I visited on a weekday afternoon, about 40 minutes before the screening time. Since there was still time before the screening, I couldn't enter through the escalator, so I took the elevator to the 12th floor. The seats were about 20% filled, so I could choose any seat I wanted! During the hot season, seats that are not in direct sunlight are popular, but I prefer seats with a good view, so I chose a corner seat. Unfortunately, they did not have the ◇Prosciutto & Cheese Plate◇ or the Pizza Bianca Ham Serrano, which I wanted to try. I have visited four times and they did not have these two items, so I think they are probably not available rather than sold out. This time, I ordered the ◆Pizza Prosciutto Bismarck for 1,130 yen (excluding tax). I thought the Margherita pizza was simple, but it had a lot of cheese and tomato sauce, so I avoided it, and the Shrimp Genovese probably had a lot of cheese as well? So, I chose the most simple option, the Prosciutto Bismarck. It was indeed a simple pizza with plenty of (not authentic) prosciutto and a half-cooked egg. There were no vegetables, the cheese amount was not too much, and there was no sauce, so I think it avoids excessive salt and fat. With no sauce, the taste of the dough is easy to understand. It's not the dough of a pizzeria, nor the taste of delivery pizza, but more like the flavor of a "high-end frozen pizza" priced between 500-1000 yen per piece. The dough was like a hard white bread, with a good texture and no crispy crust or aroma. Compared to other pizzas, the absence of sauce makes the crust more prominent. If you don't like the crust without strong flavors, you might end up leaving a lot behind. I also ordered a glass of red wine for 410 yen (excluding tax). Coffee and wine were the same price! So, I chose wine. If you want a chilled wine, I recommend white. ----- The food is within the range of "concession" tastes, the interior of the restaurant is not particularly impressive, and the view is not breathtaking, but if you choose the right time, it's a relaxed place where you can eat by the window while looking at the sky. I wouldn't recommend it to others, but at least I like this place. Skipping work, drinking wine, enjoying the view, and then watching IMAX, it feels like a luxurious time. The IMAX at Grand Cinema Sunshine is truly impressive, and it's my favorite theater to the point where I take a day off work just to come here. I think there is no theater better than this. The best flow is to leisurely use the Bar Panorama before watching IMAX. The first time I watched "Avatar," the visuals were beyond imagination! It was worth watching in real IMAX! Regardless of whether it's my favorite movie, it may be the "most perfect work" I've seen so far. "Avatar: James Cameron 3D Remastered" is being released nationwide in theaters for a limited two-week period from September 23, 2022 (Fri, holiday) to October 6, 2022 (Thu), so be sure to watch it in IMAX 3D! It's a long 166 minutes, but I strongly believe that this is a movie that should be watched in theaters, not on DVD.
