The croissant pastries are crispy and delicious. Both the Pain au Chocolat and the William were tasty. While many bakeries try to create a sense of luxury by using butter, this place's pastries have a refined flavor from the butter and flour that is just right. The other two items were also delicious, and both the bread and curry in the curry bread were tasty. This bakery is purely focused on making delicious bread. I will definitely come back for breakfast. However, even though the bread here costs over 300 yen each, I'm starting to get used to it.

I went to Burdigala main store, located about a 2-minute walk east from Hiroo Station. I have been to several branches in Tokyo and Osaka, but this is the main store in Hiroo. The interior of the store is stylish and a little pastoral, like being in a bakery overseas. The cream puffs that have been a hot topic in the media were tempting, but I had to give up since it would be a while before I got home. I bought Apricot and Berry Scones (313 yen), Etoile Mange (518 yen), Pain aux Raisins (346 yen), and Pain au Sucre (313 yen). The overall quality of the bread is high, and this time was no exception. Especially the Pain aux Raisins was ideal. The Danish pastry has a moist texture, and the sugar coating is just the right amount of sweetness. The Pain au Sucre is a pastry bread finished with a crispy texture with caramel and granulated sugar. It's irresistible for those who love pastry bread. However, the cream puffs looked delicious, so I will definitely buy them next time. Thank you for the meal.

Well, it's been a while since I visited this renowned bakery. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread. The bakery is famous for its French bread. There are plenty of delicious-looking breads that would make great souvenirs. It seems to be popular among foreigners, given the number of them visiting. It's a spot for the breakfast of the well-off residents of Hiroo.

⭐️Tabelog Bread visited 100 famous shops in August after 23 years, on a Saturday around noon. Visited a cream puff shop in Hiroo, where I tried the classic custard cream puff for 410 yen. The crispy texture of the pastry paired well with the mildly sweet cream. Personally, I think it would have been better with a bit more vanilla essence. Also tried their croissant for 270 yen, which is their most popular item. While the flavor was a bit weak, the texture was not too crispy and easy to eat. I believe the cream puff is worth a try.

I encountered a shop that caught my eye while on the move and decided to stop by. I bought a San Frui for 356 yen and an Epi for 313 yen to take out, totaling 675 yen. According to their website, "BURDIGALA means 'Bordeaux' in ancient Latin. BURDIGALA was born in 1998 as a restaurant that casually suggests wine, bread, and dishes that go well with wine in daily life." When I tried them, both were quite delicious. I don't remember the exact location of the shop, but it was about a 7-minute walk from the station. It was a smaller shop than I had expected.

At Hiroo, I visited a stylish bakery before 7 PM and got a 20% discount on all items. I paid 907 yen with my credit card for a cream puff, a half Segur-Fruit, and a baguette. The prices were a bit high, but the food was delicious. The cream puff was large with plenty of cream, but it was a bit messy to eat. The Segur-Fruit had lots of nuts and raisins and was very tasty, sliced for easy eating. The baguette was a standard baguette.

Hiroo Cream Puffs: Large size and high satisfaction. The cream was light, so I didn't feel heavy afterwards! Eclairs: No doubt about it. I want to try other flavors too. Rusk: The caramel coating is rich. As a result, it's a bit pricey. Seems like a good choice for a gift.

After golf practice, I had a golf reservation at 5:10 the next morning, so I bought some bread for breakfast. It's been a while since I last visited, but it's still good. The staff is very kind. The croissants and pain au chocolat are baked twice a day, from 8:00 to 16:00, and when I arrived a little after 16:00, there were freshly baked croissants lined up at the register. I don't eat this type of bread often in Japan, but the way they use butter gives these croissants a French touch that I like. I also bought some other delicious-looking breads, including pain au chocolat. Additionally, I couldn't resist trying the choux cream featured on the TV Tokyo show "Soredame." The cookie part was crispy with large grains of sugar mixed in, and it was delicious! The cream inside was not too sweet, giving it an adult-like taste. If you're looking for some fancy (or unique) bread choices, this is the place to go.

Located in the upscale residential area of Hiroo, "Boulangerie Burdigala" has its main store and a total of 8 stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area and Osaka ❤︎ Ever since I visited their store in Gransta at Tokyo Station, I've become a big fan of Burdigala. I especially love their croissants and always make sure to buy them. The thin, crispy crust is delightful, while the inside is soft and fluffy. They use fermented butter, which gives it a wonderful aroma and makes it incredibly delicious. It's also near Arisugawa Park, so I recommend having a picnic with their bread♪ High-quality bread like Burdigala's can also be a great gift, suitable for various occasions. Although I mainly buy it for myself, I'll definitely visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!!

I had some business near Hiroo Station. After finishing my errands, I visited this restaurant that I had been wanting to go to for a while. It's a famous bakery. It's a stylish shop located a short walk from the station. The interior is smaller than I had imagined, but there are various types of bread and cakes lined up. I bought the "Chocolat aux Amandes" and the "Saucisse". Both were pastry-based breads with a crispy texture that was delicious. The butter flavor was also good. The Saucisse had a good balance between the juiciness of the sausage inside and the crispy texture of the bread. I would like to try other breads and cakes as well.

The Provence (tax included 378 yen) is a Danish pastry topped with vegetables like onions, tomatoes, eggplant, and cheese. Simple and rustic, you can enjoy the flavors and textures of the ingredients. The bread was also crunchy and tasty. They also sell cakes and baked goods, and there were a few foreign customers, perhaps due to the location. Some people entered but left without buying anything. The stylish exterior makes you curious about the shop, prompting you to step inside!

Located just a short walk from Hiroo Station, it's Boulangerie Burdigala! The interior is decorated with a Western-style atmosphere typical of Hiroo, and the background music is nice! I purchased some bread that looked delicious. It was tasty!! I would like to try other bread varieties if I have the chance.

I had some business near Hiroo, so I visited on a weekday morning. It's located close to the station. I wanted to buy their popular cream puffs, but since it was early in the morning, they weren't available yet. I ended up buying the Petit Lait white bread made with rice flour and the baked curry bun (butter chicken) instead. Honestly, both of them were just okay. The bread was cold and dry, not very delicious. It made me realize how important it is to have bread fresh from the oven. Maybe it would have been better if I had taken them home and reheated them. If I had stuck to my plan and ordered the cream puffs, my opinion might have been different. I'm left feeling a bit disappointed about the whole experience.

To the lovely bakery in Hiroo! It's located just a short walk from the station towards Arisugawa Park. The stylish exterior gives off a luxurious vibe, but the prices are reasonable and the staff's customer service is top-notch. All the bread was delicious, but the raisin bread was a standout! Packed with fruits besides raisins, it was very satisfying. I'd love to try more, including the cream puffs.

I remembered that I had been there once before, but at that time I only bought bread and didn't get any cake. This time, I wanted to eat cake, so I bought some while taking a walk. It turns out this shop is famous for their cream puffs. I didn't know that last time when I bought without researching! Haha. I wanted to buy cream puffs this time, but on a Sunday afternoon, they understandably didn't have any left (of course, they were sold out). I ended up buying pudding, Mont Blanc (I didn't write down the official name, haha), and cheesecake tart. Just as expected from a place popular for cream puffs!? The cakes were quite delicious, maybe even more than the nearby La Maison Juvoer, to be honest. I'd like to try the cream puffs next time, but I probably won't be able to go during the time they're available, haha. So, if I have the chance, I'd like to go again!!

I wanted to try the famous "choux cream," but was told it needed to be eaten by the end of the day as it was refrigerated. Since I was about to have a meal, I gave up this time and chose a "croissant" and a "bressanne," which is a bread made of brioche dough combined with cream. The croissant had a crispy texture as expected. It wasn't sweet, with a simple taste that would go well with other ingredients. Next time, I'll try the choux cream. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Hiroo during Golden Week, so after strolling through Arisugawa Memorial Park, I stopped by the main store of Boulangerie La Terre in Hiroo! It was less crowded than the store I usually go to in Tokyo Station, so I was able to carefully look at the items. I chose the croissant and jambon et shiso croissant that I can't resist buying when I come to Boulangerie La Terre. The croissant, my favorite, was as deliciously crispy as always ❤ The jambon et shiso croissant, priced at 320 yen (excluding tax), has ham and shiso rolled inside. The refreshing shiso and the easy-to-eat shape make it very good. There were also cream puffs that often sell out at the Tokyo Station store, and I was tempted to buy them, but since I had already eaten dessert, I went home without buying them. However, I regretted not buying them after all.
