"Iguchi" in Nakameguro is one of my favorite restaurants where you can enjoy a wide variety of yakitori course dishes. One of the highlights is the delicious beer "KAGUWA". The white beer has a yuzu flavor, while the red beer has a sansho pepper flavor. * Foie gras croquette - The foie gras flavor bursts in just one bite. * Chawanmushi - This time, the refreshing cucumber sauce was impressive. * Liver pate * Rich chicken soup - It is said to be cooked for 8 hours, and the rich umami flavor is addictive. * Japanese salad - The bitterness reminiscent of shungiku was delicious. * Baked cheese caciocavallo * Negima (chicken and leek skewers) * Sasami (chicken tenderloin) * Tebasaki (chicken wings) - They asked if I preferred bone-in or boneless, and of course I chose bone-in for the best flavor. * Tsukune (chicken meatballs) * Seseri (chicken neck) * Pinchos - Gizzard, harami (skirt steak), heart, bonjiri (tail), motsu negi shio (intestines with green onions), motsu tare (intestines with sauce) * Vegetable pinchos - Tomato, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant * I added an additional order of carbonara made by the owner himself. There are also other options like oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl), tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg), and ramen, so I always have trouble deciding. I will definitely visit again!"

I had been curious about this slightly upscale yakitori restaurant for a while, so I decided to visit to check it out. The restaurant had no sign, so I was a bit confused at first. After taking the elevator to the 4th floor, I found a dark room with only a dim light shining through, and I realized I was in the right place. The course menu seemed quite extensive, but the portion sizes were small, so it was manageable. I ordered an additional carbonara and truffle salt onigiri, and they split each dish into two servings for us, making it easy to eat. Everything was delicious, but the chicken mince, chicken tenderloin, chicken wings, and chicken tender were particularly impressive. I usually don't like liver, but the liver paste here was sweet and not too strong, so I enjoyed it. The only downside was that the dishes took a bit long to come out, so it might be better for a casual outing with friends rather than a business meeting. With the additional dishes and drinks, the total cost for two people was around 18,000 yen, which was more reasonable than I expected. It was a great place to have a leisurely meal and conversation, as we ended up spending about 3 hours there.

The restaurant had no sign, so I hesitated to enter, but when I opened the door, I found a very welcoming atmosphere. I went there for my birthday and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I would love to visit again in the future. Everything was tasty, but the tsukune was a standout! The dishes came in small portions, but by the time we had the carbonara as the final course, we were so full. It was a satisfying meal.

I used a private room for a company dinner with 4 people. When I first sat down, my initial impression was "cramped!" It took about 30 minutes for everyone to arrive, but the staff didn't do much besides handing out wet towels, and the food was just average. There was a mistake where only one person didn't have sauce on their chawanmushi. The staff's explanations about the food and drinks were always vague. It took over 3 hours for all the course dishes to be served. I felt that various improvements, both small and big, are necessary.

Located in a building 3.4 minutes' walk from Asakusa Station, this yakitori restaurant is a hidden gem with no visible sign outside. The cozy private room we sat in was dimly lit and had a tatami mat floor. We ordered a course menu and enjoyed Highballs, spending around 20,000 yen for two people. The food was decently tasty, with the carbonara being a standout dish. The place seems to have been renovated recently, giving off a modern vibe.

The interior of the restaurant is pitch black with no individual rooms. The seasoning is simple but the flavors are delicious without any overpowering taste. The course meal was served very quickly, which was much appreciated. Although I wanted to try the Carbonara and other dishes, I was already full from the course meal so I had to give up.

I went to the Iguchi Azabu-Juban store in Naka-Meguro for the first time in a while. It's been a few years, I think. Each time a course dish was served, I felt nostalgic and enjoyed the meal, remembering how it was served in small dishes like this. It was delicious. Being confined in a black box in a private room for two people makes it easy to have secret conversations!

The private rooms seemed small, so I opted for the counter seating. The service was okay, but the food and the atmosphere at the counter were quite good. It's perfect for when you want to enjoy a variety of dishes in small portions. It's relatively easy to make a reservation, so I would like to go back if I feel like eating yakitori again.

☆First visit to "Nakameguro Iguchi Azabujuban Store" near Azabu-Juban Station on the Oedo Line and Namboku Line☆. The course started with appetizers, followed by a selection of 5 skewers of bite-sized yakitori and vegetables. The atmosphere was quiet and allowed for a relaxing dining experience. The course did not include a closing dish or dessert, so we had to order those separately. I chose carbonara and chicken broth ramen for the closing dishes, ending up with an unexpected double serving of noodles! Overall, I quite liked the course contents, although the closing dishes and drinks were a bit on the expensive side. Thank you for the meal.

The entrance to the board is stylish and the course meal is exquisite. The skewers grilled right in front of you were amazing. The main dish is yakitori, but the highlight is the carbonara for dessert. It comes with truffles and the quality is unbelievable for a yakitori restaurant. An exceptional yakitori course in a luxurious setting! I am completely satisfied.

This time, the staff at the counter remembered me from my previous reservation in a private room for some reason. I like the Okinawan tea drink here. The compact and stylish bird decorations caught my eye. This time, I chose the carbonara as my final dish. I feel like I've had this before, even though it's been a while. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation one week in advance and this time we had a private room. There were several long and thin skewers of yakitori in a pinchos style, with various types to try a little bit of each, which was perfect. It's just the right amount, even for girls. We ordered ramen for the finish. Thank you for the meal.

There is also a salad using watermelon, grilled chicken wings, and skewers in a pinchos style with 4 items of bonjiri and 2 items of pinchos style. Additionally, there are 4 items of grilled vegetables in a pinchos style, oyakodon, and soboro don.

After exiting from exit 5 of Mabufukun station and walking a bit, you will see a flashy Korean restaurant called Takkanmari Daigaku in the same building as the 4th floor. There is an elevator at the back right side of the building, and when you get off on the 4th floor, you will find a grey door with no sign. Upon opening it, you will see a sign that says "Iguchi" at the end of the hallway. They offer stylish course menus that are served promptly. The yakitori had a light seasoning, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients. There are also condiments like grated daikon, shichimi, sansho, and black shichimi for flavor variation. The course ends with unique cuts of meat and vegetables served in a pincho style. We also added the famous carbonara and chicken soboro rice at the end, both of which were delicious. We enjoyed a recommended white wine (Chardonnay that day) and had a very satisfying dinner. I would love to visit again.

I used it for my birthday. The calm atmosphere and the quietness of the counter with the bite-sized course dishes coming out one after another. The cost performance is good, but if you only have the course, you need to add a closing dish! I ordered carbonara, oyakodon, and torisoba to share. Carbonara is a must-order. Oyakodon was just average... I want to use it again.

Hidden gem yakitori restaurant in Azabu-Juban. The location can be a bit tricky to find, so I recommend allowing extra time to get there. The interior of the restaurant is surprisingly dark, with spotlights shining on the yakitori to make them stand out. The yakitori is the star of the show here! The taste was okay, maybe better when eaten hot at the counter. I noticed the atmosphere was similar to Sushi Nishitsugu in Ebisu, and it turns out they are related.

- Inside the restaurant, we had a private room. I had never experienced having yakitori in a private room before, so I couldn't imagine what it would be like, but they brought the food promptly and the speed was great. - Both the private room and the counter had a nice atmosphere. - We had the omakase course which included: - French foie gras croquette: Very delicious! However, it was a bit oily when lifted, giving the impression that the oil had not been drained properly. - Seasonal chawanmushi in one spoon: A gentle flavor, nothing out of the ordinary. - Iguchi homemade liver pate with homemade bread: Toasted bread with pate spread on top, a new and tasty combination. - Luxurious chicken soup cooked for 8 hours: A soup rich in chicken flavor, reminiscent of Ttakkanmari. It was delicious. - Japanese vegetable salad: A salad with cucumber and watermelon, refreshing and surprisingly delicious with the watermelon adding a summer touch. - Kachokabaro cheese from Nitta Ranch in Hokkaido: Delicious cheese with concentrated umami. - Recommended skewers: 5 pieces of green onion and chicken breast yakitori with delicious wasabi from Gotemba, and chicken wing meatball: The chicken meatball was the best I've ever had. It was rich in flavor without needing any sauce or egg yolk, just bursting with the natural umami of the chicken. - Recommended binchotan-style skewers: Gizzards, seseri (chicken neck), heart, and bonjiri (chicken tail), and vegetables such as tomato, zucchini, mushrooms, and eggplant: Other skewers were delicious but nothing extraordinary. - For the finale, we had: - Carbonara: Extremely delicious, reminiscent of authentic Italian carbonara. It was mainly made with eggs, with a strong pepper and truffle aroma that made you want to keep eating. - Oyakodon (fluffy and soft): I was curious about what "fluffy and soft" meant, and it turned out to be a sweet egg oyakodon that looked like a sauce. It was like a sushi egg, and it was a great way to end the course. The foie gras croquette, cucumber and watermelon salad, chicken meatball, and carbonara were particularly delicious. Overall, the food was tasty, served promptly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was calm and pleasant. It truly lived up to its reputation as a popular restaurant.

There was no sign on the building or the entrance door, and I opened the door with hesitation. Inside, I finally saw the name of the restaurant in a dark corridor. It reminded me of a membership-based yakitori restaurant in Fukuoka. The yakitori was delicious, with a variety of cuts to choose from. For the final meal choice, I struggled but ended up getting half portions of carbonara and oyakodon, which were both excellent. I would love to eat at the counter with a splendid bonsai decoration again. I will definitely visit again, and the Dassai lemon sour was also delicious.
