Kagurazaka is famous for its old-fashioned charm and nostalgic atmosphere. It's a gourmet paradise with a variety of stylish and delicious restaurants such as French, Italian, bistro, and Chinese. I recently had the pleasure of trying out a recommended Italian restaurant in the quiet area of Kagurazaka. The chef's Italian dishes were delicious and the cost performance was great. The restaurant is located in a peaceful corner of Kagurazaka, away from the bustling shopping district. The simple yet cozy interior, along with the friendly service, created a pleasant dining atmosphere. I ordered the seasonal Chef's Special Course for 6000 yen which included various dishes like amuse-bouche, grilled summer squid stuffed with ricotta cheese, foie gras flan, lamb ragu casarecce pasta, roasted duck with burdock and red wine puree, and a tomato sauce pasta for the finale. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Although I indulged in multiple bottles of wine, the overall cost was quite high, but the quality of the course was outstanding. Thank you for the wonderful dinner experience!

The air conditioning was broken, and it was too hot, so I enjoyed the course while sweating a lot. The last tomato pasta was the most delicious. Since pasta was served twice in the course, I thought they must be confident in their pasta. I can choose the amount for the final tomato pasta, so next time I want to try 100g or something. I got quite full because it was a course meal.

Even though it's called Kagurazaka, the restaurant is actually located quite close to Edogawabashi. I visited on a weekday evening, and of course, the place was packed with reserved customers. The delicious food aside, the detailed explanations of the dishes by the elderly staff added a special touch. We opted for the course menu and decided to go for wine pairing since they offer wines by the glass as well. Each dish was elegantly portioned, but for those who want to eat to their heart's content, you can request a larger portion for the pasta. I felt like I got a good deal. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

It was a cozy little restaurant. The interior was clean with high ceilings, and the waiter was handsome while the elderly gentleman kindly kept an eye on us. The set menu with appetizer, bread, two pasta dishes, main course, and dessert for less than 3000 yen was astonishing! Especially, the bread served was exceptionally delicious. I would like to visit again.

I had the Degustazione course for lunch and enjoyed a sweet ginger ale drink. They kindly accepted my request to change the reservation time on the day. The specialty and main dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and engaging in conversation. I ordered the pasta as 80g, which might have been a bit too much for me personally. The interior of the restaurant was lovely. They mentioned that they change the menu regularly. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

I went to lunch with a friend in Kagurazaka that day. When we arrived, it was fully booked as indicated in the reservation, so I was glad we made a reservation in advance. In conclusion, it was a big hit! The taste and portion at this price point were perfect. My friend was also happy and said she would like to come again. The set menu included both meat and fish, two types of pasta (and you can have your favorite amount of Pomodoro sauce), all for 4,180 yen, which is amazing! Especially, the specialty Foie Gras flan was delicious! It was rich, creamy, and had a smooth texture. It paired perfectly with the sweet Marsala wine sauce. The slightly sweet and salty taste was so good, I could eat it endlessly. It was also delicious to eat it on cheese focaccia. I feel like eating it again when I think about it. Remember this place as a reliable lunch spot around 5,000 yen. When looking for a lunch place with friends, we often search in this price range, but it can be surprisingly difficult. Also, the convenience of being able to easily make a reservation online is a big plus! Highly recommended!

Located a short walk from Kagurazaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Beatty Caterina is a truly authentic Italian restaurant along Edogawa Bridge Street. The exterior is very simple with no decorations, making it hard to tell if it's a shop or a restaurant without the "OPEN" sign, but it is indeed a genuine Italian restaurant. I went for lunch and experienced top-notch cuisine and service. The Degustazione course started with a dish resembling black Go stones, with two amuse-bouches on top. Despite being small and meant to be eaten by hand, it offered a complex mix of flavors. The appetizer of slow-cooked mackerel and Manpukuji green peppers was so substantial it could pass for a main dish. The Specialty Foie Gras Flan lived up to its name with its delicious taste, reminiscent of a slightly sweet dessert, but the wine paired exceptionally well. The handmade pasta with Wagyu beef ragu was outstanding with its thin, flat noodles and rich cheese. The main dish of slow-cooked pork and grilled zucchini was satisfying in both the tenderness of the pork and the volume of zucchini. You can choose the amount of tomato sauce spaghetti in 10g increments, and the simplicity and authenticity of the pasta showcased the restaurant's high culinary skills. The seasonal peach sorbet for dessert was refreshing. The lunch course offered great value, leading to a result of indulging in wine. Overall, it was an Italian restaurant with impeccable atmosphere that leaves nothing to be desired for a weekend lunch.

You will arrive at the restaurant in about a 5-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station and Edogawabashi Station. While it is possible to walk from Iidabashi Station, it is in the opposite direction, so you will need to navigate the ups and downs of the slope for over 15 minutes. I made a reservation two weeks ago and visited on a Saturday. The restaurant has a classic atmosphere with a touch of casualness, making it suitable for meals with friends or girls' gatherings. The corn cold soup and fritters are appetizing dishes that stimulate the appetite. The fritters wrapped in bamboo charcoal are also impressive. The shrimp carpaccio and jellyfish (substitute for shrimp) are refreshing and perfect for summer. The foie gras pate with figs was a standout this time. The gentle and smooth finish of the foie gras was impressive. It was a unique dish that made me realize how delicious foie gras can be. The squid and seaweed pasta has a good balance of seaweed flavor and squid texture. It's a taste that makes you crave white wine. The Yamagata pork roast is sweet even in the vegetables. The meat is juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The tomato pasta (choose your preferred amount up to 150g) allows you to adjust the portion to your appetite. The passion fruit is an impressive dish. It's of such high quality that it's almost too good to be served as a dessert. Eating and drinking more than expected, the total cost was just under 5,000 yen per person. It's an unbelievable cost-performance ratio. The satisfaction after the meal is high. Each dish has a strong impact and all of them are impressively delicious. The passion fruit dessert is rich, slightly acidic, and goes perfectly with nuts. I felt a slight difficulty in access, but I recommend it to anyone in any situation.

I visited Piatto Caterina for lunch. I was able to make a reservation on the same day and visited. I arrived a little late due to sudden rain, but I was welcomed by a lovely staff member and had a very pleasant lunch. The cost performance is good, the taste is delicious, and I am very satisfied with this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I had a 2750 yen lunch. When I arrived at 12:00, there was only one other customer, but more reservation customers kept coming, so I was glad I made a reservation even though it was a weekday. The dishes were all delicious. I chose the fish, but my daughter's pork sauté was very tasty. It was cooked at a low temperature, with two thick slices of pink, tender pork, similar to roast beef, and had more volume than the fish. It was a hot day with a high temperature of 36°C, and the air conditioning didn't seem to be working well, so it was hot inside the restaurant. I hope they improve that. Also, our table was near where the waitstaff were working, and I felt uncomfortable hearing a young staff member reprimanding an older staff member aloud. Criticism should be given in a place where customers cannot hear.

On Sunday, I made a same-day reservation through Tabelog. Only the pranzo course was available for same-day reservations through Tabelog. The pranzo course was ¥2750 per person and included: - Locally sourced organic vegetable misticanza - Hazelnut flan - Two kinds of pasta - Choice of meat or fish of the day - Dessert: peach sorbet with berry sauce and blancmange - Although I ordered iced coffee, I received iced tea instead, which was amusing - Non-alcoholic sparkling wine was served - Asahi Super Dry was recommended - The rose wine was enjoyable - The tuna oil pasta, nebe sauté, and dessert were particularly delicious. The lunch course offered great value. The restaurant has high ceilings, but the air conditioning seemed a bit weak. However, when I looked a bit warm, they kindly turned on a fan for me.

Thank you to the staff at the restaurant! I used it for my girlfriend's birthday. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice, and we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. I chose 30g, but many male customers ordered around 100g. I was recommended a beer to start with, which had a refreshing scent perfect for a hot day. After having a glass of red wine, I had a wine pairing. The dishes were delicious, but I didn't find a wine that matched my preference. It seems they have a good selection of reasonably priced wines.

It was about a 10-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station, located in a simple residential area that matched the impression of the sign and interior. For the appetizers, the slightly strong sourness and the colorful appearance and texture would surely increase your appetite. The nut and fig flan was a dish with both a sense of taste and presentation. The two pasta dishes were a small shrimp peperoncino with olive oil, bringing out a natural aroma with small shrimp, and a heavy dish. I liked the tenderness of the beef in the beef and tomato penne, and thought the combination of tomato and beans was good. For the main dish, I chose fish, which was Spanish mackerel today. Other than the crispy skin that I liked, it was a decent dish. The dessert was the highlight of the day. The peach gelato with yogurt and berry mousse allowed me to enjoy a moderate sweetness and sourness, and it had a good volume. I particularly liked the aroma of lactic acid bacteria, which was perfect for the hot summer season.

Having a leisurely lunch without the kids with my mom friends... This place doesn't allow children, but it's recommended by mom friends. It was my first time here. Since you can only make reservations for set courses, I decided to go on a whim...! It was fully booked, but luckily we were able to get a table.
