On Friday night, two of us visited and enjoyed a la carte dishes at the counter. The restaurant was bustling with customers and staff, creating a lively atmosphere. There were also some foreign customers due to the location. The sashimi platter (pictured, 2 servings for 2,500 yen) was fresh and flavorful. The deep-fried horse mackerel in vinegar sauce was not greasy and had a nice crispy texture, delicious. The specialty topped sushi was satisfying for a first visit. Even the crab fried rice at the end was very tasty. There were about 15 types of sake available, but it would be more enjoyable with explanations of the flavors and pairings. No complaints about the service, and the speed of food delivery was quick. We had a meal with dishes, a bottle of beer, and 4 servings of sake, totaling 15,000 yen for two people. I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while. I recently went to Uozuma in Kichijoji, but I wonder if they are part of the same group. I had a sashimi platter and then ordered grilled mackerel and Hokkigai. Mackerel is always delicious, right? The minced sardine was also tasty. It felt like eating raw fish balls. Uo Shin is one of my favorite izakayas. The course with all-you-can-drink for 5500 yen is very reasonable. Nogizaka has terrace seating, which is a good choice for fish lovers. They serve delicious dishes from sashimi to grilled fish, simmered fish, and rice dishes. The draft beer is Asahi Super Dry. I was very satisfied. The service at Uo Shin was exceptional. The image and reviews suggest that this is a cost-effective restaurant, but it's not really high in terms of cost performance. It's at a normal izakaya level, with slightly higher prices for drinks. When the sashimi platter for three people arrived, everyone thought it was for one person, so when three plates came, it seemed overpriced at around 3900 yen. If you expect something similar to Uogashi or other similar places, you will definitely be disappointed. It's just an ordinary izakaya that looks cheap, so be careful.

However, in this area, the seafood izakaya in the middle of the street stands out for their delicious kamameshi rice served as appetizer - it might be the first choice for many!
