Located on the 1st floor of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi Hills. I hesitated in front of the sparkling showcase (too dazzling for commoners) and chose a cake while being gently smiled at by a calm female staff member. Shine Muscat Verrine for 935 yen. It's a jelly made of my favorite Shine Muscat. When I thought it was very heavy to carry, turns out the container was a glass. A thick-bottomed one. Like a rocks glass. (←just a guess) No wonder it's heavy. First, I picked off the white flower decoration and took a bite. Oh! It's just like sugar candy as I imagined. But it's delicious. The texture and mouthfeel. And the long thing that supported the flower. Oh! It snaps sweetly. It was candy craft. Delicious. Finally, the Muscat jelly. The Muscat is bursting with seasonal deliciousness. The jelly is smooth and enchanting. In the middle is cheesecake mousse, and at the bottom, sparkling wine jelly. The mousse is rich, and the jelly is intensely sweet. It looks refreshing, but surprisingly, it has a strong presence, and I liked it. Another one is a classic item, the Strawberry Shortcake (slice) for 669 yen. I couldn't help but feel that it's a reasonable price in terms of hotel cake prices. Is it the magic of the Grand Hyatt? Maybe because the Muscat jelly is expensive (probably because of the glass cost)? This is a very beautiful strawberry shortcake. Square-shaped with one strawberry and powdered sugar for decoration. The sponge is soaked in raspberry syrup. It was delicious like a dream. Ah, as expected. It's delicious enough for about 10 ordinary shortcakes. Strangely, 669 yen feels cheap when you think about it. I want to eat it again. This time, I want to eat it while having tea. But, I feel a little nervous. The staff members are all sharp but kind and friendly. When I asked for the shortest route to the Hibiya Line platform on my way out, they went outside the store and showed me. (When I entered, I accidentally wandered into the car rotary and asked the doorman for directions, embarrassing ← the doorman was also kind and friendly). So, with 100 store visits, embarrassing moments, broadening my knowledge, I'm enjoying it (^ ^). This place is definitely one of the 100 stores. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. As the name suggests pastries, they also sell bread.

This is a pastry boutique located on the first floor of the Grand Hyatt Hotel facing Roppongi Keyaki-zaka Street. You can enjoy the cakes from the pastry boutique at the attached restaurant "Florentina." Florentina is designed as an Italian cafe concept with a lounge-like atmosphere. The seating arrangement is spacious and well-spaced, typical of a hotel. There are also terrace seats available. I visited for cafe use and had their cake and coffee. I went alone around 7:30 pm on a Sunday, and about 70-80% of the seats were occupied by dinner guests. I was seated at an available table inside. I ordered the "Monte Bianco Francia" for 700 yen (tax included) and a "Cafe Latte" for 1100 yen (tax included). Including the service charge, the total bill was just over 2000 yen. The "Monte Bianco Francia" is a Mont Blanc made with French chestnuts. It is a limited-time product according to the staff. It consists of meringue sweets, cream, and chestnut paste, topped with chestnut fruit. The chestnut paste is made by mixing French chestnuts with rum, giving it a unique flavor with the natural sweetness of chestnuts and the fragrant aroma of rum. It was truly delicious. The meringue was so crispy and fluffy that it was a bit difficult to eat without crumbling, but the nutty flavor complemented the dish well, showing a high level of completion. I was unexpectedly able to enjoy a Mont Blanc that perfectly matched my taste, and it made me very happy. The Cafe Latte was large in size and delicious, allowing me to savor the slight bitterness of the coffee. The dim lighting and the good clientele created a very calming atmosphere. Being a hotel, the service was excellent as expected. I ended up relaxing and enjoying myself. The ambiance is indeed important. A return visit is definitely on the cards. Thank you for the meal.

I love the tiramisu here! I always make sure to order it. It's rich and moist inside. It costs 900 yen. I also bought the apple pie, which is not shown in the photos. It was recommended by the staff before. I always do takeout due to timing issues, but I hope to have a leisurely lunch or tea here someday.

Delicious sweets that make great gifts. I bought cookies for the first time. They were crispy, with a delicious buttery and coconut flavor. They are a bit on the sweet side. I would like to try other varieties as well.

I visited Fiorentina Pastry Boutique at the Roppongi Grand Hyatt. I had the strawberry shortcake, Mont Blanc, and iced coffee for eat-in. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, as expected from a top-notch hotel. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

At the back of the lobby of the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi, there is a cake and bread shop attached to an Italian restaurant. Bread is lined up at the entrance, and there is a cake showcase in the back. The Italian restaurant next door was fully booked. In the showcase, there are croissants, canelés, seasonal limited glass desserts, and the classics like strawberry shortcake, Mont Blanc, and ricotta tart. The box is stylish, practical, and fashionable. They even provide wooden forks and extra ice packs, showing the hotel's excellence. The paper bag is also cool! The croissant has a wonderfully beautiful layered texture typical of croissants. It's a large size with a satisfying texture. The strawberry shortcake has delicious whipped cream. You can taste the effort put into the whipped cream, syrup, sponge, strawberries, and cream layers. It's a classic taste with plenty of strawberries, a delightful treat. Thank you for the meal.

I chose the tiramisu since it's not yet time for parfait. It's light and fluffy, melting in my mouth in an instant. The berries add a nice touch of acidity, making it refreshing to eat. Before I knew it, I had finished it all. I'm enjoying it with a cup of hot coffee.

---------------------✍◆Address: 1F, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Roppongi Hills, 6-10-3 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo✍◆Access: 3-minute walk from Exit 1C of Hibiya Line Roppongi Station✍◆Business Hours: 9:00-21:30 (Cakes and tarts available from 10:00)✍◆Closed on: None------------------------Located within the Italian cafe "Fiorentina," this pastry boutique offers 30 varieties of cakes, tarts, freshly baked bread, and more for purchase.ORDER----------------◆Shine Muscat Verine (900 yen)◆Grand Premium Shortcake Shine Muscat (2,200 yen)◆Mont Blanc Japonaise (750 yen)◆Marquis (590 yen)------------------------【About the Dishes】◇Shine Muscat Verine: A refreshing treat with Shine Muscat flesh, Chardonnay juice jelly, and non-alcoholic sparkling wine jelly. Break the candy sculpture for a burst of freshness from the abundant Shine Muscat, with a stronger sweetness towards the bottom.◇Grand Premium Shortcake Shine Muscat: Features a smooth cream and brulee complemented by the high sugar content and fresh aroma of Shine Muscat. The sponge cake is light, and the cream, with 35-39% milk fat, is generously piped. The combination with sweet Muscat is delightful, reminiscent of the sweet and sour strawberry pairing. The outer white chocolate may be overly sweet for some, potentially overwhelming when paired with the cake.◇Mont Blanc Japonaise: Rich cream made from chestnuts with a hint of bitterness from the skin of Kumamoto chestnuts. Blended with unsweetened cream, chopped chestnuts, and piped with chestnut cream, offering a light sweetness and enjoyable chestnut flavor. The meringue base is not overly sweet, leaving a light aftertaste unlike traditional Mont Blanc tart bases.◇Marquis: A chocolate cake with layers of chocolate sponge and ganache, accented by the aroma of Grand Marnier (orange liqueur). The thick ganache pairs well with the sponge, and the Grand Marnier fragrance gradually unfolds in the mouth without being overpowering.【Impressions】I opted for takeout this time and enjoyed a lovely tea time at home. I look forward to trying their limited edition sweets the next time I'm in the area. ===========

I used the takeout service at this restaurant. When I entered, I was faced with a variety of cakes and had a hard time deciding. I tried the Mont Blanc, Peach Sparkling Berry Jelly, and a cheesecake with an unknown official name. The jelly seemed to be made with champagne as it had a hint of alcohol, giving it an adult taste. All of them were not too sweet, so I could easily finish them.

Today I had a premium draft beer, the foam was creamy and secretly raised my expectations. As expected, draft beer is delicious. There were cakes available, but I refrained from ordering as I had just eaten at the restaurant upstairs. I also went there for lunch yesterday, but there was a wait, so I went to the sixth floor, and now I regret not waiting here instead.

The chocolate was incredibly rich but not too heavy, and I devoured it in no time. There was no unpleasant feeling after eating something sweet, and it was refreshing. The croissant was big in size, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside, very delicious.

I arrived on a Saturday morning during the middle of Obon around 10 o'clock. It was my first time entering the Grand Hyatt, so I was nervous. There was only one group of customers, so I could leisurely choose and place my order. I bought one croissant for 370 yen and later ate it in the Roppongi Hills garden, and it was quite delicious! It was moist and had an elegant taste. Thank you for the meal ^ ^ I will definitely go again!

Located a 3-minute walk from Exit 1C of Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and a 6-minute walk from Exit 3 of Roppongi Station on the Toei Oedo Line, this sweets shop on the 1st floor of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog for 5 consecutive years. I purchased 3 types of bread for breakfast the next morning: Deep-Fried Keema Curry Bread, Tomato Curry Danish, and Blueberry Muffin. These delicious breads made with luxurious ingredients. I also bought a set of 6 cookies as a souvenir gift: Hazelnut Vegan Nut Caramel, Orange Sablita, Macadamia Gruyere Cheese Cookie, and Edam Cheese Cookie. I'm looking forward to trying their eat-in options next time. [Items purchased today]: - Deep-Fried Keema Curry Bread - Tomato Curry Danish - Blueberry Muffin - Set of 6 cookies

The highlight is the hotel's pastries. They were beautifully packed in a lovely paper bag. And the taste! The slightly salty yet sweet dough with just the right amount of sweetness and refreshing red bean paste was delicious! It's the best feeling when even ordinary things taste good. I think it was 270 yen? I felt like I got a great deal.

When staying at the hotel, it's a good place to have tea. The seats by the window are a bit hot, so I gave up. I like the soft serve ice cream and Ice Royal Milk Tea here. Well, the prices are hotel prices, so the cost performance is not great. It's delicious. By the way, refills for drinks are okay! But even the indoor seats were quite hot. Is the air conditioning not working?

- Strawberry Shortcake 4.0
The sponge cake is on the lighter side with a thin layer of strawberry sauce, topped with whipped cream and strawberries. The whipped cream is flavorful and delicious, while the strawberries are slightly tart. The sponge cake is moist and has a fine texture, which is nice.

A Mont Blanc dessert with chestnut cream on a bed of whipped cream. The chestnut cream may lack a bit of flavor, but it is still quite tasty. The whipped cream is not overly sweet and has a firm texture. The bottom is coated with chocolate meringue, which adds a crunchy and delicious element. The chestnuts on top are tasty.

It was delicious as usual. I was worried that the high ratings might be due to the Hyatt effect, as the reviews seemed mixed. However, on a Sunday around 3 pm, I visited the Italian eatery without any wait for takeout, although there was a line for dining in. There were still some cakes left, including a decent strawberry shortcake and Mont Blanc (which was said to be expensive to make on a TV show the day before). The shortcake was particularly delicious, with a refreshing cream that wasn't too sweet, complemented by the acidity of the strawberries. The Mont Blanc was good too, but nothing extraordinary. It was tasty overall, but nothing to write home about. It would have been better if the meringue had a stronger chestnut flavor.

Located in the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, a luxury hotel in Roppongi, there is a pastry boutique where you can purchase cakes and bread made with seasonal fruits. I wanted to take home some sweets, but due to a long journey ahead, I opted for bread. I chose my favorite curry bread, which was a luxurious curry bread with two types of cheese, yet surprisingly affordable at 250 yen. I had it for breakfast the next day and it was delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant seeking the summer sweets that were featured in the pamphlet. I was able to purchase one set of cup sweets with 4 pieces for a gift, but since there was only one set left, I couldn't buy any for myself... Both the grapefruit jelly and cream pudding were delicious!

Continuing from the Roppongi date with T-chan that I forgot to review, I visited two more places. I walked towards Iidabashi from Gaien Higashi Street, but the Clay Horse that I used to pass by trying to act grown-up during my university days was nowhere to be found. Of course, the Häagen-Dazs that I always stopped by on the way back is also long gone. It's not the Häagen-Dazs you buy at convenience stores now, but the kind sold in stores like 31 that was popular among girls. My wedding reception was at the disco GIZA in Square Building, but there's no trace of the old Square Building anymore. Of course, I enjoyed Roppongi with T-chan, feeling the passage of time and a bit of nostalgia. As for new places, it would be the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. I thought about having tea at the Italian cafe "Fiorentina" on the ground floor, but since I had one more place planned, I decided to get takeout from the pastry boutique connected inside. The first thing that caught my eye in the store was the Berryne, a glass dessert made with plenty of seasonal fruits. It was a summer sweets collection that felt cool like jewels, and although I wanted to take it home somehow since it can only be purchased from mid-June to the end of August, I had to give up as it was said to last a maximum of 2 hours even with a cooling bag and ice pack. I usually choose bakery items as I give up on the visually beautiful sweets made by the award-winning patisserie team at the World Pastry Cup, but since I bought too much bread that day, let's try the muffins. [Strawberry and Chocolate Muffin] 430 yen. A muffin with a taste that matches the acidity of dried strawberries and the sweetness of chocolate chips. It's very luxurious with a generous amount mixed in, but a bit heavy. [Ham and Cheese Croffin] 430 yen. Croissant dough made with French butter rolled with ham and Gruyère cheese, perfect for me who finds muffins as sweets too sweet. [Truffle Croffin] 430 yen. Croissant dough made with French butter rolled with truffle oil. I liked the truffle-scented muffin-shaped croissant croffin. I'm aware of the price at a pastry boutique in a first-class hotel, but it's not something I can afford for everyday use, of course. It's a souvenir for that special day when I visited this nostalgic town that has evolved after decades.

I purchased a fruit tart for a birthday celebration. When I visited the store, it seemed to be the last one, so they kindly put it aside for me while I finished my errands and then I returned to pick it up. The staff's service was excellent. The tart was loaded with fruits and cutting it was a bit challenging, but it was extremely delicious. I would love to try other cakes in the store next time as well. It was a wonderful place.
