I have been using this place occasionally for about 10 years. I came back after a long time, but it seems they are not serving the burnt rice lunch anymore, which is a shame! However, their other menu items are delicious, so I would like to come back again. During the pandemic, they were offering takeout for a while, but I wonder if they are still doing that now.

Every time I go back home, I visit "Weifan Yitang" with close relatives. The reason for choosing it is because the food is delicious! I usually order a la carte or lunch, but this time I went for the 4400 yen course (+1 additional dish). The volume with all-you-can-drink included at this price is fantastic! The staff are also friendly, it's a great restaurant!

For lunch, I felt like eating dim sum, so I went to Wei Fan Yi Tang at Sanjo Kai for the first time in a few years. I was prepared to go to another restaurant if there was a long line, but I was able to enter without waiting. The menu has changed a lot since I last visited, with each lunch set priced at ¥1100, and for an additional ¥220, you get xiaolongbao and dessert. My wife ordered the seafood and vegetable stir-fried noodles with sauce, while I ordered the beef noodles, of course with xiaolongbao and dessert. The soup inside the xiaolongbao wasn't piping hot, which was a bit disappointing, but it was delicious! The stir-fried noodles with sauce had a mild flavor and plenty of fresh seafood. "I really do love Chinese dishes with sauce," my wife said, even though she had also eaten a Chinese rice bowl yesterday. The beef noodles had a strong spice flavor, maybe star anise or five-spice powder? Anyway, the spices were prominent, followed by a sweet taste that spread out, and it was delicious! The meat was tender and the taste was so good it could become addictive! The almond dessert was also deliciously creamy! It may be a late realization, but there is no disappointment in any of Wei Fan's restaurants.

The shop in the arcade was particularly busy. It was a good decision to make a reservation during the Bon holiday period. Everything we ate was delicious. Especially, the xiaolongbao was excellent. You can see the kitchen from the dining area. The staff were lively and it was a wonderful shop.

First visit! Met up with a friend at the restaurant. We pre-ordered the set course, but chose the rice menu on the spot. The shrimp congee I picked was truly delicious! The dim sum was bouncy, but the soup dumplings, I was worried about getting burned...but when I finally tried them, they weren't that hot, just a bit warm, which was disappointing. The dishes kept coming one after another, so while chatting away, they piled up quickly... (sweating) I hurriedly ate while talking. The fried spring rolls with shrimp were tasty, but they were long and the chili sauce was in a flat plate, so it was hard to dip into... I would have been happier if it was in a deeper plate. We had a reservation at 12 o'clock, and they said if it was crowded, we could only stay for an hour and a half... but we ended up sitting until after 2 o'clock, so it was fine. Even the almond jelly dessert was delicious. I want to go back and eat there again!

We used the course with all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen. The appetizers were served on a large plate and were delicious. From the second plate onwards, each person was served one plate, and everyone was impressed. Everything was served hot and tasted great. This restaurant is very cost-effective. Highly recommended for company drinking parties.

It was a regular weeknight but the restaurant was full. Everything was delicious, but the soup dumplings were full of juicy meat! I tried soup dumplings with coriander for the first time and they were delicious. The five-ingredient fried rice was quite substantial even in a regular size.

I had some errands near the shop, so I looked for a place to have lunch. It was great that I could make a reservation because it was too hot to wait. I arrived around 1 pm to avoid the Saturday lunch rush, and the restaurant was almost full. The dim sum set was very filling and delicious. Everything was tasty!

For dinner, I recommend Wei Fan Yi Tang Sanjo store for Chinese appetizer platter, four types of pan-fried soup dumplings, shark fin soup, and black vinegar sweet and sour pork. I remember not being able to make reservations before, but this time we were able to book online and visited with 4 people. When we entered at 12 o'clock, the course dishes came out at an astonishing speed. They were all very delicious, but the speed at which they were served was too fast - we received dessert after only 25 minutes of sitting down (^^;;). I felt rushed to eat (due to my greedy nature) and wished I could have enjoyed it a bit more slowly. Since we had a 1.5-hour seating, if the meals were served more slowly over about an hour, it would have been a perfect score. The portion size was satisfying for 4 women, but for men, it might be a bit lacking. However, the menu is tempting for additional orders, so that could also be enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist the grilled dumplings. The Chinese congee was also gentle, and adding toppings made it even more enjoyable. In the end, I finished everything. This restaurant has always been a popular spot for late night Chinese-style izakaya dining, but this time I visited for lunch. I tried the lunch set with xiaolongbao included for 1,320 yen. I ordered the Pao Cai cold noodles, which was my first time trying cold noodles this year. It seemed like a good choice for a hot day. The service includes complimentary white rice, but the portion of the meal was filling enough without it. The sauce for the cold noodles was a bit on the salty side, so a little less would have been better. Overall, it was delicious.

I used it for a drinking party on Friday night. The course with all-you-can-drink for 120 minutes was in the 4000 yen range with a pre-booking discount, which was very reasonable! The all-you-can-drink included Suntory draft beer, so I was very satisfied! The course dishes included: assorted appetizers, xiaolongbao (plain and crab miso, each served in a steamer for one person), shrimp chili, beef crepe wrap, oil-drizzled chicken, fried rice, and almond tofu with mango sauce. Everything was delicious and quite filling! Among them, the xiaolongbao had soft skin and plenty of juicy meat, and I could understand why it is a specialty! I was very satisfied with the food and drinks, but I am deducting a star because there were a lot of mosquitoes near our table... I would like to visit again ☺︎

Visited the popular Chinese restaurant "Wei Fan Yi Tang" in Sanjo-Kai Shotengai. It is run by the renowned Chinese restaurant "Ichi no Irifune," representing Kyoto. Tried the Deep-fried Chicken with Seasoned Sauce (¥1100), also known as Youlinji. The chicken is fried with a crispy coating and topped with a flavorful sauce. It is refreshing and goes well with rice. The combination of fried food and vinegar-based sauce is surprisingly good.

Shop atmosphere: Fun and lively like in Taiwan, but the service was friendly and polite. However, the food was disappointing, like something you'd find in a casual dining chain. The soup, dessert, main dish (sweet and sour pork), and xiaolongbao were all average or below average. For the price of 1320 yen, it's not worth it. I had high hopes for the xiaolongbao, so I was especially disappointed. The portions of rice and congee were also small, so it may not be enough for men.

This time, I found them easier to eat and delicious. I realized that the tantanmen I had last time had a different type of soup with a creamier texture and came with paiko. The ones I had today were easier to finish and tasty, so I would like to come back for more. I ordered the classic xiaolongbao set with four flavors (Shanghai, shark fin, crab miso, black truffle). They were consistently delicious, and today the black truffle flavor stood out the most and was very tasty. I planned to order the shrimp mayo dish that I had last time, but unfortunately, it wasn't available today. I will definitely come back for the tantanmen noodles, and if I can come on a day when they have the shrimp mayo dish, I will definitely try that too ☻♬

I visited Kyoto after a long time♡ Since my son is going on a school trip soon, I decided to quickly visit some temples he might not see. First, I targeted Kiyomizu Shrine♪ For lunch, I had made a reservation at this popular restaurant. Wow, there was a long line in front of the store, truly a popular place! Thanks to my reservation, I was able to smoothly enter the restaurant and ordered the Dim Sum course for 2200 yen and a seafood sauce-covered ramen as a single item. The Dim Sum course was amazing♡ Dim Sum Course 2200 yen includes: - Shanghai soup dumplings - Spring rolls (shrimp paste) - Five-flavor fried mochi (fried mochi with minced meat inside, very delicious) - Shumai - Steamed shrimp dumplings - Giant pan-fried soup dumplings (quite large!) - Five-flavor yakisoba Dessert First, we were served two hot soup dumplings each in a steamer, followed by various dim sum dishes. The giant pan-fried soup dumplings were particularly good♡ Everything was delicious, but the seasoning was on the sweeter side. The seafood sauce-covered ramen that I ordered separately was also delicious! The Dim Sum course was a reasonable amount even for my elementary school son, and all of this for 2200 yen is quite amazing, right?♡ It was great~ Reservations are a must!

First, I had the xiaolongbao, which was hot but delicious. It might be better if the spoon was a little bigger. The beef noodles had a unique flavor, maybe it's Taiwanese style? I liked it, especially the chunks of tender beef in it. The congee was also tasty with a strong Chinese flavor, and I think I'd like to try the seafood congee from the lunch menu as well.

For an additional 220 yen, you can add xiaolongbao (2 pieces) and almond jelly to any set. I ordered these as well. The food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. There were instructions on how to eat the xiaolongbao on the table. The juicy filling was delicious. The braised pork rice was also tasty, and I was able to finish it without feeling too full. The quality of the food was great, especially considering the price of 1320 yen. I would definitely want to come back if I'm in the area again.
