A bar where you can enjoy sake with medicinal herbs. The medicinal herbs make the alcohol a little healthier, and the guilt of drinking is reduced. There are multiple types of pudding to choose from, adding to the fun. However, the pudding does not contain medicinal herbs, so incorporating them could make the concept more consistent.

I wandered around Asakusa and visited this shop as my second stop. The concept of using herbal medicinal liquor caught my interest, so I decided to go in. I ordered the following drinks: Cardamom with soda, Lavender on the rocks, and Butterfly Pea with milk, after asking for recommended ways to enjoy them. They were all delicious and paired well with the nuts served as a snack. The pudding I had for dessert was also very tasty.

While taking a walk, I stumbled upon a place that serves medicinal liqueurs? Looking at the menu, I noticed some medicinal herbs that I've seen in herbal baths before... This piqued my interest. I ordered a Rosemary soda mix and a Mandarin orange soda mix. I was intrigued by the winter limited edition Oden, but they were still preparing it so I had to pass. The Rosemary had a refreshing scent. I could easily justify drinking it as being healthy. If I had it at home, I would drink it every day. The Mandarin orange had the aroma of traditional herbal baths! It felt like it could cleanse me from the inside out, a taste that would surely resonate with tired salarymen. When I visit Asakusa again, I definitely want to stop by and try other items on the menu!

I also thought it was nice that you can eat various medicinal wines and oden. I would like to go there again if I have the chance.

I like herbs, so when I saw a sign for this shop, I thought it looked interesting and decided to go in. Along the wall, there were rows of liqueurs infused with various ingredients, and the menu had a wide selection, making it hard to choose. The menu also listed the benefits of each drink. The customers seemed surprisingly young, and mostly regulars, so I left early.

At first glance, the appearance may not be very inviting, but once you step inside, you will find a warm atmosphere and a wide variety of medicinal wines to choose from! Excellent!

On April 1, 2017 (Saturday), I visited a bar in Asakusa that stays open late. Despite entering around 11 pm, the stylish interior was filled with students enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, even though the seating was limited. The menu featured a variety of medicinal liqueurs with unique names, but each one had recommendations on how to enjoy them, making it easy to order. I tried the Ginkgo (700 yen), but ended up swapping with a friend who had ordered the Rose, as I preferred its taste. Both were easy to drink, with a unique medicinal flavor that was surprisingly smooth and not overpowering. Although there was a listed charge of 300 yen, we were not actually charged for it when we paid. It's rare to find a place that doesn't follow through on their stated charges. Overall, I enjoyed affordable and delicious cocktails and would definitely like to visit again. [Rating] ★★★★★★★ 7/10

I often come to Asakusa to drink, and on the last Sunday of every month, they invite fortune tellers who offer tarot card readings and palm readings at a low price. I didn't enter to get a reading, but rather out of curiosity about the variety of herbal liquors they offer. My favorite is hibiscus soda mix! You can choose to drink it straight, on the rocks, or mixed with soda, which is a great point. If you drink too much, the effects may be questionable, but if you drink in moderation, it could be good for your health, so it's worth a try.

*Added 2 more photos* If it's medicinal alcohol, there's no doubt you'll feel energized and have fun (^-^)/ ↓↓↓ Review from March 2016 ↓↓↓ *Added 1 more photo* ↓↓↓ Review from January 2016 ↓↓↓ *Added 4 more photos* ↓↓↓ Review from December 2015 ↓↓↓ If you're toasting on Christmas Eve, why not at a bar like this?? We were taken to "Asakusa Yakuza Bar" *Medicinal alcohol?! Excitedly climbing the steep stairs, we found a small, moody and lovely bar. The menu even lists the effects, and you can ask the staff for recommendations. Yay! So much fun~ I'm sure I'll wake up feeling energized tomorrow, right (^o^)

The second open shop I found was a health-conscious liquor store called "Yakushu." They have a wide variety of options available and it was quite fun to choose from. I ordered Ukon and Hibiscus drinks, which were not difficult to drink and had various health benefits. For snacks, I had cream cheese and onion chicken dip, smoked hokke stick, and a surprisingly delicious shrimp ajillo. Some items were sold out due to the late hour, but overall, it was an interesting experience. I hope they expand their food menu in the future.

After soaking in a strong hot spring bath, we entered a slightly intense feeling restaurant in Asakusa. It's interesting to find these kinds of places here. Since I was driving, I ordered a ginger ale with herbs. It was refreshing after the hot spring. I'm not sure about the medicinal effects. My friend had a herb-infused gin and tonic. We also enjoyed some onion slices marinated in plum vinegar as a snack.

On this day in July 2014, after enjoying a bath at the Asakusa Jyakotsuyu public bath, we visited a place to quench our thirst. A "Herbal Liquor Bar"... (laughs) Can medicine and alcohol really mix? It seems to be a bar specializing in herbal liquor, like an upgraded version of plum wine. I chose a Sage Tonic, which felt a bit healthier with alcohol. My companion went for a non-alcoholic option, a blend of herbs with ginger ale, I think... It was already late at night, and we had just come from the bath, so we opted for a light snack of onion slices marinated in plum vinegar, which was refreshing and delicious. We sat at the counter overlooking the cityscape, where various herb pots were displayed by the window. It's quite an interesting concept for a restaurant. I used to frequent an izakaya in Susukino long ago, where the owner would climb the mountains to pick various wild vegetables and fruits to make alcohol, and this place reminded me of that, but in a more stylish way. The customers were mostly individuals, both men and women. In fact, when we went, everyone there was dining alone. It was a really interesting place to visit.

I went to a bar in Asakusa called Yakuza Bar with some gourmet friends. It had a cozy atmosphere and a menu filled with unique drinks like ginger, turmeric, perilla, sansho, and safflower. I asked the staff for recommendations and tried a perilla tonic and a ginger ale with a strong ginger flavor. The drinks were easy to drink and delicious. I also had mashed potato oven-baked as a snack. I tried a Korean ginseng tonic water and a straight Nicjujo. Despite its potency, the drinks were smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the bar was a fun and interesting place to try different drinks and dishes. I would definitely go back again.

On June 15, 2012, I visited the "Asakusa Herbal Liquor Bar" located on the 3rd floor of a mixed-use building on Kaminarimon Street in Asakusa. As the name suggests, this shop specializes in homemade herbal liquors and liqueurs. Contrary to the image of bitter herbal liquor, the drinks here were very easy to drink. The menu featured a variety of herbal liquors including wolfberry, turmeric, lotus seed, mulberry, yokuinin, keihi, aconite, lily root, safflower, perilla, sansho pepper, prickly ash, ginger, garlic, and ginseng. I tried the lotus seed and lily root, as well as the wolfberry & raspberry soda. The lotus seed had a gentle flavor and mild sweetness, perfect on the rocks. The lily root had a subtle taste, almost flavorless, and was better mixed with tonic or ginger ale. The wolfberry & raspberry soda had a sweet and sour taste, appealing to female customers. The food menu mainly consisted of snack items, but was not particularly extensive. The interior had a stylish design with orange-red walls, making it a good spot for a date. However, being on the 3rd floor of an old building with narrow and steep stairs, there was a sense of danger. Overall, despite some operational improvements needed, I look forward to the growth of this establishment.

Late at night, I was looking for a bar and came across a sign that caught my eye. I climbed up a steep staircase to the third floor and arrived. I was a little nervous because I was a bit drunk. That day, there were several men at the table seats. My friend and I sat at the counter. When I asked the manager what herbal liquor was, he said it was based on Chinese medicine. I was very interested, so I consulted with the manager and made a decision. That day, the manager was running the shop alone. I wonder what it's like on a regular basis... The very friendly manager's herbal liquor has a slightly medicinal taste, but it's easy to drink and feels like you're drinking something good for your body. I didn't order any food because I was full, but I recommend stopping by for a second round.
