TOMIT
Livre's was a restaurant that I had been curious about since it opened, but this was my first time visiting. I went with my daughter. I had assumed it would be smaller, but it was actually quite spacious with table seating as well. My daughter had Perrier (800 yen) and I had a glass of red wine, Fleurie Les Hauts du Py 2016 (1200 yen, smooth and delicious). We ordered the Carrot Râpé (500 yen, really tasty), the Confit of Chicken Livers (500 yen, slightly salty which went well with the wine), the Cheese Platter (Mimolette, Comte, Roquefort, Chevrotin 1800 yen, delicious cheeses), the Tripe Gratin (700 yen, tasty), the Pork Belly White Wine Stew with Caper Flavor (1500 yen, tender and tasty pork belly with high-quality mashed potatoes), a glass of red wine, Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 2014 (1100 yen, fragrant and smooth), and the Cassoulet Half (2100 yen, includes duck confit and sausages, delicious). I had thought it was just a wine bar, but it turned out to be a proper French restaurant. The portion sizes for non-main dishes were small, so it's enjoyable for one person as well. The chef handles everything alone. I heard that this chef used to work at Comme Chez Vivienne. It was delicious.
