We decided to have a New Year's party with hot pot, so we opted for something a little different - tomato sukiyaki, which is famous here. When we mentioned we were going to Mita, someone said we should go to Hareyama-san. We didn't reserve a private room, but that day they happened to have one available for us. Maybe because they heard our loud voices as a group of girls? (That's probably the reason, haha.) After the appetizers, we had tomato sukiyaki, tagliatelle, pickles, and dessert. The staff prepared the sukiyaki for us, which was very helpful, but it made it a bit hard to have deep conversations! The meat was quite fatty, so even three slices per person was more than enough. The acidity of the tomatoes, the umami of the beef, and the sweet-salty sauce surprisingly went really well together! Delicious! The tagliatelle was cooked in a rich sauce, then mixed with red wine and tomato sauce, and topped with grated cheese. It had a lovely aroma and was delicious. Lastly, we finished with a refreshing agar jelly dessert with red bean paste and strawberries. It was a delightful meal. (2013.01)

I felt like having sukiyaki in the summer, so I came here. The tomato sukiyaki is refreshing and easy to eat even in the hot summer. I always feel like the access is a bit tricky, but I keep coming back regularly. It's definitely a reputable restaurant. I enjoyed the delicious meal.

Italian-style sukiyaki is very stylish! It's light and you can eat the meat heartily. The cocktail using tomatoes was also delicious! They also offer freshly made pasta for the finale, which is so addictive that I want to go back again!

A friend recommended this place to me, saying it was delicious, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the tomato sukiyaki course. The meal started with delicate appetizers, followed by a variety of dishes. The sukiyaki itself was prepared by the staff, and they served it to us already cooked. I was surprised at how well tomatoes go with sukiyaki - it added a delicious sweetness to the dish. While I usually enjoy udon as the finishing dish for sukiyaki, this time they served tomato pasta, which was a unique twist. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable experience. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a special treat.

I visited the restaurant because I was interested in being able to eat tomato sukiyaki with good cost performance for lunch, and I was able to make a reservation the day before. Each serving is provided for one person and can be enjoyed while still piping hot. They also provided eggs as onsen tamago for pregnant women, and the customer service was very good, guiding us to the elevator, for example.

I splurged on a tomato sukiyaki hot pot for 3000 yen to celebrate with my colleagues. It was piping hot and surprisingly refreshing despite the hot weather outside. The tomato base gave it a light and delicious flavor, with a hint of basil. You can have unlimited rice refills, but I decided to pass. The simple and tasty pudding for dessert was a nice touch. The photos are in the order they were served.

I used it for my birthday dinner. Personally, I love tomatoes and sukiyaki, so I was very satisfied with the course meal that had my favorite foods. I thought I would make it myself, but I was served in three parts, and the hospitality was wonderful. The taste was delicious from the appetizer to the main dish, pasta, and dessert. I will come back again.

The tomato sukiyaki, which has won a Michelin one-star rating for three consecutive years, is the signature dish. The combination of tomato and sukiyaki is excellent, and the taste is outstanding. I recommend making a reservation for the 8,250 yen tomato sukiyaki course without any worries. It goes well with sake, so I recommend going with someone who enjoys alcohol! It can also be used for business meetings.

Three of us, all women, went to this restaurant and found the quiet atmosphere very pleasant for easy conversation. The tomato sukiyaki alone was enough to fill us up with plenty of delicious meat provided. I was very satisfied, but one of the women in our group was already full after just the course of sashimi and appetizers. I think it's a good place to enjoy a different kind of sukiyaki with tomatoes if you're a fan of them.

I ordered the venison and tomato sukiyaki set. They warned me that the tomatoes were hot, and indeed they were, but delicious. The venison was very tender and healthy, and despite being sukiyaki, it didn't make me feel heavy. I left a little rice and finished with tamago kake gohan.

I knew of actress Reiko Dan from a TV show in the past, where they mentioned her favorite spot. This time, I visited to celebrate my birthday and tried the tomato sukiyaki course for the first time. It was filled with plenty of tomatoes and onions (even more than the meat!). The appetizer was delicious and beautifully presented, and the sukiyaki was perfect for a healthy meal for women. The tomato pasta at the end was also very tasty. The service was excellent, and I had a satisfying birthday celebration!

A rare restaurant where you can enjoy sukiyaki with a tomato flavor. I entertained foreign guests. The sweetness tempered by the tomato is pleasant. The course menu is worth the price in terms of taste. It would be perfect if the staff's hospitality is good. Please provide professional service that matches the price.

To celebrate the completion of a slightly major project, I went out for sukiyaki with my work colleagues at a Michelin-starred restaurant called "Mita Basara." I had the tomato sukiyaki kaiseki course, which included appetizers, sashimi, soup, and more, all of which were delicious. The main course, the tomato sukiyaki, was served with beef and tomatoes together on the same plate. The dish was unique and flavorful, and the accompanying taliatelle was rich and tasty. The restaurant also offered a selection of special sake to pair with the meal. Overall, I would recommend "Mita Basara" for a special occasion or a quiet, enjoyable meal with colleagues who appreciate sukiyaki. I look forward to revisiting the restaurant with friends who also love sukiyaki in the future.

Tomato sukiyaki is famous at this restaurant, which has won a Michelin one-star rating for three consecutive years. The hot tomatoes are sweet and refreshing when eaten with meat! (There is one whole tomato under the meat). It goes well with the dipping sauce and the taste was delicious and unique.

The beef teriyaki bowl priced at 2,000 yen includes appetizers, teriyaki bowl (sukiyaki flavor), onsen egg, pickles, soup, and dessert. The cost-performance ratio is excellent. The beef is lean with a good amount of red meat, making it suitable for those with sensitive stomachs. The beef flavor is rich and unmistakable.

Mita Taberogu-san, why is there no category for top shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurants? It is very difficult to find good restaurants, and it makes it hard to explore new places. Despite this, I made a reservation at this highly rated place. They mainly promote tomato sukiyaki, but I reserved for lettuce shabu-shabu because I wanted something refreshing that day. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the scent of sukiyaki filled the air... It seemed like everyone was having sukiyaki. The restaurant had a nostalgic atmosphere and provided full attention, suitable for entertaining guests. The only downside was that the air circulation in the basement was not very good. Despite my strong desire to have tomato sukiyaki, I ended up enjoying the delicious lettuce shabu-shabu made with high-quality meat. Still, I couldn't let go of my craving, so I ended up having tomato sukiyaki at home two days later. Thank you for the wonderful meal ☺︎

The restaurant is famous for its tomato sukiyaki. The taste and atmosphere are elegant, making it a great place for entertaining guests. The Taliatelle at the end was a unique style that you can't find elsewhere. The staff carefully prepare each dish. The atmosphere is quiet and calming, and the service is excellent.

As a tomato lover, I couldn't help but be drawn to the tomato sukiyaki. However, tastes may vary. The slight acidity makes it feel lighter than regular sukiyaki, but the combination of meat and tomato is just fantastic. I thought it would be even more delicious with a more Italian-inspired seasoning. The appetizers, soup, and sashimi leading up to the sukiyaki were all tasty and well-balanced. The restaurant has multiple private rooms with interesting decor, making it a great choice for entertaining clients!

I visited in early February. I was looking forward to trying the "Tomato Sukiyaki" as it was my first time, and the acidity of the tomatoes complemented the flavor well. The kaiseki course was delicious as well. Thank you very much!

I visited during lunchtime. It was my first time trying tomato sukiyaki. I'm not a fan of sukiyaki in general, but the sukiyaki here was delicious. The acidity of the tomato balanced out the oiliness of the meat, making it light and easy to eat. It had a hint of garlic and a Western twist. I would love to eat it again. Thank you for the meal!

I had the Tomato Sukiyaki Zen for lunch. Oh my god!!!! Shabu shabu!! Shabu shabu!!!! Oh my goodness!! The first small dish was Yuzu tofu. The refreshing scent of yuzu and the smooth texture of the tofu just melt in your mouth. Genius. (cries). The set meal is served individually in a pot, which is really convenient, but oh my god!!!! The tomatoes are hot, so be careful, they said, and I thought, oh right, as I cooked the meat and tomatoes in the egg. Delicious!!!! The meat is so tender, and the gentle acidity of the tomatoes balances the sweetness of the meat and sukiyaki perfectly, isn't it amazing?? It's delicious!! Personally, I was happy to find big pieces of wheat gluten in it. The miso soup with red miso and the pickles were also delicious and I wanted to keep eating them. For dessert, I chose between black honey agar and pudding, and I had the black honey agar. It was much softer and more jelly-like than the agar I know, my brain almost thought, wait, did I actually order jelly?? What is this, it's so delicious!!! I actually joked with my boss that I wanted to eat here, and he easily let me. It was really delicious... It was so delicious...
