The atmosphere was fun and the distance between tables was well maintained. The drinks and food were served quickly and tasted delicious. It's good that there is a 2-hour time limit during busy hours, but be sure to keep track of your own time as there is no last order announcement and you may be suddenly asked to leave when your time is up.

Looking under the elevated structure of the Koshu Kaido from Shinjuku South Exit, there seems to be a lively beer garden-like space! They also serve lunch, so I decided to enter. Oh my, the place is decorated with impressive lanterns hanging down, giving off a Taiwan or Bangkok vibe. I opened the tablet to check the recommended menu and ordered the Gapao Rice today. It came with coriander, creating a tropical atmosphere. The set also includes soup and a drink bar. Ah, I wish I could go on a trip abroad... ☆Tabelog Rating: 3.41 Business Hours: 11:00-15:00 (Lunch) Closed: Irregular holidays Payment: Cards, electronic money, QR codes accepted #ShinjukuLunch #ShinjukuSouthExitLunch #ShinjukuSanchomeLunch #ShinjukuAsianCuisine #SanagiShinjuku #CorianderLover

Not bad, but I'm not sure if I would go back again. The Gapa0 is 1380 yen and the Lurohan is 1480 yen, with free refills on soft drinks. The prices may be set because of that. The tables are shaky and the drinks are decent, but not enough to make you want a second one. The food tastes pretty ordinary, but the bowls they serve it in end up being quite messy. It's not quite like the authentic experience.

I went to a famous Sanagi and it was great! The atmosphere was nice. It was a bit warm inside, but the beer was delicious. It would be better if the inside was a bit cooler though. Maybe it's difficult because it's under the train tracks? The snacks were just average in taste.

⭐️Location⭐️ Shinjuku Station South Exit, under the Koshu Kaido overpass ⭐️Recommendation⭐️ This place has an Asian street food vibe with mega-sized drinks that are perfect for Instagram photos. It's a trendy alley-style spot located in places like Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, Shinjuku East Exit Alley, and Odakyu HALC underground. They were one of the pioneers of Asian street food style eateries. The prices are a bit high for what you get. The Gapaopotestara, which is Thai basil chicken on top of potato salad dumplings, is just average. The chicken with wasabi soy sauce might not be suitable for those who don't like wasabi. Since it's styled like a street stall, the seating consists of round stools and it can get pretty crowded and noisy.

I don't know much about Shinjuku, so I was excited to explore. I was planning to go to Shogun Burger in Shinjuku, but stumbled upon this place by chance. It looked sparkly, so I suggested we try it out, and surprisingly, it turned out to be good. I was a bit nervous when I said that, thinking what if the food isn't good. But as soon as we entered the restaurant, all my worries disappeared. It had a vibe like an overseas food stall, with beautiful lanterns. It felt like something that would be beautifully captured by a professional like Mai Rebi. The lunch came with a drink bar, offering healthy options like fruit-infused water, jasmine tea, iced coffee, and iced tea. I opted for the Pho, which reminded me of Vietnam. It was a steamed chicken and coriander Pho for 1090 yen, served with a sweet steamed bun and jade dumplings. The Pho tasted light and delicious, just like the ones you would have at a street stall in the original country. My husband had the Dim Sum set for 1550 yen. It was a restaurant where you could experience an overseas atmosphere.

The atmosphere was very nice♡ The clientele consisted of two girls, inbound tourists, and a young group. The choice of hard plastic chairs and tables was a bit of a miss - when the person next to you moves, you have to move too, making it a bit uncomfortable. We ordered a Mojito (825), a Lemon Sour (715), and paid a cover charge (200). The ceiling lanterns were very beautiful and the neon lights added a cool vibe to the interior. However, both drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all, maybe they were being considerate of the customers' health. It's better to order beer here. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first time visiting for lunch. The atmosphere was different from the evening, and there were fewer customers, so I was able to leisurely enjoy the interior of the restaurant. I also thought that the lunch set was a good deal because it included a drink!

Visited on a Sunday around 12:30 pm with two friends and we were able to get in without waiting in line. The interior has an Asian theme and the menu is quite extensive, offering Chinese dishes, set meals, and noodles. We ordered a set meal with fried food as the main dish. Ordering a lunch set allows access to a drink bar, which offers a selection of slightly upscale drinks. The food arrived in about 10-15 minutes. While the taste was nothing exceptional, we were pleased with the generous portion size. (My friend who ordered noodles seemed a bit disappointed with the portion size, but they may just have a big appetite.) The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the location near Shinjuku Station and the ability to get in quickly even during peak hours make it worth it. Will definitely use it again when needed.

I post gourmet information on Instagram! ▶︎ @chaton___gourmet An Asian cuisine restaurant just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The restaurant is super cute! Open from 11:00 to 15:00 ▶︎ Lunch set menu (rice and noodles available) and drinks only from 15:00 to 17:00 ▶︎ Cafe time with light snacks and drinks only from 17:00 to 23:00 ▶︎ Dinner. You can order various snacks! - Order: Steamed chicken and coriander pho (¥1,090) (includes 2 dim sum and drink bar) We arrived before the switch to the 15:00 cafe time, so we ordered the lunch menu and shared it. The lunch menu is in the 1,000 yen range and comes with a drink bar, so it's cost-effective! Orders are placed through a tablet at the table. After 15:00, the tablet content changes, and you can order items like dumplings. I was interested in many items on the evening menu, so I want to go again. Thank you for the meal! I found a relatively newly opened restaurant near Shinjuku South Exit and decided to check it out. The menu had a variety of dishes such as dim sum, oden, ethnic cuisine, sushi, fried foods, and desserts. I ordered roast beef salad for 1200 yen, along with xiaolongbao, yam wun sen, and gai yang. They also had 1L beers and sours for drinks. The restaurant had a great entertainment factor and the interior was designed to be visually appealing. The dishes were all delicious and the drinks were recommended to be ordered in their original form for a stronger taste. The target customers seemed to be in their 20s and 30s. The seating was on a 2-hour limit, and I was a bit surprised when they brought the bill before we were finished eating and drinking. Overall, it was an interesting and fun restaurant with a high entertainment value.

I made a reservation for a course! The dishes were beautifully arranged, starting from the appetizers. I chose the fried food course, and the fried food was served in a large boat, which got me really excited. The service was excellent, and they even prepared the most popular seat where you can take stylish photos!! The interior of the restaurant was cute, the service was great, and I enjoyed delicious food and drinks!

"Sanagi Shinjuku" ☎️ 03-5357-7074 Reservation → Available (Not available on weekends and holidays) Location → 3-35-6 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo ⏰ Business Hours → Lunch 11:00-15:00, Cafe 15:00-17:00, Dinner 17:00-23:00 Closed on → Irregular holidays Payment methods → Credit cards, electronic money, QR code accepted Average price → 4000 yen I've always been curious about this Asian-themed restaurant under the elevated tracks in Shinjuku. It's conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Southeast Exit! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute, and even though I went early on a weekday, it was quite busy with a lot of young girls. The cost performance may not be the best, but considering the atmosphere and location of the restaurant, it's reasonable. By the way, the drink in the photo was served in a 1-liter test tube. There are plenty of seats, and they even have semi-private rooms! I forgot to take a photo of the rice, but the xiaolongbao and milk spring rolls were exceptional.

After work drinks with colleagues. We wanted to have a quick drink since we have work the next day, so we went out for a little bit. The inside of the restaurant was decorated with colorful lanterns, giving off a Taiwan-like atmosphere. It was perfect for enjoying a quick drink. Nearby, some people were ordering a large and fun-looking drink. It reminded me of a really long glass I once had abroad. I can't really describe it well without a photo, but basically, it was the kind of drink that young people would enjoy. The restaurant is conveniently located right in front of an escalator that leads to Shinjuku Station, making it a great spot for a quick drink.

*The shop is easy to find under the elevated railway! There is a terrace and indoor seating. The variety of dishes available is very appealing! It's a great choice when you're having trouble deciding on a place to eat! This is my third visit! (*´꒳`*)* *Dishes: Clam and pork shabu-shabu, Aojiru ginger soy milk pho with tenshin (coconut-flavored bun), and a drink bar.* *The soup is really delicious! You can taste the flavor of the clam broth, and it's so good that you'll want to finish it all! Tenshin is like a coconut-flavored bun? (It's like just the bun part of a meat bun.) You also get another type of tenshin! Personally, I've become addicted to the coconut flavor, haha (*´꒳`*) The drink bar has a great variety, which is really nice! Personally, I think the pink grapefruit water is delicious!* *This is my third visit! The lunch is well-balanced, cost-effective, and you can have a pleasant lunch experience! When a train or truck passes by, the shop shakes, haha. Next time, I think I'll try a rice bowl or set meal! I feel like going back again soon! (*⁰▿⁰*)*

The interior of the store had different vibes in different areas, making it fun to choose. It had a trendy feel. At night, there were many menu items that felt like izakaya dishes, with alcohol options available. However, there was also a wide variety of drinks available as a cafe, and desserts like parfaits that were cute and delicious. It was a great experience.

I had been curious about this food court for a while. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it seemed like a place with a street food vibe. And guess what? They have tantanmen noodles! And it comes with two pieces of dim sum. How awesome is that? So I decided to give it a try. Oh, it seems like the cool writing style is their default look!

Every time I passed by, I was curious about it. I thought it was a food court-like place, but it turned out to be a cafe! I was guided to a kotatsu seat. It was so cozy that I didn't want to leave. I can't judge the overall taste as I only had potatoes and beer, but the place was crowded and the menu variety was good. The cafe is cute and has a nice atmosphere, although it can be a bit nerve-wracking when the train passes by and shakes the place.
