I reserved a loft seat with a 3500 yen all-you-can-drink course for a year-end party with my girlfriends. The restaurant was located in a dark street with no other izakayas nearby, so I was a bit hesitant at first. However, when I entered, I was pleasantly surprised! The interior was a stylish old folk house. To get to the loft seat, we had to climb a small handmade staircase, so wearing a skirt was not recommended for women. The hidden seat was fun and the food was delicious, although the course portion was a bit small. The drinks were served promptly with the all-you-can-drink option, so we had a great time drinking. It might be better to drink in moderation as it can be dangerous to descend from the loft with tipsy legs. There were also seats right below the loft, and the customers below were surprised when we came down from the loft. The secret room-like loft seat was a unique experience and I would love to visit again. The restroom had a handmade door that made me a bit worried about the lock.

A cozy old folk house meets izakaya in Ikebukuro that's perfect for a secret date or a girls' night out. The warm lighting in the log house creates a relaxing atmosphere, with loft seats and fluffy sofa seats adding to the cozy hideaway feel. Despite being a weekday, the place was about 90% full when I visited. Note that the stairs are steep, so it's better to avoid wearing heels. The rule is one drink and two food items per person, and during busy times, there might be a two-hour time limit, so keep that in mind. The menu includes carpaccio, grilled and stewed meat dishes, and ajillo, all perfect for pairing with craft beer. They also offer course meals for girls' nights, dates, or group outings. The complimentary baguette is a nice touch! With over 20 types of craft beer, the staff can recommend something for you. I personally recommend the fruity and easy-to-drink "Hoegaarden Rosée." The non-alcoholic options have funny names too. The "Tsundere Life" with lemon juice was delicious. The "Seared Sea Bream and Octopus Marinade" is a good choice for a toast. The "Apple and Orange Caprese" and "Plentiful Mussels" are popular among women. The steak is great, but the stewed dishes are even more impressive. The "Tomato Stew" with chicken liver is surprisingly tender. The "Spice and Herbal Pork Cartilage Stew" is a luxurious dish that warms you up from the inside. The "Fluffy Grilled Yam" was a pleasant surprise, like a soft rice cake. The atmosphere is a mix of tranquility and liveliness, making it a unique space. It's a beer lover's paradise. In March, they had a limited edition cherry blossom beer. I wonder what they'll have in April. The two hours flew by. I wish I could have stayed longer on those comfy sofas.

Visit date and time: Around 1:00 PM on a holiday Menu: - Appetizer: 600 yen - Salmon Carpaccio: 970 yen - Mexican Salad: 999 yen - Duck Breast Steak: 2580 yen The restaurant maintains a nostalgic atmosphere by using an old traditional house, with loft seating accessed by a fun staircase reminiscent of a secret base. They operate continuously from 12:00 PM to late night on weekends and holidays, focusing on daytime drinking. They offer a wide selection of beers from various countries, with the rarity level indicated, tempting you to try the rare ones. The menu includes a la carte options and courses ranging from 2000 yen. I opted for the Duck Breast Steak from the a la carte menu, but the course might be a better value as it allows you to try a variety of dishes. The Duck Breast Steak was served as a whole piece, not sliced as I expected. It was a bit challenging to cut without a meat-specific knife, but the simple seasoning of salt and pepper eliminated any gamey taste, making it delicious. The grilled vegetables served alongside were also excellent. The other dishes had a homemade feel and were tasty, although I found the prices a bit high. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Visited on a Friday after work. It was a bit hard to find the place following Google Maps. It's located up the stairs next to a soba restaurant. I knew it was a traditional house, but we were seated in a loft-like area on the second floor. The interior was impressive with a bare light bulb in the middle of the table. Surprisingly, the bread was all-you-can-eat and delicious! The most delicious dish was the tender pork cartilage stew. It was great dipping the bread in the sauce. They had a wide variety of beers to choose from. It's a great place for adult gatherings in their 30s and older. The bill came out to 7000 yen per person. Thank you for the meal.

The craft beer selection was great, and I was able to enjoy a variety of drinks! The food was decently satisfying, especially with the free refills on baguettes for the aioli. The staff may not be overly friendly, but when asked about beer recommendations, they were helpful in suggesting options based on preferences, allowing me to try things I wouldn't normally choose. I would like to go back again!

On Sunday, I visited around 17:30 without a reservation. The place was almost full and had a 2-hour time limit, with a requirement to order 2 items per person. I was seated in the attic room of this hidden gem-like place with a dark interior. The complimentary bread was refillable. The salmon carpaccio was topped with seaweed, which was unusual but tasty. The okra and yam pickles were consistently delicious. The venison and pork liver pate was delicious and paired well with the complimentary bread. The marinated sea bream and scallops had a strong flavor but were filled with generous portions of fish and scallops, making it delicious. The fluffy yam bake had a tasty teriyaki-like sauce. The beef rump steak came with only 2 slices of meat and some summer vegetables, which was a bit disappointing in terms of portion and taste. The salted liver fried rice was very delicious, I could eat it forever.

I posted after a long time!!!! Had a drinking party with a elementary school classmate I met for the first time in about 15 years! I chose the place, with an interior that boys would like, and we had a great time♡ I think it would be great for a boys' night out or a date! It's like a secret base and it's so much fun. Thank you for the meal :)

Today was a company banquet after a long time, and I wasn't sure about everyone's preferences and drinking capacity varied, so we opted for a course with all-you-can-drink option. I started with a glass of draft beer, which had a delicious, fine foam. It was satisfying! From the second glass onwards, I switched to wine and ended up drinking a lot. The food was also delicious: egg salad, homemade German potatoes, crispy vegetable salad, seafood carpaccio, fluffy grated yam, garlic shrimp, grape beef rump steak, salted liver fried rice. Especially the rump steak was thick, luxurious, and delicious. I would like to try their a la carte menu next time.

A casual and stylish beer hall renovated from an old traditional house. Located within a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit dimly lit with indirect lighting on the main floor. The second floor, where this time's Landors is located, can be reached by stairs. The appeal lies in being able to taste around 60 types of craft beers from various countries around the world. The food is served with a 2-order per person policy, so the four of us ordered a total of 8 dishes, which was quite a generous amount and left us very full. The appetizers were quite luxurious, with unlimited bread served. The bread was fluffy and delicious, especially with a light drizzle of olive oil. They also provided small plates to enjoy the bread with. We also ordered some dishes like garlic shrimp and beef stew, which were also delicious. One small disappointment was that the staff seemed a bit cold. I understand they may be busy, having worked in the food industry myself, but good customer service can enhance the dining experience. Despite this, we were able to enjoy the delicious food in a comfortable setting!

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The sofa seats were comfortable and relaxing. They have a good selection of beers, but the wine options were not great. The food menu could use some improvement, but it might be acceptable for Ikebukuro. The carpaccio was not good, but the stew dishes were decent. The sausages were delicious. The service was good. Prices might be a bit high.

This is a creative cuisine restaurant renovated from an old folk house. I visited with my son and his wife for a lunch drink. The unique semi-private room, like an attic, is a highlight. The various bread appetizers, salmon carpaccio, crispy salad with seasonal vegetables, beef stew, spinach and mushroom ajillo, grape beef sirloin steak, and salted liver fried rice were all excellent and very delicious. They have a wide selection of beers to enjoy. We also had red and white wine, and they poured generously into the glass, making us feel like we got a good deal. The restaurant was fully booked for Sunday lunch drinks, and it seems to be very popular for girls' gatherings. It was a delicious and enjoyable place with a great atmosphere!

Today I visited this place for the first time. I tried to find it using Google Maps but I overshot it. The vertical sign said it was a soba noodle restaurant, and being on the second floor of a residential building made it hard to spot (lol). Inside, I was guided to a loft seat, but it was too low for me (lol), so I asked to be moved to a table on the first floor. The staff explained the system to me - you have to order at least 2 dishes per person, and the bread is all-you-can-eat. They seemed to be pushing craft beer, but I wanted to have a draft beer. Cheers! The bread was delicious! The appetizers included salad, liver pate with bread (which I had seconds of), salmon carpaccio, and garlic shrimp. I decided to try the craft beer, which was actually made in Chofu - how cool! I also ordered steak, but forgot to take a picture of it. I finished with a lemon sour. It's a 2-hour time limit, so I had to wrap it up. Overall, the appetizers were all tasty and well-prepared. The salad was my favorite with mixed greens. The steak was tender and had a great texture. The individual drinks were a bit pricey, so the all-you-can-drink option might be a better deal. I'm not sure about the prices, but it seems like you can switch to all-you-can-drink craft beer too. Thank you for the meal.

My friend made a reservation for us at a craft beer restaurant located behind Junkudo. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were captivated by the structure of the old house. There were small rooms to the right, another small room upstairs on the right, a slightly larger room to the left, tables scattered in the back, and more small rooms and stairs when you looked up. The interior had a secret base-like atmosphere that made my heart flutter with excitement. We were seated at a table hidden behind the stairs on the left. I loved the hidden feel of the seating area. The old wood and stairs, as well as the tin walls, ceramic coat hangers, and bucket lamps, all added to the excitement even before we started eating. With 60 types of craft beer to choose from and delicious rice dishes, it was a fantastic experience. And with unlimited bread, our stomachs were happily filled. We promised to sit at the table upstairs next time.

The mischievous and friendly staff, delicious plum wine (perfectly mixed), and hot dishes from the Dutch oven were all excellent. The seating area is like a secret attic space, accessed by climbing the stairs right next to the open door of the shop. It's a relaxing and cozy spot. Definitely a restaurant in Ikebukuro that I would love to visit again!

I made a reservation for just a seat. The appetizer was a platter of naan and bread rolls, all-you-can-eat. The dishes were typical Western-style pub food. The white wine sangria was delicious. The service was like a typical chain pub, slightly rushed when taking orders, clearing dishes, and settling the bill. There was only one toilet, and the seat was always left up, making it uncomfortable to use after someone had used it.

I was looking for a cozy spot and the half-room setting was quite nice. However, I found the menu to be a bit pricey for what you get. They have a good selection of drinks, so it might be better for those who come for drinks. I visited during lunchtime and wished there were more food options. It was nice that they offered unlimited refills of the bread served as a starter. I would like to come back for dinner next time.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit, in a quiet alley away from the hustle and bustle, is the restaurant "Landooz". The atmosphere is fantastic, as it is a renovated old folk house! We were guided to a semi-private loft on the second floor, with low ceilings and no sunken hearth, so the posture is slightly uncomfortable, but it reminds me of the childhood dream of a hidden retreat, making me excited. This time, we had reserved the "Premium All-You-Can-Drink" plan. Not only sours and wines, but also craft beers from various countries around the world are included in the all-you-can-drink plan, which is super fun (even though I can't drink that much, haha)! The appetizer includes unlimited bread, salami, prosciutto, and potato salad. The bread is not hard but fluffy, making it very easy to eat. Here is a brief review of the dishes: - Creamy Oyster Oil Pickled Oysters: The creamy taste of the oysters goes well with the olive oil aroma. - Spicy Marinated Sea Bream and Octopus: Both sea bream and octopus have a firm texture, and the refreshing dressing and vegetables are great. - Three Kinds of Mushrooms and Pancetta Ajillo: A dish that mushroom lovers will adore. The pancetta is salted and aged pork belly, while bacon is smoked pork belly. - Chicken and Green Onion Ajillo: It's impossible for this to be bad. Grilled chicken is always good, especially with green onions. - Plenty of Mussels Ajillo: Lives up to its name. And it's as good as its name suggests. Eating the bread soaked in the ajillo sauce is also amazing. - Tomato-stewed Gizzards: Soft and tender, you wouldn't even know it's gizzards unless told. Loved by those who enjoy the chewy texture of gizzards. - Salmon Carpaccio: A bit hard to separate, but delicious, no doubt. - Beef Rump Steak: The tender meat oozes with flavor. The skin-on potatoes are a nice touch. Makes you want to drink wine, haha. - Salted Liver Fried Rice: A perfect dish to finish off the meal. The saltiness and richness of the liver make it irresistible. We all ate a lot because it was so delicious. Oh, it was so delicious! We were able to enjoy a satisfying two hours, tasting the different flavors of craft beer. Thank you for the meal!!

This is a shop with an atmosphere reminiscent of the attic I admired as a child. The semi-private rooms have low ceilings, making it feel like visiting a friend's house... very relaxing. They serve alcohol from lunchtime. The food is delicious, but the real treat here is the building itself.

I used it for dinner with friends! It's a hidden gem of a restaurant, and the food was delicious. It's recommended for those who want to drink and relax without worrying about being seen in Ikebukuro. The prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get, but the unique atmosphere made it enjoyable.
