The nearest station is Hamamatsucho, but the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay restaurant is a bit far. The entrance is on the right side after going up to the 3rd floor by the elevator in front of the main entrance. The window seats overlook the night view of Tokyo Bay, making it the best location! The variety of dishes is not extensive, but the quality of the taste is excellent. I have been to many hotel buffets in the 23 wards, but in terms of taste, I think it ranks in the top 3. This time, they had a fair featuring Hokkaido and Halloween. The chef's live kitchen offers salad in cup-shaking style, so it may not be suitable for those who want to eat a lot of vegetables. However, it looks good and there is no mess when customers serve themselves, so it's not a bad idea. They also had crabs on weekdays. I realized later that although there were crab legs at my table, there were no crab pickers, making it difficult to eat (I found out that other tables had crab pickers). The crabs were small but had a strong flavor, which was good! Sushi and tempura are also made to order, which is very convenient. Since it was a Hokkaido fair, they also made Genghis Khan upon order. I highly recommend it for lamb lovers! They also have roast beef carving. Another unique feature is the drinks! Including flavored carbonated drinks, the price is very cheap! By the way, it was 6,200 yen.

【Chef's Live Kitchen】I visited for the first time in September 2023. This buffet-style restaurant is located in the InterContinental Tokyo Bay hotel in Takeshiba. I always wanted to conquer the hotel buffets in the 23 wards of Tokyo, but I always ended up going to the same places. So, my expectations were high for my first InterContinental buffet. First of all, the entrance to the restaurant is cool! The interior is just the right size, with a view of the Rainbow Bridge from the windows. The dishes lined up sparkled, and the buffet tables were always kept clean. They bring one dish to your table that is not on the buffet table, and although I forgot what it was, it was incredibly delicious. The sushi made in front of you is small and easy to eat, with fresh ingredients. The tempura, while not as good as a real tempura restaurant, was still quite good for a buffet. The taste of the other dishes and desserts was not outstanding, but they were elegant and carefully made, placing this buffet in a higher rank among hotel buffets. Although the variety of dishes is not the largest, the buffet price on a weekday night (6,500 yen with a discount) felt like a great deal. It seemed to be a period called "Hokkaido Gourmet Trip" as there was crab available. It was not the type with a lot of crab meat due to its small size, but it had a rich flavor and was very delicious. I will definitely go back! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a dinner buffet for the first time. It must be my fifth time already. It's really empty on weekdays. The menu was quite different from during the day. Tempura fried right in front of you. Shrimp, squid, mushrooms, conger eel, okra, etc., all fried on the spot. Sushi made in front of you. Tuna, squid, shrimp, salmon. They're small and delicious. Roast beef, salad, soft serve ice cream, desserts, ajillo, gratin, bagna cauda, and more, too much to eat. Each dish is so delicious that I'm satisfied no matter what I eat. I want to try a little bit of everything. The night view is beautiful, it's empty, it's the best. Eating delicious food while chatting is the best.

On my wife's birthday, we went to this restaurant near Takeshiba Pier. We enjoy trying a variety of dishes, so a buffet was perfect for us. It was our first time here, and the atmosphere from the moment we entered felt luxurious, making us feel like we had become rich. We arrived on time and were seated at a sofa where we could see the food through glass. Maybe they gave us a good seat because we mentioned it was a birthday? The food was... Tempura was crispy and delicious. The roast beef was really tasty. The salad was fun to shake and complete. The sushi, especially the tuna and amberjack, had good quality fish. The dessert, a Mont Blanc made on the spot, was enjoyable. Overall, there were no disappointments. The variety of dishes may be limited, but the taste was excellent. We will definitely come back to this restaurant. Not many pictures, sorry! 😄

I used it for lunch with my friends. The restaurant was spacious and crowded with many customers. The window-side table had a nice view and was lovely! The plan was a 3-hour buffet & free drink. They brought the appetizers to the table first. It was nice because they brought it to us without us having to move, but if there were things we didn't like, we couldn't leave them and as we started to get full, it was a bit of a challenge to go to the buffet later. The variety of dishes was a bit limited. Maybe because the appetizers they brought at the beginning were already lined up, it made the buffet seem like it had fewer options. There were a lot of mango desserts.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Hamamatsucho Station to the hotel buffet on the 3rd floor of the Intercontinental. This time, they are having a Taiwan event, so there are various Taiwanese dishes available, such as dim sum, tapioca milk tea, and a trendy bowl salad. There are also a variety of drinks to enjoy. The salad comes with a lid, so you shake it before eating. There are many different types of salad ingredients, such as soft-boiled egg, diced bacon, lettuce, shrimp, etc. It was delicious. In the dim sum corner, they have xiaolongbao, meat buns, shumai, and shrimp dim sum. The xiaolongbao was delicious, but the meat buns and others were just average. They also have green curry and other dishes, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors.

◆Adult/Dessert & Light Meal Buffet [Welcome! Super Taiwan Festival] In collaboration with "MeetFresh 鮮芋仙", sponsored by EVA Air, and others. In May, a friend found out about it, and at that time, there was no course information on the hotel's website yet, but my friend made a reservation. I am familiar with MeetFresh 鮮芋仙 as there is one in Ikebukuro, and I have been there a few times. It gives the impression of small portions, but since it's a buffet, it should be fine (what does that mean? lol). I have seen it from the Yurikamome train before, but it was my first visit. I walked above ground from Hamamatsucho Station South Exit, and on the way back, I took the North Exit, circling the building on the third floor and descending to the ground floor before walking a bit to reach the station. In front of the restaurant, there is a lounge with both sofa and chair seating, giving a luxurious and calming vibe. When my friends arrived, at 3 o'clock, staff members came out from the restaurant and greeted us, saying "Thank you for waiting!" with lovely smiles. At the reception inside, we stated our names, and we were escorted to our seats. Outside the window, we could see the Rainbow Bridge! However, the space between the table with a sofa and the one with chairs was slightly narrow. First, a staff member thanked us and provided some explanations. The welcome drink could be with or without alcohol, and one person chose with, while another person and I chose without. We were served grape sparkling juice, which had a strong grape skin flavor and was sweet, with a mild carbonation. The welcome meal was a pineapple cake, very Taiwanese! The pineapple cake was fresh and tasty, and the accompanying cream was not bad, raising our expectations! Then came the buffet. After taking a look around and taking some photos, which is rare for me, I started with the drinks section, where you could mix carbonated water with your favorite flavors. There were hot and cold drinks, and since it was a Taiwan festival, there was Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong Tea. I opted for Pu'er tea, which came out quite dark, so I also requested some hot water. Next was the food section. The curry was Green Curry that day, so I passed on that. I tried the fried chicken and fried potatoes. The pasta was made in a live kitchen, where the noodles were already boiled and drizzled with olive oil. The... (Note: The translation has been truncated as it exceeds the character limit. Bright interior. The staff's smiles were lovely. The crunchy salad was delicious, I had plenty, and the sushi was freshly made right in front of me. The Mont Blanc dessert was a perfect way to finish the meal. I ate so much for dinner and breakfast the next morning that I couldn't eat anymore. The location was easy to find and the cost performance was good. I want to come back to this restaurant again.

Until now, it was a dessert buffet. This time, I went for lunch. For lunch, there are options like sushi and a variety of curries. I love the green curry here. Since it's a Taiwan fest, there are lots of my favorite Asian dishes and mangoes. It's delicious. There were quite a few spicy dishes as well. The crispy chicken is still delicious as always.

It is lunchtime on May 1, 2023. My husband and I were able to take a 9-day Golden Week holiday, so we decided to go to Takeshiba! We didn't know much about the InterContinental or the Chef's Live Kitchen, but we made a reservation thinking it might have Taiwanese cuisine. It wasn't exactly Taiwanese, but it was healthy and delicious. There was a super new staff member who seemed very fresh and eager to help! Thank you for the meal!

This was my first visit. We went as a family on a special day. Lunch buffet for 90 minutes is 5,170 yen (including tax, free for children under 3 on weekends). The waiter brought us minestrone before the meal, and everything else was buffet style. There were 4 types of bread: focaccia, tomato bread, chocolate bread, and berry bread. I knew it wasn't good to fill up on carbs because I wanted to enjoy a variety of dishes, but I ended up trying all of them. In conclusion, it was great. The quality of the salad, pork belly, chicken, and other vegetables and meats was good, and all the dishes were delicious. Personally, I enjoyed the green pea soup (the combination of soup and cheese was very delicious), the spaghetti carbonara (they say you can tell a chef's skill with simple dishes, and this creamy carbonara was excellent), and the lemon Mont Blanc (I tried it for the first time and the refreshing sourness of the lemon combined with the rich sweetness of the Mont Blanc was truly excellent). It had been a while since I had a buffet, but this place was a hit. I would definitely like to go back to eat again. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy a delicious meal while overlooking Tokyo Bay and the Bay Bridge at the Intercontinental in Shibaura. There are various options available, but I was pleasantly surprised by the salad served in a cup, which was delicious with a crunchy texture. The hotel curry is also irresistible, I can't help but reach for it.

Eating delicious food in a scenic location is important for enriching the mind in the midst of busy daily life. There are various drink options available. You can enjoy a leisurely meal in a relatively calm atmosphere, with tasty desserts, crispy chicken, and warm delicious dishes. The plates are promptly cleared once you finish eating. The Intercontinental Hotel exudes a sense of luxury, and the staff members are considerate and attentive. The restroom is clean and well-maintained. The high parking fees are understandable given the location. I would love to visit again as the menu changes with the seasons.

Chef's Live Kitchen at Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay is a hotel buffet. This time, I was lucky enough to attend a company gathering, so the company paid for it! Hehehehe... This time it was the "Spring Italian Gourmet Journey - Herb & Tomato Vono Fair". I made a reservation for the weekday lunch at 13:00. Early reservations were not available, but it was quite empty. Perhaps they are limiting the number of people due to COVID. First, they served "Minestrone Soup with Herb Aroma and Cheese Croutons" as the first dish, which was delicious. Then, I headed straight to the buffet table! There were various appetizers and cup salads on the ice table. They even had Bagna Cauda! There were only 4 types of bread, but they had a good selection of jams and butter. There was a machine that could warm up the bread. The freshness of the bread can greatly affect its taste, so this was important! You could also have freshly made sushi! The toppings were salmon, squid, and tuna. Freshly made sushi... so happy... (I haven't been to a sushi restaurant recently). You could also have cheese pasta by shaving a large piece of cheese over it! I love this! There was also Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. The highlight of the dessert was the customizable desserts. You could choose your own gelato and toppings to create a colorful taste parfait! They also had freshly squeezed honey lemon cheesecake Mont Blanc! Delicious!! I felt happy with the gelato, mini cakes, and chocolate fountain. The hotel's special Black Curry was flavorful and delicious. You could choose salt (lemon salt, bamboo charcoal salt, etc.) and sauce for the crispy chicken, which was nice, but it would have been even more delicious if the chicken was freshly grilled. The warm dishes were lukewarm, which was disappointing. I wish they were hotter. There was also Margherita pizza, but it was also lukewarm... a shame. The drink bar had a good variety. It was nice that it wasn't a machine. They even had flavored sparkling water. Overall, the menu was not very extensive, but everything was delicious and made me happy! There were many men this time, but I ate more than anyone else. Yeah, I knew it! The restaurant was bright and open with large windows letting in plenty of sunlight, making it very clean and pleasant. The service was also excellent, as expected from Intercontinental.

Before the national holiday, this restaurant is always packed with families and young couples, so reservations are a must. When you sit down, they serve a bacon and vegetable clam chowder-like dish as the first course. Even though it doesn't contain seafood, the bacon flavor blends perfectly with the soup and it's really delicious. They also offer a colorful salad, freshly made sushi, crispy tempura, and a beautifully presented roast beef as the main dish. With such a wide variety of options, you are guaranteed to leave satisfied. Thank you for the feast.

Hotel buffets are always exciting, aren't they? Recently, there has been a rise in "chef's live" stations, but I believe this place was one of the pioneers. The tempura is freshly fried, and the sushi is freshly made. Both are prepared after you place your order. The sushi, in particular, is made like at a sushi restaurant where they take the order, take the fish out of the fridge, cut it, and then make the sushi. In conveyor belt sushi places, the fish is often pre-cut, so even if it's freshly made, there can be a slight dryness or watery texture from defrosting. Also, in buffet sushi, they often pre-make a lineup of sushi, unlike here where they make it fresh for you each time, allowing you to enjoy it in its best state. The roast beef is also cut to order, and even the galettes are made after you order them. Of course, there are also pre-made dishes on the table, but the amount is kept minimal to prevent drying out the food. If what you want is not there when you go to get it, you can just ask and they will prepare it for you right away, showing their commitment to always providing fresh and well-maintained dishes without waste. By reducing the amount served and increasing the frequency of serving, they eliminate the waste of food left out for a long time and becoming dry and having to be discarded. This time, we used it for a 50th-anniversary celebration. Even though it's a buffet, we were able to request a special dessert plate to celebrate the anniversary, and there was also a service where the staff would bring recommended dishes from the buffet menu to your table (additional fee required). With the all-you-can-drink option and service charge, it came to around ¥8,300. The taste of the food was impeccable, true hotel quality! I wanted to try all the dishes, but unfortunately, my stomach had its limits. I wish I had the stomach of Gyaru Sone-chan or Moeazu-chan. One more thing to note is that it would have been helpful if the staff could inform us of their recommended dishes to avoid duplicates when we went to get food ourselves, allowing us to try more dishes. Despite this, I was very satisfied, and it was a great event. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back!

Happy New Year! We have started 2023. Ah, New Year's is wonderful! Every day, I've been eating delicious ozoni soup with mochi at my parents' house. I spent the end of the year cleaning the house, visiting the family grave, and going to the shrine - the typical Japanese New Year. As for something new for the New Year, I bought a Barbapapa calendar. Barbapapa is so cute! "Code Name <Princess Nobita>, it's a mission. Conquer the buffet at the Continental Hotel. The enemy this time is tough, so the whole family must join forces." Princess Nobita: "Understood." Anya: "What will you wear to the hotel? A cute dress? Or a cool suit?" Princess Nobita: "A dress? I don't have one... A suit? I haven't worn one in 2 years. It's just sitting in the closet." Anya: "...(This person is planning to go in a sweater full of lint they bought on Mercari early in the New Year...)" So, we went to the Continental Hotel's buffet Chef's Live Kitchen! Yay! Actually, it has become a tradition for my family to go to an all-you-can-eat buffet at the beginning of the year. The popular all-you-can-eat buffet at the Continental Hotel. Since it's New Year's, there was osechi (traditional Japanese New Year dishes). I can't write about everything, so here are the things that left an impression. Please look at the photos for the rest. - Roast Beef: It was so tender and beautifully pink. It was so delicious that I went back for seconds about 5 times! I tried it with a Japanese-style sauce and with rock salt. The mashed potatoes on the side were also smooth and delicious. - Quiche: It was small but had a strong egg flavor and was soft and fluffy! It had plenty of salmon, sausages, and vegetables, and I could eat as many as I wanted. - Tempura: They fry shrimp, vegetables, etc., right in front of you. I ordered pumpkin over and over. It was sweet and fluffy. I love pumpkin. The level of taste in the dishes was high, and everything was delicious! The only downside was that there were few dessert options and the taste was not great. The chocolate fondue with fruit was fun though. There is no dress code, so even someone like me, who is a bit casual, is okay. You can enjoy it casually. May 2023 be a prosperous year for everyone!

Intercontinental buffet with the family and then heading to Disneyland sounds like a great plan! It is one of the top buffets in Tokyo, with high-quality dishes such as roast beef and sushi. The live kitchen with tempura is also a fun experience. The desserts and salads are excellent, making it a paradise for buffet lovers. However, I tend to overeat and feel sick afterwards, which is my own fault. It's a good choice for family celebrations or special occasions. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a lunch buffet. They were having a fall dessert fair, so the dishes looked Halloween-themed and there was a cute matsutake mushroom and conger eel soup as the first dish, with chawanmushi as the base, with a gentle flavor. They also had Hokkaido-style dishes like shrimp miso ramen, soup curry, etc. You could customize your miso ramen with your favorite toppings and it was delicious. There was a corner where you could make your own carbonated drinks with options like hibiscus and Calpis. The seating was spacious, with hotel staff readily available for assistance, providing attentive service. There was a birthday couple celebrating, making it a memorable experience. The view from the window overlooking Takeshiba Pier was refreshing. Luckily, there was a boat departing, so we were able to take a cruise to Asakusa. Thank you for the meal!

I suddenly decided to go. I had a window seat with a nice view, and the dishes were visually appealing while also taking measures against COVID-19. They were delicious. I especially liked the tomato Bavarois, sushi, and choux ice cream. The staff's service was good, except for being a bit slow to clear the dishes. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would like to go again.
