Last summer, my daughter treated me to a seafood bowl at Tsukiji. It was delicious. After that, we walked around Ginza and came across a signboard of a place I liked. However, we had to give up because there was a long line. I had been thinking about that place for a year, and although I wanted to go with my daughter, in the end my husband and son joined me. We took a day off on a weekday and arrived at 10:00. We ordered - I had the Moon, my son had the Snow, my husband had the special tempura bowl with Ebi beer. It was my first beer in a long time. We only used salt for the tempura - curry, rock salt, yuzu, and matcha. I like matcha. My son recommended the curry. The toppings were horse mackerel, egg yolk, shrimp, sweetfish, tomato, lotus root, broccoli, and anago (only in the Moon). Everything was crispy and fluffy. They served us at a good pace. The owner seemed like a true Edo person, reminding me of my father and grandfather. The lady in the dining area was kind and polite. Oh, and the sweetfish is whole, so it has a bitter taste. Also, be careful with the hot tomato. It's a one-bite rule. The rice in the final tempura bowl was firm, almost hard. It seemed like it was intentionally cooked that way. The sauce was to my liking, but my son didn't like it. Since it was 10:00, there were no other customers, so we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. Next time, I want to go with my daughter.
