I visited the Japanese dining restaurant "Starry Sky" known for its beautiful night view. The restaurant is located on the 50th floor of the Nomura Building in Nishi-Shinjuku. As I entered the restaurant, I saw a stylish space with a wall lined with shochu bottles. I was seated by the window, where I could enjoy the dazzling night view of Tokyo. We started with a toast of Moet champagne. The appetizer was roast beef, which was quite luxurious. The homemade yuba tofu made with Akita Matagi soy milk had a rich flavor and sweetness, topped with plenty of ikura. The colorful vegetable cold bagna cauda was a fun surprise with smoke rising when the lid was opened. The sashimi platter included sea bream, tuna, and amberjack, served with special soy sauces from Ibaraki and Miyazaki. The rare tuna cutlet had a crispy crust and a moist rare center, served with grated wasabi and ikura. The Iwajun pork loin was cooked on a lava stone in front of us, retaining the meat's umami and juicy texture. We enjoyed it with salt, yuzu pepper, and special sauce. The meal ended with a fragrant and elegant matcha ice cream. The night view from the 50th floor of a high-rise building in Shinjuku was amazing. The surprise-filled presentation was enjoyable, making it a great place for a date or a girls' night out.

【Into the Starry Sky】- Ebi and Vegetable Tempura with Seafood Bara-Chirashi 2-tiered Bento Box for ¥1,300 at Shinjuku Nomura Building 50F Sky Restaurant Despite its location, the lunch here is surprisingly affordable! The 2-tiered Tempura and Bara-Chirashi Bento Box for ¥1,300 is quite a deal! Plus, it's in a high-class looking restaurant with a great view from the 50th floor. The location on the 50th floor provides a fantastic view. Even without a reservation, we were seated in a good spot. The dining chairs are right next to the window, offering a view of the ground far below and the surrounding low-rise buildings. It can be a bit nerve-wracking to look down. Since lunch reservations were only for courses, we didn't make one and ordered from the a la carte lunch menu. I really wanted to try this 2-tiered bento! The crispy tempura and delicious Bara-Chirashi were satisfying. The bento boxes may be small, but when you eat both, it's a satisfying portion. Considering the location, I had assumed it would be expensive, but lunch at the Sky Restaurant on the 49th and 50th floors is quite a good deal. #Nishi-ShinjukuLunch #NomuraBuilding50thFloor #IntotheStarrySky #Tempura #BaraChirashi #AmazingView #BestView #Tamahyun #PersonalGourmetMemo #FoodDiary

I ordered the course dinner and the dishes came out at the right timing, starting from the appetizer. The soup had a rich broth and a delicious oily texture. The beef sirloin steak was surprisingly tender, and the sauce was exquisite. The view from the couple's seat overlooking the night scenery makes you forget the passing time. The sunset view of Mount Fuji was also stunning. The high ceiling, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere make it an ideal place for quality time with loved ones. I highly recommend it.

I went to "Hoshizora no Naka e" for lunch after a long time. You can enjoy both the view and the food. There are many window seats for two people, so it's better to go early. It tends to get crowded during lunchtime, so I went a bit early today. It was delicious.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I came here to have lunch, specifically to try the two-tiered set with shrimp tempura and seafood chirashi. Located on the 50th floor of the Shinjuku Nomura Building, I was surprised by the price in the 1000 yen range, but when the food was served, I understood why. The portions are very cute. The rice in the tiered box is about three servings worth, a good measure for preventing overeating. The tempura consisted of two types, coated with what seemed like a thick layer of starch, making some of them quite hard. Thank you for the meal.

A fantastic restaurant with a view of Shinjuku✨ It's located on the 50th floor, so it might be tough for those afraid of heights. The interior is nice, but what really stands out is the value for the lunch set meals. The specialty is the Tempura Seafood Set Meal, but this time I went for the Unagi Tamago Bowl. The eel was plump and juicy, with a rich sauce, and the egg was sweet and fluffy. The rice was also satisfyingly included. The other set meals are also surprisingly affordable. I want to try them all! This place is perfect for a date or lunch with friends. You'll definitely impress if you take someone here! Give it a try!▶︎Menu: Unagi Tamago Bowl ¥2,000————Crowd Information————▶︎Arrived on a weekday at 12:15, had to wait for 2 people▶︎Entered at 12:20▶︎Food served at 12:30▶︎Female:Male ratio = 6‍:4‍

One of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo has become even more beloved to me this time. I have always loved the fantastic location where you can dine while enjoying the view from the 50th floor near Shinjuku Station, but this time, I had a particularly wonderful experience thanks to the staff who took care of us with great consideration. I visited during dinner time. I had requested a private room with a view from the window, and a staff member kindly said to me, "The weather is nice today, so you can enjoy the view!" As the course meal progressed, the view changed gradually from the sunset to the night view, just as the staff member had mentioned, and I was able to enjoy the scenery. While enjoying the meal, I had a satisfying conversation, saying, "Indeed, we were very lucky to have good weather today." I felt the staff's thoughtfulness even in small gestures. Despite the large number of customers, they treated us very kindly, and I am truly grateful for that. The person I went with even said, "This might become a lifelong memory." I feel that it was all thanks to the warm welcome from the staff. I know this may sound repetitive, but the food was also delicious! Especially, the lava steak is highly recommended as they flambe it right in front of you, illuminated by the night view and flames, it is truly impressive. If you are going with someone, I recommend it even more!

Today, I went to a shareholders' meeting in Shinjuku and met up with my mother at the Nomura Building on the 50th floor. We decided to have lunch at a restaurant called "Hoshizora no Naka e, Neboke, Duke" on this floor, which offers a great view even without entering the restaurant. Duke was fully booked, so we opted for lunch at "Hoshizora no Naka e" where we had been before. The entrance to the restaurant was narrow, with a long hallway leading to an expansive view on the 50th floor with glass walls on two sides. We were lucky to be seated at the counter by the window. The lunch menu had five options, and we both chose the two-tiered box lunch with shrimp and vegetable tempura and seafood bara-chirashi with miso soup for 1300 yen each. The view was amazing, and the restaurant was decorated with alcohol bottles up to the ceiling, making us imagine how beautiful it must be at night. The food was decent, with the bara-chirashi and tempura being tasty but the portion of rice was too much for us. We learned later that we could have asked for less rice. Although the view was great, the taste might be better at Neboke. We indulged in an iced coffee for an additional 300 yen to enjoy the view a little longer. I apologize for the lack of energy to write a proper review due to feeling under the weather.

The view from the couple's seat was amazing. Unfortunately, the food felt quite cheap. The dishes were small for their size, and there weren't many options. The use of green beans and the low quality of ingredients were noticeable. It's dark so it's hard to see, but the chairs and tables were visibly worn out. It's okay because it's hard to see at night. Some of the staff didn't explain the dishes, but overall they seemed to be trying their best. The night view is fantastic, so if you can overlook the shortcomings, it's a great spot to enjoy.

We enjoyed a blissful moment indulging in the dreamy night view and exquisite cuisine at a couple's seat, creating a private atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner with our partner. The night view of the starry sky at 200 meters above ground, spreading across the entire wall of the room, was so beautiful and fantastical, it felt like being in a dream. While the seats were a bit close to each other, we could overlook the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Keio Plaza Hotel. The quality of the food was outstanding, with dishes made from carefully selected ingredients that delighted our taste buds. The chef's skill and delicate seasoning harmonized perfectly, and each dish brought us a sense of awe. Particularly, the seafood dishes made with fresh seafood were exquisite, and we were impressed by the umami flavors that spread in our mouths. The variety of wines was also abundant, allowing us to choose based on compatibility with the dishes and enjoy a luxurious time. The service was excellent, and we are grateful for the warm hospitality of the staff. The attentive service and thoughtfulness created a pleasant atmosphere, allowing us to enjoy our special time with our loved ones even more. The couple's seat was the perfect place to enjoy luxurious cuisine and a dream-like night view. It is ideal for special anniversaries or dates with loved ones!

I couldn't get into the restaurant I wanted to go to because it was fully booked, so I decided to try this place instead (*´˘`*) Located on the 50th floor of the Shinjuku Nomura Building, you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Shinjuku from here! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice with high ceilings. On the day I visited, it seemed like there were many business dinner parties. The dishes we ordered happened to be mostly lit up with lights. Personally, I found it a bit off-putting to have dishes that were shining, and it was a bit disappointing to see champagne glasses with water marks. I would recommend this place more for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere rather than the food!

I made a reservation for a course at this restaurant and when I arrived, no staff came to show me to my seat. I had to go find someone to confirm my reservation. Then, when I thought they were confirming the course, they didn't have my drink reservation or the cake I had reserved until I mentioned it. The restaurant has a beautiful night view and a nice atmosphere, so I think many people make reservations here. It would be better if the restaurant had a more organized system in place.

This was my first time at Nomura Building. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku. The restaurant is on the 50th floor with a nice view, but unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy so we couldn't see much of the night view. It seems like it would be really beautiful on a clear day. We had a course meal, and everything was delicious in a safe way. The highlights were the tempura of spiny lobster and the meat. I think this restaurant is more focused on the night view and atmosphere, but considering the variety and content of the dishes, the cost performance may not be the best. We used a private room, which had a calm atmosphere and I think it would be good for a date. Thank you for the meal!

I visited at night and the night view was very beautiful. The course meals and sparkling wine were delicious, and I had a wonderful time. We had a table by the window, but one of the seats had the night view behind them, which was a bit distracting, but overall it was a lovely restaurant.

The view was amazing and we were able to relax! The scenery from above the 40th floor was the best. It was not crowded during weekday lunchtime, so it was very comfortable. Since I'm not a fan of meat, they also accommodated seafood for me, and the staff was very nice. I would love to go again.

I used it for lunch. I chose a lunch where you can enjoy two different flavors at a great price. The tempura was crispy. The seafood bowl had a variety of ingredients and was light. Since it's a high-rise building, the view is very nice. Unfortunately, I wasn't by the window though. It was a nice space, elegant and not noisy. I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

Located on the 50th floor of the Nomura Building in Nishi-Shinjuku, "Hoshizora no Naka e" offers a reasonable sky lunch. Take the high-speed elevator from the 1st to the 41st to 50th floor and zoom up to the 50th floor. Arriving at the restaurant at 13:00 on a weekday, there were 2 customers waiting ahead of us and 8 customers behind us. We waited for about 5 minutes before being seated by the window. We ordered the two-tiered seafood and vegetable tempura and seafood bara chirashi for 1300 yen. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed the view from the 50th floor. The weather was clear that day, but the view seemed hazy due to a large amount of pollen in the air. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The tempura included 2 shrimp, pumpkin, green pepper, sweet potato, shiso leaf, and seaweed, all crispy and delicious. The tempura sauce on the rice was just enough to enjoy the rice. The seafood bara chirashi had tuna, salmon, tamagoyaki, cucumber, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds, with the sesame seeds and cucumber adding a nice touch. Overall, it was a delicious and affordable sky lunch with a view of the Nishi-Shinjuku skyline. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere was very nice, and the view from the 50th floor was also great. The food was delicious, but I thought the horse sashimi was a bit small for the price. Also, the tempura had too much batter, which was a little disappointing. The service was excellent, and I would like to visit again.
