On a rainy Tuesday morning, I explored the Marunouchi Line area for business purposes. Planning to enjoy it at the office later in the evening, I got the following items to go from this shop. "Robuchon Croissant" - 280 yen each (x2). It's a relatively large croissant with a distinctive feature of finely layered inside, made not with the usual 27 layers but with 16 layers. Thanks to this, the rich aroma of butter spreads pleasantly in the mouth with every bite, highlighting the presence of butter like no other. The outer layer is extremely thin, so it starts with a soft texture, but the inside is densely packed with dough. Besides being delicious, it's a charming gem with many features that I personally like. This shop, located prominently next to the entrance on the ground floor of a commercial facility, was bustling with many customers on the day I visited. Although I only tried one type of bread, its deliciousness greatly raises expectations for other bread, making me want to visit again soon. Delicious croissant, thank you for the meal.

I came to a café for breakfast with Robuchon's bread! There aren't a huge variety of options, but each one looks delicious and it's hard to decide. The prices are reasonable too, which is surprising. The seasonal chestnut potage soup was delicious, with the sweetness of chestnuts, rich paste, and a hint of orange zest! They seem to warm up the bread depending on the type, so that's recommended! The croissant is still delicious even when it's cold.

A bakery called Robuchon in Shinjuku, which I visited on a whim after shopping. I spotted a pumpkin bread, so I bought it ☺️ The bread had a fluffy texture like shokupan (Japanese white bread) with well-incorporated pumpkin. Not only the color but also the taste was pleasantly sweet and very delicious ( ˙༥˙ ) They change their products according to the seasons, so I would love to visit again ⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝

On weekends, the interior of the restaurant is lively, with an eat-in area attached to a bakery. However, the level of the cakes they offer is really high. The Rouge I ordered (880 yen) was delicious, with a combination of raspberry and cherry chocolate mousse with pistachio brulee inside. The set tea for 400 yen feels quite reasonable. Satisfied.

When something has a "number one popular" label, you gotta buy it, right? I bought a cream puff. When I got home, I forgot how many pastries I bought, and mistook a cheese pastry for a sweet one, which surprised me (lol). It had an elegant sweetness with delicious cream. I enjoyed the others too, but since I only bought savory pastries, I regret not getting something simple like a croissant to savor the taste of bread.

- Pros: Luxurious atmosphere
- Cons: A bit pricey
- No parking available
- No specific rules
A bakery in Shinjuku, bearing the renowned name of Joel Robuchon. I visited for a light meal as they open from 8 a.m. The interior is predominantly red, with seating available for dining in across the aisle from the store. There are about 3 counter seats and around 16 tables. When dining in, it's recommended to secure a seat first before choosing your bread. They offer around 20 types of bread, priced at around 300 yen each, which is quite expensive. Some breads are labeled as the most popular. I purchased the following items that caught my eye:
- Curry Pan (360 yen): The bread has a crispy texture, filled with Keema curry with corn and cheese inside. The curry is spicy, but balanced out by the sweetness of the corn.
- Cream Pan (350 yen): Filled with cream in three spots. The dough is moist and soft, dusted with sugar for a moderate sweetness. The rich and creamy filling has a strong presence, pairing well with coffee.
- Croissant (280 yen): Crispy texture on the outside, with a solid buttery flavor inside with a good saltiness. A very light croissant that cleverly uses the air and space between the layers.
All of them were delicious and of high quality, but considering them as just bread, they are a bit expensive. Still, it was a good experience.

I came to stock up on food before Typhoon No. 13 intensifies the rain and wind. [First purchase at the bakery] ▪️ A minimum Châtine containing a whole chestnut soaked in rum. ▪️ Apple milk France with lemon added and cinnamon crumble topping. ▪️ A classic bestseller, a brioche baked with custard cream using Tahitian vanilla. ▪️ Curry bread with crispy bread crumbs. The autumn appetite has arrived, but after Typhoon No. 13 passes, the temperature will rise again...

I was impressed by the beautiful and delicious cake I had last time, so I decided to take a break here again today. While I usually like café lattes, I was drawn to the summer limited edition Apple Ginger Cider, so I ordered that. It seemed like there was only one staff member managing the payment counter and making drinks during weekday afternoons. When I was torn between the summer limited edition item and the flavored tea, I asked for advice. The staff member kindly explained the characteristics of each option, which made me feel relieved and impressed by their hospitality. I realized they have really great staff here. I felt like trying all the cakes, and I definitely plan to visit again soon.

Overall rating criteria with an average (normal) score of 3.0, rated in 0.5 increments. The total points are calculated by adding up the scores for food/taste multiplied by 4, service multiplied by 2, atmosphere multiplied by 2, and cost performance multiplied by 2, then dividing by 10 (alcohol/drinks are not included). ========== Not listed =========== Tasty.

- Cream Pan from Lobshon for ¥350
[Taste] The dough is slightly crispy, creating a crunchy texture with the sugar on top. I felt that it would have been even tastier if the dough was a bit crispier. The custard cream has a moderate sweetness, so there is no unpleasant feeling until the end, and you can enjoy eating it.
[Value for Money] The satisfaction in terms of fullness and taste does not quite match the price.

I chose a bread here and enjoyed it at the cafe next door. The croissant was crispy with thin layers stacked on top of each other, simply delicious. It's a larger size. I also ordered an iced coffee. It's a regular coffee. Anyway, I think it's not bad to use when you want to take a little break, especially because of the good location.

I stopped by on my way back from Basta Shinjuku. It was around 6:00 PM on a weekday, and there were still plenty of breads available. Overall, the prices were quite high. I had read about it in reviews, but indeed, it was quite expensive. Among them, I bought the following popular items at a relatively low price: - Cream Pan for 350 yen: The dough was just right, with a slight firmness at the edges, a good texture, and delicious cream. My 19-year-old daughter, who doesn't usually react much to bread, surprisingly liked it and said, "Buy it again!" - Pain au Chocolat for 300 yen: When warmed in an air oven, it was fluffy and crispy, with a light and delicious texture. If eaten as is, I might not repeat the purchase. Air ovens vary. If I go nearby again, I would like to buy these two items.

Located on the first floor of Shinjuku Newoman, which is directly connected from JR Shinjuku Station, is a bread specialty shop run by the famous French chef Joel Robuchon. The prices are a bit higher compared to regular bakeries, but the satisfaction level is even higher. Every bread you try is delicious!

I visited around 6 p.m. on a weekday and was able to purchase smoothly. * Some items were sold out. - Escargot for 250 yen, with a subtle olive and butter flavor, topped with a crispy and fluffy bread. - Pain Viennois for 270 yen, a fluffy French bread with a hint of milk fragrance. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

It's convenient being located near Shinjuku Station. The traditional baguette has a satisfying crispy crust, and the aged fermentation type is chewy and the flavor intensifies as you chew. The mini canelé has a crispy outer layer and a soft, chewy inside. For just 100 yen, it's a blissful moment in 2-3 bites. The cream puffs and quiches also have rich flavors, satisfying with just one. Everything is consistently delicious, making it a place you'll want to indulge in from time to time.

I purchased the recommended No. 3 black tea scone and canelé. Canelé is currently trending, with many different shops offering it and even seeing it occasionally at bakeries, but the canelé here was truly incredibly delicious and I was so impressed!

I went to a restaurant in Shinjuku for lunch before the Obon holidays. Although it was lunchtime, there were empty seats, so we were able to get in without any problems. The prices made me think, "Is this the price for bread?" but the taste was excellent. In particular, the melon bread was like a cupcake with a hint of tea, very elaborately made and incredibly delicious. Including iced coffee, it was not more than 4000 yen for two people. It felt like just going out for a stylish lunch.

The bread was delicious. The staff was attentive and polite, making me feel satisfied. It's a great place to linger and work remotely. They offer a wide variety of bread, so you won't get tired of it. A single piece of bread can be a light meal. The coffee was just average, so you might be fine with just the bread.

I stopped by solo on a holiday. A bakery located on the B1F of NEWoMan, directly connected to Shinjuku Station Miraina Tower Exit. It's a bakery that is run by a very famous French restaurant and is known for its top-quality bread. I had a bitter experience last time when I visited the Ebisu branch in the evening and more than half of the items were sold out. So, this time, I arrived on a certain Sunday after 12 o'clock. There were only 4 other customers. There were still over 30 types of products left, including cooking and confectionery items. With this many options, I could carefully choose what I wanted. After much consideration, I chose the waffle with sea urchin and shrimp, and the corn focaccia. I also bought a bagel from another store and shared them with my family the next morning. The waffle with sea urchin and shrimp had a tag that said "Serving an amuse-bouche in a panini style." It was a hot sandwich filled with a paste of sea urchin and shrimp flavors, making you crave wine even in the morning. The corn focaccia had plenty of butter mixed with corn in the dough, baked to perfection. It was small but very satisfying. It was delicious, but the cost performance was, well, you know. I'll visit again when I feel like treating myself. Thank you for the meal. I'll be back.
