無芸小食
At the intersection of Sudamachi, there is a picture of an old man with a red tie wrapped around his head, holding a glass of draft beer, surfing on gyoza. Next to him is a pink sign for the "Ichigo Headquarters." It's a strange scene. The Ichigo Headquarters seems to be unregistered on Tabelog, though. The old man seemed to be intrigued by the name "WARASHIBE GYOZA" but couldn't try it alone, so the visit was postponed. This place is a bar specializing in unique gyoza. Their recommended gyoza is the Cheese Fondue Gyoza, and they have around 20 different types of unique gyoza. There was a sign for the night gyoza set, limited to 10 servings per day. The set includes two dishes with all-you-can-drink option. Inside, there are about 14 seats at the counter on the left side, and about 18 tables on the right side. When asked if the night gyoza set was still available, the answer was yes. The night gyoza set (990 yen) includes 8 pan-fried gyoza, Kinoko Harusame salad, raw egg, pickled eggplant, rice, and miso soup. You can select up to four different types of gyoza with 2 pieces each. I ordered the weekday gyoza, weekend gyoza, red gyoza, and yakitori gyoza. I also ordered the 1-hour all-you-can-drink set (990 yen + tax) with a side dish (300 yen + tax). Started with a draft beer, followed by a highball, and then a Shaoxing wine. The night gyoza set arrived, including rice and miso soup. I tried the weekday gyoza first, followed by the weekend gyoza with garlic and chives. The red gyoza was spicy, and the yakitori gyoza was interesting but lacked impact. I switched from red wine to white wine for drinks. After 5 drinks in about 40 minutes, it seemed like I wasn't very welcome to stay longer, so I quickly finished with a Tamago Kake Gohan and paid 2,409 yen.
