It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Tokyo Station, but Otemachi Station is closer. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the Palace Hotel Tokyo. Parking fees are normally ¥500 for 30 minutes, ¥3,300 for overnight. The restaurant has been featured in the Michelin Guide. There is a smoking area inside the restaurant, and the restroom is located outside. The atmosphere is truly excellent, more modern than Chinese. The staff is half Japanese and half Chinese. There are 5 private rooms, but we had to sit at a table by the window. We ordered the second most expensive "Sapphire Course" (¥27,500) tax included + 15% service charge. The course includes: - Assorted appetizers with Kinka pork char siu - Lightly boiled fresh shellfish with kelp-flavored soy sauce - Signature Peking Duck - Braised shark fin, abalone mushroom in rich white soup - Guangzhou-style stew with two types of seafood, kailan, and tomato - Stir-fried Japanese beef and seasonal vegetables with Ma La sauce - Shrimp wonton noodle soup with ultra-thin Hong Kong noodles - Dessert On February 20, 2023, at 7:00 PM, I dined with two other guests. We enjoyed the Sapphire Course, which included various dishes like the Kinka pork char siu appetizer, Peking Duck, braised shark fin and abalone mushroom, stir-fried Japanese beef, and more. The dishes were all expertly prepared and delicious. We also had drinks like Qingdao beer, Yuzu sake soda, Catena Alta Chardonnay, and Sato wheat shochu. The overall dining experience was fantastic.

I had a very elegant and luxurious Chinese meal. The photo shows a rare dish of stir-fried Jawa spinach with a red broth. It's a common ingredient in China and often used in home cooking. It had a gentle flavor and was delicious. I also had Peking duck, tempura eel, mapo tofu, and all the dishes were delicious. I left the restaurant feeling very full.

I used it for my friend's 60th birthday celebration. I selected a course with Peking duck because I love the duck here. The delicious courses kept coming one after another, and it was nice to be able to focus on the conversation. There was a music box performance for the birthday celebration, but other than that, it was pretty standard. It may have been busy during lunchtime or maybe because we were seated in the back, but every time we needed something like taking photos, getting water, or paying the bill, we had to call out "excuse me" each time, which gave the impression that they weren't paying attention. I feel like the service was better when I visited before, so that was a bit disappointing.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. I ordered a mixed appetizer platter, Peking duck, shrimp with XO sauce, and spring rolls. Everything was delicious, especially the Peking duck which is a must-try dish! The experience of eating Peking duck was truly amazing. Although it is a bit pricey, the food is so good that it's worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to something luxurious.

A Chinese restaurant located inside Tokyo Station Palace Hotel. The interior is beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. The portion sizes are decent and satisfying. The Peking duck has a lot of filling and is very flavorful. It was so delicious that I wanted to order more. The additional cost is only 2000 yen, so it is quite affordable.

I used this restaurant for hosting, so I don't have any food photos. It's a private room, but the staff does a great job of checking in, providing excellent service. The dishes are all of high quality. The Beijing duck, in particular, was exquisite with the perfect blend of meat and vegetables. The other dishes were also carefully prepared and didn't interrupt the conversation. The guests were very pleased. Thank you for the meal. Pearl Course ¥14,300 (tax included, service charge not included) MENU: - Selected appetizers - Stir-fried clam with green perilla sauce - Beijing duck - Shark fin and hair crab meat soup - Stir-fried Yamayuri pork and bitter gourd with cumin flavor - Selected dim sum (2 kinds) - Chicken and corn fried rice - Dessert. At the Amber Palace restaurant.

The Peking Duck at Amber Palace is truly amazing ❤️ I sincerely believe that the Peking Duck from the China Hotel Group is the best in the world. Enjoying the delicious shark fin soup and Peking Duck against the backdrop of a stunning view makes me feel completely satisfied. But the Xiaolongbao is so tasty that I can't resist having just one. And then another. I end up ordering various dishes. As the sun sets slowly, a birthday plate is brought out, along with an music box. It was a memorable dinner with excellent food, beautiful scenery, and exceptional hospitality. This dinner will be a cherished memory for me.

I visited the Chinese restaurant "Amber Palace" in Tokyo, which is ranked 69th out of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in Tokyo with a rating of 3.77 on Tabelog. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the Palace Hotel and has a grand entrance and traditional Chinese interior decor. It is part of the China Restaurant Group and is considered a high-end establishment. I had a business meeting at the Palace Hotel and decided to dine here. The appetizer platter included roast pork, tomato, and pumpkin. The dim sum platter had five varieties including leek buns, curry fried dumplings, shrimp dumplings, steamed dumplings, and meat buns. The chicken and summer vegetable stir-fry, clam fried rice, and Hong Kong-style soy sauce fried noodles were all delicious. The almond tofu, chocolate, and tea dessert was also very tasty. Overall, the food quality was high and the flavors were consistent and reliable. The fried rice and fried noodles were particularly outstanding. It is a great restaurant with a good reputation.

After accompanying my wife to the hospital, we visited this restaurant together for the first time. I called around 11 o'clock on a weekday for lunch, and they said, "We can seat you at 1:30." It was a long wait, but we decided to go anyway. The lunch was delicious, especially the three appetizers with char siu and Peking duck! We will definitely come back again!

The restaurant has a relaxed and privacy-conscious table arrangement, with a central service table for Peking duck. The signature Peking duck has deliciously crispy skin. Each appetizer is carefully crafted, and the dim sum is on par with high-end restaurants in Hong Kong. The service is excellent, making it the best Chinese restaurant in Tokyo hotels.

I visited during the day on a weekday. The seating area was full within sight. The Peking Duck had crispy skin and was delicious. The dishes came out at a good pace, and they regularly refilled the warm tea. For dessert, there was a refreshing yogurt pudding with pineapple sauce.

- Fried Conger Eel (limited time only): a must-try dish
- Peking Duck: a bit pricey but worth trying at least once
- Shrimp Mayonnaise: a creamy and delicious dish that you definitely want to order
- Sweet and Sour Pork with Black Vinegar
- Summer Vegetable Fried Rice (limited time only)
- Mango Pudding: the top layer was like sherbet, so I was surprised as I was expecting a rich pudding

Amber Palace, a Chinese restaurant located in Palace Hotel Tokyo, is known for its luxurious atmosphere and stunning views of the Imperial Palace nearby. The restaurant is on par with the group's other high-end restaurant, Furusato Hana. One unique feature of Amber Palace is the large windows that offer a view of the night skyline, including Tokyo Tower.
The dining experience begins with a toast with Amber Ebisu beer, exclusive to Amber Palace. The meal starts with a selection of appetizers, including succulent white clams, crispy char siu, and refreshing jellyfish. The Beijing Duck, with its large slices of crispy skin, is a standout dish. The meal continues with flavorful dishes such as braised shark fin and crab, stir-fried scallops and crab, and spicy shrimp and mayonnaise shrimp.
The meal also includes a light and savory clam broth soba with thin Hong Kong noodles, and a luxurious soup called Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, featuring ingredients like shark fin, abalone, and goji berries. The dining experience concludes with almond tofu dessert and a selection of drinks including Amber Ebisu beer, Ichiro's Malt soda, and a special carbonated whiskey drink. Overall, the dining experience at Amber Palace was exceptional and memorable.

I have tried various Peking ducks from Japan to China, but nothing beats the China Hotel Group! As they have earned a Michelin one-star, the overwhelming atmosphere and the restaurant in the Palace Hotel are a must-visit. Normally, I would just order Peking duck a la carte at places like China Hotel or Purple Orchid, so this was my first experience with a course meal. The stir-fries and dim sum had a well-balanced and gentle flavor. The crispy Peking duck skin, which can only be ordered in 6-7 pieces per duck, is a must-add-on or you will definitely regret it - it's that delicious! It's a super luxurious use of Peking duck. The fact that you can add on for just 700 yen per piece is great! I don't have any allergies, so it wasn't a problem, but there was no confirmation about the ingredients when ordering... It was disappointing to find that my dislikes were included in various dishes. Menu: - Assorted 2 types of Jinhuah pork char siu - Cold jellyfish head - Blanched Bai Mir shellfish and okahijiki - Stir-fried scallops, broccoli, and edamame - Signature Peking duck - Shark fin and thinly sliced abalone soup - Stir-fried beef ribeye with wasabi sauce - Sticky rice shumai - Chive dumplings - Daikon mochi - Pork in Zhenjiang black vinegar - Black fried rice with pine nuts and soy sauce - Black tea pudding - Pu'er tea Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had a meal at the Chinese restaurant called Kohakukyu inside the Palace Hotel. The atmosphere was very nice. They offer courses, but I decided to order a la carte and chose my favorite dishes. I toasted with Kohaku Ebisu and Premium Malt beer. We ordered a mixed appetizer platter for two people. Both types of roasted pork were delicious. The Peking duck was as good as the reviews said, it was the best I've ever had. I had two pieces by myself. The braised sea cucumber with shark fin was a bit expensive, but it was not that special, so I probably won't order it next time. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious. The sesame dumplings for dessert were cute. It was our anniversary, and they prepared a plate and a music box, which was really nice. However, even after finishing dessert, it took a while for it to come out, so I was a bit nervous that they had forgotten. It seemed like there were some circumstances causing the delay. Other than that, the service was wonderful. I would like to come back next time and focus on eating the Peking duck.

Visited with family. Walked from Tokyo Station and was mesmerized by the surrounding skyscrapers, arrived at the hotel in no time. The hotel entrance to the luxurious interior of Amber Palace was filled with a sense of luxury. Reserved the 6,600 yen course. All dishes were delicious, but the recommended Peking duck had a unique texture and was tastier than any I've had before. Is this what Peking duck is supposed to taste like? Thank you for the meal!

Core store of a Chinese hotel group. This restaurant is known for its Beijing duck. It is a luxurious hotel where even the American president stayed, and it is one of the main dining options. In the center of the dining area, there is an island kitchen where a Beijing duck specialty chef and a madame from Beijing demonstrate the cutting and finishing of the duck from a whole piece. Just like the Beijing duck, the madame at this restaurant is also a specialty. The Beijing duck prepared by the chef and madame has a perfect crispiness despite the thick cut of the skin. The flavor is evenly infused, creating an ideal deliciousness. The cucumber is peeled and adds a refreshing texture that complements the Beijing duck. The course starts with four appetizers. The honey-roasted pork is also wonderful. The pork belly skin is crispy on the surface. The pork is boiled after making holes in a large piece with a sword, and only the skin is roasted to a crispy texture. The crunchy jellyfish, scallop and seaweed with Sichuan pepper soy sauce, is delicious and pairs well with champagne. The dim sum includes three traditional dishes. The radish cake goes perfectly with the spiciness of the XO sauce. The pork shumai has a robust meaty flavor. The scallop and spinach steamed dumplings bring out the sweetness of the scallop with a hint of spinach, creating an exquisite taste. Following the Beijing duck, there is a rare glass noodle soup. The seafood ingredients include tiny bamboo shoots and small shrimps with a bouncy texture. The stir-fried dish consists of chicken and seasonal vegetables. The sweet and savory cashew nut sauce is light and pairs well with Shaoxing wine. The meal ends with fried rice with roasted pork and lettuce. The flavorful roasted pork remains delicious until the last bite. The rice is stir-fried to perfection with the lettuce, creating an elegant taste. For dessert, there is coconut pudding topped with fruit sauce, accompanied by chocolate, coconut, and purple sweet potato dumplings on the side. The champagne for toasting is Taittinger. An orthodox Chinese meal pairs well with orthodox champagne. With the scallop and Sichuan pepper soy sauce, a glass of champagne is easily enjoyed. The wine selection includes white and red Burgundy, among others, with a wide variety available by the glass. Shaoxing wine ranges from aged 3 years to vintage bottles, offering great flexibility. Located right in front of the Imperial Palace, this restaurant is a representative of the Chinese hotel group, offering a well-balanced dining experience. The high quality of the cuisine is complemented by the attentive service typical of a hotel and the enjoyable performance characteristic of a Chinese restaurant, creating a wonderful hospitality experience. If you want to enjoy Beijing or Shanghai cuisine in Japan, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

My second visit to Kohakugū, a special restaurant where my family gathers on special occasions. The dishes were prepared with great care and were delicious. The Peking duck and my favorite shark fin soup were exceptional! We could also enjoy a beautiful view of cherry blossoms from the Palace Hotel 1st floor.

A nice Chinese restaurant located inside the Palace Hotel. We used it for our anniversary. The dishes were carefully prepared and beautifully presented, making it enjoyable to look at. The Peking duck was delicious... we even had seconds.

I couldn't get a window seat when I made a reservation for 12:00, but the tables are spaced out enough so you can enjoy your meal comfortably. The rapeseed flowers on the appetizer were delicious with the scallop sauce. I wanted to buy some to take home. Every dish was tasty. The Peking duck didn't have the meat rolled together, which was good, but some parts of the skin were too crispy and crunchy, which was a bit disappointing. Definitely make a reservation and give it a try.

The cheapest lunch course on regular days is around 3,000 yen, with classic flavors and elegant taste. It's not greasy like typical Chinese restaurants, but the portion size may not be enough for big eaters like me. If only the fried rice at the end was all-you-can-eat, then there would be no complaints! The upscale atmosphere and attentive service of the restaurant are impeccable (they refill your tea promptly). It's a great place for lunch meetings with business partners, where you can have conversations over a meal. The recommended dishes like Peking duck are available in a higher-priced course (around 8,000 yen).
