This restaurant was featured on TV by actor Masahiro Takashima for being delicious. This was my second visit to the restaurant, this time for a meal with four people. Location: 1F, Daiichi Honma Building, 2-23-10 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. Access: 8 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. At the recommendation of the organizer, who loves spicy food, we tried the GOKU KARA, which is said to be deliciously spicy. We started with a toast with beer and then enjoyed the following dishes: tongue, top loin, top kalbi, harami, intestine, kimchi, lettuce, ishimochi soup, and rice. As you can see in the photos, the spicy grilled meat was full of flavor and incredibly delicious. It was perfect for those who love spicy food. Eating the extremely spicy grilled meat while sweating in the heat of midsummer was a great experience. The fish soup we had as a finishing touch was also delicious. Crushing the fish and pouring it over rice created a taste that was addictive. If I ever crave spicy grilled meat again, I will definitely come back here! Thank you for reading until the end! If you could leave a 'like', 'follow', 'save the restaurant', or 'comment', it would be greatly appreciated and serve as motivation for the future. Thank you!

The specialty here is spicy sauce grilled meat. This is not a place where you should be talking about the quality of the meat, the cut, or how it is served. The best strategy is to go for rice + spicy marinated beef (extra spicy) + premium spicy beef (extra spicy) + beer + side menu.

I went to a Korean barbecue restaurant. I ordered the classic menu items like beef tongue, kalbi, loin, and harami, and they were all delicious. I was happy to see a variety of kimchi options. The rice was also tasty, and eating it with the meat was irresistible. I went on a Friday night, so walking back through Kabukicho was a bit stressful.

I was born in this city but visited for the first time. I was drawn in by the extremely unique service of the old man and tried various dishes. The grilled meat was decent, but the sauce was delicious. The side dishes here were excellent. The horse sashimi, herring sashimi, and fish stew were all delicious! I thought the appearance suggested a gentle flavor, but it was the opposite! The garlic was strong and it had a stamina-boosting flavor that I won't forget.

I love this old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant in Kabukicho, which has been in business for over 60 years. The owner, who is a favorite of mine, took me there for my first visit. Since then, I have been there a few times. I love that you can just walk in without a reservation. The must-try dish here is definitely the yakiniku with miso sauce. The sweet and savory miso sauce is absolutely amazing! My usual order includes tongue, skirt steak (thinly sliced), upper intestine, sirloin, short rib, tofu stew, namul, kimchi, and salad. Each dish is enjoyed with a light dipping sauce that washes away the rich marinade. As you eat, the sauce evolves and by the end, it's perfect for drizzling over rice. The short rib, in particular, is so good that you'll wonder if it's just regular short rib. The kindness of the staff, who bring out different cuts for refills, is also wonderful.

The meat is all miso-flavored by default, no smoking allowed, cannot use PayPay, no Wi-Fi, the tongue is served frozen and sliced, kalbi is delicious, sirloin is tough, harami is mediocre, kimchi is spicy and good, yukhoe is delicious, and there is plenty of rice.

I decided to try this place based on a recommendation from a friend. They said the salted tongue was the best, so I gave it a try right away. The seasoning with salt and pepper is done by yourself here. The taste was okay... average? But then I ordered a marinated dish and it was amazing! The spicy marinated roasted harami was so flavorful. You can eat it without dipping it in the sauce, and it's so tender and delicious. I also tried the salted harami, which you season yourself here, and it was easy to eat and went well with the rice. Speaking of which, the rice was also delicious. It was freshly cooked and shiny white rice, which was fantastic! ☺️

Visited the popular Shinjuku cost-effective yakiniku restaurant known for their "sweet and savory miso sauce yakiniku"! Located right in the heart of Kabukicho! The exterior has a rustic charm and inside, the kitchen is run by the owner alone, while a lady manages the hall. Each table has a round charcoal grill, giving off a nostalgic vibe that is quite comforting. The white paper aprons add to the old-school charm. ---Meal Items--- A la carte: - Namul ¥470 - Tongue salt grill ¥1150 - Horse meat yukhoe ¥1150 - Harami (skirt steak) in sauce ¥1100 - Sirloin in sauce ¥1150 - Yukhoejang soup ¥770 You can choose between salt and sauce for the meat, with the sauce options ranging from 7 levels of spiciness. The sweet and savory miso sauce lives up to its name, enhancing the flavor dramatically! The horse meat yukhoe can be enjoyed raw, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It's delicious even when paired with vegetables. Will definitely visit again! "Amazakitei" in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. Located right in the heart of Kabukicho, near the ward office street. This is a restaurant where you can eat "super spicy yakiniku," so I visited with my spicy food-loving friends. The menu seems to have different levels of spiciness. First, we tried the normal meat to check the quality. ・Tanshioyaki 1,150 yen, Haramishio 1,100 yen. The meat was frozen... "Please sprinkle salt and pepper when it starts to thaw," they said. The tongue was thin and small, and the quality of the Harami meat was so-so. Since this is a restaurant that recommends super spicy dishes, we decided to order something extremely spicy. ・Harami 1,100 yen, Usumino 1,440 yen. A plate of meat generously coated with super spicy miso sauce arrived. It was hard to tell if it was cooked, but when I took a bite, it was sweet and spicy, with a deep flavor. The spiciness gradually builds up, but you can still taste the umami within the spiciness. It seems to go well with meats like mino and hormone. The taste is addictive, the more you eat, the more you want. For those who love super spicy food, it's not too much to handle. In fact, you might even want a bit more. So, we decided to order the highest level of spiciness, "super spicy on top." ・Harami 1,100 yen. Super spicy on top. I see, they sprinkle even more chili peppers on top of the super spicy sauce. Honestly, it was spicy. But because the base spicy miso was well done, it was enjoyable. The meat quality was not the best, but it's safe to say that this homemade spicy miso sauce is everything. With some white rice, you can keep eating without any doubt. The total bill for two people was 7,300 yen. Our stomachs were on fire, so we decided to move on to Ajisen in Kanda next."

I think I may have had too high expectations. The spicy BBQ is famous here, but the quality of the meat was just okay depending on the dish. However, I think it's good for nibbling on while drinking. The level of spiciness is normal and sufficient. Oh, the extra rice portion is like something out of a Japanese folktale. Thank you for the meal. I'm not sure if I'll come back next time...

Located right at the eastern end of Kabukicho, my friends and I visited this restaurant for a drinking session. My friend had made a reservation in advance, so we arrived at 7:00 pm on a Friday. It felt like a typical pre-COVID Friday night, with the atmosphere lively. We ordered a la carte yakiniku, with a charcoal grill set at the table for us to cook the meat ourselves. We also ordered side dishes like kimchi and toasted with beer. We ordered various cuts of meat like tongue, loin, ribs, and hormone to grill. The tongue required us to season it with salt ourselves, which was a unique touch. The restaurant also prides itself on its spicy sauce, offering different levels of spiciness. One of my friends bravely ordered the spiciest option, which packed a punch but had a rich miso flavor. While I wasn't completely satisfied with the quality of the meat, the spicy yakiniku was an interesting experience. After enjoying plenty of meat and drinks, the bill came out to be quite reasonable for the amount we consumed.

I have a favorite yakiniku restaurant in Kabukicho that has been around for a long time. They have all the typical meats, but I recommend trying their specialty, Kobukuro's thin and thick cuts. They can adjust the spiciness for you, and it goes perfectly with a highball. It's a great place for drinkers. Ryotaro is still in good spirits today.

I visited this place for the first time and had my meat grilled for me, which was a new experience for me! The meat I grow myself is delicious, but being able to focus on eating grilled meat is also great! This place is just too delicious. It's a bit pricey, but I'm satisfied!

I saw Takashima Masahiro eating it on TV, so I decided to visit! The super spicy miso grilled meat was incredibly delicious after a drink~ It was different from the usual sauce, the spicy miso was used to coat the meat in a great way! The Yukgaejang soup at the end was also delicious~ I will definitely visit again! www

This restaurant is recommended for people who love spicy food! If you're not a fan of spicy food, you'll be feeling it the next day. When I visited, I saw some Yoshimoto comedians dining there. It's a popular spot with a variety of customers. I tried two levels of spiciness and enjoyed the challenge of finding the right level for me. Those who can handle the heat can keep adding more spice, but those who can't were struggling after just one bite. They have a good selection of side dishes, and even though it's not a big restaurant, it's a great place to eat.

I'm sorry, but honestly it's not delicious. It has received high ratings, but there is no particular focus on the quality of the meat. It's better to stop serving frozen meat as it is. The meat is thin and it's unclear what they specialize in. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. However, the food itself was not a good match.

I was surprised to realize that I had never reviewed this place before. This restaurant is famous for its spicy miso grilled meat. They also have non-spicy options, but I decided to go for the spicy one this time. I kept it simple with salt for the liver and tongue. You can choose the level of spiciness, and even the lowest level was quite spicy. It was deliciously spicy and went well with alcohol. The person at the table next to me was eating a large portion of rice with meat like a character from an old Japanese folktale. The kimchi was also quite spicy. I enjoyed the food and the drinks.

Here is the district office street in Shinjuku, Tokyo. A yakiniku restaurant that is open until late at night. It may have been about 20 years since my last visit. ● Tan (tongue) salt - it was a frozen type. The taste was decent. ● Upper kalbi (short rib) salt - quite marbled. The meat was somewhat firm. ● Kalbi tare (marinated short rib) - marinated in a rich miso sauce. The lean meat was tender. This might be recommended. ● Senmai tare (marinated beef intestine) - marinated in a flavorful sauce. This was also good. ● Tegutan (beef tongue) - also a rich type. It's good when served over rice. Thank you for the meal. Until next time.

After reuniting with the two monsters of Lamborghini foodies, we indulged in dessert hormone at "Aji Rakutei" in Shinjuku, seeking the same level of spiciness as yesterday's meal. Just like "Gennkukan" was straightforward, "Aji Rakutei" is more sophisticated, with a deep sweet and spicy sauce that makes you want to eat endless amounts of white rice. It offered a different kind of spicy and delicious yakiniku compared to the wild spiciness of "Gennkukan" from last night. The perfect grilling skills of the yakiniku empress were also impressive!
