Fresh oysters await you at this restaurant, which has become an oasis for salarymen. Located right under the Koshu Kaido, the nearest station is the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station. Just head left after exiting the south exit towards Otsuka Furniture. I sat at the counter with a friend. I've become accustomed to the routine of going out for meals at night, but I remind myself that being busy is also a sign of progress. I want to enjoy my meal and drinks in peace. The oysters here are top-notch, like something out of a fairy tale. The cost performance is also excellent. The head chef is great too! I had plenty of lemon sours.

A restaurant near Shinjuku South Exit that serves oyster dishes. I enjoyed fresh oysters, as well as fried oysters, oyster cheese, garlic sautéed oysters, and fried tuna. Everything was delicious, but the fresh oysters were the best. The staff were also friendly, making it a wonderful dining experience.

I always like sitting at the counter here. I may not notice much difference in the taste of oysters wherever I eat them, but the fried yam is really delicious. They also served me fresh sushi, and I was satisfied with their recommendations for the day.

I had a late lunch at a newly opened restaurant. Everything was delicious, and I talked with the person I went with about going back again. We had a platter of 3 types of raw oysters with rock oysters, dashimaki tamago with ikura, steamed white clams with oysters, seafood ochazuke. The oysters were fresh and had no odor, so we kept eating. The oysters from different regions had different flavors and smoothness, which made it fun to eat. The rock oysters were so big that I couldn't eat them in one bite. The dashimaki tamago was fluffy, and the saltiness of the ikura was just right and delicious. The steamed white clams were surprisingly large, and the broth was delicious. The oyster porridge had a gentle flavor and was perfect for finishing the meal. The seafood ochazuke had fresh sashimi on top and was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and we left the restaurant in a great mood. The other menu items looked delicious, so I will definitely go back again.

The oysters that are also in the name of the restaurant were delicious! Of course, the other dishes were also great! It is located very close to Shinjuku Station's Busta, making it an ideal location for our group this time. It's a popular place, so the timing for changing seats for reserved seats is strict (which is of course understandable), but it was a bit tough to wait in the scorching heat for our meeting (lol).

The oysters were delicious, and the side dishes were also amazing. The toro katsu was the best. The restaurant was quiet, allowing for enjoyable conversation while dining. The wakame salad was satisfying with a generous amount of seaweed, and the rolled omelette topped with ikura was luxurious. The assorted fresh oysters included large, sweet, creamy ones from Akkeshi. The toro katsu with grated daikon and wasabi was incredibly delicious.

I selected a few delicious-looking restaurants around Shinjuku Station, and since the menu other than oysters also looked delicious, I decided to visit. The tuna cutlet that many people had reviewed was really delicious! Today, I enjoyed a set of 6 oysters of 3 different types, including rock oysters and true oysters. The summer true oysters were refreshing and delicious. The avocado was perfectly ripe. The corn and squid tempura was a bit greasy and the fried food was not so great.

I have been to Oyster bars in Nakameguro and Shibuya a few times, so this time I tried this place. Despite being affiliated, it has a strong traditional atmosphere and is completely different. The oysters are large! I recommend starting with a mixed plate. The rare cutlet is amazing! It melts in your mouth... The shiitake mushroom tempura was quite oily, so I do not recommend it.

I have been to this restaurant many times. This time, I took a woman who loves oysters with me. Unfortunately, the "Enjoying Susaki Bay" course that I had reserved was canceled on the day because the ingredients couldn't be delivered. I am from Susaki, so I was really looking forward to it, so it was disappointing. Anyway, we ordered a la carte. We got a plate with four types of oysters, including rock oysters, toro katsu, salted straw fish, boiled eggplant and okra, and steamed clams. Unfortunately, they were out of clams, so I ordered the steamed clams with 10 oysters. A bit disappointing that they were out of some items. The Japanese sake was also limited, and they only had what was on the menu, so I ended up drinking four cups by myself. Despite the small disappointments, the food was delicious, and the female staff members were cheerful. They were even discussing which alphabet the word "month with delicious oysters" starts with, and a male staff member told them it starts with an "R." As we arrived late and were almost the last customers, the manager came to talk to us. Surprisingly, he mentioned that he would be leaving in four days and going to work in Germany. Even more surprising was that he didn't know where in Germany he was going. He just said "I'm going" when asked, without knowing anything about it, yet he was going to work there for a few years. In a way, he's quite an adventurous person. Since it's the summer when rock oysters are delicious, I will revisit soon. Thank you for the meal!

I used the restaurant without a reservation, but I was seated right away! There were both counter seats and table seats, and since the table seats were in a private room, I chose to sit at the counter. The counter was a bit small, but the staff arranged the dishes nicely and were very kind. I was able to smoke paper cigarettes at the table. It didn't seem like there was any particular smoking/non-smoking area, so if you're concerned, you might want to be careful when visiting. It was the summer season, so they had fresh rock oysters, which were large and plump! The seasonal bonito was also delicious.

Creamy named oysters are excellent and highly recommended! The staff at the restaurant are friendly and the food is very good. The oyster porridge and clams were also amazing! I would like to try the octopus tempura and rare cutlet next time! I wonder how many oysters I ate (lol). Highly recommended!

"Oyster Iriji" Shinjuku Hello, it's Mogusuke! The password is "Delicious has 0 calories!" Today, I will be sharing my experience at "Oyster Iriji," where I visited recently. The interior of the restaurant is stylish, with a counter, private tatami rooms, and even tables with kotatsu. I tried fresh oysters, beef tendon mentaiko hot pot, toro katsu, yellowtail sashimi, and ikura-topped dashimaki, among other dishes. The oysters were exceptionally large, and the toro katsu was incredibly delicious! Remember, delicious has 0 calories! Be sure to stop by when you're in Shinjuku. ------------------------------------- - Budget per person (including alcohol): ¥5000-¥7000 - Location: 1F Kiku Building, 4-2-8 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo - Nearest station: Shinjuku Station ------------------------------------- #TokyoGourmet #ShinjukuIzakaya #ShinjukuGourmet #ShinjukuSeafoodIzakaya #FreshOysters #OysterIzakaya #OysterBar #SeafoodIzakaya #ToroKatsu #BeefTendonMentaikoHotPot #OysterIriji #KantoGourmet #FoodiesUnite #Foodstagram #Drinks #ConnectWithDrinkLovers #ConnectWithIzakayaLovers #Izakaya #IzakayaGourmet #ConnectWithIzakayaLovers #IzakayaCrawl #YamanoteLineGourmet #ShinjukuDrinks #TokyoGourmet

I have visited this place several times. I love oysters, so I always order a large amount each time, it's amazing. Not only the oysters, but the rare salmon cutlet is so delicious that I can't forget it. If you want to eat oysters in Shinjuku, this is the place to go.

I found a restaurant near Shinjuku South Exit for a second round of drinks. I tried grilled and steamed oysters, as well as salmon belly. They were all delicious, even though I was quite full. I'd like to visit again when I have more room in my stomach.

I ordered a combination of grilled, steamed, and fried dishes. Personally, I found the steamed oysters to be incredibly delicious... Even when the fried oysters cooled down, they were still crispy and amazing... The deep-fried grated yam was fragrant and exactly to my liking! Thank you for the meal~~

Ghost replay confirmed store. We were looking for a second place while slightly tipsy. Suddenly, the desire to eat oysters arises. Alright, let's go eat delicious oysters. We head to this restaurant where we were able to make a reservation from the oyster list saved on Instagram. The interior of the store has a casual taste, with both tatami seats and counter seats. I was wondering what to order when a friendly gentleman behind the counter (sorry, I mean the staff) called out to me. I love this kind of frankness, so I immediately engaged in conversation. I ordered the recommended sake and oyster set. The oysters were surprisingly large. They were so plump and difficult to hold the shells by hand. The price was a bit high, but definitely worth eating. In addition to oysters, there were plenty of snacks for drinking enthusiasts. I ordered bamboo shoot tempura. I asked if it's okay for a woman to come alone, and surprisingly, many people come alone, too. The izakaya menu besides oysters is also extensive, so I would love to go there just for drinks. I will definitely go back.

I started drinking from the evening at the second bar, and when I was looking for a smoking-friendly place, I found a shop with my favorite theme of oysters and entered with three people. We had three types of fresh oysters, tuna toro cutlet, monkfish tempura, and eel tempura, among other dishes. We also had sake, lemon sour, and more. The bill came out to about 8,000 yen per person, which I thought was a bit expensive, but it turned out that the bill included other customers' orders as well, so we got around 1,000 yen back per person, making it 7,000 yen each. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and they even noticed and corrected a mistake in the bill, so overall, it was a good experience. It was a bit risky though.

The oysters were plump, very large, and delicious. There were seats at the kotatsu table, but unfortunately, we sat at the counter this time. The beer was also tasty and complemented the oysters well. I think the oysters vary depending on the season and region, so I want to go eat oysters regularly.

Three of us girls made a reservation. The location is a bit hard to find, so it's better to go with some extra time. We arrived by taking the escalator from the side of the Busta Shinjuku to Shinjuku Takashimaya. If you come out from the southeast exit, passing under the viaduct might be faster. We had fresh oysters, of course, but the specialty Toro Katsu was the best dish. There were only 4 pieces, so I want to eat it again!

I had been secretly curious about Shinjuku Oyster Restaurant for a while. It seems there are several branches in Shibuya, Nakameguro, and Shinagawa as well. Based on the photos, this one seems to be the oldest? It has an atmosphere of a traditional izakaya that has been around for a long time. Despite that, it is only a 2-minute walk from the southeast exit of Shinjuku. It is located just around the corner from the southeast exit Mac. When my friend and I arrived, we were seated at a kotatsu table on the first floor. Unfortunately, there was no kotatsu table (it was cold that day and we were seated near the entrance, so it would have been nice if there was one... > <). We started with a beer! It's rare to find Heineken draft beer here. It's easy to drink! The appetizer was the usual edamame! We then placed our order. First of all, of course, oysters! - Grilled oysters - Steamed oysters Ah, this is it... There was plenty of oyster soup in the shells. I slurped it up first. It was truly irresistible. It was a shame that the two steamed oysters were different in size. I wish they had been more consistent... But the taste was absolutely delicious. Both grilled oysters were large and excellent. I asked the staff for a recommendation and ordered the sashimi, which was highly recommended. It is named after the staff member who looks like an old man with a beard. It has a mild white meat flavor, but when you chew it, the umami comes out and the texture is slightly crunchy, making it enjoyable. - Large oyster with miso butter Because it's made with miso, it doesn't interfere with the flavor of the oysters. Oysters and butter are the best combination. For the second drink, I chose "shell lovers," a sake recommended by the staff. It was as easy to drink as water. It was a sake with a fairly strong acidity. - Ankimo with ponzu sauce - Oyster porridge - Dashimaki with salmon roe Everything was delicious... The ankimo with ponzu sauce, my first of the season, was just right with the sake. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they gave me various suggestions, and they were friendly and fun, making it a very enjoyable and delicious time. Thank you. I will definitely come back!!
