◆Ordered the more expensive course out of two options around 5500 yen.◆The meat was of good quality, but it was disappointing that there was no meat served after the initial assorted plate that was automatically provided. The initial assortment was delicious. It was definitely meat that you wouldn't find at a typical all-you-can-eat BBQ place that costs around 3000 yen. The thigh meat had good flavor and was enjoyable. As a result, the slight disappointment after that couldn't be shaken off. The lean meat... was softer and better than the skirt steak (from the affordable course). The short rib... even though it was premium, it lacked the juicy, oily sensation you would expect from a high-quality cut. (It seemed to have slightly diminished compared to the assortment plate earlier... individual differences...?) The marbled meat... the ribeye was tender and juicy, and tasted great. The tenderloin... was thick, making it difficult to cook through and chew. The beef tongue... whether thick or thin, it was crispy. The jaw meat... had a crispy texture. The wagyu beef seared for 10 seconds... was quite tough and didn't melt at all, which was disappointing. I thought it would be the kind that melts in your mouth, but it turned out to be the kind that requires a lot of chewing. It didn't go well with the egg and sukiyaki sauce. The meat was generally thickly sliced, but for BBQ, maybe it's better if it's not that thick. Because while chewing, the taste of the sauce fades away, leaving you to continue chewing on the plain meat. Maybe there's an appropriate thickness after all. My partner mentioned, "The meat was so thick that even though it was all-you-can-eat, I couldn't have much..."◆All the desserts were delicious. The pudding, almond jelly, and shaved ice with mango chunks were all well-made. However, the portion size per dish was quite generous. Since it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, having such a hearty single serving might make it difficult to try other items. I think it would have been more enjoyable if the portions were a bit smaller so we could try a variety of desserts.◆Side menuKimchi... it was tasty and not too sour, unlike the kimchi at cheaper places that I don't like. Condiments... I felt that the portion of sesame oil and such was too small. When you press the dispenser, a small amount would come out in each dish, so I ended up with a lot of dishes with just a tiny bit of condiments. This might be my fault for using up sesame oil too quickly.◆The restaurantThe underground floor had a more upscale and dimly lit atmosphere compared to the popular all-you-can-eat BBQ places. The system of ordering by looking at the meat showcase resembling a butcher shop was enjoyable. However, since there was only one staff member, I think it could take quite some time to place an order when the place is busy.◆Overall assessmentI usually go to King's for the all-you-can-eat BBQ, so the quality of the meat here was definitely better, and it was nice to be able to try various cuts of meat starting from just one piece. On the other hand, for this price, there are other restaurants where you can eat much better quality meat, even if it's not all-you-can-eat, so I gave it a slightly lower rating. I don't think I'll come back, but I had a good time this time, and I'm glad I tried it out. Thank you for the meal. ◆Rating system☆☆☆☆★ Quite close to the worst.☆☆☆★★ So-so.
