Today, I took a train to explore Kagurazaka. I arrived at 10:30 and headed straight to the bakery I was looking for. I waited in line for over two hours, feeling exhausted, then had lunch before strolling through the streets and shops of Kagurazaka. Feeling tired, I decided to stop for something sweet. I came across Amitee, which looked like a local cake shop at first glance. It was quite small. As there was only one group inside, I entered and found out that the chestnut Mont Blanc was sold out... What a pity. I ordered the Mont Blanc for 650 yen, the Gateau au Chocolat for 450 yen, and an Iced Cafe Latte for 580 yen. There was seating available inside, so I took a break there while waiting for the cakes. After a short wait, the cakes and coffee arrived. The seating area was actually just in front of the showcase. The Iced Cafe Latte was a bit lukewarm, so I stirred it well to distribute the coldness of the ice. The Mont Blanc was delicious with a nice chestnut flavor and a crispy meringue texture, although its elongated shape made it a bit tricky to eat. The Gateau au Chocolat didn't have a strong chocolate flavor, which was a personal preference, as I would have liked more pronounced chocolate taste.

I arrived after walking about 10 minutes from Kagurazaka, going up and down a steep hill. The restaurant does not allow interior photography. It has been selected as one of the top 100 sweets shops in 2023. The red roof and red signboard are the landmarks. When you enter the shop, you can see customers shopping, many seem to be buying gifts. Receiving sweets selected as one of the top 100 must be a delightful experience. The good taste is also likely to be praised. It was around 2 p.m. on the last Sunday of August, a scorching hot day. I bought baked sweets that wouldn't melt, instead of fresh ones. The shop owner was very kind and helpful. It feels special when you make a good purchase like this, and it will be even more special when you eat them at home. I bought a bag of flower-shaped sablé cookies. There were plenty inside, which made me happy. The sablé from Maison costs ¥350, it was crispy with a hint of salt and a vanilla aroma, very delicious. Small-sized sablé cookies are also good. They last for about 2 weeks, so it might be a good idea to buy several and keep them in stock. You can also eat in the shop. I left quickly as I had other plans, but if I have the chance, I would like to enjoy tea and cake there. It was a very lovely shop.

A cake shop tucked away in a quiet location. Despite that, it's popular with many customers coming and going. I visited for their highly rated eat-in option. It was midday and there was only one group of customers ahead of us, so we were seated promptly. Various cakes and tarts were on display. The shop is small and cozy, with a stylish atmosphere. I chose a tart called "Bananie." I had an iced cafe latte with it. My friend ordered a peach tart. The Bananie tart was made with banana, chocolate, and custard. The combination of banana and crispy chocolate inside the tart was delightful. The tart had a pie-like texture, soft and delicious. The iced cafe latte was a good amount and easy to drink. A sablé cookie was served as a complimentary treat with the drinks. The peach tart seemed to lack sweetness. There were many customers getting takeout, and it seemed like they offer a variety of baked goods and seasonal cakes, making it a suitable place for gifts as well.

I came nearby so I bought some souvenirs for my family. Fig shortcake. Peach tart? Passion fruit tart? Chocolate cake. Brulee. All of them were light and fragrant, the fruit ones had a refreshing acidity, and they were all lovely cakes!

Kagurazaka's Tabelog top 100 restaurant "Pâtisserie Salon de thé Amitié." This shop, run by a female pastry chef who loves France, opened in 2007. Located a few minutes' walk from Kagurazaka Station, behind Akagi Shrine. Inside the shop, there are two tables, and there are also two tables outside, so it seems that you can eat in. The items are traditional, such as crème brûlée, crème caramel, and tartlets. Everything is small-sized and ranges from around 300 yen to 600 yen. "La Pêche" for 650 yen is a meltingly elegant white peach tartlet. The dough is moist and tastes like a high-quality apple pie. "Passion Doux" for 620 yen is a passion fruit tartlet. The acidity is very good, and the cream is delicious. "Chou Chou" for 350 yen is a cream and custard choux cream puff. It's rich but not too sweet, and the dough is delicious. "Fromagerie" for 450 yen is a baked cheesecake made with two types of cheese. The rich egg and moist texture are good. Everything is delicious, and they are small-sized, so I wish I had bought more. I want to pair the crème brûlée with coffee.

I visited the restaurant nearby for lunch. They had a variety of cute and small tarts. *Tartlette Saison ¥590: A tart with plenty of sweet and delicious fruits topped with custard cream. *La Pêche ¥650: A peach compote with fresh cream and sponge cake-like base, topped with peach crafty. *July limited edition Mirabelle Lovelico ¥490: A well-balanced tart with the acidity and sweetness of apricots and mirabelles, offering a delightful texture. *Chouchou ¥350: A choux pastry filled with a mix of cream and custard cream. Each tart had a unique composition and was delicious to enjoy. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet and cozy, making it a good place for dining in.

On my second visit, I tried the éclair and peach tart. It was a hot afternoon, so it was not crowded and I was able to smoothly dine in. The éclair had just the right amount of cocoa acidity, complemented by the salty taste of the choux pastry, allowing you to enjoy the rich cream in a refreshing way. The peach tart had a juicy compote that was perfectly balanced, paired with a crispy, light and soft tart, making it a very good match. It was so delicious that it disappeared in no time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, and you can feel very relaxed. Dining in is highly recommended.

Patisserie Salon de The Amitie in Kagurazaka. The owner-patissier, who was captivated by the charm of French confectionery, has created baked goods through research and tasting. Their specialty is French confectionery, especially baked goods, so please enjoy the delicious aroma of butter.

I visited around lunchtime on a weekday. This place is a valuable authentic cake shop where you can eat in. Moreover, the drink menu is as extensive as a cafe! Although the space is not as relaxing as a cafe, it's great to enjoy the cakes in their best condition inside rather than taking out, especially in summer when cakes tend to deteriorate. Their tart seems to be a recommendation, so I chose the following from the tart menu: - Mont Regal ¥550: A seasonal chocolate and raspberry tart. Delicious! A bit monotonous though. The raspberry flavor is a bit subtle. The tart crust is crispy and undeniably delicious. - Blend Coffee ¥520: The coffee is carefully selected and delicious. The staff are all very friendly and provide a soothing service. Thank you for the meal!

[Patisserie Salon de The Amitié] Located a little off the beaten path near Akagi Shrine in Kagurazaka, Patisserie Salon de The Amitié has been selected as one of the top 100 sweets shops. I visited in the evening, so the cake selection in the showcase was limited. The interior seating had four tables for two, and there were also outdoor seats available, but it was quiet and relaxing inside. I indulged in the Tartlette Saison, after debating between a fruit-filled tart and a melon tart. Priced at ¥590, the Tartlette Saison was delightful with its elegant presentation. To enjoy the tart, you use a knife and fork to cut through the crust. It felt quite refined. The buttery aroma of the tart was irresistible, with a crispy and moist texture that was too delicious to resist. The cream was rich and paired perfectly with the juicy fruits. Even though I wanted to savor it slowly, it was so delicious that I devoured it quickly. A small sweet treat was included with my drink, which was also tasty. I'm curious about their baked goods as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy any for takeout as I was heading out for the night. Next time, I want to try a variety of tarts, crème caramel, and their baked goods.

I visited Patisserie Salon de The Amitie in Kagurazaka. It is located in a residential area about a 10-minute walk from Kagurazaka. I had the Fraisier Fresh, Tartlette Saison, and Iced Tea. While this shop is famous for its tarts, personally, I also enjoyed the shortcake! The tart was delicious with plenty of fruits on a crispy tart crust. I liked that there was an eat-in space as well. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I received a cute souvenir during a business dinner in Kagurazaka. When it comes to baked goods like cookies from specialty shops, the focus on ingredients such as butter results in a very crispy texture with a rich buttery aroma, which is delicious. The pecan boule cookies I had this time had crunchy pecan nuts and a light, crispy texture that was delicious. The langue de chat cookies were also crispy with a very light texture and a rich buttery aroma, making them delicious. When making them yourself, you might consider reducing the sweetness or butter content for calorie reasons, but using fragrant butter really enhances the flavor. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Pecan Boule: 350 yen (tax included) Langue de Chat: 350 yen (tax included)

A shop where you can enjoy delicious and fun French time. The owner, who was captivated by the charm of French sweets, conducted research and food tours repeatedly, and finally opened the shop. Baked goods, tarts, and cakes are displayed everywhere. The eat-in space is a nice touch. Since most customers take out, you can often relax when eating in. The small tarts are popular. I ordered the Tartlette Saison. It's a typical fruit tart. Cream and various fruits are placed on top of a crispy crust. The crust at the bottom is especially delicious. I also ordered a satisfying iced coffee, and cookies come as a complimentary service. Take-out customers come in constantly. If you want to enrich your daily life with anniversaries, gifts, or treats for yourself, you can also enjoy French time here. Thank you for the meal.

Sweets Top 100. Visited on Thursday at 12:15, surprisingly no dine-in or take-out customers were there. Today I bought the usual Pecan Boule and two other types, Sablé Nanterre and Etoile. Pecan Boule is my favorite, even though it's hard to come here. This is my fifth visit (I don't post when I buy the same thing).

Good evening. I am a beauty acupuncturist, Kozue. The other day, while on a work trip, I stopped by a cake shop. This time, I visited a shop called Patisserie Salon de The Amitie. It's a small shop, but there were people eating in on the terrace. Since I visited in the evening, there were hardly any cakes left, showing how popular it is. I decided to buy a few remaining cakes for takeout. The cakes I bought this time are as follows: Brulee 420 yen, Creme Caramel 350 yen, Fromagerie 450 yen. Fromagerie means "cheese specialty" in French, and it seems to be a combination of two types of cheese cakes. The tart crust is crispy, and the cheese is just the right firmness with a strong cheese flavor. It's not too sweet, has a smooth texture, and I think it's a very delicious cheesecake. The Creme Caramel has a beautiful yellow color. The crust is firm, the sweetness is mild and simple but delicious. The caramel has a subtle toastiness without bitterness, and overall, it has a gentle flavor. The Brulee comes in a small dish, with a smooth and very creamy crust. It has an elegant sweetness, contrasting with the Creme Caramel, allowing you to enjoy the differences when compared. I think the quality of the cakes is high. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on April 30th, 2023 at 13:40. There was one group dining in the restaurant and one group making a takeout purchase. Inside the restaurant, there are 8 seats (4 tables) and outside (terrace) there are 4 seats (2 tables), where you can also dine in. On this day, I had the Tartlet Saison (590 yen), Crème Brûlée (420 yen), and Iced Tea (740 yen). The Tartlet Saison had various seasonal fruits on top, allowing me to enjoy different flavors with each bite. The Crème Brûlée had a crispy surface as expected, though the custard inside was a bit firm. There were relatively empty seats inside the restaurant, making it a more accessible place to dine compared to other popular restaurants where waiting is common.

Sweets Hyakumeiten TOKYO 43/100 is a patisserie located down a steep slope next to Akagi Shrine, up Kagurazaka. It's easily accessible from Edogawabashi Station on a flat road. I visited around 6 pm on a Friday and they had 6 types of cakes available. There are 8 seats inside for dining and one table outside. The chef, Tomoe Mitani, completed her stage at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris after working at two patisseries in Japan. Her husband, who supported the establishment, is in charge of sales. Their [Tartelette aux Fraises] for 590 yen is a limited seasonal item with plenty of small strawberries on top. The tart cuts nicely with a fork and the custard cream complements it well, making it quite enjoyable. The [Chou Chou] for 350 yen has a generous amount of cream made of custard and whipped cream on a soft choux pastry, showcasing the goodness of eggs. It's a heartwarming patisserie that carefully expresses the quality of ingredients. Thank you for the meal.

It was a little after 2 p.m. on a weekend afternoon. I dropped by on a whim and there were still plenty of cakes available! Feeling lucky, I made an impulse purchase and ended up buying quite a few.=================◎ Bananie 580 yen (tart with chocolate, banana, custard, and whipped cream)◎ Mont Regal 550 yen (tartlet with chocolate and raspberry)◎ Fromagerie 450 yen (baked cheesecake made with 2 types of cheese)◎ Dacquoise Moka 280 yen (almond and meringue dacquoise with coffee-flavored cream)◎ Galette Bretonne 220 yen (traditional pastry from the Brittany region of France, a savory thick shortbread)◎ Croquant Avoinne 240 yen (shortbread made with oats and whole wheat)◎ Sablé Poisson 210 yen (fish-shaped shortbread inspired by April Fools' Day)=================They were all delicious, but my favorite was the seasonal Bananie. When I cracked open the cream-filled dome, I found fresh bananas, chocolate cream, and cocoa sponge inside. I initially thought it was a tart base, but it turned out to be a pie crust. Moreover, when I bit into it, I noticed a crispy texture and upon further investigation, I discovered that the inside was coated with chocolate! It seemed like a small touch, but it made the texture very enjoyable. A wonderful patisserie where you can feel the changing seasons with each visit. Thank you for the delicious treats!

Tartelette Saison sells mainly fruit tarts, priced slightly high for their small size. Fraise Fraîche is described as a strawberry shortcake. The cream is light and not too heavy, with a noticeable milk fragrance. The balance of sponge, whipped cream, and strawberries is delicious. Tartelette Saison offers a vibrant tart topped with plenty of seasonal fruits. The tart crust is crispy just right, with the sweetness at a perfect level. They use seasonal fruits, including berries and citrus, for a fresh taste with a hint of sourness and gentle sweetness from the custard and tart crust. Particularly, the Miyazaki-grown Hinata Natsu adds a refreshing aroma, sweetness from the white peel, and acidity from the flesh. The texture, with the fruit pulp, soft white peel, smooth custard, and crispy crust, is enjoyable.
