I learned about this restaurant from my older sister, and this time we celebrated her birthday here. We had the weekday limited omakase short course for 3900 yen, which included two small appetizers, an appetizer, pasta, dessert, petit fours, and coffee. Except for the green olive croquette as one of the small appetizers, the menu was different from when I came in April, so I enjoyed it once again this time. The highlight this time was the pasta! It was made with green peppers, and the perfect bitterness combined with the generous amount of cheese was absolutely delicious. The service was as wonderful as always, and we had another lovely lunchtime. Looking back, we've always been taken care of for someone's birthday. I truly think this is the perfect place for celebrations. Starting from August, there will be a price increase, and this short course will be 4400 yen.

【Enjoying Food and Wine in a Japanese-style House】We started with some bubbly and selected wines to pair with our dishes. There were various wines available, all delicious and top-notch. We could try wines that we wouldn't normally choose ourselves. The meal started with appetizers! New onions, sea urchin, jelly with seafood and mountain vegetables, a dish of vegetables, lobster pasta - so delicious! Green peas, lamb risotto, and when paired with cheese, it was amazing. The horse meat steak was superb, and the served turnip was incredibly tasty! For dessert, there were plenty of crunchy apples, which I personally love - very satisfying ♡ Lastly, there were some tasty petit fours and wine, but I forgot to take a picture... Both the food and wine were a feast. 【Just one thing to note!】The restaurant is lovely, the food and wine are delicious, it's all fantastic, but... the entrance is very hard to find, haha. What? Is this the right place? The entrance is in the parking lot of an apartment building. Two missed passes, tears. But overall, it adds to the new experience and sense of adventure, so I recommend looking forward to visiting ♡

In February 2023, I visited with 4 friends (*´∀`*)ノ Since we had such a great time last time, I brought along my "foodie friend from Sapporo" and "foodie friend from Tokyo" to dine together this time (*´∀`*) It was another fun day~ My friends who love wine were thrilled. There were only delicious wines that you can't find anywhere else but here, and wines we had never tasted before. And the various dishes that paired perfectly with the wines. It was enjoyable chatting with the owner and hearing about the wines. The abalone photo, isn't it amazing? It was just the best. The meat and pasta were delicious, but the abalone left a lasting impression. I want to go again with my friends. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The location is quite unique, with an Italian restaurant in a Japanese house beyond a parking lot of a certain apartment building. Upon entering, you can feel a sense of Japanism with the water feature, but it may be slightly off-putting for Japanese people to enter with shoes on. Despite its mysterious atmosphere, the hospitality is quite impressive. The explanations of the wine and dishes are thorough. Starting with a sparkling rosé, we requested wine pairings for each dish. The dishes were very satisfying. The first dish consisted of salt-cured sea urchin, consommé gelée aged for 24 hours, and turnip, drizzled with fresh olive oil. The sea urchin's saltiness tied everything together, and the aroma of the olive oil at the end was quite beautiful. The second dish of black abalone, caviar, and mashed potatoes was the best of the day. Delicious! I can't say anything else... The image of a female diver came to mind, briefly taking a trip to Ise (unclear if it's from Ise). The third dish was lobster, cooked with herb breadcrumbs and a sauce made with lobster miso, giving it a fragrant taste. The sauce was a combination of three types, pairing well with white wine. The fourth dish was pasta with mushrooms and plenty of black truffles. The fifth dish was pasta with white truffles. Truffle lovers would be in heaven with these two dishes. Bliss. The aroma of truffles. The sixth dish featured horse meat with three types of carrots. For dessert, there was a gentle strawberry sauce with a cream cheese gelato, paying attention to texture and a hint of herb fragrance to avoid being too child-friendly. I gulped down the espresso refill and felt satisfied. Towards the end, the alcohol started to affect me, making it hard to articulate, but the wonderful flavors made me want to visit again.

I indulged in a course meal abundant with luxurious ingredients like sea urchin, abalone, and plenty of truffles. The extravagant feast continued without a break. The luxurious ambiance of the restaurant was also excellent. The wine pairing was also fantastic.

This is a renowned restaurant in Edogawabashi. I believe it's a place that never disappoints, no matter who you go with or what the occasion is. It has a unique atmosphere with a blend of Italian cuisine and Japanese-style architecture and interior design, featuring spacious seating arrangements with tables not too close to each other. There are no time limits even for course meals, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the dishes. Note that there is a dress code, but seeing customers dressed up only adds to the wonderful ambiance of this place. The interior design and tableware are exquisite, and the Italian wine complements the dishes perfectly. From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious. Besides the taste and atmosphere, what I love most about this restaurant is the top-notch service. The staff are smart, assertive yet attentive, making it a foolproof choice for any occasion. Since Christmas was approaching on the day of my visit, the restroom featured a fun display with Doraemon and Korosuke wishing "Merry Christmas." This restaurant strikes a balance between stylish sophistication and playful charm. Whether it's a date, a business meeting, or a family meal, you can't go wrong here. Highly recommended!

In December 2022, I visited alone (*´∀`*). Currently living in Tokyo, I, R, often go restaurant hopping in Sapporo. When I went to an Italian restaurant in Sapporo and chatted with the chef, he mentioned, "I live in Edogawa Bridge, but there are no good restaurants nearby" (´・ω・`)←R. "There's only an eel restaurant" (´・ω・`)←R. I was complaining like that. Then, the chef interjected, saying, "What are you talking about, R-san" (;´Д`)ノ. "There must be a famous Italian restaurant in Edogawa Bridge" (;´Д`)ノ. "During my training days in Tokyo, I went there alone to study" (;´Д`)ノ. I had no idea... I usually check Tabelog frequently, but since the search targets were areas like Shinjuku and Bunkyo with rank displays, I never searched by the nearest station. I hurriedly looked it up and found it, "Ristorante La Barricato Tokyo." It's located behind a mansion in Kagurazaka, with a name as hard to remember as L'Agneau Bouchon Lyon. I walked by the front of the restaurant several times while walking, but couldn't find it even after multiple attempts, walking on the pin on Google Maps with no luck. After a few tries, I finally found it. If a chef friend recommends a famous restaurant, I have to go. I visited alone first. I was excited to visit this new place, and oh~~~ (*´∀`*) it was wonderful. It's been a while since I had so much fun dining alone at a restaurant. The service staff, sommelier, and owner were all very pleasant to talk to, and the dishes were all fantastic. Even the carbonated water was delicious. They seem to have quite rare wines, but I won't go into detail as I'm not very knowledgeable about them. All the dishes were delicious. They were designed with just the right balance of umami, saltiness, aroma, and temperature to complement the wines, and I was just amazed. The portions were just right for me (*´∀`*). It's been a while since I had this much fun dining alone. Next time, I'll bring my friends. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I told my voice actor friend Iwai Mai about when my mother and I went to the Louis Vuitton café V before, and she said, "That sounds nice!" So my mother said, "I'll treat you to tea next time." She always takes care of Mai-chan, so it was a way to thank her. Since September is Mai-chan's birth month, I contacted her and invited her for lunch. I asked if she had any place in mind similar to the Louis Vuitton café within the same budget, and she said she wanted to go to "Ristorante La Barricato Tokyo." La Barricato Tokyo is an Italian restaurant in Edogawa Bridge. It's a hidden gem of a restaurant in a standalone house that you reach by passing through the parking lot of the building in front. The interior is completely Japanese-style, with even a tokonoma alcove, but you can go in with your shoes on. We had made a reservation, so we were smoothly guided to our table. My mother and I ordered pomegranate soft drinks. We ordered the "Weekday Limited Chef's Choice Short Course." It included two small appetizers, a pasta dish, dessert, coffee, and homemade sweets. We were served grissini sticks first, which seemed homemade and had a nice spice to them. The small round fry was stuffed with meat inside olive fruit, which was a first for me. The bread, two types, was crispy on the outside and moist inside, very delicious. They didn't serve olive oil or butter. The cold potage had ice floating in it, made of soup, which was served because it was still warm outside. The smoked tuna appetizer had a nice smoky aroma. The main course of the short course was a pasta dish with meat and porcini mushroom sauce using fresh pasta. The porcini mushrooms seemed to be fresh and had a rich flavor that I liked. Mai-chan had a dessert with a message plate in Italian wishing her a happy birthday. It was pineapple and pineapple mint sorbet with coconut milk. I ordered a café au lait for coffee. The petit fours included edible ground cherries, petit financiers, and cookies. The staff members came and went, timing our meal perfectly and serving the dishes at just the right moments. We took a commemorative photo since it was a special occasion. The restaurant also gave us a deep red rose and a printed photo as a gift! I had only requested a message plate, so I was truly moved by this surprise. When there is such heartfelt service and hospitality, you can't help but want to come back! Of course, the food was delicious, and I'm glad Mai-chan enjoyed it too.

I finally went to this restaurant that I've been wanting to visit for a long time. It's a 4-minute walk from Edogawabashi. There's a lovely Japanese-style restaurant here, which made me wonder, "Is there a restaurant here?" The interior is also very nice. I felt unsure if I should enter with my shoes on. They offer a weekday-only short course for 3900 yen, which includes freshly baked bread and grissini, making you feel full. I had a glass of champagne for 2600 yen^_^! ⭕️ Cute olive fritters, delicious and elegant. ⭕️ Gazpacho-style soup, delicious! ⭕️ Grilled tuna, exquisite!!! They adjust the grilling time depending on the tuna cut. ⭕️ Pasta with meat stew sauce, very delicious. ⭕️ Beautiful pineapple dessert, stunning, my first time trying a summer dessert. ⭕️ Cute chocolate-covered physalis. ⭕️ Coffee. When you mention it's your birthday when making a reservation, they give you a lovely message in Italian and a beautiful rose. They also give you a photo as a gift. The bill came to about 7000 yen. The drinks were not listed on the menu but explained verbally. The champagne was 2600 yen without prior explanation of the price. I was a bit surprised by how expensive it was, considering I chose the weekday-only course. Lovely service, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd like to visit again, but next time, I'll ask about the drink prices beforehand.

I visited Barique Tokyo for the first time in a while! I used a private room for the first time, and it had a very calming and beautiful atmosphere. I think it's perfect for a business dinner where you want to have a proper conversation. The dishes were all exquisite, especially the prawn dish and the lamb dish were delicious!! The wines recommended by the sommelier were a perfect match. The tea sweets at the end were unique and delicious. I definitely want to go again!!

This restaurant is located in a place near Edogawabashi that you might not find if it wasn't for this restaurant. The location of the restaurant itself is also hard to find, and I remember being confused on my first visit. This time, on my second visit, the various wonderful dishes impressed me and I was very satisfied.

【Order】Weekday limited chef's choice short course with champagne【Price】Approximately 5,500 yen per person【Rating】Located a 5-minute walk from Edogawabashi Station. Visited during weekday lunch peak hours with a reservation. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but the interior design utilizing an old folk house is very charming. The customer service, including when making a phone reservation, was top-notch and very pleasant. Everything was delicious, but the bonito appetizer and linguine pasta were exceptionally tasty. Will definitely revisit. Next time, I look forward to enjoying the main meat and fish dishes during dinner. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

A hidden gem restaurant renovated from a 70-year-old traditional Japanese house where the owner was born and raised. We were led to a private room on the second floor and ordered the chef's choice course. The attentive hospitality of the staff made for a relaxing dining experience. The menu included dishes like green olive with minced meat, clam fritters wrapped in lard with celery and clam broth sauce, chilled dish of black abalone and bamboo shoots from Sanriku with abalone liver and wood sorrel sauce, grissini (with cumin and dill), Italian white asparagus with egg yolk fritter and 19-month-aged prosciutto, snow crab and zucchini pasta with purple shiso, Toyama firefly squid and celery risotto, Hokkaido black wagyu lamp with summer truffle and spring cabbage roll, and dessert (vanilla, hazelnuts, American cherries, and fruit cheeks). The wine pairing was also superb.

A nice Italian restaurant with a classic atmosphere. The squid sauce and beans with couture were not only beautiful, but exquisite when chewed in the mouth. The meat, known as lamp meat, was accompanied by sweet baby cabbage, and the paste was just as good as the meat! There were touches like chocolate-coated cape gooseberries, olive fritters with champagne, and olive dishes on elegant Herend plates. Everything was elegant and luxurious, yet cohesive and visually pleasing. There were many bottles of Tuscan red wine and GAJA dessert wine lined up, offering a wide selection even by the glass.

Visited for a holiday lunch course on our wedding anniversary. I had been curious about this place for a while, but the high ratings and prices on Tabelog made it feel intimidating, so I hadn't been able to go. Finally visited today. Passed through what seemed like the entrance to a building's parking lot and entered to find an old house. So this is the restaurant. The entrance had sliding doors, and the feeling from the entrance's tatami was traditional. But it had been beautifully renovated, with a sophisticated atmosphere. The table setting exuded luxury. Since it was a special occasion, I asked for a wine pairing with the dishes, even though it wasn't on the menu. They would select wines around the same price as the course. Exciting! The meal consisted of 8 dishes: antipasto, appetizer, fish, pasta, risotto, meat, dolce, and finally coffee with chocolates. Though it was a substantial number of dishes, the portion sizes were just right, making it easy to enjoy. The meat dish for the main course was satisfying. However, it didn't leave you uncomfortably full afterwards, making it a truly "quite impressive lunch course." The wine, a rare sparkling from a Barolo producer exclusively for this restaurant, was mentioned in the label. Not too dry, with a fruity taste. Delicious! They then considered our preferences and brought out various interesting wines to pair with the food. There were many wines with grape varieties we didn't know, a refreshing experience. While all dishes were delicious, if I had to choose, the snow crab pasta was the best, with shiso flowers adding an accent to the taste. I particularly liked the red VINO DI ANNA wine. As it was our anniversary, they wrote a celebratory message in chocolate on the dessert plate and the owner-sommelier kindly shared various insights. A big thank you! The food and wine were excellent, but it was simply a time where you could feel that "dining is entertainment." Thank you very much.

Everything I ate was delicious. The atmosphere and service of the staff were excellent. This small restaurant offers both a cozy ambiance and top-notch service. The daikon (or was it turnip?) potage with crab meat was excellent. The Thai carpaccio was thick and flavorful. The Genovese sauce was delicious. The pasta with ragu sauce made from various cuts of wagyu beef was outstanding. The pasta was exceptionally tasty, I wonder what makes it different from regular pasta. The dish wrapped in white mountain with Kumamoto horse meat was incredibly delicious. The horse meat was tender, flavorful, and light. The dessert with strawberries was also delicious.

Invited for the first visit. I visited without any prior information, but I was able to spend a happy time thanks to the truly wonderful service as well as the food. Since I was invited, I don't have photos of the dishes, but the first amuse-bouche was an olive stuffed with meat paste. When warm dishes are served as an amuse-bouche, my expectations skyrocket. The first dish was a dish of purple daikon mochi with shrimp wrapped in lardo and sautéed, which captivated me with just its aroma. The cold appetizer was yellowtail tataki topped with caviar, followed by foie gras sauté and conger eel pasta. The first pasta dish was a white truffle pasta, a luxurious trio that completely knocked me out. When I left the wine pairing to the owner's sommelier, Mr. Sakata, he really entertained me. The main dish of the day was duck steak. I actually can't eat duck, but it had no gamey taste, was tender, and was incredibly delicious!!! The red wine paired with it was also very delicious, with plenty of oakiness. Excellent. I received many precious Italian wines, and enjoyed a liqueur as a digestif. The other staff members were also very pleasant, and I had a wonderful time. The clientele is of a mature age group, so each dish is so beautiful that you want to photograph it, but it's a high-class atmosphere where it feels inappropriate to make the shutter sound every time. It's a highly satisfying restaurant that I would recommend.

This Italian restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Edogawabashi Station. I tried to make a reservation several times, but it was often fully booked, and I finally managed to visit. Walking through the parking lot of an apartment building towards the entrance gives it a hidden gem feel. It is housed in a Japanese-style building that is over 70 years old and was renovated and opened in 2007. The atmosphere is quite calm, and the clientele is wonderful, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The weekday lunch course for 3500 yen includes dishes like green olive fritters, purple daikon mochi, horse meat ham, bonito sashimi with cauliflower sauce, capers, karasumi, lotus root chips, balsamic spaghetti, eel and apple soup, cinnamon gelato, and Darjeeling sweets. Each dish is meticulously crafted with an overall Japanese touch. The flavors are well-balanced and carefully prepared. The balsamic spaghetti was particularly interesting. The desserts are simple yet of very high quality. The service is also excellent, making it a satisfying dining experience for any occasion. I would like to revisit in the evening if given the chance.

I wanted to visit this Italian restaurant once, and upon visiting, I realized that the description on Tabelog, "Facing the Sakata Building, pass through the left side parking space and go to the back," is extremely accurate. If you rely on the address and go there, it's almost impossible to find at first. You enter the dining room from the genkan (Japanese-style entrance) with your shoes on. It's a splendid Showa-era Japanese architecture with exquisite lattice carvings of monkeys, birds, and other details on the transom. The table layout is relaxed for the season. The menu includes a course meal with tax and service charge included, offering a set course for around 20,000 yen per person with premium ingredients like abalone, foie gras, summer truffles, and sea urchin. Since it's an Italian course, the anticipation lies in how they combine the pasta dishes. The trend nowadays is for a variety of courses. There are three appetizers, one of which is a remarkably rare foie gras (more details to follow). The pasta dishes consist of two types in small portions (ayu fish and summer truffle pasta, sea urchin pasta). The main course is a roast beef, followed by dessert. Among the impressive dishes, four are highlighted: 1. "Corn Ice Cream" - surprisingly sweet with just a hint of cream, melting in the mouth like sherbet, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. 2. "Chilled Abalone and Cucumber Soup" - the cucumber soup stands out with a strong cucumber flavor, complemented by the main ingredient, abalone, and sea grapes. 3. "Sautéed Foie Gras" - surprisingly rare and rich in flavor, dividing opinions among the group. 4. "Ayu Noodle Pasta with Summer Truffles" - a complex taste with a harmonious blend of ayu fish, a nutty aroma, and truffle scent. The delicate balance of flavors in the pasta sauce is remarkable. The dessert consists of fruits, gelato, coffee, and the usual petit fours (cookies). It's noted that Italian cuisine, unlike French, faces challenges in menu composition due to including pasta in the course. Despite constraints, this Italian restaurant's course demonstrates clever adaptations. However, the reviewer's desire for a surprising main course reflects the whimsical atmosphere of this hidden gem restaurant.

I made a reservation over the phone and visited the restaurant. I believe I ordered the pasta lunch set for about 3500 yen. The olive amuse-bouche, appetizer, pasta, dessert, tea, and sweets, along with a drink, left a better impression on me compared to last time. The food was more Italian and delicious than Il Pregio. The service from the owner, Mr. Sakata, was also fantastic. However, in terms of the atmosphere, it may not be suitable for flashy couples wearing luxury brands (I used to be like that when I was younger, haha) or young women having a loud girls' night out. I would recommend Salone Tokyo or Hiro for them. For couples who prefer a quiet atmosphere and meticulous service, or women who don't like flashy gatherings, I would suggest places like that. Afterward, you could take a leisurely stroll in the gardens of Tsubakiyama or Kagurazaka. Personally, if this restaurant were near my home, I think I would visit it often.
