I booked a limited-time course for 5,670 yen, which includes all-you-can-drink sake at a sushi izakaya in Ginza, which is a great deal. It was a rare smoking-permitted sushi izakaya, and I could faintly smell smoke from afar. I heard that if I asked, they would move me to a seat where the smoke wouldn't bother me much, but I didn't mind it that much, so I stayed where I was. There was plenty of space, but there were a few groups that seemed to be celebrating, so it was quite noisy. It may not be suitable for those expecting a quiet atmosphere. The food was all delicious. The sushi in the photo is for two people. Although there were only two of us, all the dishes were served as if they were for two people, which was a bit disappointing. Due to the pandemic, I wished they had separated the portions... The seaweed salad, three kinds of sashimi, fatty tuna roll, hamo shabu, kampachi, chu-toro, bonito, ankimo, golden eye snapper, shrimp (was it prawn?) were all delicious. One thing that was my fault was that we arrived late, so by the time we finished the course, the last order had ended, and we couldn't order anything else. The course alone might not be enough. Oh, I just realized while reading other reviews that the sea urchin and fatty tuna roll didn't come out. I felt a little disappointed, but maybe I had written when making the reservation that I don't like fish eggs or shellfish, so they might have given me something else. If that's the case, I'm very happy. But for Instagram-worthy photos, I might have wanted the sea urchin and fatty tuna roll. I don't particularly like them, but I can eat them, so it's okay.
