This year, the bar will introduce its original craft beers. The seats are limited and require a reservation. I experienced "THE ROOF SEAT & CHAMPAGNE SET" which includes the entrance ticket to SHIBUYA SKY, a sofa seat, a mini bottle of champagne, and a snack for 5,900 yen per person. The bar operates from 16:00 to 22:00 (L.O. 21:30) except in August when it is from 17:00 to 22:00 (L.O. 21:30). The bar will be open from April 28th, 2023 to November 30th, 2023.

I went there first thing in the morning on January 5th. The view of Mount Fuji was crystal clear and amazing. The ramune soft serve ice cream was refreshing and delicious. The design of Shibuya Sky was very nice. Not to mention the fantastic views, the area leading up to the roof also had lovely designs.

Shibuya Sky Rooftop SKY STAGE at 229m above ground level. The best location to enjoy Shibuya-exclusive Shibuki beer from Koedo Brewery, made with three types of yeast: sake yeast, wine yeast, and beer yeast. It has a citrusy and fruity aroma with a bitter taste typical of beer. Although it's a standing bar, the trendy urban music adds to the atmosphere. Had the best time there.

I made a reservation online for the rooftop bar sofa seats on the 45th floor of the Scramble Square, which I had been curious about. When I went up to the 45th floor, all my belongings except for my phone were stored in lockers. It's not allowed to hold jackets, etc. in your hands, so be careful. I went to the bar counter to receive my drink and then sat down. The night view overlooking Shibuya is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for a date! However, the drinks were lukewarm and that was disappointing. Also, the 50-minute time limit is short.

I decided to go with Shibuya Craft Beer and enjoyed it with friends on the private terrace while standing. The experience of drinking alcohol while feeling the high sky and overlooking the Tokyo skyline was amazing. It's best to aim for sunset between 6pm and 7pm during this time of year, as you can enjoy the three different views of daytime, twilight, and nighttime. It's a truly luxurious experience.

I used to just pass by, thinking it was just an observation facility, but I was definitely missing out. The weather is nice outside during this season, so it's perfect. If you want to take lots of photos, I recommend going with friends, and if you want to relax, go with your partner. The sofa seats are a bit pricey, so I suggest going on a special occasion. Standing on the glass-walled SKY EDGE, you can feel like you're flying over Shibuya from above, with no boundary between the sky and the city. It can be quite scary, but the exhilarating image stays in your mind, making you want to visit during the daytime as well. The mini bottle of Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut champagne, Shibumyo beer, delicious snacks, everything was amazing.

Located on the rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square, a building directly connected to Shibuya Station, is The Roof Shibuya Sky. I went on a date with my partner to this place. It has been quite some time since Shibuya Sky opened, but I realized I hadn't been there yet, so I decided to go despite the entrance fee. The place was quite crowded, and all the reserved seats were taken, but we were able to find standing space near the entrance. We ordered a Shibou (800 yen), Sandara Wine Mojito Sparkling (800 yen), and Mixed Nuts Cheese Hop (600 yen). We enjoyed the open-air rooftop bar experience, which reminded me of the time I visited the world's highest bar, "Sirocco," in Bangkok, Thailand. It's a great feeling to enjoy such a pleasant bar experience right in the heart of Shibuya. We raised a toast with our drinks and enjoyed the night view while snacking on nuts. I even took a picture of the Google Japan headquarters building from above using my Google Pixel. It may be a bit geeky, but I had a lot of fun. I recommend this place for a date. I visited the observation facility SHIBUYA SKY at Shibuya Scramble Square. After enjoying the view, I found a rooftop bar and decided to try it out. Due to the state of emergency, alcohol sales were suspended, so I had a non-alcoholic beer and my wife had a non-alcoholic white wine. We were advised to use the standing area as there is a charge and a 50-minute time limit for the sofa seats. We had a pleasant time standing, but the sofa seats looked even more comfortable, so that's something to try next time. The total cost for both of us was ¥1,600. (Separate admission ticket required for the observation facility)

I only received one nut, though, so I wonder if they forgot to give me more (laughs). The view is very beautiful and highly recommended!

In case the rooftop is closed due to rain or bad weather, changes or cancellations are not allowed. The fee will not be refunded, and the paid fee can be used as a standby ticket or at the indoor Paradise Lounge. A standby ticket can only be used if there are unsold seats on the day. This means that there is a slightly lower chance of entry during busy times like weekends, holidays, or the beautiful night view after sunset. The fee remains the same regardless of the crowd, and you may end up with standing seats.

I visited around 5:30 PM on a regular day ♡ After a sudden downpour in the evening, I was worried about the view, but when I climbed to the observation deck, the view became fantastical and my excitement soared! I usually visit rooftop bars in Singapore's Marina Bay and Bangkok, and I underestimated Tokyo's rooftop. The view here exceeded my expectations in a good way, leaving me speechless ♡ The view was amazing, although it may depend on the time and weather conditions! I was moved by the performance that was on par with overseas rooftop bars! I happened to check for available seats at the counter on the observation deck that day, and luckily there was a sofa seat at the back that I could use ◡̈♥︎ They served drinks in bottles and put nuts in a bag into a special box for me to carry to my seat. It may be a COVID-19 precaution, but I would appreciate it if they could at least serve the drinks in glasses to enhance the atmosphere ♡ It's a place that even those living in Tokyo should visit at least once, and once you climb up, I recommend using the bar there ♡ I will definitely visit again soon ◡̈♥︎

At the top floor of the roof shibuya sky, you can enjoy the night view while sipping on drinks at a reserved sofa seat. You can choose 2 drinks and snacks (nuts) for 2200 yen per person. It's great to enjoy a beer or a drink outdoors in the middle of summer. From any seat, you can see Tokyo Tower and Skytree. Once things settle down, I think it will become a popular spot for Tokyo sightseeing. Even if you live in Tokyo, it's a place worth visiting at least once!

I ordered a champagne set and was able to relax on a sofa seat while enjoying the night view, but... if you're going to drink, it's best to do it in a different place! Even though this place is devilishly good, the view is amazing.
