As the situation with the coronavirus is calming down, Tsukiji Outer Market is regaining its liveliness. It is filled with inbound tourists enjoying food from various stalls. The "Tsukiji River First Parking Lot" was full on the 1st and 2nd floors, so I had to park on the 3rd floor for the first time. I avoided the crowded Tsukiji Nakadori and Nishi-dori streets and quickly visited the Tsukiji Uogashi Kaihoku Hashimoto and Odawara Hashimoto buildings. I bought some sashimi at Yamaji on the 1st floor of the Kaihoku Hashimoto building and got a parking ticket for 30 minutes. Then I hurried to do more shopping.

My wife works, so I drive her to work. It's a 30-minute drive, the same as taking the train. It's a total of 60 minutes round trip for me, but I don't mind because it's a little enjoyable. On the way back, we stop by Tsukiji Outer Market and buy some sashimi. The taste and freshness are great. The staff at the shop suggested different combinations and added seaweed at the end, totaling 3,030 yen. If you spend over 3,000 yen, you get a parking ticket (30 minutes for 200 yen). In the evening, we add some frozen salmon roe and have hand-rolled sushi or a bowl of rice topped with sashimi. It's easy and nice. In the afternoon, we go to a public bath, and at 4 o'clock, we watch sumo wrestling on TV.
