IKKO'S FILMS
"Amazakitei" in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. Located right in the heart of Kabukicho, near the ward office street. This is a restaurant where you can eat "super spicy yakiniku," so I visited with my spicy food-loving friends. The menu seems to have different levels of spiciness. First, we tried the normal meat to check the quality. ・Tanshioyaki 1,150 yen, Haramishio 1,100 yen. The meat was frozen... "Please sprinkle salt and pepper when it starts to thaw," they said. The tongue was thin and small, and the quality of the Harami meat was so-so. Since this is a restaurant that recommends super spicy dishes, we decided to order something extremely spicy. ・Harami 1,100 yen, Usumino 1,440 yen. A plate of meat generously coated with super spicy miso sauce arrived. It was hard to tell if it was cooked, but when I took a bite, it was sweet and spicy, with a deep flavor. The spiciness gradually builds up, but you can still taste the umami within the spiciness. It seems to go well with meats like mino and hormone. The taste is addictive, the more you eat, the more you want. For those who love super spicy food, it's not too much to handle. In fact, you might even want a bit more. So, we decided to order the highest level of spiciness, "super spicy on top." ・Harami 1,100 yen. Super spicy on top. I see, they sprinkle even more chili peppers on top of the super spicy sauce. Honestly, it was spicy. But because the base spicy miso was well done, it was enjoyable. The meat quality was not the best, but it's safe to say that this homemade spicy miso sauce is everything. With some white rice, you can keep eating without any doubt. The total bill for two people was 7,300 yen. Our stomachs were on fire, so we decided to move on to Ajisen in Kanda next."
