Located just a 2-minute walk from Roppongi Station, "Sakanomichi" is the perfect spot for a girls' night out for yakiniku. As the name suggests, the restaurant is located in the basement of a building on the way down the slope from Roppongi Station. Since it is directly operated by a meat wholesaler, you can enjoy professionally selected meats at a reasonable price. The Black Wagyu Special Course with all-you-can-drink option (7200 yen) includes: kimchi and small fish appetizers, assorted namul salad, Chorogi salad, top tongue salt, Black Wagyu kalbi, bone-in kalbi, harami, top hormone, gala, butter-grilled scallops, and your choice of rice dishes like kuppas and bibimbap. For dessert, you can choose between vanilla ice cream or almond jelly. The premium all-you-can-drink menu includes Premium Malt, sours, sake, glass wine, fruit liquor, Three Whiskies, soft drinks, and more. Other recommended menu items include the vegetable platter (780 yen), pork belly (880 yen), and marbled kalbi (1100 yen). Despite being in the basement, the restaurant effectively utilizes the space, so there is no sense of confinement. The seating areas are separated by curtains, allowing you to enjoy your meal without worrying about the neighboring tables. I dropped by without a reservation at night. The meat was delicious, but the hormone dishes were a bit underwhelming for the price. The service from the staff was lacking, as we were left waiting at our table for a while before being given menus. Overall, the service was subpar and the food was served slowly. I was surprised to find a restaurant like this in Roppongi.

I was very relieved to find a yakiniku restaurant in the heart of Roppongi that stays open late at night. This was my second time visiting. The meat was consistently delicious, and I was satisfied with the great value and taste that you wouldn't expect in Roppongi. The fact that they also have semi-private rooms was a big plus.

It was 3 am in Roppongi after spending almost 8 hours at a burlesque show (laughs). Feeling hungry, I decided to stop by "Sakanomichi" near Roppongi Crossing and the bottom of Imo-zaka. I didn't plan on staying long, but ended up ordering the premium 4 kinds of meat platter, Maruchan, top-grade mino sashimi, half-size tegutan soup, rice (medium), and of course, a Kirin Lager medium bottle. I started the night with the Lager bottle (laughs). The premium 4 kinds of meat platter arrived first, including premium tongue, zabuton, thick-sliced top loin, and premium kalbi. I started with the tongue as a snack. Then the top-grade mino sashimi and Maruchan were served! These were also enjoyed with the alcohol. When the rice and tegutan soup arrived, I ordered another beer and enjoyed my meal. Overall, the meat was delicious, but the thick-sliced top loin was not as great. The tegutan soup had good flavor but could use a bit more richness. Overall, I am grateful for being able to eat this much meat in the middle of the night. I will definitely come back for a late-night meal after burlesque shows. Thank you for the meal!

Visited around 19:30 ☺︎ on a weekday, there were still some empty seats but after 20:00 it got quite crowded and almost full. ♥ Ike Ike Plan / 4,680 yen (tax included) I mentioned it was a birthday celebration that day, and although there was no plate or anything, they said it was okay to bring in our own cake. Thank you. However, it felt awkward when they asked right after mentioning the birthday, "Is the Ike Ike Plan for 4,680 yen okay?" Lack of tact there... This alone significantly lowered my impression... The meat and alcohol were served quickly but it took time to cook. The hormone dishes started cooking with increased heat, but it really takes time to cook. The sauce is not tasty, especially the lemon. My friends also said they didn't like it... The harami and kalbi were tender. The seasoning is quite sweet. The tongue was thinly sliced and hmm... It's a buffet so, well, the grilled squid was the best ( ˆpˆ ) lol Quite tender and worth ordering ♡ Sausages and hormone dishes were also good. I only had highballs for drinks, not too strong which was good. Not great but if you think of it as a noisy buffet-style yakiniku, well, yeah, it's alright!

The all-you-can-eat beef tongue with all-you-can-drink option for 4980 yen is a good deal considering the location. However, the taste is average for the price. The beef tongue is frozen and becomes chewy when grilled with a lot of salt, making it too salty. The other meats are also heavily seasoned, so they burn quickly. This is what you get with all-you-can-eat. But it's great for having a fun time with colleagues and eating to your heart's content without holding back. The staff changes the grill frequently, so the service is good.

Roppongi has very few yakiniku restaurants open late on Sunday nights! After struggling to find a place that wasn't fully booked, we managed to secure a reservation at "Sakanomichi." The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station, with a sign reading "闇" (darkness) at the entrance. The atmosphere inside is lively and casual. We quickly placed our order and enjoyed our meal. Here's what we ordered: - White intestine sashimi 500 yen - Sakura yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) 930 yen - Namul assortment 520 yen - Chorogi salad 780 yen - Premium tongue 3,150 yen - Premium harami (skirt steak) 1,880 yen - Beef tripe 840 yen - Chicken thigh 520 yen - Upper mino (tripe) 930 yen - Yukhoejang soup 870 yen Overall, the tongue was the standout dish, while the harami was a bit disappointing. The meat overall was a bit dry, but considering the prices, it was decent. The hospitality was typical of a casual izakaya. With two drinks each, the bill came to around 7,000 yen per person, which is relatively affordable for Roppongi. Thank you for the meal!

A yakiniku restaurant in Roppongi called Imoyu. Visited with gym buddies for a tiredness party. Ordered the Hanamaru plan for 4980 yen, which includes all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. All-you-can-eat includes 35 items of yakiniku, side dishes, and even beef tongue. There is a wide variety of drinks available for all-you-can-drink. Started with a platter of meat, salad, and kimchi, then moved on to all-you-can-eat. The beef tongue is thinly sliced and frozen, so grill it up! Tried items like grilled squid and thick-cut bacon that we don't usually order. The hungry group devoured rice, negi rice, and hamburger cheese curry. It's great for when you want to eat and drink heartily.

On a regular lunchtime, I revisited a restaurant that had been closed due to the COVID-19 self-restraint for a long time. There were two customers inside, perhaps still affected by the coronavirus? I ordered the lunch menu which was a combination of beef kalbi, beef harami, and pork kalbi for 920 yen. Rice was free for seconds, and there was a free drink bar included, making it a great deal. The meat, especially the beef kalbi and beef harami, was of high quality comparable to a yakiniku chain, while the pork kalbi had minimal fat. The numerous autographs of celebrities displayed in the restaurant also spoke of the deliciousness. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

All-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink for 4980 yen (^-^) and the quality of the meat exceeded expectations! The beef tongue is delicious (*'▽'*), the skirt steak is tasty (o^^o), and the seafood is also delicious (*^^*). Everything is so tasty (*´꒳`*). The cost performance is amazing, I want to go back to this restaurant again (╹◡╹)

A yakiniku restaurant that is open until late at night. You can also smoke cigarettes! They have a wide variety of hormone dishes, which is irresistible for hormone lovers!! On a weekday after 9 pm, I revisited a restaurant that normally operates with dine-in service only in a neighborhood where takeout is the norm. I was able to be seated without waiting as the turnover seemed good. I was surprised that there was no temperature check or alcohol disinfection at the entrance, but the tables were spaced out generously. The restaurant is a yakiniku place with individual charcoal grills, so the ventilation was good. About 80% of the tables were occupied. I ordered a bottle of beer for 650 yen, hormone for 840 yen, medium rare kalbi for 1,050 yen, salted beef tongue for 1,250 yen, namul for 520 yen, two appetizers for 340 yen each, a glass of makgeolli for 490 yen, two lemon sours for 490 yen each, bibimbap for 840 yen, negi rice for 520 yen, harami for 980 yen, tsurami for 840 yen, and a salty plum sour for 490 yen. The shredded cabbage appetizer was quite good with a salty dressing that was a nice palate cleanser and good with drinks. The quality of the meat was decent as always, and I think the all-you-can-eat option is a good deal. There was no all-you-can-eat menu, probably due to the time of day or the state of emergency, but ordering individual items still offered good value. I appreciated that the restroom was separate for men and women. Although not completely empty, the restaurant was accommodating to solo diners with a couple of single seats available, which I found to be very convenient.

Last Saturday's lunch was at "Sakanomichi" in Roppongi (photo 1). I had seen online that it is a popular restaurant where celebrities also visit, and that their lunch menu is quite reasonable, so I decided to go. It was my first visit this time. When I entered the restaurant on the basement floor around 11:30, there were autographs of famous people on the right side (photo 2). There were only about 2-3 groups of customers already there, so it was not crowded. Perhaps because it was a Saturday. I was guided to a table for 4 people. I chose the "daily lunch special (¥920)" displayed right outside the entrance, which included free refills of rice and a drink bar (photo 3). After ordering, I went to get drinks and when I returned to my seat, the food was served promptly (within 1-2 minutes) (photo 4). To my surprise, it came with bean sprout namul, kimchi, wakame soup, and even dessert! With free rice refills and a drink bar, I think it's a great deal. You can grill the meat to your liking, relax, and enjoy the meal. I had seconds of rice and drinks. PayPay was not accepted for payment, but credit cards were. It's a pretty good restaurant. Highly recommended. That's all.

The restaurant is located underground, down the steep stairs next to the convenience store near Roppongi Crossing. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and has a nice ambiance. There are many autographed boards from celebrities displayed inside. I ordered the lunch menu, which included a three-piece assortment of pork kalbi, harami, and something else for 880 yen. Rice refills are free, and it comes with a drink bar, which is a great deal for the price. The quality of the meat is high, especially the harami and kalbi, which are very tender. However, the portions of the meat are small. For those who want to eat heartily, they may feel a bit unsatisfied. But you can always order more if needed. This is a definite repeat visit spot.

Although the only downside is that you can't drink beer, the satisfaction of grilling meat while enjoying rice is unmatched by other lunch options. There are many yakiniku restaurants that offer lunch sets, each with their own differences in taste, service, and portion size, making it enjoyable to try out different places. On this day, I visited "Yakiniku Sakanomichi". The restaurant is located on the way down Imoarai-zaka from Roppongi Crossing, making it easy to remember. I arrived for a slightly late lunch around 1 pm, and there were no other customers. The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark, but that seems to be common in yakiniku restaurants. I had already checked the menu displayed outside the entrance, which not only included yakiniku but also rice dishes like kuppas and bibimbap, as well as noodle dishes like kalbi ramen and cold noodles at reasonable prices. However, when I saw the circular grill on the table, I felt a sense of duty to grill the meat, so I ordered the daily yakiniku set. The daily set included beef kalbi, pork kalbi, and beef hormone. After ordering, I was recommended to use the drink bar, which offered a variety of juices, coffee, and tea. The yakiniku set was served promptly, including meat, rice, seaweed soup, and kimchi, with a generous serving of rice and a refillable soup. The set also came with shredded cabbage and almond jelly for a complete meal. Priced at 920 yen with the drink bar included, the lineup was impressive. I immediately started grilling the meat and enjoyed the unique time management of grilling three types of meat. The beef kalbi was lean, the pork kalbi was also lean with a hint of juiciness, and the beef hormone had a good texture with a nice amount of fat. Overall, the quality of the meat was average, but the cost-performance ratio was excellent for a lunch yakiniku. I received a cup for a take-out hot coffee after paying the bill, along with a mint candy. In conclusion, while the meat quality was average, the cost-effectiveness of the lunch yakiniku set was commendable. I would like to try other cuts of meat or noodle dishes on my next visit.

God drink bar... I had a bit of time before my next job, so I was looking for a place where I could eat quickly and leave before being exposed to the cold. I stumbled upon this yakiniku restaurant while walking around. Yakiniku restaurants usually allow you to spend some time, plus this one had a drink bar! I decided this was the place for me!! I went around 12:30 and it was not crowded at all. I didn't look at the other menus, I just went for the daily lunch special which seemed safe with beef kalbi, pork kalbi, and harami. And safe it was. I was satisfied. You can even get free rice refills, so no complaints there. The food was safe, but the drink bar was the highlight. They had the usual drinks like ginger ale, cola, and coffee, but they also had chu-hai! I couldn't drink because I still had work to do, plus my boss was with me, but I really wanted to. It was a nice and casual place.

Visited 'Sakanomichi Roppongi' which is a great deal for all-you-can-eat and drink in the heart of Roppongi, just a 3-minute walk from Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro. The 'Hana Maru Plan' for 4980 yen offers all-you-can-eat and drink. Started with beef tongue, it was decently tasty but got a bit tough even though it wasn't overcooked. Perhaps it's due to the difference in meat quality. The kalbi and harami also tend to get tough. The draft beer goes down really smoothly, a perfect match with yakiniku. And nothing beats enjoying a big bowl of rice with beer. Despite the slight issue with meat quality, overall it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast!
