[Restaurant Name] Sushi Yoshikawa Azabujuban [Nearest Station] 7-minute walk from Azabujuban Station [Dinner Budget] 16,500 yen Visited in October 2022 [About the Restaurant] I had the opportunity to visit Sushi Yoshikawa in Azabujuban, which has become a hot topic on social media. The restaurant is brightly lit with a white wooden counter that can seat about 10 people. The elegant Japanese atmosphere makes it suitable for a date night. Customers enter at designated times, and the sushi chefs serve the courses all at once. Watching them prepare the sushi in front of you feels like a performance, almost like a movie or theater. [Food and Drinks] - Chef's Omakase Sushi Course with All-You-Can-Drink option for 16,500 yen - Goma Tofu: Soft and chewy sesame tofu with a nice pairing with wasabi - Hokkaido Tuna Chutoro Sashimi: Luxurious tuna sashimi - Scallop Sashimi: Glossy scallop with a noticeable charcoal salt flavor and a hint of sudachi citrus - Foie Gras: Low-temperature cooked foie gras with a moist texture and a hint of Japanese broth - Mackerel and Rice with Soup: Crispy mackerel with flavorful rice and soup - Sushi: Various sushi starting from Kanpachi, Sawara, Toro Taku, Madai, Shrimp, and Otoro - Specialty Dish: Uni Tempura with Nori - Toro and Egg Yolk Roll: Toro, egg yolk, and uni sushi roll - Eel Dog: Fluffy grilled eel with crispy seaweed - Mozuku Seaweed in Vinegar: Refreshing seaweed from Niigata - Seafood Bowl: Tuna, sea bream, salmon, salmon roe, and kampyo seafood bowl - Mini Dessert: Cocoa mini dessert The drink menu includes beer, wine, shochu, Japanese cocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails, and healthy options like Moringa tea. The friendly service from the sushi chefs, the cozy atmosphere, and the high cost performance make it perfect for a date night. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

The manager is kind and willing to adjust the size of the sushi rice for a friendly woman. The dashi of the cutlassfish and the grilled mixed rice were enjoyed. The ginger ale was dry, but personally, I liked the torotaku. The specialty dishes are the eel dog and the Dragon Ball roll. The red miso soup is also delicious. The dessert is tasty and visually unique. Different sauces are used at each store, but I would like to try the version without any sauce. The torotaku was so delicious that I ended up ordering another one. I went to a sushi restaurant for the first time and I am quite satisfied.

I found out about "Honmaki Sushi" through ELLE gourmet. All the dishes were delicious, and the chefs were friendly and easy to talk to. It was a very enjoyable time. The quality of the food for the price was amazing. I am completely satisfied!

It had been a while since I visited Mabu Juhachi, but the chef's traditional skills were still intact and the food was delicious! The Dragon Ball roll was adjusted to remove the sea urchin, which I don't like, and they remembered my dislikes and accommodated them perfectly. The eel dog was crispy and one of my favorite dishes. I'll ask for extra shallots next time!

Members-only, by reservation only. Two time slots: 18:00 and 20:30. Closed on Mondays at 20:30. Reservation made for 4 people. Entered through a hidden door into a private room. The head chef was Mr. Yamashita! With all-you-can-drink, we could choose our preferred sake. The friendly head chef shared a lot of information with us! We were able to pay separately with credit cards. There wasn't one standout dish that was delicious, but overall everything was tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the chef, and the staff were all great, and I would recommend this place. There were four of us and three of us got a little lost finding the place, so just be aware of that. The photo is of the delicious hand-rolled sushi we had that day.

I think this restaurant has a fair pricing considering the quality and volume of their dishes. Their specialty seems to be a Dragon Ball roll with tuna, sea urchin, and egg yolk. One thing to note is that when ordering ikura (salmon roe), they served masuko (trout roe) instead.

I had a great time at a dinner with my mentor, the chef was very friendly and it was a lot of fun. The sushi roll we had, called the Dragon Ball Roll, uses 7 egg yolks and is popular among foreign guests. It was delicious, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the customers and staff.

- 10,000 yen course - A substantial amount of sushi, although not counted, was very satisfying - Said to be the most famous restaurant in the Chinatown area, many customers come with big cameras - The eel served before and after the famous Dragon Roll was exquisite

I often see Sushi Yoshikawa-san on SNS♫ It's a shop where you can enjoy sushi filled with dreams (●´ω`●). Luckily, I was able to make a reservation and visit at 20:30. The counter has about 13 seats, but it feels spacious due to its depth. The chef casually talked to us as soon as we sat down, which was a nice icebreaker for me, feeling a bit nervous in the Azabu-Juban area. Both my partner and I love alcohol! We started with a beautiful foamy Premium Malt's beer and Chita Premium Highball for a toast \(^o^)/ The course started with sashimi (appetizers). The first dish was the medium fatty tuna (from Hokkaido), which was a great start. The presentation and taste of each dish were exquisite. I couldn't resist switching to sake. Even though there were few brands listed on the menu, if you tell the staff your preferred taste, they will bring out a seasonal sake that suits your preference. First, a dry sake that goes well with sushi. The "Ugoku no Tsuki Juusan Special Junmai" was great with a rice flavor and a refreshing aftertaste. Now, let's heat things up with some appetizers (*゚∀゚)! The foie gras was cooked low and slow for 45 minutes, served with finely chopped scallions and a sweet sauce. It was a unique dish that you can only taste here. Next was the salt-grilled autumn mackerel with mushroom and pumpkin mixed rice. The crispy mackerel skin mixed with rice was delicious, especially when paired with the bonito broth. Now onto the nigiri (hand-pressed sushi). They asked for our preferred size of sushi rice. The first was the amberjack (from Ishikawa), followed by a combination of crab miso and sea urchin. The sea urchin and crab miso were surprisingly harmonious. The next was the lean tuna and botan shrimp with caviar. The botan shrimp and caviar were both luxurious, but the combination was surprisingly fresh. The fatty tuna with shallot and green onion oil was a favorite of my partner. The tuna's richness was balanced out by the shallot, creating a unique flavor. We also tried a special limited dish, the needlefish and carrot tempura. It was handed directly to us by the staff and had a generous portion. The fish and vegetables were fried at a high temperature, creating a crispy texture. This was not the end yet. Finally, we got the toro and egg yolk roll (Dragon Ball roll). It was a voluminous dish that exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed the eel dock, another specialty of the restaurant. The eel wrapped around the rice instead of the other way around, and the crispy eel tempura was irresistible. We finished everything in no time, even though we were full. As a palate cleanser, we had the rock seaweed from Niigata.

The talk of the town, "Dragon Ball Maki," is a sushi roll that includes seven egg yolks and is said to grant wishes when eaten. I visited Sushi Yoshikawa in Azabu-Juban, located in Ebisu, to find a place where I could try it. The restaurant is hidden in a building on the first floor, not far from Azabu-Juban Station. The interior is elegant, with only a counter for seating, and there is also a private counter available for reservation. The menu consists of the "Chef's Recommended Course" for 10,000 yen, with two time slots available. The course included various dishes such as sashimi, grilled saury with rice, and a selection of nigiri sushi with unique toppings. Finally, the highlight was the Dragon Ball Maki, which was a spectacular roll with egg yolks, fatty tuna, and sea urchin. The creativity and quality of the food, combined with the excellent service and reasonable prices, made the dining experience truly memorable. It is recommended to visit before it becomes too popular to get a reservation.

I went to a place where you can eat Dragon Ball-themed sushi. The sushi had a whole egg yolk in it, just like a Dragon Ball. I watched the chefs make it up close, and their skills were truly impressive. I think if I tried to make it myself, I would end up smashing the yolk and ruining everything. The head chef was friendly and easy to talk to, and we had a good conversation. The sushi itself was delicious, of course. It was also very filling, and the prices were reasonable. I definitely want to go back again.

I went to eat sushi at a place called "Shishi" in Azabujuban. It's a hidden gem that requires full reservation and operates in two sessions at 6 pm and 8:30 pm. The counter was fully occupied, and even the private rooms were in use. The popularity of this place is not only due to the delicious sushi but also the surprisingly good value for money considering its location in Azabujuban. The young chef in his 30s presented us with a specialty course that left us amazed at the end with its price. We started with fatty tuna, followed by a variety of other dishes like flounder with scallions, smoked mackerel with shiso and cream cheese, and grilled autumn mackerel with mushroom rice. The sushi course included items like scallops, scallop with charcoal salt, natural yellowtail, red sea bream with sesame sauce, and more. The chef also served us unique dishes like sea urchin with pickled radish, prawn with caviar, and eel dog with crispy skin. The meal ended with a delicious dessert of sweet potato mousse. The entire course, including all-you-can-drink options, cost only 15,000 yen (excluding tax), making it a fantastic deal for the quality and quantity of food we received.

I visited Sushi Yoshikawa in Ebisu before, and it was very delicious with reasonable prices. Now that they have opened in Azabu Juban, I decided to go there. It's located next to exit 7 of Azabu Juban station, so you won't get wet even if it's raining. I walked there from Roppongi, where the illuminations were beautiful. The omakase course by the head chef costs 10,000 yen, with an option for all-you-can-drink for 15,000 yen. It was a surprise! There are two sessions, one at 6:00 PM and the other at 8:30 PM, which helps keep the prices down. Starting from the chef's selection of ingredients, we enjoyed a beautiful presentation and a refreshing beer toast. The medium fatty tuna with fresh wasabi was amazing. The seared mackerel with green onion and yuzu peel was a delight. The smoked horse mackerel with cream cheese and shiso was a unique combination. We also had salt-grilled saury with mushrooms and pumpkin. The low-temperature cooked ankimo was delicious. The scallop from Aomori, grilled amberjack from Hokkaido, marinated red tuna with yuzu, and sesame-marinated sea bream were all exceptional. The botan shrimp with caviar on fatty tuna was a luxurious treat. The swordfish and carrot tempura was crispy and flavorful. We ended with Hokkaido sea urchin. The famous "Dragon Ball" roll with sea urchin was a must-try. The eel sandwich and seaweed rice bowl with salmon, tuna, sea bream, and salmon roe were refreshing. The dessert was a sweet potato mousse. The restaurant also has private rooms for up to 10 people. The dedicated chef's attention to detail and the all-you-can-drink option made it a great dining experience. I can't wait to go back with my family soon. I heard that the popular sushi restaurant "Sushi Yoshikawa" has opened its second branch in Azabu-Juban, so I visited as a reward dinner. It's just a few minutes' walk from Azabu-Juban Station, right near the Shinichi intersection, on the 1st floor of the F Plaza Building. There are 13 counter seats and private rooms that can accommodate up to 10 people. This time, I requested the exclusive all-inclusive "Chef's Omakase Course" for members. - Sesame Tofu - Toro of fresh bluefin tuna - Ishigaki clam - Katsuo (bonito) with basil pesto and tomato sauce - Grilled dish with autumn mackerel, chestnut, and mushrooms - Sushi: Konoshiro (gizzard shad) and scallop - Scallop with bamboo charcoal salt and sudachi citrus - Tuna with red wine-marinated cream cheese - Sea bream with sesame marinade - Toro hand roll - Botan shrimp - Otoro with shallots - Tempura with cutlassfish, carrot, and sea urchin - Specialty "Toro and Egg Yolk Roll" with soy-marinated egg yolk, toro, and sea urchin - Eel Dog with eel and vinegar rice sandwich - Mozuku seaweed vinegar - Bara Chirashi with tuna, sea bream, salmon, and salmon roe - Dessert: Handmade dessert made by the chef The review highlights the various dishes served, the freshness of the ingredients, and the unique creations like the "Toro and Egg Yolk Roll" and the "Eel Dog." The reviewer praises the flavors, textures, and presentation of each dish, expressing satisfaction with the dining experience at the restaurant.

Tonight, I visited a hidden sushi restaurant in Azabu-Juban called "Sushi Yoshikawa Azabu-Juban" Ebisu branch. I had been to the Ebisu branch before, and it is located in a somewhat hard-to-find location, so please be careful. The restaurant has a counter and private rooms for regular customers (for 4 people or more), and the chef will prepare the sushi directly in front of you in the private rooms. The course menu is only "Chef's Recommended Course" (priced at 10,000 yen). The chef will ask if you have any dislikes at the beginning, so it might be good to inform them in advance. Here are some of the dishes I enjoyed: - Homemade sesame tofu: Rich sesame tofu with a chewy texture. - Medium fatty tuna: Firm texture with a strong soy sauce flavor. - Bonito tataki: Thick and juicy bonito with a crispy skin, served with red tomato sauce and green basil pesto sauce. - Ishigaki scallop: Sweet and crunchy scallop. - Grilled mackerel: Fatty mackerel with a crispy skin served on chestnut and mushroom rice. - Scallop: Thick and juicy scallop with salt and vinegar. - Spanish mackerel: Soft texture with crispy skin and salt. - Sea bream with sesame sauce: Light sea bream with a strong sesame sauce. - Fatty tuna and scallion roll: Fatty tuna with crispy seaweed and scallions. - Marinated tuna: Classic marinated tuna. - Botan shrimp: A flavorful shrimp with a firm texture. - Fatty tuna: Fatty tuna with shallot-based sauce. - Fatty tuna and egg yolk roll: A roll with a giant egg yolk, fatty tuna, and sea urchin. - Beltfish tempura: Tempura beltfish with carrots and sea urchin. - Eel dog: Crispy eel with a hot and savory flavor. - Mozuku seaweed: Refreshing seaweed dish. - Bara chirashi: A delicious bowl of assorted sashimi. - Apple jelly: Homemade jelly as a dessert. The restaurant allows photography and has a friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy delicious sushi without any pressure. If you're looking for a change from traditional Edomae sushi, "Sushi Yoshikawa" is definitely a great choice.

I have visited the Tokyo Azabu-Juban gourmet Ebisu store several times, but this was my first time at the Azabu-Juban store! They have two time slots, 18:00 and 20:30, with the chef's recommended course priced at 10,000 yen (excluding tax) plus a 5,000 yen (excluding tax) all-you-can-drink option. The reason I ordered this is because their drink menu includes Champagne and the selection is quite extensive, making it a must-try for those who enjoy drinking. Some of the dishes included in the course are sesame tofu, tapioca with Chiba flour, Aomori bluefin tuna, salted scallops, liver salt mackerel, fish soup cooked with fish, Kanpachi sashimi, seared skin mackerel, fatty tuna marinated in sesame, carabinero prawn, conger eel, swordfish tempura, grapefruit, eel dog, and the famous fatty tuna and egg yolk roll. The latter part of the course is filled with impressive sushi selections, with the fatty tuna and egg yolk roll being a standout dish. The chef is friendly and creates a relaxed atmosphere, making the dining experience enjoyable. Considering the quality and quantity of food offered at this price in the Roppongi and Azabu-Juban area, I believe it is difficult to find a better deal. Reservations are a must!

I visited Sushi Yoshikawa Azabujuban, which is a modern and stylish restaurant located near exit 7 of Azabujuban station. The main counter seats and private counter rooms for 4 to 10 people are available. I opted for the Chef's Omakase Course (¥10,000), which can be upgraded to include all-you-can-drink for ¥15,000 for repeat customers. The cost performance of the course is impressive. The meal started with sesame tofu made with black sesame and tapioca, followed by delicious fatty tuna and Ishigaki clam sashimi. Each dish was paired with a different drink, enhancing the dining experience. The highlights included grilled autumn mackerel with chestnut and mushroom rice, and a unique eel sushi roll with egg yolk. The meal ended with a delightful eel sandwich and crunchy rock seaweed salad. The overall experience was delightful and satisfying.

Today's visit was to Sushi Yoshikawa Azabujuban. Sushi Yoshikawa Azabujuban is a sushi restaurant located in Azabujuban, Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is just a 1-minute walk from Azabujuban Station, and it is the second branch with the first one located in Ebisu. The restaurant offers a high-quality dining experience with carefully selected ingredients, and the prices are reasonable. I decided to visit because they offer a sushi full course with all-you-can-drink for 15,000 yen. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and the course began. The Tapioca Sesame Tofu was smooth with a chewy texture and a nice sesame flavor. The medium fatty tuna was delicious and the Ishigaki clam was tender and excellent. The fried bonito with tomato and Genovese sauce was a great combination. The grilled mackerel with mushrooms and chestnut rice was flavorful and reminded me of autumn. The gizzard shad with kelp had a nice acidity and sweetness, while the scallop with bamboo charcoal salt was soft and wonderful. The sesame marinated sea bream had a great aroma, and the sea urchin with spring onion and pickled daikon had a good texture. The marinated tuna with red wine and cream cheese was unique and tasty. The firm-textured prawn and the eel roll with big tuna were both delicious. The rolled omelette with egg yolk, sea urchin, and tuna was a luxurious dish with a rich flavor. The swordfish tempura with carrot, sea urchin, and grapefruit was a delightful end to the meal. Overall, the dining experience was very satisfying with delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price. The course menu was inspiring, and this restaurant is a great choice for enjoying sushi casually. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

At a dinner party with friends. The visual and sauce ideas cover the difference between a high-end restaurant and others, creating an image of sophistication. The standout idea, the rolled dish, had a visually appealing presentation that raised expectations. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the famous eel hot dog.

I discovered this restaurant online and decided to visit because I wanted to try their Dragon Ball sushi rolls. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is casual and bright. It is conveniently located near Azabu-Juban Station. They offer a course menu for 11,000 yen, which includes a variety of sushi and other dishes, making it a great option for enjoying with drinks. The tuna sushi was delicious and set a great tone for the meal. The eel had a crispy texture and was excellent. They also had unique items like red wine-marinated dishes and Dragon Ball sushi rolls. The meal was filling and enjoyable, with a good balance of creativity. Additionally, they offer a 5,000 yen all-you-can-drink option with over 10 types of rare sake. I was able to enjoy sushi and drinks to my heart's content without worrying about my wallet. The food was not only trendy but also delicious, and I left completely satisfied. I would love to visit again.
