"We visited 'Juunibun Bakery Shinjuku Store,' a bakery known for its delicious bread, in search of an easy-to-eat dinner during a night game. The bakery is located about a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. There is no seating available for dining in, only takeout. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon around 13:30 and were able to purchase without waiting in line. We bought the 'An Butter France (335 yen tax included)' and 'Chocolat (281 yen tax included)' breads. The bread selection in the showcase was quite extensive, with more sweet breads than savory ones. The 'An Butter France' was small in size but packed with red bean paste and had a good balance of buttery saltiness and sweetness. It was slightly pricey considering its size but very delicious. The bread was soft and fluffy, perfect for those who prefer softer bread. The 'Chocolat' was a fluffy round bread with melty chocolate inside, different from a typical pain au chocolat. It was delicious with occasional gooey chocolate parts in the fluffy bread. Both breads were kid-friendly due to their soft texture. The bakery offers a variety of sweet breads, especially the French bread series, which all look very appetizing. Prices are around 300 yen, slightly on the expensive side considering the size but the bread is incredibly tasty. If you're in Shinjuku, be sure to try this bakery as a potential stop for bread lovers! Next, we plan to visit 'Ice Gelato 100 Famous Stores' in the Kitasando (Sendagaya area)."

Pan Hyakumeiten❗️Located in the food floor of Shinjuku Keio Department Store. It was quite crowded, but I managed to buy the sought-after Chocolat France. It's a popular sweet bread. The crispy chocolate texture with a moderate sweetness of chocolate cream. The bread dough is also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It's a lovely shop located in a corner of the bustling Keio Department Store basement, filled with shoppers. Each carefully crafted bread is neatly displayed. It's in the same series as 365 Days near Yoyogi Park. Everything was charming and I had a hard time choosing, but today I picked the Half Loaf Bread for ¥250, Chocolat France for ¥310, Noix Raisins for ¥250, and Plain Scone for ¥290. The scone had a mild sweetness and a simple taste that I love! The Noix Raisins also had a delicious flavor that spread as I chewed. I'd like to try other breads next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Juunibun Bakery on Sunday around 5 p.m., a place I had been wanting to go for a long time. I was worried if they would have the red bean butter bread that I was curious about, but they had 3 left. ⚫ Red bean butter bread 310 yen It's a small mini size. The bread was moist, soft, and delicious. They also gave me an ice pack with it. ⚫ White mentaiko bread 450 yen It wasn't the taste I was expecting... it's a matter of preference, I guess.

In the evening, this bakery is so popular that their bread is usually sold out by the time. I visited on a weekend afternoon and was impressed to see a long line of bread displayed for the first time. I bought a chocolate-filled tea bread, a cheese croissant, and French toast. The standout was the chocolate-filled tea bread! The bread was my favorite chewy type with a tea flavor. The chocolate inside was crunchy and tasted deliciously sweet like foreign chocolates. There were many other breads that caught my eye, so I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal.

Located in the basement of Keio Department Store in Shinjuku, this bakery has been selected as one of the top 100 stores. I took out the Chocolat France, which looked very delicious in person. I believe it was 334 yen. The chocolate was crispy yet rich, and it was very delicious.

I visited in the evening and there were many types of bread available. The location was very difficult to find and it took me some time to locate it. The Butter Rich Shokupan was amazing! It's a small loaf of bread, but the sweetness of the butter spreads throughout your mouth and the fluffiness of the bread is extraordinary. You don't need any jam or butter to go with it, in fact, you definitely wouldn't want to add anything to it. It's a must-buy item! (Note: After purchasing, I left it in a cool room for 3 days and it grew mold. It was a mistake to think it was so delicious that I wanted to save it until the end. I think it's because it uses a lot of butter, so be sure to eat it early!) The Chocolat Au Lait was sandwiched between fluffy bread with just the right amount of rich chocolate that melts in your mouth. Overall, the Earl Grey flavor is strong, which was exquisite for me as an Earl Grey lover! It's more about the chocolate than the bread's flavor, so it's better to think of it as a dessert. The Honey Toast was delicious, similar to the one from the same chain 365 Days. The outer layer is caramelized with honey, crispy, and sweet honey oozes out from the inside. Compared to 365 Days, it feels slightly softer. It was also very delicious! The Juunibun Shokupan, the signature item of the shop! The taste of the bread is solid, and the sweetness and fluffiness are perfect. It's recommended to reheat it to make the crust crispy! Compared to the Rich Butter, it has less butter, but when you want a simple loaf of bread, this is the one to choose! The Chocolat France is the flagship bread of this shop. However, I didn't particularly feel any strengths... The point is that there are crunchy cookie-like pieces inside the grainy chocolate. However, both the bread and the chocolate were just average compared to my expectations. The Noir Raisin overflows with juice from the raisins. It feels like they were just picked! The strong taste of the large raisins and the distinct flavors of the two types of raisins can be enjoyed! The Juunibun Croissant, another signature item with the shop's name. The generous amount of butter used becomes evident the moment you bite into it! It has a different shape from a regular croissant, which is interesting, but it's a shame that the crispy bottom part, the essence of a croissant, is missing. It was soft and chewy and delicious.

Juunibun Bakery Shinjuku, located a 3-5 minute walk from Shinjuku Station, is a highly rated bakery with a great selection operating in the basement of Keio Department Store Shinjuku. It was selected as one of the top 100 bakeries in Tokyo in 2022. Being conveniently located in a department store directly connected to the station makes it easy to drop by. The prices are reasonable for a department store bakery. I tried the Juunibun Curry Bun and Quiche Lorraine this time. The curry bun, filled with tandoori chicken and homemade curry, had a strong spice flavor with a hint of acidity, giving it an adult-oriented taste. The quiche, made with caramelized onions, salty homemade bacon, and cheese, was crispy and delicious with the gentle sweetness of the onions making it irresistible. They also have a variety of tempting sweet bread. This popular bakery in Shinjuku is worth a visit when you're in the area. Bon appétit!

I got takeout from here inside Shinjuku Keio Department Store. Ate the balloon bread asparagus bacon balloon bread as is and regretted it. It would have been much better if I had reheated it for sure. It's delicious as is, but I'm sure it would have been even more delicious. Reheating the asparagus bacon was the right choice. This is delicious. You can clearly taste the asparagus and bacon. Of course, the bread is good too, but ever since I switched to BALMUDA's toaster, the level of reheating has been completely different, and I've become a bread enthusiast.

I visited around 6:00 in the evening, so there were fewer options available, but I was able to buy the Chocolat Au Lait and White Mentaiko France that I wanted. There were several people lining up, and many of them were buying Melon Pan and Cream Pan. There are still many breads I want to try, so I will definitely come back again!

This is a bakery located on the B1 floor of Keio Department Store Shinjuku Main Store. Juunibun Bakery is a shop with its main store in Sangenchaya, and has several branches mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area. As a company, they also operate a shop called "365 Days" that is branded as a food select shop. This is my first time using a shop from this company. The bread is displayed in a showcase, you order verbally and pay at the counter at the end. Because the showcase is long horizontally, it's difficult to point and order. It's good to remember the names of the items you want to order. The bread they sell mainly consists of sweet fillings sandwiched in French bread dough. Items include items like An Butter France (335 yen), Kibi Milk France (303 yen), and Chocolate France (335 yen). They have a good balance of sweet and savory bread, as well as bread for main meals. What I had was: - Chocolate France (335 yen): A photogenic bread with small chocolate pieces lined up. Under the pieces, there is ganache, and the paper wrapping around them adds a touch of luxury. Instead of a strong chocolate flavor, the pieces were coated in a crispy dough with a chocolate coating, providing a delightful texture along with the chocolate flavor. The bread uses domestically produced wheat, giving it a natural flavor and sweetness that pairs well with chocolate. It's not overly hard like a baguette, making it easy to eat for everyone. - Bolognese (411 yen): A French bread with Bolognese sauce filling. The bread has a deep color but is easy to eat and has a luxurious feel suitable for everyone. The Bolognese part is elaborate, with mashed potatoes at the bottom giving a rich base flavor. The Bolognese itself is delicious, with diced potatoes adding volume. The top is baked with cheese, adding a fragrant touch. - Fougasse (476 yen): I was drawn by the "goes well with alcohol" sign. The bread is made with French bread dough and contains diced potatoes, olives, and bacon (ham?). Olive oil is used, giving the dough an oily richness. The ingredients make it easy to pair with alcohol. The bacon-like processed meat loses its flavor during cooking and transfers to the bread, creating a homogeneous taste. It's recommended to pair it with white wine or sparkling wine. These breads are stylish and delicious, with a gentle, high-quality taste suitable for everyone. They are easy to come back to, and it seems like many regular customers buy from here frequently. It's a delicious bakery where bread lovers can buy a little bit every day.

I was lucky to find it easily on a Sunday afternoon. I bought various items, but the balloon bread was outstanding! It had a great aroma, texture, and taste - a fantastic table bread. It was large, but I devoured it in no time. I was also happy to see dark bread with rye, which paired well with wine.

A bakery located inside Keio Department Store in Shinjuku, listed as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. The storefront features a British-style display with abundant use of wood, giving the impression of bread being arranged like tableware. During my first visit, I purchased five types of bread recommended by the staff, including the Balloon Bread, side dishes bread, and hard bread. [Purchased bread] ● Balloon Bread (340 yen, tax excluded) ● Farm (550 yen) ● Anchovy Cheese (260 yen) ● Raisin Fromage (420 yen) ● Noisette (250 yen) [Impressions of each] ● Balloon Bread was wrapped in cute paper. It has a fluffy and soft texture due to its high moisture content. It has a gentle milky flavor, simple yet comforting to eat. ● Farm has a vibrant green appearance, making a strong visual impact. It was said to be made with plenty of seasonal vegetables, which piqued my interest. However, upon tasting it, the strong taste of greens was overpowering, almost like drinking vegetable juice or green juice directly. It might be healthy, but as a big fan of vegetables, I found it difficult to enjoy. ● Anchovy Cheese uses two types of cheese. It tasted like a common, familiar type of bread you might have had elsewhere. The anchovy flavor was not very pronounced. ● Raisin Fromage uses two types of raisins, but it also gave a common impression, like something you've had before. ● Noisette is a hard bread with walnuts and raisins. I bought it because it was said to pair well with wine. It had a slightly dry texture. The impression was also quite mild. [Overall impression] Perhaps my selection was not the best this time, as many of the breads tasted somewhat familiar. The only one that stood out as delicious was the recommended Balloon Bread. If I happen to be nearby again, I would consider buying it once more. On the other hand, the store was bustling with customers. Its convenient location makes it easy for commuters and shoppers to stop by, and the variety of bread available for quick purchase may be one of the reasons for its popularity.

On weekdays around 6 pm, Keio Department Store is overflowing with people, truly a department store in Shinjuku. The store has stylish William Morris wallpaper. All the customers lined up are women. It was good that there were still breads left at this time. I asked for recommendations and purchased: Anko Butter France for 335 yen, Balloon Bread for 368 yen, and Quiche Lorraine for 468 yen. Anko Butter France and Balloon Bread were recommended items. Especially the Anko Butter France is delicious. The French bread dough is not too hard, easy to eat, the anko is moderately sweet, and the butter is rich, which is good. The Balloon Bread has a good chewy texture. It's a simple bread so you can have as many as you want. I want to visit again because there are other things I want to try. Thank you for the meal! 🍴

For someone like me who loves sweet red bean paste, this restaurant is truly irresistible. Today, I tried the Juunibun Curry Pan, a crispy and delicious curry bread. The curry bread was also great. Baked with olive oil, it's healthy, and what I love the most is the An Butter France - it's really delicious. The combination of butter and sweet red bean paste is exquisite. The Rustic An Butter is also delicious. The combination of this type of sweet red bean paste is just so tasty. My wife had the Kibi Milk France, and she seemed to really enjoy it. It was a very pleasant and good restaurant experience.

This is Juunibun Bakery located on the M2F floor of Keio Department Store in Shinjuku Station. Today, I revisited after realizing it's quite close to JR Shinjuku South Exit (last time I took a detour through the underground mall, so it was quite a roundabout way^^). This time, I bought Juunibun Melon Pan, Salt Bread, and Cinnamon Roll (^_^) They are all smaller than the usual size, with an elegant size. So considering the price, the cost performance may not be great. But the taste is guaranteed ✨✨ This time, I bought Salt Bread, Cinnamon Roll, and Juunibun Melon Pan. The Salt Bread is rare with a round Danish shape, and it's chewy. The Melon Pan has a slightly crumbly cookie part, but the moist sweetness of the dough is good and delicious ✨ The Cinnamon Roll is a sweet snack bread, quite sweet but of course delicious. The staff will take the items from the case for you. As I felt last time, they are still a bit too small^^; Easy to eat but lacking in satisfaction. Thank you for the meal~✨✨

Located in a corner of the food section in the basement of Keio Department Store near Shinjuku Station West Exit, this bakery is easy to find with just a short walk, so you won't get lost. The opening hours follow those of Keio Department Store, so be aware that on Sundays and holidays when the store closes 30 minutes earlier than usual, you might miss out. I visited the shop around 7:45 pm (about 15 minutes before closing time) after finishing up other errands. Despite the limited selection due to the size of the large showcase, there were still various types of bread available beyond my expectations. I purchased Honey Toast, Juunibun Croissant, and Bressanne, totaling 950 yen. Taking them home, I made sure to warm them up properly before indulging. The Honey Toast was very sweet with plenty of honey, but it was quite hard, making it a bit tough to eat forcefully. It also felt sticky to eat with hands, leaving me wondering if there was a better way to enjoy it. Among the three, it was my favorite in terms of taste, and I highly recommend trying it. The Croissant had a cute appearance resembling a cupcake rather than the typical croissant, with a round card from the shop stuck in it. It tasted delicious as well. I assumed the Bressanne would have custard-like cream in the middle, but to my surprise, it had cheese-filled cream instead. Not being a fan of sweet items with cheese, I was a bit taken aback. It wasn't to my liking, but I recommend it to those who enjoy a subtle cheese flavor. The bread part around it was on the sweeter side. I look forward to trying a wider variety of bread next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited solo on a holiday. A bakery located in the food store area of Keio Department Store, directly connected to the west exit of Shinjuku Station. The shop provides high-value bread to the local ladies along the train line with the slogan "Satisfied enough so far, but fully satisfied from now on." Part of the "365 Days" bakery family, with the main store in Sangenjaya. Winner of the '22 Top 100 Bread Shops award. Visited on a certain Saturday after 3 PM, with a few lady customers already present. The bread is neatly arranged in the showcase along the aisle, with a face-to-face sales style. Even at this time, there is still a good variety available. While a nearby elegant lady was discussing with her friend, I managed to get the red bean butter French bread and cream bread that I had researched. The service of putting a cooling pack on the red bean butter French bread in the scorching heat was appreciated. Shared and tasted with my family the next morning. The cream bread had a fluffy soft dough with a rich and flavorful cream inside. It was subtly sweet with a rich flavor and depth from the vanilla beans. The red bean butter French bread had beautiful black and white lines running on the soft French bread. The simple sweetness of the red bean paste and unsalted butter left a refreshing taste in the mouth without any lingering aftertaste. The satisfaction level was high with the delicious bread. The location is also good, so I would like to visit again with my family soon. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.
