Eating in felt just like having a morning plate, or at least that's what a complete novice in Thai cuisine thought. Around 10:30 in the morning, unable to wait until the usual opening time of 11 o'clock in the restaurant district, I decided to dine in. The egg curry I saw in the showcase looked delicious, and the Thai-style seafood stir-fry also caught my eye. I opted for the "Good Combo 3 items" (1,222 yen) along with an "Iced Jasmine Tea" (220 yen) – as shown in the photo. With the Good Combo, you get to choose your dishes. I went for the "Bon Curry"? "Seafood Curry Omelette" which I really enjoyed. The fluffy omelette and Thai curry blended together perfectly. The "Seafood Chili Paste Stir-Fry" was also a hit. The combination of shrimp, squid, baby corn, and other vegetables was delightful. It had a sweet and spicy flavor profile, leaning more towards the sweetness but with occasional bursts of heat. The "Boi Yan"? "Thai Grilled Chicken" was like boneless thigh grilled with a Thai-style sauce. Now, should I pour the sweet chili sauce over it? I wasn't sure, so I just did it randomly (laughs). It felt like an upgraded version of chicken and fried egg. Regardless, all the dishes were delicious. I chose jasmine rice over brown rice or mixed grain rice, and the jasmine tea for the drink, which turned out to be a bit redundant. The jasmine rice, seasoned with Thai flavors, was quite refreshing and tasty. I used to have a slight aversion to Thai rice and California rice when I was younger, but I realized that comparing them to Japanese rice led to preferences. Each food has its own unique characteristics, and thinking of it that way can lead to enjoying them more. Overall, as a complete novice in this area, I found the dishes to be very delicious. The portion size might be a bit small, but for me, it was just right as I enjoyed it as a Good Morning Bangkok breakfast. Thank you for the meal. The staff was very kind and accommodating. There are counter seats where you can eat facing the wall, providing a calm and relaxing dining experience. Regarding the "spot the mistake" in the photo, the answer is that there are more squid pieces in the "Seafood Chili Paste Stir-Fry." When I saw it in the showcase, I was drawn to the squid, but when it was served, I couldn't find any, so I asked them to add some. I've reached an age where I can easily ask for things that I would have been embarrassed about when dining with my grandma as a child. (By Kyo Natsushikuu, 4/29/2022) (34 reviews/3.31)
