It's delicious whether you have it with sauce or salt. Next, I recommend the quail eggs! I always order them as a staple around here. This time, I tried ordering the Hinatro skewers for the first time. They were very tender, not too fatty, and delicious. Once again, when I evaluate this shop, the background music fits perfectly for people in their 50s to 60s, so it suits my age group perfectly. Maybe because of that, I can eat calmly. It's a shop that I really want to come back to again and again.

Today I had a lunch drink at Ougiya! As always, the combination of delicious yakitori and Hoppy is excellent. The edamame appetizer is a great deal with free refills. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. Needless to say, the cost performance is unbeatable. I will definitely go again.

However, it seems that they have recently raised their prices, especially for drinks, making the cost performance not as good as before. Compared to other restaurants in Akabane, it feels a bit expensive. It may be due to high prices in general. Also, it's recommended to accumulate points through their app to receive coupons. I love Akabane, but despite going early, the restaurant I wanted to go to was full and I couldn't get in. I was drawn to this place by the sign for charcoal-grilled yakitori. They offer all-you-can-eat edamame, which is nice, but the drinks are expensive. The yakitori is the worst in terms of cost performance. The quality, size, and cooking of the meat are all bad. It's at the level of 100 yen yakitori. This quality at the price of 250 yen per skewer is unacceptable. After having two drinks, I didn't order more and left.

The yakitori is charcoal-grilled, giving it a strong charcoal aroma and flavor. The chicken is tender and juicy, likely due to being sprayed with water while grilling. The sauce is not too sweet, just right. The price per skewer is slightly high, but the assorted skewers set was a good choice. All the skewers were delicious and juicy. 2. The Bali chicken wings come in plain and sauce flavors. It's a matter of personal preference, but I found the slightly sweet sauce flavor more delicious. The meat is incredibly small, though, which affects the cost performance. Despite that, it's tasty. 3. The motsunabe was a good choice. The portion is small, but the broth is so delicious that I wanted to come back to this restaurant. We also ordered the zosui set, which was served with rice and a raw egg. Cooking the rice and egg in the soup made for a tasty porridge. 4. Edamame is served as a complimentary appetizer and is all-you-can-eat for 308 yen per person. I had four plates. Overall, the dishes had just the right amount of flavor and were delicious. This restaurant was a hit! However, the small portion sizes are a downside. I felt that the cost performance was not the best, but it's a place where you can enjoy authentic yakitori. I will visit again. There was also a person sitting alone at the counter enjoying their drink.

Even though it was our second stop, we ordered another draft beer! The ordering system was touch-panel style. We were served edamame as a complimentary appetizer. The best part is that a chicken thigh skewer only costs 60 yen! We had to order it! We tried both the salt and sauce flavors. The variety of skewers was perfect for those who want to try different types, and at 60 yen each, it's a great deal! The cartilage skewer was crunchy and the seasoning was just right. The cheese-stuffed bell pepper wrapped in meat had a nice crispy texture. We wanted something more to snack on, so we ordered the cream cheese with olive oil, which was a great alternative to yakitori. Thank you for the meal.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Akabane Station East Exit, near the end of Akabane Ichibangai, is the restaurant "Yakitori Ougiya Akabane Station East Exit Store". I visited for the first time on a night in mid-January. On this day, I had made plans to drink with friends in Akabane, and arrived a little early, so I used the time to visit this place alone. In the bustling Akabane Ichibangai, which is full of regular customers, this restaurant is easy to enter even for first-time visitors and is very convenient. The interior of the restaurant has a total of 63 seats, including counter seats and table seats. I was guided to a seat at the end of the counter. First, I ordered a "Chu-hi" (388 yen) and looked at the menu. On this day, I ordered the "Sandaima Kushi-yaki Seven" (777 yen) and "Ankimo Ponzu" (290 yen). The "Sandaima Kushi-yaki Seven" included negima, kawa, bonjiri, quail, tsukune, shishito, and cheese tsukune. I enjoyed all of them as they are my favorite skewers. After that, I also enjoyed the "Sakurajima Dori Liver" (230 yen) and "Tori Kawa Karikari Garlic" (430 yen). The Chu-hi here is served with a generous amount of liquid, so I ended up drinking four glasses in no time (^_^;) That was it for this day, and I paid the bill. Thank you for the meal.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon, as expected from the mecca of daytime dining, Akabane. Apart from this place, there were many customers at other establishments like Marumasuya and an oden shop. Despite being slightly away from the cluster of bars and restaurants, I was lured in by the sign saying "Yakitori starting from 80 yen." The appetizer was edamame, and it was free to refill, so I had two servings. Jackpot! The chicken wings were large and delicious, even better than the famous Nagoya chicken wing shop. Jackpot! The black yakitori was also good with a salt flavor, the meat was big and it was pretty good. However, the yakisoba was cold, what's up with that? Did they just half-thaw some frozen product? This was disappointing. Also, the 80 yen yakitori on the sign was a separate item from the other yakitori priced at around 130 yen, with no photo or explanation on the menu, making it difficult to order. The potatoes were the usual thin type, served with ketchup and mayonnaise. The alcohol was not very tasty and lacked flavor. The young female waitress who took our orders and served the food was unfriendly, not responding to us and lacking a smile. Because the food and drinks were mediocre and the staff's attitude was poor, we left quickly. The male cashier was more cheerful. I had a different image of Akabane as being cheap, delicious, and with lively staff, so it was disappointing to have that image shattered at this place.

The appetizer of edamame is recommended, and it's okay to order seconds. Overall, not bad.
