, and ham cutlets. I was already so full that I couldn't eat anything else, so I just took pictures, but the ham cutlet looked so delicious (;_;). It seems like a shop that specializes in fish, but the tuna is definitely delicious. At times like this, I really wish I had a bigger stomach...

I came to a place like a food court called Haruchika in the basement of Odakyu HALC. Unlike a regular food court, you can't just sit anywhere, each store has its own designated area. It's full service here, with options like Korean cuisine, teppanyaki, and kushikatsu. I chose a seafood izakaya called Misashimiya. I ordered the regular seafood bowl for 980 yen. The restaurant was quiet, with only two customers at 11:46. The bowl arrived in 5 minutes, with low-sodium soy sauce on the table. The bowl was flat with a small amount of vinegared rice. They also offer a free large size option. It's not too bad for the price. It's not far from the station but surprisingly empty. Maybe it's a hidden gem!

Takaiido Asahi Sushi has expanded its presence not only along the Keio Line but also on the Odakyu Line and Chuo Line, mainly in the Jyosei area. They have a branch in the underground food court of Shinjuku Odakyu HALC, called Harchika, which is an izakaya style restaurant. When you sit at the counter, you are immediately given a wet towel. I ordered the "Choi Nomis Set" (980 yen + tax) with draft beer, yellowtail, and horse mackerel. Soon, a beer mug and a side dish of simmered vegetables (200 yen + tax) were served. I took a sip of beer and enjoyed it. In the early evening, the main customers are elderly people and Chinese tourists who are all there for drinking. The simmered vegetables were quite cold as they were chilled in the refrigerator, but they tasted delicious. The yellowtail and horse mackerel from the Choi Nomis Set arrived and they were well matured and quite tasty. The pride of a sushi restaurant is still maintained. I added a "Green Tea Highball" (450 yen + tax), and overall, it was a bit pricey, and I wish they could do something about the smoking situation. The total bill came to 1,760 yen.
